Haley was walking through the swamps of Rodia with Luke. She wore a brown Pancho over her black tank top with matching pants. She had her brown hair in a messy bun with two strands framing her face. She also wore black boots with a small blaster holstered on her thigh. Luke wore his signature yellow jacket. He also had on brown pants and black boots with a matching shirt. He had his blaster on one side of his hip and his lightsaber on the other.

"How much further is the ship?" she asked, sounding exasperated. Luke rolled his eyes. "How many times are you gonna ask that?" Haley glared at the back of his head. "As many times as I want!" she exclaimed. "Not much further," he told her.

The two kept walking through the swamp. "Why are we leaving Rodia again? I thought we came here to get supporters of the rebellion." Haley asked her focused and quite uninterested ally. "New orders. Han will be taking our place, and we will be going elsewhere." Haley sighed aggressively. "Who's orders?" she demanded. Luke didn't respond.

The two approached a modified X-Wing. It had an extended cockpit to fit two people, and R2 waited for them inside the astromech slot. The two got in the X-Wing and left the atmosphere.

"So, care to fill me in?" Haley probed. Luke sighed. "We are going to Tython. There is an old Jedi temple there that can help us master the force and understand the Jedi." Haley raised her eyebrow. "Who told you this?" Luke was silent for a moment. He punched the X-Wing into hyperspace and then responded. "My old master did. He and I converse through the force from time to time." Haley shook her head. "Yea, yea makes sense. I talk to my dead friends and family all the time! Fine, don't tell me!" she pouted. Luke sighed once again and chuckled.

They came out of hyperspace and were met by the giant earth-like planet. They descended to a clearing in a forest close to where the temple was supposed to be. They hopped out of the X-Wing and made their way into the forest towards the temple.

"So what are we hoping to find here?" Haley asked while trying to catch up to him. "Well Obi-Wan said there could be things there that can teach us about the Jedi," he told her.

They eventually came out of the forest to see a colossal ruined Jedi temple. The streets leading to it were nonexistent. There were vines and leaves growing all over the outside of the walls of the temple. The only way they knew it was there was for the roof of the temple being caved in. They made their way over to the temple.

They encountered the door. It had been sealed shut from the weathering. "We need to get through the door." Haley eyed the door and then turned to Luke. "How about we use the force to get in?" he nodded in agreement and the two held out their hands and took a deep breath.

The door began to shake, and the moss and vines vibrated off the door. CRACK! Luke and Haley's eyes shot open and saw a spear had pierced the front door. The two whipped around and saw a small militia of Flesh Raiders. Tall bipedal flesh-colored creatures with a hammerhead shark-shaped head. They wore gladiator-like attire. They all held spears and swords.

Luke drew his blaster. Haley pulled the spear out of the door and turned back to the raiders. They approached them and Haley pointed the spearhead at the group. Luke then holstered his weapon and turned to her. "Drop the spear." she raised her eyebrow. "This isn't the time for one of your stupid ideas!" she snapped. He gently took hold of the spear and she reluctantly gave it up.

Luke then held it out offering it back. One Raider from the group cautiously came up to Luke and snatched the spear out of his hand and threw it to a comrade. Haley looked at Luke like he was crazy and he gave her a small smile in return. Her mind calmed at his smile. The Flesh Raiders surrounded them and cuffed their hands.

The Flesh Raiders walked them through the forest. "Brilliant idea. Let's get captured by the natives." Haley said dripping with sarcasm. Luke spoke softly. "Trust in the force." Haley sighed but complied.

They arrived at a clearing ending with the side of a mountain with a huge cave opening at the bottom. They passed Flesh Raider farmers and a shack with hunters gathered around it sharpening their weapons.

They stopped in front of the cave entrance. A pure white flesh raider came out of the cave with a necklace made of bones hugging his neck. He held a golden staff topped with a massive blue kyber crystal. "Welcome travelers! Pardon the abrasiveness but we don't get a lot of outsiders," he said.

"It can talk!?" Haley thought. Luke gave a slight bow. "Thank you for having us. We seek passage into the forgotten temple." The pale flesh raider spoke. "I see, I can grant you this but I must warn you. If you continue down this path you will be faced with many challenges. Pain and suffering are in your future. It is written: One will Betray. One will Sacrifice. One will Destroy."

"Who is this prophecy about?" Luke asked. The Flesh Raider shook his head. "I do not know I only know what the force tells me." Luke was surprised. "You know the ways of the force?" the prophet shook his head again. "No I am merely guided by it." the Prophet waved his hand and the guards freed them of their restraints. "Now go and choose your path. All I ask in return is that you keep my people out of your conflicts." with that the Prophet and his guards entered the cave.

Haley spoke out. "Wait! What other path is there?" she asked. The Flesh Raiders escaped from sight but the Prophet's voice boomed. "You'll know when the time is right!".

The two made their way back to the temple. Haley's mind raced. "Three people were mentioned but who are they? Is it Luke and me? If so who's the third? Is it me? Then who are the other two?" her mind continued to race as she kept theorizing but never came to a definitive answer.

The two arrived back at the door and continued to open it with the force. They entered the temple. They walked over mossy cobblestone floors and through a dark long hallway. Luke ignited his saber to give some light while they walked through.

They soon realized as they walked through the hallway that it was littered with corpses. Some were Jedi and some were Sith although Haley nor Luke could tell which was which. Something caught Haley's eye. It was a mossy silver lightsaber hilt with golden accents complementing it. She tried to turn it on but she had no luck, nonetheless, she clipped it to her belt and resumed following Luke.

They were stopped by a door and together they blew the door clean off the frame. They entered an enormous foyer. Moss and grass littered the room. Two sets of staircases parallel from each other hugged the walls leading up to the second story and in the middle of the room was a giant mossy bronze cube riddled with holes. It was illuminated thanks to the sun ray shining upon it thanks to the giant hole in the ceiling.

The two walked the room to find anything they could use for the rebellion or anything to help with their quest for knowledge. Luke made his way to the bronze cube and looked at the square holes which looked to be empty. Haley walked around the room and ran her hand across the ruined wall. She noticed burn marks scattered around the room. "Must've been a huge battle," she thought.

"Haley," Luke called. She turned to the blonde boy and saw he was knelt down next to the bronze cube. She walked towards him to see a faint blue glow come from him.

When he turned to her he held a Jedi Holocron. It was a glowing square blue cube with gold accents. Similar to that of the bronze cube they stood next to but on an extremely smaller scale. "What is that?" Haley asked. Luke shook his head. "I'm not sure but it calls to me," Luke put the cube in the pocket of his yellow jacket.

Before they could continue the search for more artifacts the ignition of a lightsaber drew their attention to the hallway they came from. It was James with his crimson blade. James stepped into the room and their faces became clear. He stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of Haley's face.

Luke ignited his cerulean blade and stood at the ready. Haley was overjoyed at seeing her former lover. "James…" she whimpered. James dropped his saber and ran to Haley and she did the same. The two slammed into each other sharing a short but passionate kiss. She caressed the scar present on his face. She could feel the pain he suffered. He gently took her hand and shook his head gently.

Luke looked around for a moment very confused. He cleared his throat and sheathed his blade. "Mind telling me what's happening?" he asked. The two looked at him. Haley spoke first. "So this is James. He was one of the people who arrived here with me," she told him giddily.

Luke raised an eyebrow. "I thought you said everyone died on the…Death Star…" he said a bit sorrowful on the last bit. He might've thought he was killing Imperials but he never thought about how there could have been innocent people on the station. He didn't regret his choice but he would've been naive to think he killed only the bad guys.

James looked at Haley. "No, we all made it out." Haley almost squealed. "So Chloe is alive too! Wait what about Andrew did he make it too?" Luke slowly approached but kept his distance from James.

"Yes they survived…but.." James began to tear up. Haley covered her mouth and her eyes burned with tears as well. "No…" she choked out. "Haley, Andrew is a monster. He killed Chloe!" Haley shook her head. "He and his psycho girlfriend killed her. Chloe begged to live and they killed her. I ran like a coward and I can still hear her screams when I sleep." a tear escaped his eye.

Luke ignited his blade again. James held on to Haley tight with one arm and called his hilt with the force and ignited his blade with the other. "Why are you wearing the Imperial insignia?" Luke asked. "I am an Inquisitor for the Empire. What's it matter to you?" Haley broke free of his grip and backed up. "You work for the Empire?" she gasped.

"The Empire is full of heartless tyrants who do nothing but push their own selfish goals." Luke spat. James pointed his blade at Luke. "Not all of us are like that." Haley looked at James with tears in her eyes once more. "You don't have to work for them, we can be together again. Please walk away from it join us, join the Rebellion. Fight for freedom. Fight for me." James looked at the ground for a moment. Her words stumped him but before he could think of anything else a blaster bolt came down between them all from the hole in the ceiling.

They all looked up at where the shot came from and gracefully came down a redhead with pale skin and light black leather armor. She had brown eyes and a blaster strapped to her hip. She then unsheathed a black lightsaber hilt from her belt and ignited the saber and out came an amethyst blade.

A/N: MARA JADE! I know this might seem fast-paced but I NEEDED to get the chapter over with. I couldn't go ANOTHER week without posting. I am starting Nursing school so the updates will be slower. I am having fun writing this so please review it! ALL FEEDBACK IS WELCOME!
