In the Dragon Worlds, everyone is gathered in a sort of funeral for Crashzilla. While he's not technically dead, he's been frozen in what seems more like permafrost or some kind of ice prison. Unable to move, talk, or anything. Just a frozen statue putting up a middle finger.
Even after everything warmed up again, Crashzilla was still frozen. Even after everything they tried, fire breath, heavy things, acid, you name it, it still had no effect on Crashzilla's frozen state.
Since they tried everything they could, they figured it'll probably be best to let him go. Dead or not, it would at least be a nice sendoff rather than waste anymore energy since they literally used everything they could to unfreeze him.
Ignitus walked onto a stage built by everyone who volunteered. It's not so much they missed Crashzilla as much as they were doing it out of kindness.
Ignitus gets behind a podium and placed a piece of paper on it that had Crashzilla's eulogy written on it by one of the elder dragons. After glancing over everyone that was present there, he began to speak.
"In the year of our Lord 2023, Crashzilla was called from the cares of the world.
Although he was rough around the edges... and that's putting it mildly" Ignitus added making some of the audience laugh.
He continued. "...he was still considered part of our family. A very diverse family that only grew since our newcomers arrived. Sharing memories, having adventures and dealing with the madness that plagued our world for a good long while.
He was found frozen giving the middle finger. And seems to be able to remain vulgar even when frozen." Ignitus added looking back at the frozen bandicoot slash lizard thing still holding up the middle finger.
He then turned back to the paper and continued reading. "We hope that we will see him again one day. But today, we say goodbye. Although this fate may or may not be bittersweet, we hope for the best. And that you will be spared from a worse fate than death."
Ignitus nodded to the dragon with the bagpipes and they started playing.
Meanwhile, Crash, Spyro, and Hunter all went to the frozen Crashzilla and started to push him. They continued to struggle to get a good grip, but they kept going. They went on for what felt like hours, but it was only a half an hour. Eventually, they were approaching a huge crack in the ground that looked like it was going down a black abyss.
"You think... this won't come back to haunt us?" Spyro asked.
"Not sure... But... I would think... he'd... prefer it... this... way!" When Crash finished talking the frozen Crashzilla statue fell into the black abyss. Not sure what will happen to him down there. But if it does kill him, they'd be doing him a favor.
"How many people do we have left?" Spyro asked.
"Hmm. Crashzilla is down there, Goku comes and goes, Kay hasn't been here in a while, Flame and Ember are dead, I think Cortex and Ripto are dead, Malefor is dead, Cyndra disappeared, same with Sparx and Aku Aku, and just about everyone else who are minions of Cortex and Ripto are gone. So that just leaves you, me, Hunter, Coco, who came back somehow, same with Bently, Sheila, Agent 9, The Professor, Sgt. Byrd and there's Ignitus, Cynder, Dingodile, who joined us later on, the Elder Dragons and a whole bunch of miscellaneous dragons who live here. I'm sure I'm missing something somewhere. But that's all I got from memory."
"Sheesh. What the hell happened? This feels... empty now."
"How do you mean?"
"I mean, there's no more bad guys, we haven't been in your world for a while, we've only done what felt like either a fever dream or someone's sadistic imagination. How do we even go from here? We got nothing but a big mess."
Crash thought for a moment. And knew Spyro was right. There was not much left over after all the bad guys were killed off. And everything just came and went. No structure, build up or anything. There's been nothing worthwhile now. And after six years of nothing going on, maybe it was time for a reset. A fresh new start. A clean slate. And better focuses on characters involved as Hunter was just standing there not sure what to add to Crash and Spyro's conversation.
After the many imploding thoughts that entered both Crash's and Spyro's minds, it started a wormhole. And it was sucking everything in sight. Buildings, trees, rocks and everyone. Once everything got sucked in, it was nothing but darkness. Everything got vacuumed out of existence. No Crash, no Spyro, not even Goku or Crashzilla. It all just stopped. And this wacky show that lasted a good long while has finally come to an end. A bitter ending. But an ending nevertheless.
The End
A/N: Yeah... I just decided to end it all here. I know it's false advertising. A neverending story ending. But, it's also not. In fact, I will bring both Crash and Spyro back in a storyline that actually takes advantages of what both worlds have to offer. For the longest time, I was always into Spyro's world, but I liked Crash more as a character. This time, I'm gonna switch it up a bit. So, for the next storyline I will start with these guys will technically be a sequel story. The one catch however: No more involving any OCs or characters outside the Crash and Spyro universes. I might allow some references, but that'll be it. The only exception, maybe, is stuff from Skylanders. But, we'll see. Btw, the new story will welcome requests too, just not as free range as this one.
Sorry for this grim ending, but I just felt like it was time to end it. And, I'll be honest, I have some bad memories with this story that I would like to put to rest. All real life related and has nothing to do with what went on here. And I want to start something new.
Thank you all for reading this, and thank you all for the memories, requests and everything. It was fun using random ideas from you guys. I would also like to give a quick shoutout to SuperSaiyanCrash for helping me out when I was starting off.
Anyways, God bless and I'll see you in my next post. Have a good day!
