Jack stared out the window in his classroom, barely paying attention to the teacher or what was being taught at the moment. His mind was filled with questions about Galaxy. She was completely different from Predaking and his companions, but that was because the three mechs were pushed in the wrong direction by Megatron.
I wonder how long it must've been for Galaxy to be alone. I'm honestly impressed.
He suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder, making him jump in surprise.
"I didn't know the clouds were that interesting to you, Jackie." A voice giggled from beside him.
Jack turned and grinned sheepishly at the transfer student that he had a small crush on. "W-well, sometimes your imagination can take you places."
The teen girl beside him was a transfer student from Brooklyn, New York, but her appearance was slightly more on the "country" side.
Her name was Serenity Anderson. She specialized in coding and creating new gadgets, but she only told that to people who she trusted. Jack, Miko, and Raf were the only ones she trusted thus far.
She leaned forward on her desk and rested her head on her arms, looking up at him with a smirk. "Oh? And may I ask what you were imagining about?"
Her almond skin and sharp, chocolate brown eyes seemed to glisten as the sun's rays shined down through the window. The mixed aura of beauty and brawn surrounding Serenity reminded Jack of Arcee. The poor male tried to speak, but nothing came out as a blush crept across his cheeks. The older female giggled at how cute he was being.
"Let's just focus on the teacher before we're caught talking." She winked at him before turning her head back to the lesson.
Jack took a shaky breath and did the same, not noticing two other girls looking at them, one of the girls glaring while the other whipped out her phone and smirked as she took a secret picture of them.
Galaxy was able to use her wings to fly around the base, following Arcee as she showed her around. Bulkhead and Bumblebee both were still uneasy with having a Predacon in their base. But since Galaxy was nice and didn't seem threatening towards them, they smiled softly at her and went on their way to their rooms.
Honestly, the base was a lot simpler than the Predacon femme thought. But, you had to work with what you got sometimes.
When the tour was over, Galaxy looked up at the ceiling with a wistful look on her face. Arcee noticed and turned to Ratchet, who was working on something.
"Hey Ratch. I'm taking Galaxy up to the roof." She replied, taking her sister's hand and leading her to the tunnel to the top.
A few minutes later, Galaxy's eyes widened at the beautiful sight before her, and she clapped and chirped in excitement and happiness.
Arcee couldn't help but smile at how happy she felt seeing her like this. She was like a Sparkling; her excitement and her energy reminded her of the small Cybertronians that were now in the Well of Allsparks. It made her more guilty for leaving her during the fall of Cybertron.
I know it's in the past but... I still can't help but feel like it's my fault...
The two-wheeler femme shook her helm and forced herself to focus on what was in front of her. Galaxy was hovering a few feet above the ground, twirling around as she voicebox gave out a gurgled, but happy giggle. She started to move forward, but stopped herself, her claws flexing in and out in contemplation.
It looked like she wanted to fly in the clear blue sky for a little while, but was keeping herself close to Arcee. The blue robotic female came into Galaxy's view and smiled back at her.
"If you want, you can enjoy yourself. You deserve it after surviving this long in the war." She offered, gesturing out into the vast desert and canyon that stretched on for miles.
The Predacon femme's optics widened in anticipation, however she stayed where she was, and looked at Arcee with a small grin.
"I wanna stay with you, sis. The view is beautiful, yes. But... I wanna be with you for now. If... that's okay..."
A faint blue blush surfaced on Arcee's faceplates as she turned her head to the side with a bashful pout. "... O-of course i-it's okay. I just thought t-that you'd like to feel happy with the outdoors."
Galaxy beeped a giggle-like sound and started to pat Arcee's helm, the two-wheeler squeaking in surprise.
"H-hey! Stop it!" She yelped.
The Predacon femme only stuck out a bit of her glossa and grinned in response as she continued to pet her.
Even though times had changed, one thing stayed the same: Arcee was always embarrassed but grateful for the love she received from her sister, and Galaxy loved her little sister all the same.
...
