Natsu stood alone in his kitchen as he poured over the schematics designed by Levy. They were impressive and would help the common folk, but it wasn't very impressive when it came to someone like him. He had the ability to cut through dimensions and create a tunnel through space that allows him to move across the country in an instant or grow wings that allowed him to fly great distances with less effort and exertion than propelling himself with jets of fire. Yet with all his power, he could see the potential for fun in the holographic vehicle schematics in front of him, he just needed the right stuff for it…
"Master~!" Seilah called out as she threw herself onto the man's sturdy back. "What are you up to?"
"Checking over these vehicles that popped up while I was gone." Natsu replied with a glance back at the demoness, she had her horns out and was dressed in her usual short kimono. "You look good."
"Thanks Master." Seilah smiled as she moved in front of him and pushed herself up onto the bench. She leant in and took a closer look at the schematics. "They are very unusual machines, aren't they?"
"It's a start, but I've seen more complex things in other places." The demonic man sighed and gave his favourite demon a kiss on the forehead. "Levy and I will be heading out to search for more tech, stuff we can reverse engineer and use here."
"Could I come along?"
Natsu looked up at the woman in shock, he blinked slowly at her then smiled sightly. "I didn't think you'd be interested in that kind of thing."
"I think it would be fun, plus it means I can spend time with you, Master."
"Well, you're more than welcome to join us, Seilah." The salmon-haired demon closed down the Archive Magic window and caressed the demoness' cheek. A knock on the door caught both of their attention, drawing their gaze to the front of the house. "Do you mind getting that? Oh, do you know where Ikaruga is?"
"She's been doing Yoga recently, so she'll probably be in her room." Seilah hopped off the bench and adjusted her kimono, briefly flashing Natsu as she gave him a playful wink. She shivered and moaned softly when Natsu's warm fingers rubbed and caressed her horns. With great effort, Seilah stopped herself from pushing her Master to the floor and mounting him. "I'll go get the door before I lose control of myself."
"Heh heh." Natsu grinned playfully and lightly spanked his demoness as she turned to leave, eliciting another moan from the woman and causing her resolve to falter. As she turned and looked back at the man she was met with a playful yet loving grin.
"I missed you, Natsu. I'm glad you're back…" Her voice quietened as she pressed up against the man's chest and closed her eyes. "I love you, Natsu."
"I know, Seilah." Natsu replied as he wrapped an arm around her and ran his hand through her hair. "It might not have been for long but I missed you too." He pressed his lips against her forehead and murmured against her light skin. "I love you too, my beautiful demoness."
The horned demon held onto the man's shirt as she breathed in his smoky wooden scent, only pulling away once the door was knocked on once again. As she pulled away, she was met with a quick flash of light and a collection of novels placed into her hands. "Oh!" A smile spread across her face as she raised her eyes to Natsu's obsidian orbs. "Are these mine?"
"A gift, they came out recently or so I was told. I hope you don't have this?"
"No. Well, I have the first book, but I don't have the set." She beamed happily and held the box to her chest. "Thank you, Master!"
Natsu kissed the woman's forehead and slowly caressed one of her horns again, earning a pout from the demon at his teasing fingers.
Seilah placed the collection of books down on the bench so she could grab it later as she turned and started to leave the kitchen. A playful thought shot through her mind as she smirked to herself. She started to bend forwards as she looked back at the man, her purple eyes glittering with mirth as she lifted the bottom of the kimono and revealed her bare pussy to the man.
"You really are a semen demon." Natsu chuckled softly as he slowly approached her, watching as the woman spread her lower lips with two fingers and started to rub her entrance with her middle finger.
"I can't help it, Master~." Seilah purred as she started dipping her finger into her hole. "When I'm near you, I can't help to become horny. Your powerful aura is so intoxicating~."
The demonic dragon slayer pressed his hips against the demoness, forcing the finger three knuckles deep into her pussy and earning a moan from her. He pulled back slightly to allow Seilah to draw her finger out halfway before he drove it back in with a hefty thrust.
"Oh Master~!" She moaned softly as Natsu's hot hand slid up her stomach, over her large breasts and onto her neck. He started to lightly clamp down on her neck, not enough to block her airways fully but just enough to make her feel a little bit of fear, giving her a rush of adrenaline and heightening all of her senses. "Oh Master~!"
Natsu kissed along the woman's shoulders until he reached her neck where he slowly sank his fangs into her skin, he grinned as he felt the woman shake and shudder under him. "You like that, don't you, my little demoness?"
"Yes~." Seilah cooed as she arched against the man's chest, pushing her ass firmly against his crotch.
Natsu slowed down his thrusts slightly, giving the woman enough time to pull her finger free of her body. He felt her start to fumble blindly with his pants, trying to free his cock from its prison.
The horny demon grinned as she managed to grab a hold of Natsu's thick member and pulled him inside of her pussy. She groaned deeply as the man pushed all the way into her.
The salmon-haired man pulled the cups of her dress down over her tits and grabbed the fleshy mounds firmly as he moved his hips slowly, easing out soft moans from the demon.
At the sound of a third set of knocks on the front door, Ikaruga came down from her room in a light pink towel. As she passed the kitchen she looked inside and shook her head as a dusting of pink graced her cheeks. "Have you no shame?" Her eyes lingered on the two demons activity before she hurried over to the front door. The swordswoman opened the door and Millanna and Kagura waiting patiently on the other side. "I'm sorry for the wait, it seems the other two are preoccupied with each other."
Kagura blinked at the woman and narrowed her eyes. "Aren't you that assassin, Ikaruga?"
"Hmm, you must be Simon's little sister." Ikaruga crossed her arms under her bust and tilted her head, not really caring either way. "Yes, I am Ikaruga but I'm not the one from this world. I was saved by Natsu when my version of the Tower of Heaven fell. He healed me and took me here."
"And now you have gone against your old ways and am one of the good guys now?" Kagura asked sceptically as she rested her hand on the pommel of her sword.
"No, I'm not one of the 'good guys' as you say. I work with Natsu, not Fairy Tai." The swordswoman just waved off the non-verbal threat as she stepped out of the doorway. "Well, you came all the way out here so you might as well come in. Just avoid the kitchen for now, unless you feel up for an orgy."
Millianna's cat ears immediately perked up at the news, she started to take off towards the kitchen but was instantly bonked on the head with a sheathed Archenemy. "Ow! Kagura!"
"As much as I'd love to be pierced by Natsu's sword, we aren't here to be bent over."
"What about riding the dragon?" Millianna suggested as she started to edge towards the moans once more.
"Help me with her…" Kagura mumbled as she grabbed one of Millianna's arms and dragged her to the lounge with the help of the other swordswoman.
Ikaruga freed herself from her towel and used it to tie the cat-girl's wrists and ankles together. "I'm going to get dressed. Give those two a bit and Natsu will be free. As long as they don't go for multiple rounds."
"Could I please have some tea?" Kagura asked as she shot a glance over at the naked pinkette. "I've got to keep an eye on Millianna or she'll get loose and interrupt Natsu's private time."
"Oh trust me, Seilah doesn't give a shit about privacy. She'll do it absolutely anywhere she can get away with it." The swordswoman shook her head in slight disappointment as she walked to the kitchen, moving past the two fucking demons and flicking the kettle on.
Seilah was being bent over the bench by Natsu who had started drilling away at her at a breakneck pace. Her eyes following the naked woman as a smirk graced her lips.
"Don't you dare, Seilah…" Ikaruga warned the demon, catching her smirk out of the corner of her eye and knowing full well that she was thinking about using Macro on her. "Kagura and Millianna are in the lounge. Once you two are done playing hide the sausage, you better go and show your faces. I'm going to get dressed."
"Aw~ come on Iki~." Seilah purred as she wiggled her ass. "Don't you want to play hide the sausage too~?"
"Yes I do, but I want him on my own." Grumbled the pinkette as she reached over and smacked the woman's ass, leaving a big red handprint on the horny demon who gasped in shock and delight. "I'll be back shortly. Hurry up and shoot her full of your cum so the damn succubus is satisfied, then we can actually attend to our guests."
Natsu glanced over at the sexually frustrated swordswoman and quickly wrapped an arm around her hips and brought her close to his side. He grinned at her narrowed eyes as she silently dared him to continue.
Ikaruga's resistances fell apart when Natsu's warm lips met her own. She groaned softly into his mouth and fought his tongue for dominance as she melted against his side.
"I've got a gift for you…" Natsu murmured against the woman's supple lips as he lightly nibbled on the bottom one with his fangs.
"If it's your cock, give it to me later."
"No." He chuckled softly as he took his hand off of Seilah's waist. A glow expanded from his palm as a box appeared from it. "It's a tea set that I thought you might like."
"Oh." The swordswoman's calm and cold demeanour vanished as her eyes brightened up. She took the box from the man and placed it on the bench and started to open it. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Seilah suddenly arch up as she mewled loudly and tensed up, the grunting from Natsu informed the pinkette that they had orgasmed together.
Seilah slumped onto the bench and groaned softly as Natsu's sizable cock was removed from her body. She huffed for a few moments before turning around and kneeling in front of the man as she got to work cleaning his member.
"Natsu, these are beautiful! Where did you get them from?" Ikaruga asked quickly as she glanced between him and the cup in her hands. "So well crafted."
"There is a shop in the market district that had them." Once Seilah had licked the evidence of their lovemaking off of his shaft and tucked his member back into his pants, Natsu grabbed the notepad stuck to the fridge and wrote the address of the shop down for Ikaruga. "There you go."
"I got to run up to my room to get dressed, but once I get back I'll use these right away." The woman was like a kid on Christmas as she raced upstairs.
Natsu looked down at the horned woman who just stared back with a sly smile while licking her lips. "Come on, let's go say hi."
Seilah fixed her kimono, making a show out of revealing her mouth-watering body to the man due to her lack of undergarments. She leaned in and kissed her master's jaw before retreating to the lounge, with Natsu on her heels.
"Hey Kagura and Milli." Natsu flashed the two women a fanged smile as he came around the couch. He instantly saw a tied up cat-girl and furled his eyebrows. "Why is she tied up?"
"Kitty wants cream!" Millianna grumbled loudly as she struggled to get out of the towel.
"I've got some cream~." The demoness purred slyly as she sat by the woman's head. "But it may take some licking to get to~."
'Oh hell yeah!'
Much to END's disappointment, Natsu lightly grabbed Kagura's wrist and lead her to the kitchen. "She's in a mood."
"It's a side effect." Kagura muttered as she glanced at the back of the couch, hearing a soft moan escaping Seilah's lips. "Turns out being turned into a cat-girl gave her some weird mental cycles. She's in a very horny mood right now and has been pining for you for close to a week."
"And you?"
"I won't lie… after feeling your touch, I have been craving it. But unlike Millianna, I can mostly live without it."
"Well, aside from visiting every now and then, there isn't much we can do about that." Natsu chuckled softly as he grabbed one of the teacups and started warming it up in his hands. "Plus we all have our own lives."
"I heard that Fairy Tail most likely won't be in the next Grand Magic Games?" The curious swordswoman asked as she heard hurried footsteps come down the stairs. Moments later a gust of magical cherry blossoms drifted into the room followed by the former assassin.
Natsu passed off the heated cup to the pinkette and started warming the next one. "Honestly, as fun as they are. There really isn't much point to us joining, except for viewer pleasure. It's not always great having the same big-name guilds win over and over, yeah it breeds competition between guilds and makes them work to become stronger. But then it widens the divide between us and the smaller guilds."
"Where is Seilah and the cat?" Ikaruga threw over her shoulder as she took the cup from Natsu's hands and replaced it with the teapot. "Heat this up for me, I'd rather it warm so it doesn't cool the tea while it brews."
"Milli wanted some cream, and Seilah was all too happy to give her the cream she had." Natsu replied with a slight smirk. "So they are currently on the couch."
"Great, as if an unbelievably horny demon wasn't enough, now we have to deal with an equally horny cat-girl."
"Millianna is unfortunately… in heat." Kagura sighed as her shoulders slumped in defeat. "She was very excited to visit Fairy Tail, in more ways than one… She isn't normally this bad."
"Here you go." Natsu returned the teapot to Ikaruga and brought up his archive magic once again to view more of Levy's inventions and notes. "She's been busy while I've been away."
"Anything interesting?" Asked Kagura as she rested her elbows on the bench and placed her head on her hands.
"A few things: technical manuals, weapon maintenance manuals, notes on places she has scouted, data from scans of various industrial equipment, operation manuals for weapons and vehicles from across numerous universes with varying levels of technological advancement…" Natsu shot a glance at the woman beside him. "She's been very busy, makes me wonder how long she has actually been here. Though there are some notes of time dilation between various universes, she theorises that time moves at varying speeds, like how one week here could be half a week somewhere else. Yet we perceive time in one dimension at a singular speed, hmm I should probably check with some and see just how long time has gone by here."
"I could tell you how long it has been since you visited our guild."
"No, that won't work… I'd get a better idea if I know how long from roughly the time I left. Thanks though."
"Tea is done." Ikaruga announced as she placed a cup each in front of them while carrying the teapot and three more cups on a tray. "Hopefully those two horndogs are finished sharing Natsu's cum."
"Only one way to find out." Natsu grinned at the pink-haired swordswoman as he walked past with his cup and saucer in hand. He led the way back to the lounge where the trio found Millianna unbound and both women sitting up and watching TV. "Looks like they are done."
"Oh thank Kami…" Kagura murmured quietly as she settled down in a seat by herself.
"So, besides Milli wanting to be fucked, what brings you all the way out here, Kagura?" Asked the Dragon Slayer as he eased down onto the couch next to Seilah. "It'd have to be something more than the kitty's lust since you both came here."
"I wanted to check if you were ok. We hadn't heard anything from you since you dropped by, even though we contacted the guild. We had even dropped by one time when we had a job over this way that finished late at night." The noble-looking swordswoman explained between sips of tea. "When we visited your guild they told us that you were still over in Natsumi's universe and hadn't come back just yet, though you made sure to check in from time to time."
"Yeah, sorry, I was focused on getting them prepared for the dangers that may await them. And I am glad that I did because that turned into a shit show."
"Yeah." Kagura nodded slowly, her eyes focused on the demonic man. "I watched that recording. I didn't know that you could be that dark."
"I was getting sick of shit, I had warned the Princess but she didn't listen, I convinced her a little but it didn't matter. So I was pissed off going into the dungeon but kept it internalised until the fight with the Executioners." Natsu grumbled softly and placed the teacup and saucer onto the coffee table. "So I ended that fight as quickly as I could while also trying to blow off my anger. Turns out it didn't work that well because when I saw that Future Rogue I became seething with rage from the memory of Lucy dying, which aligned me with my demonic side as we both wanted to slaughter him. And well, you saw how that went."
"I think it was well called for." Ikaruga chimed in, her mouth curling at the corning into a small smile. "Sometimes examples must be made. Hisui didn't heed your warnings, she was coerced into releasing dragons on the country which lured the King of Dragons to the battlefield. You did well to execute the man responsible, and showed that idiot who she should have trusted."
"I agree, Master." Seilah added as she placed a hand on the man's thigh. "He tried to pin it on you at the end of it, yet no one expected you to be as powerful as you are. If you wanted to destroy everything, you'd be more than capable enough to do it with your own two hands."
"I know. I have no regrets about killing that fucker. He had to die, we needed everyone focused on the job of killing dragons or at the very least hold them off until I got there."
"Why didn't you kill him instantly?" Millianna asked curiously as she crawled across Seilah's lap and planted herself squarely onto Natsu's lap. "It would have been quicker and could have prevented the Gate from opening."
"I wanted him to suffer. I needed to make him suffer, for killing Lucy." The Demon's eyes instantly shifted to a deadly red as his anger caused his demonic energy to lash out in a suffocating wave of dark power. He quickly calmed down and shook his head softly. "But that matter has been put to rest. What have you two been up to since we last saw each other?"
"Training, doing jobs, trying to keep Millianna from rubbing herself against everything to get off…" Kagura deadpanned, she sighed and placed the teacup down. "Anyway, my reason for coming here is because I've been craving a fight with you. Ever since I taught you and you gave me the best fight of my life, I've been itching to have another swing at you."
"Well, why don't we skip the pleasantries and take this outside?" Natsu chuckled as he too placed the cup down. "Up you get Milli."
"Aww…" With a great amount of mumbled complaints and a lot of effort on her part, Millianna slowly moved from Natsu's lap and returned to her spot on the other side of Seilah. "We'll be here, enjoying the tea."
"Where is your sword, Natsu?" Kagura asked as she grabbed Archenemy and rose to her feet.
"I have it stored in my requip dimension. In places where I may be robbed of Magic, or can expect combat at any moment, I tend to keep on me physically." A bright light shot out from Natsu's closed left fist as he got off the couch and headed for the front door. "I do have a few things to tell you about the sword too."
"You found out more about it?!" Kagura half-shouted, her surprise causing her cool façade to shatter as her eyebrows shot up. "Tell me!"
Natus chuckled as the light faded, revealing Durandal and its new metal sheath. "We'll talk more outside, it'd probably be too boring for the others, save for Ikaruga but she already knows."
The swordswoman eagerly scrambled after the man and followed him out to the clearing beside his house where he stood waiting for her, sword drawn and the spine of the long black blade resting across his shoulders.
"Where should I start, the name or the ability?"
"Name first."
"Durandal." Natsu grinned as he pointed the tip of the blade at the woman. "Curiously, it happened to tell me this when I activated it using my blood."
Kagura tilted her head slightly as she closed the gap between them, moving alongside the sword and slowly running her fingers along the flat of the blade. "Like the mythical sword?"
"I can only assume so, maybe the souls that reside inside this sword knew of the myth and decided to become the embodiment of it."
"You mean…?" The swordswoman glanced from the sword to the wielder. "It can cut anything?"
"Pretty much, it runs on my will though. The harder something is to cut the more willpower is needed. For example, cutting through dimensional walls requires a lot more focus and force than cutting through standard space."
"What about time?"
"When I fought Dimaria back in the war, that time I lost control, I was able to smash through her little time bubble with sheer power." Nastu lowered his sword and thought it over. "If theoretically possible, I would probably only be able to cut forwards in time and not backwards. And even then, it's a very complicated situation."
Kagura moved back and drew her sword. "Well, let's see how it handles in combat?"
"It handles very well, Kagura." Natsu laughed as he took the initiative and launched at the woman, crossing blades with her.
Sparks flew from the clashing metal as snow crunched under their feet. Both mages moving in unison as their swords sang through the cold winter air.
The salmon-haired man's grin slowly grew, he could tell that Kagura had been working hard. Her blows seemed to come harder and faster than when they last fought during his training.
Kagura had Natsu on the defensive, his attacks coming less frequently as she employed more and more of her new skills.
"Damn, Kagura." Natsu laughed as the two danced around the clearing. "I wasn't expecting you to make this much of a gap between us."
"I had a long time to train, and motivation too. You caught up to me so quickly and it made me realise just how much I need to improve."
"Well, how about I through a wrench into the works." The man chuckled as his sword emitted a red energy and he dashed forwards, slicing through the air and following through the opened rift. Natsu quickly exited behind the swordswoman and swung the blade up and around the woman's arms with the spine resting against her chest. "Pretty cool, huh?"
Kagura turned her head to look at the man as a small smile graced her lips. "That's very convenient." The purple-haired woman leant back against his chest and brought a hand up to his cheek. "You win, you caught me off guard and now I can't retaliate." They both put their weapons away but Kagura stayed resting up against the man's chest, soaking in his warmth.
"We need to properly test each other out soon, see how far we've come." Natsu suggested as he placed Durandal on his back and snaked his arms around the woman's waist. "But it'll have to be some other time, I need to show my face at the Guild."
"I'll round up the girls then and meet you here." Kagura replied quietly as she turned in the man's arms and placed a small kiss on his cheek. "We won't be long."
The salmon-haired man let the woman head back to the house as he walked over to the edge of the hill where it looked over Magnolia. A thought popped into his mind and he brought out the rifle that Levy had given him, it was definitely far different to what he had seen before save for some of the things out in the wasteland. Natsu shouldered the rifle and looked down the scope. "Holy shit…" He murmured softly as his vision was magnified. He checked over the dials on the scope and found one with increments of magnification, and with a slow twist of the knob the range of his sight extended further. "I gotta give this baby a real go!"
He was so focused on the rifle that he didn't notice the girls had come out until there was a tap on his shoulder. The man looked over his shoulder and blinking at the women, with Kagura being at the forefront. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention."
"We're all ready." Millianna informed the man, giving him a kind smile.
"Alright, we'll take the quick way." Natsu said as he sent the gun away and drew his sword. It surged with red energy as Natsu swung it through the air, slicing a pathway through space to the guild. He took the lead and stepped through the rift, appearing in the middle of the guild as a fist flew right at him. Natsu spun around and drove his heel into the side of the blonde attacker, sending him flying into a wall.
The Guild Hall was in a state of chaos once again, and the group of mages had emerged right in the thick of it. The two Mermaids moved off towards their own guild members and the majority of Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus who were sat on the second level, watching the carnage below.
A grin slowly spread across Natsu's face, something had felt lacking when he returned from his Century quest. The guild had lost some energy, but it seemed like they had found it once again and the piece that was missing for him had slotted into place. His drive for battle took over as the man immersed himself in the all-out brawl.
Fists and feet flew in from every angle as Natsu waded through the battle, bodies launched through the crowd and collided with others either under their own power or by assisted take-off. Natsu's back slammed up to another's, the scent was familiar. "Hey there, Gajeel! Who started the party?"
"Would you believe me if I said it was Wendy?!" The man yelled back as he sent of an iron pole arm straight into a line of mages. "I think one of the Sabres who said something to her that made her flip out!"
"Whelp, how about we kick it up a notch?" The demonic dragon slayer grinned over his shoulder at his kin. He ignited his fists and launched towards the closest combatant.
The two dragon slayers stayed near each other as they moved in sync with the other, gliding around each other's swings to attack another target.
A flash of twin blue tails flashed past Natsu then darted back to the group, forming a triangle with the two men. "Heya Natsu, how do you like the party?"
"You threw this for me? Feels like my birthday!" The pinkette laughed as a wind coated fist sailed over him and collided with someone attacking from Natsu's side. "Nice save, Wendy!"
"Something was missing from the guild!" Wendy explained as she backed up into the triangle. "It seemed to have lost its soul. I realised that it was because you weren't here starting fights."
"Honestly, I thought I was past that myself, but since I was over with Natsumi's group I realised that nothing beats a good old fistfight!" Natsu replied as he glanced at the woman. "Looks like you've had some practice with my techniques!"
Bursts of magic flew all around the ground floor, breaking tables and sending bodies flying. The brawl had escalated to a full-on warzone with the battle-hungry dragon slayers around the room demonstrating their combative talents.
"THIS IS MANLY!" Roared Elfman as he charged through a group of mages in what seemed to be the Full Takeover version of his Iron Bull arm, the man was a hulking mass of metal in the shape of a Minotaur and was barrelling through hordes of mages. "MANLY STAMPEED!"
"Yeah. While you were gone I was practising with Erza, figured that with all of your fighting with her that she'd have a good grasp on how you fight!" Wendy replied over the ever louder battle. Both she and Natsu quickly ducked as an Iron Pole swept over their heads like a giant baseball bat and send Max careening into the broom cupboard. "Turned out I was right!"
"I wouldn't be surprised, I used to fight her a lot!" Natsu chuckled and melted a flock of Ice Sparrows that tried to dive-bomb him. "Do you know if Ultear is anywhere here?"
Wendy jerked her head towards the second floor where the Time Mage stood watching the carnage in awe. "Yeah, she's upstairs!"
"Basically this is the fighting pit and those are the spectators. Gihi, how about we put on a show?" Gajeel called out as he dived between the two dragon slayers and tackled Dobengal from Sabretooth to the ground and started laying into the ninja.
"You heard the man!" Natsu grinned to the blue-haired woman next to him before leaping into the fray and going on the offensive. He flew through their air towards the rampaging Strauss, his fists blazing with fire. "HEY, BIG GUY! HEADS UP!"
Elfman swung around and drove a large fist out at the salmon-haired man, only for the smaller and more nimble dragon slayer to vault over the mass of metal and sail over the beast's head before grabbing the bull by the literal horns and using his momentum to wrangle the beastly man to the floor with a deafening crash.
With inhuman strength, a widely grinning Natsu wrenched the transformed mage around and used his large metal body as a weapon, smashing him into the other combatants and sending them flying through the air.
'Fuck Yeah! Now This Is My Kind Of Party!' END cheered loudly from within Natsu's head. 'All we're missing is some music!'
Natsu let Elfman go and launched him across the room into a skirmish between some Lamia Scale members and a few of the Mermaids, scattering them like bowling pins.
A shriek of an electric guitar shook the building to the core, a quick glance at the stage showed that Mira had dressed up like a punk rocker and had started to shred a guitar and screaming like a banshee down the microphone. A few members of the other guilds joined her on stage, providing their expertise on the drums, bass, and other instruments with some providing backup vocals.
The atmosphere of the guild morphed from bar brawl to full-blown mosh pit as the spectators started to chant "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" loudly as the fighting became even bloodier. The healers will have their work cut out for them once it is all over.
The mages who couldn't handle the new level of brutality retreated to the second floor to spectate the fighting, joining in with the chanting while throwing tables, chairs and other things that could be used as makeshift weapons down into the all-out brawl.
A bolt of black lightning raced through the jumbled mass of mages as it tracked its target, bearing right down on a blonde dragon slayer. The large man charged his fist with his own lightning and back-handed the black lightning off to his side, sending it arcing through the air. Laxus smirked as he shouted over the loud din of combat. "Try Harder, Orga!"
A roar of pain shot out from halfway in the brawl as another dragon slayer got hit with the stray bolt of lightning. "LAXUS YOU FUCKING CUNT!" Bellowed Natsu as the black lightning arced through his body. It destroyed his coat which left him in a formfitting red sleeveless shirt and semi-baggy black pants. "WATCH WHERE YOU SEND THOSE FUCKING SPELLS!"
"Don't get in the way then, Natsu!" Laxus shouted back as he launched towards Orga like a bolt of lightning.
Natsu bit his tongue to rein himself in, his eyes shifting to red as the lightning wreaked havoc on the nerves throughout his body. His aura burst forth as he activated his Dual Elemental mode, dispelling the electricity in his body and giving him a brief respite.
The people around the demonic dragon slayer immediately started backing away, his bloodthirsty and battle-hungry grin unsettling them.
The floor beneath the man's feet exploded as he launched through the crowd, quickly gaining on the bolt of magical lightning that was Laxus as they both neared the god slayer Orga Nanagear.
A hand roughly grabbed the large blonde man by the hair and wrenched him around. Laxus got a brief glimpse of a fanged demonic grin before he was thrown full pelt into Orga. The force of the throw sent both hulking men flying through the air and into the far wall with lightning arcing off the two of them.
"Oh, I'm sorry Laxus!" The demonic man smirked as he crossed his arms smugly and shut down his mode. "You got in the way!"
Twin bursts of power erupted halfway across the guild as two pillars of mixed black and white powers rose up through the crowd. Mere moments later, the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth appeared behind the man from the shadows, both covered in white and black dragon force scales, and were ready to attack.
Natsu spun around and leapt back into the air to avoid the simultaneous attack from the two powerful mages, fire busting from his back as he sprouted his wings and activated his own dragon force. "Nice try, but you have to be faster."
"Alright. How about you try this on for size?!" A grinning Sting shouted as he and Rogue each powered up a Holy Shadow Nova.
"First we'll get back that win from the Games that you claimed, then we'll go and get Gajeel's victory over me sorted out." Rogue said calmly as both dragon slayers launched towards the flying demon.
"Fire Dragon's…" Balls of fire engulfed Natsu's fists as he raised them above his head, fusing them together in a large ball of fire. "Brilliant Flame!"
As the distance closed between the trio and the spells surged towards each other, the three mages were blindsided by a giant fist smashing down on top of them and slamming them to the floor. Makarov had finally decided to step in. "ENOUGH! Any further and you risk blowing up the damn building!"
"Alright, alright." Natsu chuckled as the fist was removed from the three dragon slayers. All three powered back down and rose to their feet. "Sorry, Master."
"Now, all of you cut the crap! You've destroyed enough." The old man sighed and looked up the second floor. "Ultear, could you please use your magic on everything that was broken."
"Sure. It was very entertaining to watch though." Ultear smiled as she gazed down at the winged dragon slayer.
"It sure was, Little Sister~." Meredy giggled as she took one of her frequent jabs at her friend slash technical mother. "Go help sort them out, Erik was causing some of that damage after all."
The Time mage sighed at the woman's continued antics and insistence that she was now older and more mature. Ultear started to work her magic, rewinding the trashed hall back to how it before the fight had begun.
"Alright. If anyone is seriously injured move to the centre of the ground floor where you'll be healed."
Meanwhile, Natsu slipped out of the room and headed down the stairs to the sub-basement floors. As he neared Levy's workshop he heard jazz music and the short blunette muttering to herself about noise, vibrations, and delicate operations. The man quietly opened the door and found the woman tentatively using tweezers on a device she was working on.
"Come on you little fucker, slot into place…" She murmured before a soft click emanated from the small device. Levy slumped back in her chair as she let out a deep breath. "Fucking finally."
"Watcha working on?" Natsu asked as he walked over to a console near her workbench, glancing down at the device as he brought up the holographic screen.
"It's something to solve the issue of not having the ability to use magic in universes that seem to block our output of magic."
"So like the wasteland, where I couldn't use my magic or curses?" The memory of plummeting gods knows how far down into that dam's reservoir was still fresh and forefront in his mind. It caused him to scowl at the screen for a moment before shaking the thought from his head.
"It's to fix the magic issue, yes." Levy replied as she went back to fiddling with the device. She was looking through a magnifying so she could see the parts better. "I believe the curse issue was more of a mental block, you tried your magic and panicked when nothing happened. Either that or you were already in that mindset before going in."
"Did you give that rifle I found to Bisca?" Natsu asked as he moved over to one of the mobile workbenches and placed his armour down onto it. "The one that I found alongside the armour."
"Yeah, I made it compatible with the surplus Longshot ammo we have and gave it to her. That's why I gave you that new one I found, figured you'd get better use out of that one."
"Thanks Levy." The Eyebot drifted past the man, playing jazz music through its speakers. He reached out a hand and gave the bot a little flick, causing it to shoot across the room while emitting a whirring sound which made Natsu chuckle. "So, I've been meaning to ask. How long was I gone for?"
"Jessie." Levy turned on her stool to face the source of music. "Check the logs for when was Natsu last in my workshop."
"Yes Ma'am." Jessie replied. It momentarily stopped the music while it ran back through the database.
"It talks now?" Levy must have gotten some new parts while he was gone. He turned to the woman with a semi-surprised look plastered on his face.
"I scrapped a Mr Handy that I found floating around in the Boston Wasteland. Pulled all the parts, worked out how they all worked, then made them smaller. Once I tested it I stuck it inside Jessie here and now it can be more useful." Levy explained proudly, smiling brightly at her handiwork. "Unfortunately I'm still stumped on figuring out its lift producing mechanisms. Oh, I also converted it to use the magic capacitor and battery system found in the vehicles I designed."
"Ma'am. Natsu's last logged appearance in the workshop was two months and ten days ago. Any further orders?"
"Resume previous task, Jessie." Levy replied as she turned back towards the salmon-haired man. The robot started to play jazz once more as she smiled smugly at him. "So, why'd you ask?"
"I spent about three and a half months over there, Levy." Natsu sat on the edge of the desk and crossed his arms. This proved what he had wondered while he was gone. "So the different universes are not synced in time. Interesting…"
"I had wondered that myself." Levy replied idly as she brought up her travel logs and sent the holographic screen over to the man. "As you can see, in some of those logs my Departure and Arrival times don't match up with the time I spent traveling. The second I leave, I set a timer that counts how long I've stayed in the world and I record what I do in the world. When I get back I compare the times with the workshop's logs, and I've noted a few discrepancies."
"So it seems like time for us here is a straight line, since we can only perceive it at one speed. A few talented people can detach themselves from time but they'll always need to return after a short amount of time in their little pocket of time." The man gazed at the ceiling for a moment as he ran through his thoughts. Deciding it was best to write them down, he dragged over another screen and began recording them. "I guess time is not linear like we think it is, but winds like a river. So, in theory, the different universes will sometimes be faster and other times be slower than our home universe. And we have no way of knowing just how much time has passed in them without regular check-ins…"
"Until I can work out some way of tracking the flow of time in the other universes, yeah, we'll have to check-in and let them know what we found out."
"I know we can make contact with Natsumi's universe easily. We can call her directly providing we give it enough time for her to get home and find the mobile." The man saved his notes and closed the window. He pushed off the desk and moved over to the blunette. "The only issue would be getting into contact with Dragneel's people. Last I heard he was relaxing and wanted to check out the games but we decided it would be too dangerous for Natsumi's guild for him and me to be in the same place at the same time. I'm not even going to try and contact that Romeo who stopped by, I don't have the slightest clue where he'd be."
"Not to mention, with time moving at different paces, who knows what is happening over in Dragneel's universe. For all we know it could be fucking all-out war there." Levy turned back to the device she was working on and started adding more parts to it. "Now that you're home, what are your plans?"
"Aside from trying out some of your inventions. I need to practice with that Vintorez Rifle and get my eye dialled in on it, will get Bisca's help with that. Help you with finding any tech or parts you need. I need to go on a mission with my team, been too long." Natsu listed off as he glanced around for some form of paint as an idea for an addition to his armour popped into mind.
"I have an expedition coming up in the next few days, if you would like to join me on it?" Levy asked, sparing a glance over her shoulder at the man as he busied himself with the armour. "It's another Apocalypse type area but as far as I can tell, it has no connection to that of the one dubbed Fallout. The other option is we take a foray into an Edolas set before that Mad King destroyed it."
"We should check out that Apocalypse one first, maybe we'll find some good stuff there." Natsu replied as he held the chest plate up and inspected his handiwork. On the left breast of the armoured plate, the man had written RONIN followed by 129-G underneath, both in the military-styled text he came across during his short time in Sera. "I'll leave my armour here with you, I'm sure you have upgrades you want to do to it?"
"Yeah, I've got a few things I picked up. Plus I need to rig up this device to the armour and see if I can get it powered up."
"What exactly does it do?" Natsu asked curiously as he placed the armour back down and walked over to Levy's side. He gazed down at the work-in-progress device and narrowed his eyes as he tried to make sense of it.
"It's an emitter system. I'm designing it to create a repulsion field that should hopefully allow the use of magic, if it doesn't then I'll come up with a new idea. And if that doesn't fucking work then I'll try the fuck again."
"Sounds like this isn't the first iteration…"
"Was it that fucking obvious?" Levy complained as her shoulders slumped, she hooked her index finger into the neck of her light-blue singlet and waved it a bit to push some air down into it. "No, it's the third try at this. I can't show you the other devices as I cannibalised them for parts to create their successors." She sighed and hopped off her stool, making her way across the room and through a back door that wasn't there the last time Natsu had been in the workshop. "Come, I want to show you something."
Natsu followed the woman through the door and found himself in a small vehicle workshop that had an alcove at the back. It looked like a lift to take things up to the surface. A cursory glance around the room showed that Levy had erected a spray booth in the corner of the room and two post vehicle hoist in another corner.
"This is where I created the prototype for those vehicles you saw up on the surface." Levy informed the man as she wiped her hands on her small shorts. "Once we get our hands on one of those cars from Edolas, we'll bring it here and I'll start pulling apart so I can see how it ticks." She came to a stop in the middle of the vehicle wing of her workshop and turned to face the man with her hands on her hips. "While the generator slash battery system I developed is good for personal transportation, it's not efficient enough for larger vehicles like aircraft and watercraft. Hauling goods on that scale would require more power, and the current iteration of my Magic Motors is not efficient enough to operate them without drawing substantial amounts of ambient magic."
"So you are hoping that the lacrima fuel from Edolas would be the key to create larger powered vehicles?"
"I hope to use the world's natural energy to create volatile lacrima that can hopefully be refined into combustible lacrima fuel." The woman sighed and summoned a holographic screen with a quick gesture. She sent it over to the man and pointed to the screen. "That's my notes on the subject. I'm going to try and create fire lacrima from the intense thermal energy found in volcanos, that's how I'm going to make that volatile lacrima fuel."
"Well, if you don't make fuel from it, at least you've probably made a volatile liquid explosive."
"Hmm… Maybe volatile was the wrong word to describe what I want to make…" Levy murmured as she gazed around at the prototype of her motor car that sat on display near the elevator platform. "Though I suppose if used incorrectly then it could be considered volatile…" She shook her head and focused on the salmon-haired man. "Anyway, before I can do any of this, I need to go to Edolas and get my hands on one of their cars, preferably one of the more powerful ones."
"Should we test that device of yours in Edolas then?" Natsu suggested. He walked over to the prototype vehicle and started having a poke around it. "I'm more than certain that pill that Mystogan gave me years ago would have worn off by now."
"Sure, just give me a few days to finish this device and find a suitable location for the expedition." The woman almost started bouncing with how giddy she was feeling inside but it was quickly brought to a stop when she remembered just how fucking finicky and annoying these devices have been to create. "Maybe a little more than a few days…"
"Well, if you need me I'll either be here at the guild or at my house. Can't go on a job until Erza gets back since I want my full team." The man started up the motor carriage and was surprised at how quiet it was. He could hear the rotation of parts but nothing else, it also emitted no smell at all bar the smell of lubricants. "Damn Lev, you did fucking fantastic with this thing."
"Well, I managed to get Hisui to commit resources to produce these or convert original SE-Plug cars. And I'm not exactly a saleswoman." Levy chuckled softly and walked over to the man. "Want to go for a spin?"
"Damn right I do!" Natsu grinned and climbed into the seat. "Doesn't offer much in the way of protection from the elements…"
"I can only work with what I have available, which unfortunately were the original magic vehicles." The small blunette replied as she climbed up and placed herself on Natsu's lap since he was behind the stick and she couldn't be fucked telling him to move the fuck over. "Try not to poke me in the ass too much, would you?" Levy stuck the vehicle into drive and coasted it over to the elevator. "Can you hit the up button on that elevator panel with your Macro for me?"
The button clicked and the elevator whirled to life, pushing them up as doors opened above them. The two mages emerged from the ground behind the hall itself. Levy waited for the platform to stabilise before pushing down on the accelerator with her right foot. "This prototype has only got the one gear and goes by how far you have pushed the pedal in for how fast it goes. The production model uses a geared system with three pedals; Accelerator, Brake, and Clutch which engages and disengages the gear system so you can shift gears without damaging the mechanics. I used the naming convention which I found very common among more advanced universes. Well, the names and some of the schematics for their Transmissions, that's what they call the system to shift the gears."
"Why didn't you get the engines from them?" Natsu asked curiously. "Wouldn't that make things easier?"
"The fuel-based ones were pretty dirty, and technically I made those electric-based ones with this prototype but without the need for charging up since it runs on the ambient magic energy of the world. It may not seem all that magical when compared to Edolas, but our world actually does have natural magic." Levy looked up at the man as she explained herself. She pulled the prototype out onto the street and drove it about the town. "However, to make powerful cars like the electric ones I found in other worlds, we'd have to progress further technologically or at the very least find the materials here in our world to create them. It would be easier to convert natural energy to lacrima, then refine that into combustible lacrima-based fuel, which when put through specially built combustion engine should produce enough power to power vehicles from personal transport, to logistics vehicles, and even ships."
"You said the fuel-based ones were dirty, what makes lacrima-fuel different?"
"The emission is magic itself, theoretically, when you ignite the fuel it will combust as fire lacrima does but with enough force to turn an engine, geared through a transmission and propel the vehicle with ease. And what comes out the back will be no different to you creating fire from your natural magic reserves."
"Ok, but movement build friction, what will be used to lubricate the vehicle?"
"The lubricants already exist, and they are also lacrima-based. It's what is currently used in the machines to keep friction and wear to a minimum." Levy replied with a slight chuckle. She placed his hand on the control stick and moved up on his lap to allow him to use the pedals. The blunette threw a teasing grin back at Natsu as she was keenly aware of something hard pressing against the soft flesh off her ass. "Stop poking me in the fucking ass~."
"Shush, or I'll be sure to poke deeper." He replied without hesitation. "Back on topic, so if these lubricants were burnt in the process of running the engine. It will still just emit natural magic once again?"
"Well, that's if it even transforms back into magic or possibly it depends on how efficient the combustion process is. Maybe it won't burn one hundred percent of the fuel going in, and some of it will exit the vehicle as vapour which disperses into ambient magic. If that is the case then it could be reused by the vehicles that run on ambient magic."
"Well, we won't know until we find out." Natsu put his foot down and start racing down the street while he grinned like a madman. Losing his motion sickness definitely made his life a hell of a lot better. "I reckon we need to find a suitable testbed though, something with a fully enclosed cabin, like Edolas had except something a little sexier."
"I think we'll have to have a look around the advanced universes, but nothing too advanced as I don't think I'll be able to do much in the way of making them work with our technology."
"Do you think we should do that before or after you get your device sorted out?"
"You know what? Let's do it beforehand, maybe then it would serve as a decent fucking motivational device for me to get my fucking arse into gear."
"Alright, I'll start taking us back to the guild then so we can stick this back in the workshop."
Here's another one done and dusted. I'm starting to get back into the swing of things now, so hopefully the next chapter won't be far off. Some of the groundwork has been laid out so it's just a matter of deciding what I want to happen in it. Not really following any rhyme or reason when writing beyond knowing what I want to occur, I essentially just play it by ear and hope it turns out well. I still have the thing I want to do with thehappy, something we discussed a while back and that I said would happen post-GMG arc. I just need to work out how to initiate it though I have one idea in mind… Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed this chapter. If you have anything you'd like to share about the story then feel free to review, ideas are welcome I just need to work out how to best factor them into the story. Don't forget to follow/favourite if you haven't already, if you've gotten this far then I'm guessing you would have already done that, if not then you can do it to keep up to date with future chapters. And if you are looking for something else of mine to read, then I have another story called The Agency: Tale of Agent Salamander, currently at the time of writing this Natsu and a small team of agents will be heading to Galuna Island to investigate a cult that has taken residence in this demon inhabited island. If that sounds even a little bit interesting then pop on over and check it out, you can find it either by searching the title or by going to my profile. This is getting a bit long-winded so I'll wrap it up here, I'll see you all next time, stay healthy.
