Chapter Seven- Dinner time bonding
"Farina, why are you so hard on them? These kids been through hell and back at Willowbrooke, they're parents abandoned them, and worst, they want nothing to do with them. I understand you're not great with kids, but they need a god mother to spend time with. I'm going downstairs to cook dinner for them, I'll leave you alone to cool off and think this through." Larry said as he went downstairs to the kitchen.
Farina just sat on her bed thinking about what Larry said. She wanted to tell him what she found at work, but she decided to wait and get to know the kids better first. She decided to go downstairs and help him cook dinner.
"What did the kids want for dinner?" She asked him.
"What they asked for yesterday, fish sticks, cheeseburgers, fried chicken, etc. And Huey's a vegan so can you make him a salad?"
"Sure! Can I bring the food to them?"
"I'm not sure, the kids are still a little sad right now."
"Oh! Larry, I thought about what you said about the kids being kids, and me being their...godmother?"
"Mm-hmm?"
"I want to try it, and bond with them."
Larry just smiled at her. "That's the beauty of it." He said as he and Farina brought the food to the table where the kids are sitting, waiting for their food. The kids started eating so hungrily, Farina can't help but smile at them.
"Sooo...um..." Farina says as she starts a normal dinner conversation. "What was life like before y'all came here?"
"Same ol, same ol." Said Bobby H.
"Going to school sucks as per usual." Said Bart.
"I hate school too." Said Riley.
"Me too!" Cindy agreed.
"Teachers suck! Uh-huh-huh!" Said Butthead.
"Yeah! Hmm-hmm-heh!" Said Beavis.
"Ugh, don't get me started on the teachers, and principals. Louise said gruntly.
"I live in a freaking hotdog." Cartman said disappointingly. The kids looked at him confused.
"Why? What's wrong with going to school? School is good for education and making friends. That's where me and Farina met, in high school." Said Larry.
"Did you score with her? Uh-huh-huh. Butthead asked.
"I'm sorry...score what?" Larry asked, confused.
"Did you two like...do it? Hmm-hmm-heh." Beavis curiously asked.
The kids looked at each other in shock, and then at Larry and Farina who are red in the face.
"Um, do...what?" Bobby G asked curiously.
"BEAVIS, SHUT THE HELL UP! What kind of question is that to ask during dinner? Jesus!" Farina shouted.
"And I thought this conversation was getting kind of good...reeaal good." Rallo said with a smirk.
"Rallo, u nasty." Riley said as he chuckled.
"I know." Rallo replied.
"Kids, I have an important question for you all. Do y'all still miss your families?" Larry asked. Farina look at him from her plate, and then at the kids who looked really sad. They were silent for ten seconds before one of them answered.
"I do." Said Bobby G.
"I...still do." Said Bart.
"Me too." Said Bobby H. And then they all agreed.
"Do y'all wish you can be with them right now?" He asked again.
"Yeah!" They answered.
"I wish I could be with my grandad right now." Said Huey.
"Yeah!" Riley agreed.
"I still love my family, even though I continue to drove them crazy with my pranks, sabotaging my sister's science projects, and sending my dad to the hospital after he trips over my toys after I refuse to pick them up. But since they don't love me anymore, I will get use to living here with y'all." Said Bart.
"We're not foster children, Bart." Said Louise.
"Guys, your parents always loved you no matter what. You're never a burden to them, and you're never a mistake to them. Whatever those guards said to y'all, they lied to make y'all more miserable." Larry assumed.
Farina felt really bad, she didn't know what to do or say. After dinner, the kids went to sleep, Farina just laid in bed next to Larry who is asleep. Before she dozed off, she decided to tell Larry and the kids about the letters she found in the trash bin at work.
Will she tell them? And how will they react?
