Tohsaka Rin was a girl with a dream.

Some would call it plan, some would call it ambition, but Rin saw it was a dream due to its ethereal mysticism and absolute insanity. Many would agree to these two traits, but call it, reasonably so, a madness in the making. But Rin's Dream was not within reason, nor within logic- not with the same key many would expect the world and the multiverse to work.

Years of studying the things around her through the means of space and time have given her the opportunity to understand them in a way no one could ever hope to understand. The topic that, however, warranted the most attention was Stands and how they worked within the reality of things. Pucci had taught her many things through what Dio had been willing to partake when it comes to personal knowledge, and the 'tale' of the most infamous Stand Dio had ever encountered got her attention in an inclination the priest couldn't just get.

Stands were manifestation of the Souls... but also not. They were Anchors to the Divine and the Mystery, which is why some were able to attain levels of Stands that defied the metaphysical potential they held. Some even went BEYOND just that and exceeded in ABSOLUTE way. And Sakura's Stand, One Vision」 and its current version One Vision: Absolute」 were proof of that line of thought- it was a wonderful combination that, against Dio, would have easily won.

But Rin was not Dio, nor she deemed herself anywhere as sinful as the foolish vampire. No, Rin had gone beyond that principle by backtracking. Stands' evolutions stood in a manner that pushed the limits of one's soul into a divine region akin to the Root in terms of endless potential, but it was... limited by the truth of the Soul.

What is in a Soul that made the Divine freak out? Rin had learned the truth via her own studies, and had applied the knowledge in a way that made her currently broken knuckles a necessary price to kill her current opponent. But not instantly, not without an element of surprise. It was needed to avoid distractions, it was needed to prevent any potential escape from the truth.

Rin didn't like it, after all she was getting hurt trying to prove herself worthy of what she wanted to do. This was the moment she had looked for, and this monumental circumstance allowed her to slowly get close to the moment she so wanted- the evidence needed for her ultimate success.

Kujo Sakura was fighting without hesitation, and so was Rin- their Stands fighting harshly in a close skirmish, but only one ready to commit for the ultimate win. Why? Well, while her The World」 may look the same as Dio's, the truth was far more sinister. Stands tended to adapt when implanted on new individuals, and training to understand the principle of her own self allowed Rin to find the Resolution she needed to capture a victory.

Within the blink of an eye, what felt like a steady decline of her capacity to fight Sakura off turned in the key of her victory. She just uttered four words and the fight was over.

"The World: In Reverse」!"

Sakura realized too late what happened as the ensuing fist-bumps suddenly saw her Stand vanishing from sight and her nose bleeding as the feeling of a connection now cut short- There was one Stand remaining, and Rin didn't tell it to stop. The World: In Reverse」 pushed forward and then slammed both its fists on Sakura's exposed frame. True, the girl moved to block the punch aiming for her face and yet got her wrists broken, while the one aiming for her ribs struck true and had her cave before the blow.

The attack sent her flying and then slamming on the cold unforgiving floor of the sidewalk. Trembling, unfocused, the concussion definitely putting her out of commission as Rin advanced slowly, savoring the moment as her soul betrayed no intention. This was not her sister. This was not her family. This was not her future.

Kujo Sakura's death was the stepping stone to her own personal closure.

Shortsightness, yet, was the cause of many issues in the long run.

Rin forgot- or, better yet, decided to ignore the world around her while trying to cut off the last remaining element of her past. Numerous gems suddenly slammed on the side of her Stand, shifting fast and in a way that managed to catch The World」 off-guard. It was stunning that she forgot that, while Sakura was her sole worst enemy due to her Stand, the presence of that nuisance that was blond Shinji presented her alternate version a chance to strike.

To Rin, this was a painful irritation, but to the others it was a good distraction. And one that caught her by shock when she noticed that fast shadow owned by the large titan that was Berserker. Servants could be easily shrugged off... if they weren't actually monsters like Herakles. The World」 shifted and blocked the sword that struck her, but a large gash formed by her arms, cutting fairly deep before pushing her several meters away.

That would have been fine to deal with if not for the fact that a blindfolded woman manifested beside her and kicked her on the ribs- and right onto the wind-powered strike of Saber. Rin snarled, pain making her think less and react harshly more. But as she prepared to face them all at once, Pucci's words harshly struck her down the most.

"It would be best to delay a confrontation. Sure, Kujo Sakura is the main threat, but facing her now would be dangerous due to how many individuals are around her. She is not vulnerable enough."

And yes, she did neutralize Sakura's capacity to be a threat, but the cost she paid for it- the toll she had to live for the time being meant that her plans would have to be delayed for an extended amount of time. As much as it pained her to accept it, Rin's bloodied lips let out two mere words to bring an end to it all.

"T-The World」." Time stopped perfectly and her Stand shuffled fast to carry her to safety.

The bulky arms of the emotionless humanoid feeling familiar for just a moment, reminding her of someone she grew to respect and despise even now. But just for that moment, she was fine to feel at ease as she was brought to safety. Once they got back to the Tohsaka's manor, she was stunned to find Pucci waiting in the disheveled living room, one of the couches turned in a makeshift medical table as all sorts of tools and medicines were prepared for a rapid operation to fix her up.

She was going to make it, but some scarring was expected. And Pucci's silent eyes as he flatly helped her through that painful moment was far worse than being told 'I told you so' straight onto her face. Rin was upsetted by this, but said nothing and did nothing as he lost consciousness. She knew only one thing:

One Vision: Absolute」 was no more.
