Author's Note;
Jester; Hey friends got another long overdue update for you all. I'm sure by now many of you know the situation I was in last year. And seeing as I have a bit more stability I'm going to try to shoot for at least one chapter update bimonthly if I can. So if you don't see any updates for certain stories it's not that I abandoned them. It's that either another story line has my attention or I have the notes for another story fresh in my mind due to reading something or playing a video game I've been putting off. So with how weird and crazy real life has become I do hope some of you leave a review or comment about any of my stories. So without further delay let's read some comments. Thomaspheasant, oh there's a twist coming involving the hive but no spoilers. And again sorry for having you wait so long and thanks for your patience. xXwolfsterXx644, thanks for your patience friend and I hope this chapter makes up for the wait. LotusFury, unless I put a cancellation or hiatus on my stories they are still going. It's either A, I haven't worked up to continue the plotline. Or B, I have stuff in real life to deal with. Random guest, thanks for your concerns and sorry again for the long delay. Again real life stuff got in the way, from mental health, to my partner in writing crime Smiles moving back overseas. To also going into a new job scene so again thanks for your patience. Finally big thank you to everyone liking and following the story it means so much that you all are keeping the story alive in some way. Now without any more words please read on…
Dante's View
Exhaling slowly, I move through the cave system. Moving cautiously isn't what I want personally. But it's best to make sure that the painkillers or whatever kind of medical pain relief pill I took has time to take effect. Coming up from the cave I am in some kind of mild thicket with low trees and a good deal of shrubs. Making my way through the obstacles I'm shocked to see an old factory of some kind. It's clearly abandoned, the design however looks very human but it's clear none of the alien species I've interacted with knows what a human is. So how could these overgrown and rundown factory complexes look so familiar yet eerily different in small ways?
Staying within the obstacles heading to the factory entrance I keep low and in the shadows. Last thing I need is that sniper taking a shot at my other thigh. But thankfully a few improvised stitches and mild burns to close the wound helps with some of the bleeding. As I get close to the factory it's clear to see that the rain water is heavily muddy. But weighing through the water along the ground leading inside I can see and clearly smell the water is heavily polluted with something. With no other options I slide down a small sloop as the entrance draws near. However, I stop and stay ready. Why did the outlining sounds of the animals nearby stop? And just as I expected I'm under fire already. Sprinting through the sluggy water I kick up mud and polluted water to obscure my flanks as I go to the factory's entrance.
Third person's View
Dante quickly scrambles into cover as one of the armored apes from Septimos's gang opens fire on him from a mild cement incline. The ape screeches as it reloads a fresh clip into the assault rifle to once again open fire on the small cover Dante is hiding behind. Dante notes that the watery mixed slurry is about half way up to his shin. Pulling pieces of cement Dante waits for the ape to reload and throws several pieces of cement at the ape. Remembering how his father taught him to throw a baseball Dante puts plenty of power into a few good throws. Along with the aid of his cyborg arm that is.
People watching thinking at first Dante is desperate and now fighting for his life. Second, he ran out of bullets and now is just trying to find another way to escape. Or third trying to distract the ape long enough for him to just run away. But as the ape bats away another piece of cement Dante ducks behind a new piece of cement cover. The ape reloads after spraying the cover pissed at being pelted with the chunks of cement. Hearing Dante yelp the ape smirks but a loud crack and flash goes off besides him. The blaring flash and skin burning crack that went off next to the ape has everyone stunned. The ape now lying face down for some reason coughs and groans feeling hot skin burning pain along its side.
Blasted onto his face while still on the incline where he had the high ground above the slurry running water as shock finally hits the ape. The ape is horrified at seeing that half its body has been blown off. Dante coming around from the cement covering climbs the incline to pull the rifle free of the apes limp detached hand. Dante test fires the weapon to walk over and roll the ape. Dante pats down the ape even as it uses its weak hand to try and grab him. Dante simply raises the rifle to gun butt the ape across the jaw. The audiences watching are shocked as Dante takes the ape's bandolier with its ammo and another medical kit. Leaving the ape coughs again a few times as Dante walks off deeper into the old factory. As its vision blurs watching Dante grow further away the ape finally dies.
Disk rubs his face as he calls Septimos asking, "What kind of second rate crew did you bring with you Septimos? That mutie just took him down like he was a ten rate idiot." Septimos huffs telling Disk to watch and he calls his remaining crewmembers. The three apes now hearing of another one in their group being killed are pissed or confused at this odd mutant's skills.
Septimos growls but not loud enough for them to hear as he says, "I want you three to circle and make him bleed. Don't kill this mutant fast, make him suffer a slow death." Two of the apes rush to team up and kill Dante while the other chooses to hang back and take its time. Dante making his way through waist high slurry water hoping that the stuff doesn't affect him genetically. And well more importantly he just hopes his dick works and he won't have mutant kids when he returns to the hive.
Dante stops to shake his head a little thinking 'I've got to center my mind. Thinking about sex with a hive sister right now is not what I should be focused or worried about. But again I should clean myself properly after I get out of here.' Dante advances through the slurry to find some abandoned pipelines and other slurry rusted pipes. Climbing the stack of toppled pipes Dante walks along a rusted and shaky catwalk. Dante continues his travels through the ruined facility noting the old metal works like conveyer belt and large metal arms.
Dante stops in the shadows to think 'This place must have once been a mineral forging plant. But from how old these pipes are the water filters and pumps must have long since rusted away. Overflowing with left over metal waste and byproducts like this means this place made more than enough metal for export. And where the metal was being sent must have tapped whatever mine was here dry. Plus there could be a good chance for me to find those mines and escape down into them. But why does my hunch still feel off.' Still with a back up plan for a long term stay Dante feels worried about if he does flee deeper into this island. Whatever force brought him away from the hive will take much longer to send him back. Or worse he'll never be sent back to the hive.
Shaking his head again Dante's worries must wait until he's well and surely out of danger. Pushing his way into a rusted office Dante looks around the mold and slurry leaking room. Dante looks at a wall to see an odd logo made of metal wielded to the wall. It's a skull in form but cogs and gears surround it. And half of the skull's face seems to be representing some kind of face in metal form. Dante reaches into his skirt happily draws a sketch of the odd logo. Shaking his hands dry Dante begins to sketch the skull, and look around the room for readable documents he can try and gain more information from. And using the plastic container from the ape's medical kit to seal his papers inside without worry of them getting ruined.
Tucking away all the documents he can, Dante continues his advance deeper into the facility. Stepping slowly in a low tide pool like room Dante isn't sure which way he should go. But he gets his answer when from above the female ape drops down, throwing a knife into his foot. Dante raises the rifle as she tries to slash at him with a big machete like blade. But he pushes her back only for a small explosive to land at his feet. Dante hobble jumps away, losing the rifle for a moment before he crawls into cover. The female ape laughs while the other ape tells her to finish him off already.
The crowd laughs too while others are wondering if the two apes are really about to kill Dante. Dante crawls behind a stake of fallen pipes, as the female gets closer. However the other ape yells for her as she looks down seeing an explosive in the muck lines from where Dante had crawled over. Leaping high she gets out of the way of the explosion as it rattles the room. Blasting her eardrums until she hears nothing but a constant ringing. Dante with his eyes barely able to focus and his own ears ringing too raises the rifle and opens fire on the ape. He misses but his shots ruin the pipes she's holding onto making both her and the pipes fall. The female ape screams and groans in pain as a downpour of slurry drops onto her from the broken pipes.
With the female ape temporarily out of the way only leaves Dante and the other ape. Who quickly leaps, closing the gap between the two and shoulder checking Dante from behind his small cover. The ape howls baring his teeth to pound his chest. But Dante stands up with a smirk dropping a needle from his hand. The ape realizes as Dante charges him back that he just sent a dose of adrenaline into his system.
The ape still charges first throwing a sidekick Dante quickly guards by raising his knee. Dante following this guard throws a right jab to follow it with another knee then another left jab. The ape guards, shocked by Dante strikes and has to duck under his next jab Dante's fist going over the ape's head. The ape in return punches Dante in the jaw but he doesn't even shake off the punch. As he gives the ape a solid uppercut to its jaw to follow it with a slap to the apes ear. The ape screams as his ear rings allowing Dante to trip him and knee him backwards in the sternum.
The ape shakes his head coughing up a big wad of spit to return to his battle stance to growl at Dante. Dante panting and still high off the adrenaline smirks at the ape. Dante throws the ape off guard as he surprises it by throwing a loss pipe at the ape. It bats away the pipe only to find its allies knife now in the ape's thigh. The ape yelps at the pain. Dante charging in, raises his foot to stomp the knife further into the ape's thigh. The ape screams as Dante grapples it for a moment to roll and throw the ape over him, making him land hard on another stack of rusted pipes.
The ape quickly gets back up to charge Dante having enough of the smirk he's still wearing. But Dante remembers the golden rule with dealing with larger enemies. Defecting them with the thousand cuts always wins out in the end. Dante meets the apes charge ducking under its first punch to give it two body blows. The ape rattled again and winded only for Dante to give the ape a punch across both its cheeks. Dante then gives the ape a sidekick to its lower ribs and a downward punch into its jaw joint.
The ape clearly winded and dazed into confusion can't fight back as Dante holds its head to give it two knees to the gut. Following this by again attacking its limp leg making the ape drop to its knees. And finally ending the fight Dante gives it one final knee uppercut into the jaw. Hearing the crack and seeing the ape's jaw completely hanging loose the ape gargles to slump forward. The final thud as it bleeds from its mangled jaw. Dante huffs the adrenaline now down and feeling his sore knuckles and knees. Along with the open wound in his foot. Dante quickly takes the apes boots and tries them on, happy that the apes are not a size bigger. But still a bit big from him but he's going to wear it.
Dante turns his attention back to the female ape surprised she didn't butt into the fight. But as he gets closer he sees he had a bit of luck. The female ape had landing on a few rusted pipe shards. They punctured her torso and the slurry must have been a toxic shock to her body. Her scream must have been the first indication that she was dying. Dante quickly takes her medical kit and her pouch of throwing knives. Doing the same for the other ape he finds he has a bigger side pouch filled with golf ball sized explosives. With his looting done Dante tends to his foot and hurries off to leave the facility. And now fully avoiding any more pools of slurry. However Dante knows the rule checking the stolen rifle Dante puts a round in both their heads before moving on.
The audiences watching are once more amazed while a new group cheers at seeing the odd mutant score two more kills. Disk however looks at his camera crew pissed as he calls Septimos to say, "That mutie just killed another two of your crew Septimos are you sure you can kill him? Or are you just another merc with a big ego?"
Septimos responds with a growl crushing the communications device. The ape man goes to his personal ship that's housing a very important piece of cargo. Dante continues to move through the old factory but the more he goes the more he notices that this factory has no loading area. Its hallways look more like an assembly line plus he doesn't see any sign of things that look like manufactured goods or signs signifying such goods. Dante decides he has to at least figure out what was made here. For the very least to fix his curiosity, at best to find something useful to help him.
Dante rounds a corner onto a spiraled catwalk that's very close in shape to a silo. However a shot rings out Dante not knowing the direction due to the echo as it rings up and down the whole silo. The shot grazes Dante's metal arm as he rushes to the stairs to climb up. Two more shots follow, one clipping across Dante's scalp the other catching him in the chest. Knocked backwards and wheezing Dante thanks himself for grabbing the female apes under armor while he was looting her. But he definitely won't be trying to test the armor's limits. Dante ducks and weaves looking scared and frantic. While he's actually trying to deduce where the shooter is.
Dante scrambles behind a beam as another three shots ring off the metal and echoes through the silo. Dante takes several deep breaths as he tries to look frantic while at the same time looking around. The next beam up is at a different location from the stairs. And with no cover he'll be an easy target for the shooter gunning for him. The ape sharpshooter calms her breathing. She wants to savor the moment she takes this muties head. Dante fiddles with the explosives he has as three more shots ring out in the silo. The rounds curving slightly to take off chips of metal from the wall.
Dante gulps knowing in a few seconds the next rounds will hit him from how the shooter is now trying to angle them. Dante hearing the shot's ring rushes from cover, as the ape sharpshooter is stunned. Pissed that she allowed Dante to catch her as she was putting in a new clip. Chambering the plasma infused rounds she fires again not getting a good measure while Dante is running. Dante hearing the rounds ducks prone as the rounds sail over him. Scrambling to in his crawl Dante gets into a low hanging piece of grating and crawls into a vent.
The ape shooter huffs as she backs off and circles to find Dante who is crawling through the dusty vent system. The audience laughs and cheers at the sight of Dante getting away. Disk curses saying "Frucking lucky mutie... What are his odds now?"
A camera member scans the pages of bids and money sharing to answer "Right now the books have him four to six on him taking out the ape gunning for him. They still have Septimos with good odds of killing him if they meet sir." Disk rubs his lip asking what the payout will be if Dante does kill Septimos. The camera member answers, "If he does kill him sir the payout will be a big sum of duckets."
Disk calls up another merc for a cool and calm voice to answer, "What is it I'm hunting?" Laga's cold hiss at the end sending scared chills through everyone's spine. Even Disk but he keeps his cool to explain to Laga the situation with Septimos and Dante. Laga thinks for a moment to say, "If the mutant does kill Septimos I'll take the job only after we talk about price. From how you've described this mutant it might be more interesting than you let on." Laga ends the call and Disk knows for sure that Laga is right. Dante isn't some half starved drug addict and he certainly can hold his own in situations when pressed its clear at this point. But Disk knows that he will run Dante's luck dry he just has to have the cards stacked against him more.
In the cramped duct system Dante crawls ever so slowly not wanting his movements to vibrate the duct system too much. Thus giving away the direction he's going. Stopping Dante sees that he's now at a four point split way in the ducts. Dante however holds his breath as tapping echo through the vents. Dante looks down each duct way to see the bottom of one duct, shaking as if something is poking at it from below. Knowing for sure now that the sniper is just this close Dante thinks up a drastic plan.
Audience watches as the sniper ape uses her rifle to lightly tap at the vents above her. As she approaches a hallway several frantic banging can be heard indicating that Dante is running or crawling as fast as he can away. The sniper takes a proper grip of her rifle to fire along the path Dante is crawling. After seeming to miss several shots Dante's crawling stops. The sniper and the audience wonder if she actually hit him but the markswoman ape isn't going to be fooled. Deciding to cluster her shots she continues to fire into the vent. Until an explosive blasts downward onto her.
Everyone watching is shocked as the ape that once had Dante scrambling in fear away from the busty blast. Now trying to regain her barring's after the blast the shooter scans through the bust. Dante slowly pokes his head free from a pile of fallen debris and sees blood pool from the shooter's ears as dust and debris coats her as they notice one another. Dante tries to hurry only to tumble from the vents clearly shaken and disoriented himself. The ape lifts her weapon only for Dante to throw another explosive right at the ceiling above her. Drowning them both in more dust and debris, more shoots ring off as the shooter is frantic to kill Dante. Dante and the shooter soon stumble through the dust cloud both cough as she kicks him a few times in the side and groin. Dante pissed at the low blow seeing as he needs his crotch to please his hive sisters and queen. In a split second Dante headbutts her hard to put all his weight into making them both tumble and roll. The two struggle but Dante is still able enough to kick the ape's weapon away from her and fire three rounds into her back as she tries to retrieve it. Dropping with a thud Dante breathes a big breath of relief and starts to cough up dust. Disk scarps both his hands through his hair, pissed at seeing Dante kill the last of Septimos's crew. Disk right away calls Laga to ask her about a starting price for if Dante kills Septimos.
Dante still rattled and hearing a steady ringing in his ear wobbly searches for a place to sit and take a breath. Sure he did take the marksman apes rifle but with little ammo or idea how to properly use it he doesn't have many options. Dante pushes his way into several dark rooms only to fall down a hole, landing square onto his side. Groaning he mumbles his luck and blames Buck for being in such a crappy situation. Still Dante knows that's not fair to his brother. The least he could do is allow Buck to blame something on him too. But Dante keeps going to crawl off into a random direction, the ringing slowly going away while his sores, bruises, and aches grow.
Laga enters a private line with Septimos to ask "I hear that mutant has a nice prize on his head now? It would appear his skills far outweigh his outward appearance." Septimos growls asking why she was bothering him for Laga to answer "Consider this professionalism between bounty hunters Septimos. If that mutant kills you I'll be collecting off your ship and whatever gear is worth selling." Septimos growls warning her but Laga warns back "All five under you underestimated the skills of that red manned mutant. Best you not do the same or his bounty will be worthier than yours." Laga ends the call with Septimos roaring, slamming his fists against the wall. He's had enough of hearing of this mutant. And plans to kill Dante the moment he leaves the factory's main and only exit.
As night falls many more deaths follow as the bounty hunters and contestants continue to go about killing. Or simply fending off their potential killer to breathe longer. Dante groans as he sits up, finally not feeling the soreness in his head. But also surprised that he's not dead or about to die. Dante groans his adrenaline and painkillers having run their course through his body. So naturally Dante hops down the dimly lit corridor in hopes of a better position to collect himself. As Dante limps he sees a structural difference in the floor. Turning a corner Dante stops seeing the large heavy sealed door with the odd skull design from a few other places painted to the door.
Dante goes to the console but he's surprised to see it has power. The console powers on with a green display to have a skull come out of a hatch. With a cybernetic eye piece the skull scans Dante's face to beep several times. The scan stops and the skull retreats for the console to say several things in a language he doesn't understand. Before finally the door begins to groan and rumble. Dante is shocked as the door rumbles into the ground to reveal that inside is a room filled with blueprints and a long series of scrolls and tombs. Dante lifts one only for it to crumble slightly to ash. Dante sighs just like all the other worn documents he's found nature has done its course to destroy whatever information they might have held.
But as Dante continues his search he tries his best to take up and acquire any documents that are still for the most part together. Moving slowly shelf and row at a time Dante has to stop and take many breaks. He's tired and with what little stolen provisions he has he needs to save and collect himself. But Dante stops finding a large belt system and to his shock the run off of all the muck he's encountered has come from either this large machine. Or several others like it but just as well hidden. Dante finding another console powers up the machine but like the console outside he can't read or understand what it says. Dante curses as the machine quickly loses power forcing him to limp around and pull other power cores or sources of energy to hotwire the main one. But even with power the screen still shows the odd language he can't read. Dante slumps down to tend to his wounds a bit more but asks in a tired tone "Please I need help to understand I can't read..."
The machine responds with several beeps for a metronome voice to say "Ancient tongue of the machine god recognized. How may this forge system help you?" Dante jumps up looking at the console seeing the words begin to translate and once more the machine asks him how it can assist him. Dante chuckles, not believing his luck as he first asks for a universal translator. And to Dante's smiling face the machine gets to work fabricating the device for him. Thus beginning Dante's many questions to the old creation machine. As it slowly works Dante as normal he right away takes notes.
Septimos as well as many in the audience are bored and wondering what's taking Dante so long getting out of the factory. He could of course just be hiding not wanting to deal with anyone else trying to kill him. Or he could be waiting till everyone out to try and kill him gets bored and goes away. But not Septimos he'd wait out the odd mutant until he gets the chance to rip his head from his body. Septimos thinks 'This mutie has cost me good bodies and has cost me a fair amount of rep. If I let him live it'll cost me bounties next.'
Septimos like many others continue to wait as hours slowly go by and the large ape wonders if Dante is truly waiting and using the factory as a fort to hide in. But before he can move to another position footsteps begin to approach Septimos. The ape man like many others watches in shock as a figure in dark green flack armor emerges from the factory's back doors. Dante smiles to look at the ape alien in his USCM standard body armor. Against the slave jumpsuit Dante looks like a mix mash up of military regulations. But the information and knowledge he's now carrying is one hundred percent proprietary. Such tech needs to go back with him no matter what.
Dante leveling his pulse rifle to click on the universal translator against his hip plate to say, "My name is third class Lieutenant Dante O'Hare of the colonial marine corps. I can tell from your gear that you're either a gun for hire or a gun nut just trying to enjoy killing things. But I'm not some simple mutant as your benefactor may have led you to believe. So I'm going to walk one direction and you take the other and we call this odd situation he's put us in square." Dante waits as Septimos chews over what he just heard Dante say. Not only is Dante a part of some alien military, clearly some force reaching out into the galaxy to gain allies or expand. But now Disk is broadcasting this to the whole damn galaxy. If Dante's people see this Disk and all associated with him are dead. The extreme game hunter knows now for sure his head went from dead or alive to dead just for this galatic fuck up.
Septimos huffs to say "Why don't we try the other way first." Dante does a tactical roll as Septimos lifts a hefty gatling style blaster. Rounds from the odd rail gun like machinegun begin to bounce off his cover as Dante scrambles behind the large cement blocks. Dante shakes his head thinking 'So much for talking things through.' Dante quickly deploys a flash grenade making everyone winch and cover their eyes. Dante taking a side angle opens fire with three four round bursts of the pulse rifles standard explosive tip caseless rounds. Septimos growls as his armor is partly damaged, having to use his metal arms as a barrier for Dante's rounds.
Dante quickly springs into new cover as Septimos continues to fire heavy caliber infused rounds at him. Septimos throws a round sphere at Dante, for his eyepiece to warn him of the sphere's chemical danger. Dante quickly runs, having to zig zag as the sphere detonates into what Dante can clearly smell is a termite style bomb. Dante fires another three four round burst of suppressive fire to return into cover. The audience but mostly policing agents now are truly scrambling to locate Disk's operations. This could be a major galactic incident if a new space faring species first contact is discovered to be like this. And from how well trained Dante has been in captivity, many agencies don't want to see any kind of army seeking retribution if he dies. Or face an army similar to his skill in survival and adaptive warfare.
Disk is beyond pissed the whole galaxy knows Dante isn't a mutant and his bounty will no doubt be as much as a star once things end. And worse he knows every policing agency won't care if he dies. They'll no doubt want to capture Dante and smooth things over with him to pave the way for further relations between his people and whichever systems agency gets him. Disk needs an angle and he needs one fast.
Dante for his part is holding his own against Septimos who is shocked at Dante's caseless explosive tipped rounds. Standard issue for the Pulse rifle but still packing a punch the large metal armed ape can't counter. Dante using the aiming assist eyepiece of the marine helmet can't get to the apes main armor if his arms and giant weapon stay in his way. Laying down covering fire Dante runs to new cover as Septimos throws another termite bomb. The ape uses his muscle to keep him above Dante in the hanging pipes of the factory's outer works.
As the fight continues Dante knows he doesn't have enough ammo to keep going in a prolonged engagement. And he'd rather save the surprise magazines he made for worse case situations. But Dante changes his mag to take another look at Septimos posture and his arms. Dante, seeing no choice, breaks from cover but as Septimos fires Dante stops to pump the under housing of the Pulse rifle and fire a grenade. Septimos screams as the explosive sends him and the pipes crashing to the ground. Before Dante could aim properly Septimos opens fire again with his light machinegun forcing Dante to move out from proper line of sight.
Septimos growls to throw off the pipes and shakes himself feeling wounds cover his back to say, "I'm going to enjoy ripping off your frucking head alien." Dante stops as the word alien rocks around in his head. Dante soon starts to laugh, enjoying the idea that he's a completely foreign species to whatever species is common to the hired gun trying to kill him. Dante rolls to fire three sets of burst fire at Septimos making the ape rush away to cover all his own. Septimos growls as he drops his light machinegun to pull a heavy looking handgun from his belt. The only thing Dante sees wrong with this handgun in the large apes hands is that it has a belt feed box magazine to it.
Dante rushes Septimos using his smaller size to weave around Septimos and the various pieces of cover. Septimos is shocked as Dante flanks him to use his metal arm to punch the cyborg ape in the chest. Septimos swats Dante back a few steps but Dante opens fire with the distance given. Septimos raises his arm but finally a few rounds make contact with his main armor. The large ape coughs tasting blood at his lips but growls as he wants nothing more than to rip off Dante's head.
Dante opens fire again but stops to pump and fire another grenade at Septimos side. Septimos legs buckle as his now mangled leg, losing balance at the pain. With blood spewing from his side Septimos goes to throw another termite charge. But Dante, ever quick on the draw, beats Septimos to it, opens fire with his revolver at the charge and blows it before Septimos can throw it. The pain screams and howls the ape makes as the termite eats away at his armor, then his fur, and finally his skin and bones. The audience watching is shocked seeing the famous gorilla bounty hunter killed by this odd soldier. Dante quickly goes to Septimos body to take the radio from his head and take Septimos heavy handgun.
Backing up Dante gets out of the area as Septimos ammo and whatever other explosives he has goes up in a further series of small explosives. That leaves the once famous ape bounty hunter nothing more than a mess of blood and burned metal across the abandoned factory grounds. Disk is pissed because a good few of his backers are now placing hefty bets in favor of Dante surviving and killing all the mercs. Or lasting long enough to make it to the final three.
Dante rushes back into the factory and gets to the fabricator machine. The machine is old so it needs time and extra materials to make things he requests. But with the final items he won't have to carry paper or lug around the fabricator's heavy black box. Dante with a motion tracker and a new data pad plugs into the machine and downloads all its data. The unique UI of the machine seems to fit right into the small portable device. And with luck Dante will get further insight on the alien tech.
Dante quickly slings on the backpack also fabricated and stores the extra ammo and other items he made. Dante nods to attach the motion tracker cord to his helmet as a secondary toggle setting to his eye piece. The bulky side piece having a small swing arm attached to a rotating latch piece on the side of his helmet. Dante then plugs the radio he stole into the data pad and checks the frequencies until his own is masked. But still allow him to eavesdrop if he wants to. Dante thinks 'To be able to decrypt and monitor enemy movements is tactics 101. I may not have the advantage of seeing my enemies first. But I will be able to hear what they're saying now...Let's hope this works to my advantage. I need to survive the queen and the hive are waiting for me... Damn it Dante you get laid a few times and that's what you think of doing if you live? I can't be turning into Buck can I? Fuck I better keep moving and debate this later.'
Hive Queen View
I can feel rage boil within me but seeing my daughter's memory leaves me both saddened and justified in her punishment. Bond by her sisters of her rank they each slap her across her breasts, rear, stomach, and thighs. I tell them this is punishment but the younger of my daughters still feel rage which returns to me. My daughter showed me what happened and how the twisting vortex of lights pulled our hive stud into it. How he desperately tried to get free but ultimately was pulled in. My daughter says "Mother, sisters, I failed to save him but I will bring him back."
I lean forward my other daughters, stopping the punishment for me to raise my daughters head with my tail. She's drooling from between her legs she's leaking with her juices. And her breasts though full blossomed strain without means to help relieve her hunger. My other daughters have been assaulting her mind with fresh memories of our hive stud with some of their sisters. My oldest were preparing a small celebration for their recent trip to the abandoned village. But now all they have is frustration and bitterness towards their sister. But I say "My child, our stud, was taken by the same force that brought him here. Who knows how long before it returns him or if it will return him at all. Until it does you shall leave the hive every day in search of him. You won't be exiled but your sisters will shun you. And I will only speak to you when you report any news or whispers. Until the star crests and climbs to its highest point your punishment will continue. Then you shall begin your search but for every four star fall that you bring back nothing another punishment shall begin again."
I know this is harsh but she shunned our hive stud even when he gave small looks of interest. I warned her yet she allowed him such space that something impossible happened. I thought worse another hive would rush after him. But this is beyond anything I know. I must look into the deepest reaches of the hive's knowledge and see if anything was passed down of such anomalies. I pray to the matriarch's that our stud is safe he promised me and I can't bear the idea of him being forced to break that promise. Worse of all never getting the chance to fulfill his promise to me.
Jester; Hope you guys share and like this and leave any comments telling me what you think. Or if you have any ideas you want to suggest for this story or the other open stories I'm working on. Have a wonderful day or night wherever you guys live currently and yeah friends the hugs are free.
