AN: So it's been a while huh? I deeply apologize for making you all wait for so long, I still have every intention of completing this story. This is meant to be an interlude chapter that will showcase what I have planned for future arcs. It's better than leaving you guys hanging for over a year. So without further ado, let's get on with the chapter.

Ben's Universe

Orbiting far from the Earth itself was the Chimerian Hammer Mark III. It was a massive alien warship that looked like a dark and red tuning fork. The two front points were vertically parallel with each other, tipped with red glass orbs. As the rear of the ship was a massive red orb encased in the center and two red orbs on the bottom. The helm was atop in the rear, above the red orb center of the ship, with the front and sides windowed with red orb-shaped glass. And the rear of the ship was an insect-shaped claw that was the engine thruster of the ship itself. The front two tips sparked with electrical lightning dancing between them both.

The gigantic warship was the pride of the Chimerian fleet from the home world of Vilgaxia, home world of the squid-like humanoids known as the Chimera Sui Generis. And it was the property of the most dangerous being in the universe.

Inside the command center of the enemy battle-cruiser, a large figure sat upon a throne while dozens of drones man multiple terminals situated throughout the room. The drones type frantically to keep the ship's functions optimal.

If one were to describe the atmosphere on the massive warship only known as the Chimerian Hammer Mark III's bridge, the word tense would be a gross large figure stood up and entered the light where he was revealed in his full glory. He was a massive, hulking, green skinned behemoth with a beard of what appeared to be squid-tentacles. He wore a large red and black armored suit that covered most of his body save for his muscular arms, while also baring a large sword on his back. He also had gas-mask-like device covering his face with glowing red eyes that just burnt with pure hatred and malice. This was indeed Vilgax, the most dangerous being in Ben's home universe. He was once a powerful warlord who used to be the ruler and destroyer of many worlds, but after his previous ship had crashed on Earth and everyone presumed him dead, his great empire had quickly fallen apart. Now that he had escaped from the Null Void, Vilgax was seeking absolute revenge on the individual responsible.

Though Vilgax's most loyal servant Psyphon didn't show it, he was inwardly terrified at the eerie silence that had befallen upon the bridge since his and his master's departure from Vilgaxia, in fact, he could say that it could be felt on the entire ship itself. From what the lead bio drone had informed him, they were suppose to have arrived at their destination at a standard of ten regular Earth days from Vilgaxia. However, they had passed their original estimated arrival about two Earth days ago, and Psyphon was growing very anxiously as each minute ticked bye.

His master, on the other hand, showed no sign of the fear that his only minion made of flesh-and-blood was currently going through. In fact, he hasn't moved from his position during their journey and had showed no outwardly change in appearance, save for the slight narrowing of his eyes when they hadn't arrived at their destination on schedule. Thankfully, no drones were destroyed and his master hadn't punished Psyphon for his misinformation. That probably didn't stop the warlord from thinking of it, though.

'This is taking too long,' The alien servant thought nervously, wringing his skeletal hands around in fear. 'These incompetent machines are insufficient when it comes to completing simple tasks. Even a baby Galvan would be able to tell time correctly than these machines' worthless memory cores can.'

He dared to take a glance at his master, and was relieved to see that he hadn't moved at all. Could it be possible that he's simply sleeping with his eyes open?

"Master," the voice of the ship's helmsman finally spoke up, turning away from his console to face his creator. "We have arrived in our target's Solar System, and are currently fifteen standard minutes away from our destination."

"Finally," Vilgax growled, flexing his hands as if he was imagining a person's head was in them. He looked down to bore his blood-red eyes into his loyal minion's horned head. "Psyphon, send word out across the armada to prepare for our invasion. I want a swift and clean victory when we emerge from hyperspace."

The ever loyal servant bowed like an obedient dog. "As you command, master."

And so, for the next several minutes, he did as his master instructed for him to do. Each of the Dreadnaughts assigned captains obeyed as their master's second-in-command ordered and began preparations for the Chimera Sui Generis's eventual conquest. Their cannons were loaded, proton torpedoes activated, and forward shields at minimum power due to the Earth's primitive weapons compared to their own. As the seconds counted down to their arrival, Psyphon found the passing seconds to be the longest moments in his life and, at some points, swore that he saw his life flash before his eyes.

He shook such thoughts away when the lead drone poke up again. "We are currently sixty seconds away from our destination, master."

A deep rumbling sound emerged from the warlord's respirator, the closest that he'll ever get to making a hum due to his damaged vocal cords. The seconds slowly ticked down and Vilgax began imagining the events that were to follow upon arrival; the world's inhabitants would panic at the sight of his fleet, their leaders trying their best to destroy him only to be wiped out by a single orbital bombardment. From there, his soldiers would descend from the skies and rain fire down upon the cowardly life forms, as they panicked and looked up to their gods, shouting out for them to send someone to save them only to be silenced forever.

'And then,' Vilgax thought with a sense of dark glee. 'The moment that I've been waiting for has come at last.'

He could vividly picture the look of fear on Ben Tennyson's face as the warlord made his way over to the insolent child, stepping over the corpses of his allies and loved ones without a care in the world. The boy would undoubtedly try to fight back, but would soon be overwhelmed by Vilgax's might and weapons he had acquired during his years of conquest, and would perish with his kind. Once then, the Omnitrix would be his, and all who dared to oppose his wrath shall be vanquished to the pits of Hell.

The time-limit reached its end, and the humanoid drone pulled back on one of the many levers on the console to have the blue vortex of hyperspace fall away to the countless stars in the galaxy of this unexplored world

Vilgax's eyes pulsed with glee when he saw it; .

"Status!" Psyphon barked, as Vilgax sat up from his command chair and began walking over to the bridge's view-port in a trance, hands clasped behind his enormous back.

"Energy shields raised at full power, Master."

"Starfighters in position, and ready for departure."

"Forward cannons prepped and ready."

"Landing craft prepared."

Psyphon looked over at a console and smiled darkly. "The ships are in position and await for your orders, master." he hissed with glee like a snake ready to strike at its prey.

"Commence our assault," Vilgax commanded with a low, maniacal chuckle. Staring down at the beautiful orb of a backwater planet, he almost felt sorry for the fate that was about to fall upon it.

Almost.

"But first, I need to go meet with our special guests."

Engine Deck

Working on a lab console, was a human boy of seventeen years of age, with shaggy white hair, red eyes with black circles, and even paler skin, and a lean, muscular build and of average height. He wore black/white sneakers, black denim jeans, and a black shirt with a red jacket to go over. The jacket had two black stripes on the upper right sleeve and a single black stripe going down the left side. In the heart area of the stripe was a black circle with the number 10 emblazoned in white. And on his right hand was a red and black fingerless gauntlet that went up only to the wrist, worn on the back of the hand with a red and black Omnitrix symbol on it. To anyone that saw him but didn't know who he really was they'd assume he was Ben Tennyson himself with a new look, a long lost twin brother or even someone who just looks like him.

But those that knew who he really was knew different. This was Albedo, Ben Tennyson's evil counterpart; a former Galvan scientist that had become a negative version of Ben of sorts. And on his right hand was the Ultimatrix, his variation of the Omnitrix; a supposed improvement over Azmuth's technology, his former master. the rogue Galvan had gone through quite a lot of trouble to escape from prison but nevertheless managed to do it by easily deceiving the Plumbers that were stationed there.

His biggest obstacle was finding out how to stabilize his transformations after Ben ruined his latest attempt to return back to his Galvan form. Thankfully after months of searching he finally found the components to revert back to his Galvan form by stealing a Polymorphic crystal from Techadon Weapon Master Number 13 and was able to create a new Ultimatrix which was capable of stabilizing Albedo's transformations, making it so that he can stay in any form as long as he wants. This Ultimatrix also allowed for Albedo to instantly transform into alien forms, as well as transforming between alien forms or back into normal whether it is his human form or original Galvan form if Albedo has already transformed, with or without touching the Ultimatrix. Just like the original Ultimatrix, Albedo's new Ultimatrix mainly allows for him to transform into the Ultimate Forms of his aliens forms. Unlike the original Ultimatrix however, the new Ultimatrix allows for Albedo to transform into any of the Ultimate forms of aliens forms, as well as transforming between the Ultimate forms of his aliens forms, either with or without first transforming into their devolved forms. Nevertheless he still used his human form for work since believe it or not he had somewhat grown accustomed to it. Unfortunately he still hadn't been able to rid himself of Ben's influence such as his obsession with Chilly Fries. Despite knowing he just likes them naturally he refuses to believe that a being with his level of intellect would actually enjoy those greasy and disgusting fries the humans would dare call food, so he just blamed Ben for his addiction as he always did.

Currently, he had converted a Tachyon Generator with what looked to b a small sphere, with three rings encircling it constantly. He was putting in the final coordinates, as he smirked proudly, "Ha! They thought this was insanity, a fool's dream. Well, I, Albedo: the true First Thinker has finally done the impossible!"

"I hope so for your sake." A deep and gruff voice said behind Albedo who turned to see Vilgax himself entering the room.

Vilgax meanwhile had gone through some changes since his last encounter with Ben. After escaping from the Null Void, Vilgax saw that some new improvements were needed to his very being in order to make up for the powers that he lost after they were absorbed into Ascalon. So he decided to make himself even stronger and thanks to his new cybernetic implants he was feeling better than ever. Now he was stronger, faster and fiercer than before with a stronger body making it that much harder for Tennyson to try and defeat him. However despite his upgrades, he still desired the Omnitrix and Ben's demise to fulfill his goal in ruling the universe. Plus so far he hadn't tested his new strength against Tennyson so it was unknown how effective his abilities would be against his longtime nemesis.

So he decided to come up with a plan to finally eliminate Ben. However his plan required someone with great intellect and other individuals who hated Tennyson just as much as him in order for it to be carried out. That's where Albedo came in where he tracked him down and found him in hiding trying to find ways to revert what Azmuth had done to him. Now while Vilgax's could've taken it from Albedo he saw that the Omnitrix was the true greatest creation of Galvan Prime and believed it's inferior design wouldn't satisfy him. Especially after knowing all the faults it had with the primary being that the user's body becomes a copy of it's current user and Vilgax had no intention of taking on his nemesis's form. So he struck a bargain with Albedo, he would assist him in getting what he needs to regain his Galvan form and he would help him enact his master plan to rid themselves of Ben Tennyson forever.

Naturally at first Albedo was judgmental and distrusting in working with Vilgax again after their first and last alliance ended with him being betrayed and imprisoned by Vilgax after he backed out of their agreement. However after Vilgax kept to his word of helping Albedo finish his Ultimatrix and restore his Galvan form he decided to offer his assistance to build what the space conqueror needed to make his plan a reality. After hearing what his plan was he naturally became interested in helping with it. Especially when it meant the end of his enemy Ben. However that didn't mean that Albedo trusted Vilgax, quite the contrary he was still on guard and keeping a close on him for signs of betrayal due to past hostilities.

"You are aware of that we are on a time table?" Vilgax warned Albedo, as he stepped out of the darkness. "At the moment my forces are hard pressed to keep up with your demands. Psyphon and his gang of incompetent dimwitted goons can only work so fast. And this plan would be proceeding on schedule, if you had sped up your calculations."

Albedo huffed, as he groaned, "Excuse me, but do you know of any other intelligent beings in this universe that could convert a Tachyon Engine Generator into a Gravity Drive?" He smirked arrogantly, as he stated smugly, "I think not. Although, I must admit I begrudgingly congratulate on your keen observation that I, Albedo, was smart enough to…"

But he was grabbed by the head, and hoisted up to meet Vilgax face-to-face, as the Chimerian conqueror growled, "If you mention how smart you are again…"

"Calm down, I should remind you that we are about to enter a reality that isn't our own," A man wearing a silver helmet with a purple visor that blocked all view of his face, leaving only two glowing purple eyes in a black bodysuit that was covered by silver armor and a purple cape that was also hanging off his shoulders explained calmly as he entered the room as well. "So, it's imperative that we all keep our composure."

"Hmph, while you two are busy chatting, I'm going to focus on more important matters, like my work!" Albedo scoffed as he went back to work on the Tachyon Generator.

"Remind me why I even agreed to help you in the first place, Eon?" Vilgax asked as he turned his glare over to the time traveler.

"Because this is where Ben Tennyson and his allies are currently at," Eon explained calmly, not even phased by the conqueror's gaze. "That meddling Paradox believes that so-called treasure those primitive pirates are after is worth something valuable. Which, knowing Paradox, will no doubt interfere with my plans. I know how much of a threat Ben is as well, hence why I enlisted your assistance amongst others that were thwarted by him."

"Vilgax!

The two psychopaths turned around to see a screen flicker to life as a nine foot, feral-looking dragon-like beast with a single red glowing eye, a stylized hand-like cannon on the right arm and the left hand appearing reptilian with spikes coming from it's back that appear to be red metal was on the other side of the video-link, transmitting from the lab of the warship.

"Confound your archaic technology!" The reptilian beast shouted, "Even my superior powers are unable to properly process your ship's systems! I would never have agreed to join you if it meant being trapped in here! Forced to do your bidding, it's beneath a perfect being such as my-"

"Get on with it, Malware," Vilgax interrupted, his tone promising both swift and severe punishment if his servant didn't comply.

"...All the preparations have been made. Thanks to my abilities your drone army is even more powerful than ever before," Malware stated before cutting the video-link,

"Excellent," Vilgax said, looking a bit satisfied.

Eon turned to look at his associate, "Tennyson is going to learn about the consequences of his actions when he fights in this world."

Vilgax smirked a bit as he listened to Eon.

"I see…but there is still a chance that his actions will do the opposite effect instead," he pointed out.

"I am well aware, which is why I plan to collaborate with the government of this parallel Earth," Eon spoke. "I'll convince them that Tennyson is a threat to their delicate balance."

"Very interesting, I never really considered going at Tennyson from multiple approaches like that," Vilgax said, slightly impressed with his colleague's preparations.

"Yes, even with his newfound allies, many of this world will eventually see him as a monster instead of a hero. If we can get Tennyson to interfere with this World Government's affairs, then his fate will be sealed," Eon added.

Vilgax smirked as he heard the last part.

"As long as I finally obtain the Omnitrix and finish off Tennyson personally," The warlord said as he turned around and walked back to his command center.

While Vilgax turned his back to Eon, the time traveler pulled out a purple wristwatch like device.

"I guarantee it, as my goals differ from your own," he reassured tahe intergalactic conqueror while looking at the inactive device that he grasped. "A completely different objective altogether."

Eon smirked behind his helmet, already knowing that his plans were in full motion. All that was left was to wait.

AN: Well, looks like the Straw Hats will be meeting Vilgax and some of Ben's other enemies sooner than they think. This may not be what Bigby originally had in mind, but it's always been my intention to have this story be a complete crossover between these two franchises. Also, Ten Piece will still pay respect to One Piece and follow the canon arcs. It just won't be a rehashing of One Piece arcs with canon proceeding as if Ben, Gwen, and Kevin were never there to begin with. That's just flat out boring. Now that that's out of the way, more and more will happen in this story as more Ben 10 characters both friend and foe begin to show up, and The Straw Hats learn a bit more of Ben's history with Vilgax. One other thing to note is that I'm still requesting more fan art of this story if anyone's still interested.

See you all soon. Thank you.
