I have only one thing to say:
LEMON WARNING
though I suck as those...
The night market was not what Hunter was expecting. He'd been there before, sure, but never like this. Without uniform and actually looking at the stands that were around him.
Witches selling various potions and fabrics. Powerful spells and even gamblers. A week ago, he would've arrested all of them for such actions, but right now? He didn't care. It didn't matter what others did as long as they didn't bother him.
Every person was in their own world. Some were talking with the venders of the shops, others just looking around silently. He had always been observant, but this was new. The teen didn't know how to act around here.
Eda had forced them into a bar. She said that it would be the best place to get information.
"Alright" Eda rubbed her hands together. "Time to make money, pickpocket some idiots and get information" she grinned.
Luz sighed. "Eda, we're not here to steal" she reminded the older witch.
"I know, I know. Don't worry. But gambling with people is the best way to get information" she said.
"What exactly are you looking for?" Hunter asked, keeping his hood close to his face.
If Belos made posters of him then probably of the golden guard, not Hunter. But he would still be careful. Luz kept the hood of her cape up as well. Mostly to cover her ears. None of them wanted to know what people would do if anyone searched for her.
And Hunter was sure that they did. At least the Coven must be around to get them. And he truly had no desire of running into them.
"Any good bad guy that thinks highly of himself knows the rumors of the isles. I'll get them to talk" Eda smirked.
"That made no sense" he complained.
"You'll get used to it" Luz said.
He hated everything of this. Illegal gambling. Witches without a sigil. But she was right. He would get used to this.
The Owl Lady hummed in delight, sitting down at one of the tables and shoving some other guy out of the chair. The witches and demons at the table gave her a death glare and Hunter was sure that someone would die any second now.
But before anything could happen, Eda smashed a large bag of snails onto the table. Quickly, the mood changed again, and everyone played…whatever that was.
Hunter sat down at another table with Luz, making sure no one else would find a spot there. He didn't want anyone to get too close to them. Not while he was watching.
He was fascinated by the game, even if he didn't know what it was called. Or how to play it.
"Hexes Hold'em" Luz suddenly said. He turned to her.
"Eda never looses a game. Never" she gave a confident smile.
"I'll trust your judgment on that" Hunter nodded.
A witch came to their table. "What can I get you two?" she asked kindly.
If Hunter knew anything about bars, then it was that they had good drinks. And he would not pass this opportunity.
"Red Titan. For both of us" he said, not bothering to ask Luz if she even wanted one. He'd drink both of them if it came down to that.
The witch nodded and went towards the bar. She would take her time, Hunter knew that. Witches on the night market and bars didn't rush anything. And he wasn't going anywhere else tonight anyway.
"What's a red Titan?" Luz asked.
"Just some drink with apple blood. That and some other hard stuff. Oh! And juice."
"I-uh-I'm not sure if Eda would be fine with that. Or if I'm even allowed to drink yet" she chuckled.
He shrugged. "Her house, her rules. Not her house" he said. "And you're, what, fifteen? Sixteen?"
"Sixteen" she nodded.
"Then you're fine. Nobody asks on the night market" he waved her off. "If you end up not liking it though, that's fine."
She nodded, watching the witch at the bar use her magic to make the drinks. "I'm surprised that you even know about cocktails" she said.
"A what?" he raised an eyebrow.
"A cocktail? The drink, y'know. Probably a human word for it" she shrugged.
He hummed in response, bringing his attention to the drinks that were put down in front of them. The witch didn't say anything else. While carefully beginning to drink, he watched Luz eye the glass with suspicion.
She finally took a sip, cautious about the amount she was taking. Luz hummed at the taste, allowing her system to decide if she would take more. If she liked it and could take it. It was sweet with a burning aftertaste in her throat. Not bad though.
"Don't tell Eda about this" she warned before taking another sip, this time larger.
Hunter chuckled. "I won't. Take this as our first secret."
Luz smiled. She could get used to this. A little talking with a friend, trying out new things. She liked this side of Hunter. The more relaxed part. Where he wasn't so focused on rules. Just talking.
She didn't even notice how much time was passing as they chatted and watched Eda play game after game. She was winning every round she played. Sometimes she played for money, other rounds for information.
Eda knew how to keep people entertained. So, she talked about her own secrets too, every now and then. Even if they weren't that big. She knew that the same routine got people bored easily.
"She really knows what she's doing" Hunter said, finishing his third drink. They had been watching for over two hours now. And maybe they were overdoing it a bit.
Luz was drinking slower, but her third cup was almost empty by now too. She didn't even realize how much she had drunken by now. Was she drunk? Probably. Would she drink more if Hunter did? Definitely. And maybe that was her mistake.
On the fourth cup, Hunter noticed her flushed cheeks and slowing movements. He was more used to this than her. And maybe witches could take more. He saw how much it took Eda to get drunk. But she drank every day so….
He slowly moved the cup away from her. "Maybe you had enough" he said.
"Don't worry, I'm fine!" she smiled.
"Yeah, no" he shook his head. Even Flapjack looked concerned.
How was he going to explain this to Eda? Oh man, he messed up. She wasn't supposed to get drunk. But he lost focus on how much they were getting. How much she was drinking and that maybe, she really was a bit young for this. Were humans allowed to drink with sixteen? They were, right? He couldn't remember.
"Alright!" Eda slammed an even larger bag of snails onto the table. Hunter jumped and screamed a bit.
"I won lots of money and got information. Time to get home" she said.
"Yeah! Totally! We should get home" Hunter said hastily. Oh god he was doomed.
Eda narrowed her eyes at him and took a closer look at the drinks on the table. "That better be juice" she warned.
"Ooohhh yeeeaahhh. Totally" Luz giggled.
Hunter slapped his face
Eda turned towards the human, inspecting her closer. A second later, her head snapped back to him.
"Did you give her the hard stuff?" she asked. Well, more like demanded.
Hunter raised his hands in defense. "I'm sorry. I didn't think it would be that bad. I didn't pay attention."
"Obviously" Eda huffed. "Alright, you get this one free pass. I'll let it slide this one time. But you will look after her for the night since you're obviously more aware of everything."
Hunter nodded hastily. He took Luz by the arm, throwing it over his shoulder to carry her weight better. He saw Eda throw a bunch of snails onto the table, then follow.
Flying back home, Hunter had placed Luz in front of him on his staff, making sure that he could hold her if she lost balance. Which happened once or twice during the trip.
At home, Hunter placed Luz onto the couch, taking deep breaths.
"What about that information you got?" he asked when Eda threw the snails onto the table.
"We'll talk about that in the morning. When Luz can think again" she waved him off.
"So its not that much?" he wanted to know more.
"Eh" Eda shrugged. "It's probably helpful. Maybe not. Depends on what we'll figure out together. I asked Raine to come too."
"Raine? When did you ask them?" he raised an eyebrow. He hadn't seen the head witch anywhere the whole night.
"I have my ways" the Owl Lady winked, before heading towards her room.
Hunter had…many questions about that statement. But he was too tired for that now. He still had to get Luz to bed.
"Okay" he sighed, throwing Luz onto his back. He huffed as he dragged both of them up the stairs. When entering their room, he carefully put her down onto the mattress.
"Luz, are you awake?" a small moan confirmed his question. She was.
"You need to change for bed" he said. Of course he could send her to the bathroom for that. But he wasn't sure how she could handle that right now. Maybe leave her in her clothes? Leave the room?
He didn't have much time to think about that when Luz sat up and pulled her hoodie over her head, leaving her with a thin top. Nope. That went off too.
She didn't seem concerned about his presence.
Not at all when she started taking her shorts off too. And her leggings. Right, now was the time to leave.
"Okay, maybe I should leave you until you've changed" he could hear his voice crack like the doorknob he was about to open.
But apparently, that wasn't happening. He didn't know when she found a spell that would lock doors, but it was definitely locked.
"Okay…." Now he was totally confused.
Did she drink that much? Did he not have enough? Should he jump out of the window?
Maybe not. She was a beautiful girl. He hadn't noticed it before, not like this, but every part of her was perfect. The tan of her skin mixed with the matching colors of her hair and eyes.
Something changed in that moment.
Something he couldn't explain. Maybe he didn't want too either. But the newt thing he knew was, that he was taking off his own clothes. Leaving both of them naked in the small room they called their own.
The teen traced his hands over her hips, up her waist until he was met with something so much more private. Maybe he should ask first, maybe he shouldn't at all.
That thought didn't last long when his hands brushed over her breasts. They weren't large, rather just starting to properly grow. It was enough for him though. Her breath shuddered when he touched them.
He knew that women were sensitive there. That it could hurt when done wrong. But it seemed like he was doing it correctly. And that sound was enough to finally drive him wild.
Grabbing her by the waist, Hunter spun both of them around and pressed her against the door.
Another day he would've noticed. Another day he would've seen it, but right now, that didn't seem wrong. Everything about this seemed right.
And maybe it would've been slower than him just pressing their lips together without hesitation. He was careful, moving against her lips carefully. Her eyes had long closed as she was enjoying the feeling just like him.
Her lips were soft, maybe a bit chapped. Different from anything he imagined. It wasn't enough though. Pulling back and taking deep breaths of air, Hunter went towards her neck. Lightly kissing every spot he could reach.
At one spot where Luz reacted with a moan, he began sucking. Softly at first, then harder, drawing more moans out of her throat. He could feel the vibrations. And it was great. Her hands clung onto his back. For once, he didn't care about anyone seeing his scars.
He cared about giving her a good time. A great time. But was it enough? No. It wasn't.
"You okay with this?" he whispered against her skin.
"Depends" she moaned back. "Do you know how to properly do it? Being in the castle for so long. Have they taught you anything?"
"No" the witch hummed. "But I had a lot of books. Hopefully witches and humans are the same in that department."
In response, Luz pressed against him with way more force than he expected. He let her though as she took his hand and went towards their bed.
She stretched out over the whole mattress, leaving him only one spot to go: on top of her. And that is where he went.
Well, more like sat in front of her stretched thighs. Hunter took a deep breath. Carefully he touched her folds with one finger. Instantly, she twitched a bit. Sensitive too. It was no lie. He had really read books about this. Secretly.
She was already wet. And that made it easier for him. Slowly, he went to press against the small resistance.
"Hunter" Luz groaned.
He stopped for a second, thinking he did something wrong. But the look on the humans face told him something else. She liked the way this was going.
So, with a deep breath, he pushed in deeper. He moved around inside her, pulling out some and pushing back in. When she started complaining, Hunter took it as a sign to add another finger, widening her even more.
"Stop holding back" Luz complained in a moan.
"Someone's eager" Hunter chuckled, finding more confidence. He pulled out.
"So eager" she smirked, wrapping her legs around him and pulling him closer.
And with that angle she made them take, it would only take one swift motion. One last chance to decide. One last chance to back down.
But he pushed forward
Luz moaned as she dug her hands into the sheets beside her head, legs clenching harder around the other teens waist, dragging him even closer.
For a moment Hunter wasn't sure if he was even breathing. This felt great. He could even get addicted to this, and they haven't even started properly.
As he began moving inside her, he finally wasn't able to keep his own moans in any longer. He tried to stay quiet for as long as he could, worried that Edo or King might hear them. But nothing happened.
His own hands clenched the sheets beside her waist as he kept going.
"This is great" Luz breathed
Indeed, it was. And as he moved faster and faster, gripping the sheets even tighter, he forgot how this would end, and before he could, the teen felt a satisfying relief wash over him.
Before he collapsed over her, he had the present mind to pull out and lay down beside her. He was panting just like her and more exhausted than he'd ever been.
Luz snuggled closer to the heat source, even if she was feeling warmer than ever. Hunter pulled the blanket over him and held her close. He never thought that this would happen. He still didn't know if it happened because Luz was drunk.
And maybe he should've stopped her if that was the case, but he didn't care. He wanted it too. More than he was able to admit.
He could deal with the consequences tomorrow.
