Hayley and Rosie were at Pierce's house the day he was leaving.

Rosie gave him a hug "Bye. Drive safe and don't get hurt playing football."

Pierce chuckled and gave her a hug. "I will. And I will try not to. You take care of my girl and promise me you will let me know if she doesn't about any court date when she presses charges."

"Of course. And I will, promise." Rosie said

They broke the hug and he looked at Hayley she wrapped her arms around his neck.

He had already said bye to his mom and sister earlier that day as they both had to be at work. Simon was waiting for him in Pierce's truck a U-Haul pod was attached to the back of it.

Simon and Pierce were driving there together since Simon didn't own a vehicle of his own. Pierce's mom had wanted to take him to university but with her work schedule and a shitty boss she was unable to get the time off. Simon's had never really talked about his parents so the group was unsure why they weren't taking him to school but they didn't ask.

They held each other for a few minutes before Pierce spoke. "Hals I will be home at Thanksgiving. And a weekend or maybe two before than." Pierce said his arms wrapped around her.

"I know. But I'm going to miss you so much." Hayley said in tears.

"I'm going to miss you too." He said softly kissing the top of her head.

Hayley held on to him tightly not wanting to let go.

"If we don't leave now we are going to miss check in and that will be bad." Pierce said

"What are they going to do? Rescind your admission and scholarship." Hayley asked with a smirk

"Probably not but wont look good." Pierce said amusement in his voice

"You will text me when you get there?" Hayley asked

"And call you once I'm in my dorm and settled." He said, "And video chat you as often as I can."

Hayley squeezed him tight one last time before letting him go.

Pierce kissed her one last time.

"I love you." He told her

"Love you too." Hayley said.

Pierce got into the drivers seat of his truck and started the engine before he started off.

Hayley wiped at her eyes. Rosie wrapped her in a hug as they watched them go. "You will see him soon. And its just four years."

Hayley nodded. "Unless I end up going to university somewhere away and he is back here or if he stays in Pennsylvania."

"Well you could go to school away. But I'm pretty sure he will be back here or wherever you are." Rosie said with a smile.

Hayley smiled a little

"Come on. Lets go get something to eat. You can pick." Rosie said leading her sister to her car and starting to drive towards the food Hayley decided on.

"Can you do me a favor?" Hayley asked

"Anything." Rosie said

"I don't want Pierce worrying about me when he focus should be on school. I will tell him some details but not everything about what happens when I go to the police station tomorrow and about the court case that comes from it. If any. Hopefully Matt will admit guilt and we wont need to go to court but don't tell him anything I don't." Hayley said

Rosie let out a breath. "I made him a promise Hals."

"And your my sister." Hayley said

"Yes. But I made him a promise." Rosie said

"You know if I didn't trust the both of you I would be worried about how close you two are." Hayley said

Rosie chuckled. "Ew. He is like my brother. And Hals you are a big part of the reason we are so close. He really helped and still helps me navigate this big sister thing. And also has been there for me like a big brother would. He treats me like he treats Taylor."

Hayley nodded.

"I wont tell him specific details but if there is a court date and you don't tell him about it. I will." Rosie said

"I don't want him skipping school to come here to support me." Hayley said

"I get that. But he is your boyfriend and wants to." Rosie said

"And if he skips school it an affect his scholarship and place on the football team. You gave you kidney so Nolan wouldn't have to give up his future goals. Am I not allowed to do what I can to support my boyfriend?" Hayley asked

"Of course you are. And Hals you really think you cant convince him to just be a support from there and not come here if it means skipping school? All you have to do is use those feminine wiles." Rosie said with a smirk.

"He has his own… ways of getting me to cave to him." Hayley said with a smirk

"Do I want to know?" Rosie asked

Hayley chuckled. "Probably not."

"You two have sex yet?" Rosie asked

"Yes. I'm on the pill. My mom helped me get it. And dad and papa know. That I'm on the pill." Hayley said

Rosie nodded

"Have you and Nolan?" Hayley asked

"No. Not yet. But its coming soon." Rosie said

"You two have waited along time." Hayley said

"We haven't been ready." Rosie said

"I get that. I think its great that you two are waiting until you are both ready." Hayley said with a smile

Rosie smiled and nodded.

"You said its coming. Is there an actual plan?" Hayley asked

Rosie nodded. "There is."

"You nervous?" Hayley asked

"Yup." Rosie said, "But excited too."

They pulled in at the restaurant and went inside and ordered some burgers and milkshakes before siting down with their food

"So its coming up on your anniversary with Nolan." Hayley said

"Yup. Two years." Rosie said

"What are the plans?" Hayley asked

"Dinner. And stuff." Rosie said

"Oh!" Hayley said "Wow. That's…. Okay so that's the plan."

Rosie chuckled.

"Where?" Hayley asked

"The only hotel in the area that will let an eighteen year old get a room." Rosie said

"Wont all hotels do that?" Hayley asked

"Most want you to be twenty-one." Rosie said

"Ah." Hayley said

"A few will to eighteen to twenty- one year old's." Rosie said, "Only one around here does."

"Hopefully a classy one." Hayley said

Rosie chuckled "Yes."

"Dad and Papa know?" Hayley asked

"No. They know dinner and a drive." Rosie said

Hayley nodded. "Lips are sealed."

"I appreciate that." Rosie said

They finished their food before leaving the restaurant and headed home.

When they got home they both went inside.

"Rosie kitchen please." Dave called

"Doesn't sound angry. Cant be bad." Rosie said "Right?"

"Why do we always get nervous even when we have done nothing?" Hayley asked with a smirk

Rosie chuckled and went.

"Yes?" Rosie asked her dad and papa who were both there

"Papa and I had plans to go out this evening as you know. Your sisters were supposed to be at their mom's but that has fallen through. Hayley has her boxing. Can you watch your sisters?" Dave asked

"Sure." Rosie said with a smile.

"Is Hayley okay?" Hunter asked

"She's sad but okay." Rosie said, "I took her to get burgers and milkshakes."

Hunter smiled and nodded. "You do know how to make her feel better."

Rosie shrugged. "I guess. So where you two going?"

"Dinner and dancing." Hunter said

Rosie looked at Dave and smirked.

"Yes. He wore me down." Dave said

Rosie giggled.

"We are heading out around five should be back by eleven. We will leave you money to get pizza." Dave said with a smile.

"You know I can cook." Rosie said with a smile

"Yes. We know you can we just want to make your life easier." Hunter said

"I just don't want pizza. We have had it to much lately." Rosie said

Dave and Hunter chuckled "You could order something different. I just suggested pizza because you all like it." Dave said

"And you will have to figure out something else that everyone else likes." Hunter said

"We all like Chinese food. Right?" Rosie asked

"Not anymore. Kara hates it." Hunter said

"Since when?" Dave asked

"A few weeks ago." Hunter said

Dave chuckled.

"I can make dinner. Something we will all like." Rosie said

"Okay. We will let you." Hunter said

Dave and Hunter called all the kids down.

"Mom had something come up and you are staying here tonight. Rosie is watching you." Hunter said when they were all downstairs.

"Is she okay?" Callie asked

"Yes. Just something she has to take care of. Nothing to worry about." Hunter said

"If we come home and you have given her any trouble there will be consequences." Dave said

They all nodded.

"We will have fun." Rosie said with a smile.

The kids all went off after the conversation and Rosie looked through the fridge and freezer to pull out stuff to make dinner. She decided on an easy dinner of grilled cheese and tomato soup.

"I think she takes after you." Hunter said with a smile watching her start on preparing the soup.

"Ha. I will never be the chef he is." Rosie said

"Never say never." Dave said

"I cant cook like you." Rosie said

"And your seventeen. In ten years you could be out cooking me." Dave said

"Highly doubt it." Rosie said, "I don't mind cooking but I don't love it the way you do."

"Yet you offered to cook tonight?" Dave asked

"Because I don't want pizza or to fight to find something we all like." Rosie said

Hunter chuckled.

"Grilled cheese and tomato soup. Easy. We all like it." Rosie said "And with the rain we have been having. I think its perfect."

"I don't disagree. Do you want help with the soup since I don't think you have ever made it from scratch yourself." Dave asked

"I have." Rosie said "A few times. Not here."

"Oh." Dave said "Okay."

Rosie took a breath and put the knife she was using to cut tomatoes down.

Dave went over to her and put a hand on each other shoulders. "Its okay to have good memories from a bad time."

Rosie nodded.

"Was it Beatrice who taught you?" Dave asked

"No." Rosie said

"Darrel?" Dave asked

"Ha. No. That man didn't know how to boil water." Rosie said

"Than who?" Dave asked

"Tobias." Rosie said

"Who's is he?" Dave asked

"He was like a grandfather to me." Rosie said, "He passed a few months before I was found."

Dave nodded. "Oh. I guess you never mentioned his name before. Didn't realize you had spent time cooking with him."

"It was just once. I don't remember why he was the one babysitting me. Usually if they were out I was at Lexi's or Paige's but one afternoon I was with him and he was making tomato soup and he taught me." Rosie said

"He was part of the religion?" Hunter asked

"Yes," Rosie said, "he always had a smile on his face and always had a hug to give to anyone who needed one."

"Did he know what was going on for you at home?" Hunter asked

"I don't think so." Rosie said "But I had a weird dream not long after he passed. Had the worst fight with the Long's probably ever. And I um. Was not mentally in a good place. He came to me in that dream telling me to hold on just a little longer that it was going to get better. Three days before I broke into the amusement park."

Dave squeezed her shoulder.

"If it wasn't for that dream…" Rosie said

Dave took a breath.

"Its hard to think back to that time and think about how I was so close to ending my life. And how if I had. I never would have known this life. Known really being loved." Rosie said

"But you didn't. Because you were supposed to be found and supposed to come home." Hunter said

Rosie nodded. "On that logic I was supposed to be taken."

"No. You weren't supposed to be taken. You were supposed always be here but when you were taken you were supposed to be found and come home." Hunter said

Rosie nodded. "Okay. I don't want to think about that anymore."

"Right. So do you want help before I get ready to go out?" Dave asked

"No thanks." Rosie said. She hugged her dad tight.

Dave hugged her tight and kissed her head.

Hunter came over and hugged her as well. Rosie hugged him too.

"You sure you're going to be okay tonight?" Hunter asked

"Yes." Rosie said with a smile.

"Okay. Good." Hunter said

Hunter and Dave went to get ready to go out.

Scarlet came into the kitchen "Can we make and decorate cookies?" Scarlet asked

"If we have the ingredients to do so as soon as I'm done starting this soup sure." Rosie said

"Yay!" Scarlet said

Rosie finished getting the soup on the stove to cook and started to look through the pantry and fridge with Scarlet to make sure they had everything which they did.

"Go see if any of the others want to help." Rosie said

Scarlet ran off and came back. "No. They are all going to watch a movie."

"Okay." Rosie said. She had gotten everything the would need out. The two of them started to make cookies.

Hunter came into the kitchen and saw and took a picture with his phone. Scarlet saw. "Papa. What are you doing?"

"Just taking a picture of two of my girls pumpkin." Hunter said

Rosie smiled. "I look like crap it better not be going on social media."

"Nope. Just for the slideshow at your wedding." Hunter said with a smirk "And you look fine."

"Ha." Rosie said with smile

"What kind of cookies?" Hunter asked

"Sugar cookies. Best for decorating." Rosie said

Hunter smiled. "Awesome."

"Your tie is crooked." Rosie told him.

Hunter nodded. "I'll fix it. Thank you sweetpea."

"Why is she sweetpea and I'm pumpkin?" Scarlet asked

Hunter chuckled. "Not sure pumpkin. Just what came naturally. You all have different nicknames. Do you not like pumpkin?"

"No. I like it." Scarlet said with a smile

Hunter looked at Rosie. "You have no issue with sweetpea?"

"Nope." Rosie said with a smile

Hunter went and looked in a mirror and fixed his tie.

Dave came into the kitchen. "Where is Papa?"

"Fixing his tie probably." Rosie said

Dave smiled. "Okay. We both will have our phones. The names and numbers of the restaurant and place we are dancing are on the fridge. Call if there is any problems."

"Understood. But don't think we will have a problem." Rosie said with a smile

"I don't think you will either." Dave went into the living room and saw what the others were watching it was Jurassic Park

"No. Turn it off." Dave said

"Why?" Callie asked

"Because -you are not even old enough to watch it let alone your little sisters. Off now." He said

Callie sighed and turned it off.

"And it stays off. If you want to watch another movie fine. But not that one." Dave said

"Okay." Callie said putting on a more age appropriate movie.

Dave went back into the kitchen. "Keep an eye on the movie they are watching. They were watching Jurassic park. I had Callie change it but I get a feeling she will change it back with we leave." Dave told Rosie quietly

"Okay. Sorry I didn't notice." Rosie said

"Its okay. Just keep an eye on it now." Dave said

Rosie nodded. "I will."

Dave and Hunter left a few minutes later and the cookies went into the oven.

"Now they will bake and have to cool. We can decorate after dinner." Rosie said

"Okay." Scarlet said.

Rosie checked on the soup before going and checking the living room to see the fact that Callie had in fact changed it back to Jurassic park.

"Nope. Change it." Rosie said

"Why?" Callie asked

"You know why." Rosie said

"Dad said we could watch it." Callie said

"Really? Because he told me he told you to change it." Rosie said

"Oh…" Callie said.

Rosie took the remote and changed it a movie they all would like and was age appropriate.

"Come on cant you just let us? Dad and Papa don't have to know." Callie said

"No." Rosie said

"I thought you were a cool big sister." Callie said

"Oh darn, guess I'm not." Rosie said sarcastically before leaving the room and going back into the kitchen.

She texted Nolan.

'I lost cool big sister status apparently.' She sent with a cry laughing emoji

'Oh no. What did you do?' Nolan asked

'I turned off a movie that my dad had told to change but as soon as he and my papa were out Callie turned it back.' Rosie said

Nolan sent a couple laughing emojis 'You going to rat them out?'

'I don't know being called uncool doesn't make me want to be nice.' Rosie said with a smirking emoji.

'You babysitting it sounds like?' Nolan sent

'Yes. Hayley has boxing and our dad and papa had a date planned and the others were supposed to be at their moms but something came up so they asked me if I could.' Rosie sent

'Cool.' Nolan sent

'So I'm making soup and grilled cheese for dinner, just taking some sugar cookies that Scar and I made out of the oven to be decorated after dinner.' Rosie sent

She took the cookies out and set them to cool a bit before moving them to a cooling rack to finish cooling.

'Ooh. Sugar cookies.' Nolan said

'Yup. Best to decorate.' Rosie sent she went back into the living room to see the movie had been switched back.

"Okay. You're done with the TV." She said taking the remote and turning it off.

"Hey!" Callie said

"You were told you are not allowed to watch that movie. You chose not to listen. You are done with TV for tonight." Rosie said

"You're a bitch." Callie said

There was a gasp from Maddy and Mackenzie.

"What does that mean?" Kara asked

Rosie took a breath. "Callie go to your room."

"No." Callie said

"Do not make me call dad." Rosie said

"Ha. He wont hear his phone." Callie said

"Why wouldn't he hear it?" Rosie asked

"Because I turned the volume for calls off." Callie said

"Callie! You cant do that! If he gets a call from work its really bad if he doesn't answer." Rosie said

"Whatever." Callie said

"I'll call Papa than." Rosie said

Callie smirked.

Rosie took a breath and tried calling both of them but neither answered.

"Up to your room now or I'll call your mom." Rosie said

Callie shrugged "She's to busy with her boyfriend she wont come."

"I find it hard to believe that your mother wouldn't come if I called and explained what was happening." Rosie said

"Well find out for yourself." Callie said

Rosie went and found Helen's number on the emergency numbers list on the phone and called it but there was no answer.

"Damn it." Rosie mumbled. She heard the TV turned on again.

Rosie went and turned the TV off again and looked at the other three girls. "You three are not in trouble but can you please go find something else to do."

Maddy, Kenzie and KK left the room.

Rosie looked at Callie. "You are going to be very sorry when dad and papa get home." She took the remote and left the room and went into the kitchen to finish making dinner.

Callie came into the kitchen and went for a cookie.

"Don't touch." Rosie said

"Don't touch." Callie mimicked.

"Keep it up Callie Eve and my patience will wear out." Rosie said

"What are you going to do? You cant spank me." Callie said

"No. But you know when they get home you are going to be in so much trouble. I have the number for the restaurant they are at. Think about how much worse it will be if I have to call the restaurant to get in contact with them." Rosie said

Callie narrowed her eyes at her sister.

"How about you just tell me what has you hating me all of a sudden?" Rosie asked

"I want to watch that movie." Callie said

"I'm not exactly the one telling you that you cant. Dad told me not to let you." Rosie said

"But dad is not here." Callie said

"No. But your really think if I let you keep watching it that Kara wouldn't end up having nightmares and when they ask her what about and she tells them its about the movie they wont find out? And than -all of us will be in trouble." Rosie said

"Well can I watch it without Kara?" Callie asked

"No. Because with my luck you will have nightmares about it and the same effect will happen." Rosie said

"I'll tell them that your dinner and driving around with Nolan on your anniversary is dinner and a hotel if you don't let me." Callie said with a smirk.

"I don't know what you are talking about." Rosie said. How the hell did Callie know that? There was no way Hayley would have told her.

"I heard you on the phone with him planning it." Callie said, "I know you're planning on having sex."

"Again. Not sure what you are talking about." Rosie said she knew that dad and papa wouldn't be too upset with her about that. They knew about the possibility. Did she want them to know? No. But she was not going to let her twelve year old sister manipulate her into getting her way.

Callie stomped her foot.

"Wow. You want to watch a PG13 movie but you're acting like our four year old sister. Really?" Rosie asked

"Fuck you." Callie said before she stormed off.

Rosie let out a breath she finished making dinner and called everyone down. Callie refused to come down and eat. Rosie was not going to force her. The others sat and they all ate and talked.

"Is Callie in trouble?" Kara asked

"Don't worry about it." Rosie said

"Are you going to tell daddy and papa that we were watching that movie?" Kara asked

"Yes." Rosie said

"I don't wanna be in trouble." Kara said

"I know. No one likes being in trouble." Rosie said, "But if you pout really cute they will probably just tell you to listen next time."

"So not fair that works for her and not us." Maddy said

"Callie was the one who put it on. I'm guessing it will mostly fall on her." Rosie said

"Especially since she swore at Rose." Kenzie said

"How about we just talk about something else." Rosie said changing the subject.

When they finished eating everyone cleared up the table and filled up the dishwasher.

"Anyone else interested in decorating cookies with Scar and I?" She asked

The three of them agreed and the five of them got set up at the table with the cookies and all the things to decorate.

While they were doing so Rosie's phone rang. She looked at it and answered.

"Hey dad." Rosie said

"You called? Sorry don't know how but my phone got set to silent." Dave said

"Yeah I think papa's did too. Callie did it so I couldn't get in touch with you as easily." Rosie said

Dave sighed. "What did she do?"

Rosie got up and left the room. "She turned the movie back to Jurassic park. I turned it to a different movie. She turned it back so I turned off the TV and she proceeded to call me a word that rhymes with witch. I told her to go to her room and when I told her I would call you and papa she told me she turned your phones volumes off. I did try Helen as well but she also didn't answer. I sent the other three to find something else to do and went back into the kitchen with the remote. She came in to grab a cookie and I told her not to because they were hot. I also said I could call the restaurant and that she would be in probably far more trouble if I did that. And I asked her why she suddenly was hating on me and she told me because I wouldn't let her watch the movie. I pointed out that it was more you telling me not to let her watch it. And she asked if we could just not tell you and papa if I let them watch it I told her no that if I did that you would find out because Kara would end up having nightmares about it. And than she asked if I would let just her watch it. I told her no that with my luck she would be the one who ended up with the nightmares and end results you would find out and I'd rather not be in trouble. She stomped her foot. I pointed out that she wanted to watch a movie rated PG13 yet she was acting like our four year old sister. She told me to F word off. And stormed to her room."

Dave sighed.

"I think right now I have it handled. I don't want to ruin your night." Rosie said

"Are you sure?" Dave asked

"Yes. Just turn your phone volumes up and if I have a problem again I will call." Rosie said

"Okay. Hey. I'm proud of you bambina." Dave said

"Thank you dad." Rosie said

They hung up.

Rosie went back to the table.

"They coming home?" Maddy asked

"Not until later." Rosie said sitting down.

"They aren't pissed?" Maddy asked

"I don't know. But I convinced them that things are handled here and to enjoy their night. Papa getting dad to go dancing is rare. I wasn't going to let it end if I could help it." Rosie said

Maddy giggled.

They finished decorating the cookies and Rosie got them all glasses of milk to enjoy their cookies with.

Callie slunk into the kitchen. "Hi…"

"Hi. You hungry?" Rosie asked

"Yeah…" Callie said

"There is a grilled cheese in the microwave and soup on the stove. Help yourself." Rosie said

Callie did so and sat and ate.

The others left the table when they were done with their cookies putting their glasses in the sink before going off.

"Any chance I can say sorry and we just not tell dad and papa?" Callie asked

"Well I would appreciate the apology and I can tell them you apologized. But dad called me back when he saw I called. I have told him what was going on." Rosie said

Callie groaned.

"We all make mistakes Cal." Rosie said

"Yeah… But doesn't mean I want the consequence." Callie said

"No one does." Rosie said "Which is why I wouldn't let you watch the movie. I know we would get caught. And I don't want the consequences. In life there are consequences for everything we do. Good and bad. When it comes to the bad. We need to decide if the possible consequences are worth it before we do things. And I know you wont always think things through before you do them. I don't always. But as you get older you will learn to do it more."

Callie nodded.

"I will tell them you apologized and put on a sad remorseful face. It will lesson the consequences." Rosie said

Callie nodded "Why are you helping when I was a jerk to you?"

"Because you're my sister." Rosie said, "And because I know you're sorry."

Callie nodded.

"And I know how much it sucks to be in trouble with them." Rosie said

Callie nodded again finishing her food and cleared up.

"Do you want a cookie?" Rosie asked

Callie smiled and sat down and had a cookie.

"They coming home early?" Callie asked

"Nope." Rosie said, "I convinced them I had it handled to go have fun."

Callie smirked.

"What did you want to have to deal with papa being pissed because he had to miss out on the dancing he convinced dad to do with him?" Rosie asked

Callie chuckled "Nope."

Hayley came into the house and went to the freezer and grabbed an ice pack.

"What happened?" Rosie asked

"Don't ask." Hayley said putting it on her fist.

"Don't you wear gloves to prevent knuckle damages?" Rosie asked

"Do you want to have to lie to Dad and Papa?" Hayley asked

"No." Rosie said

"Than don't ask." Hayley said

"Damn, you fought without your gloves." Rosie said

Hayley sighed

"You hungry?" Rosie asked

"Starving." Hayley said

"Sit. I'll get you some food." Rosie said

Hayley sat and Rosie made her a grilled cheese and warmed up soup for her.

"Thanks." Hayley said

Callie had since left to go upstairs.

"The one time I came and punched there. One of the things you told me was never punch with out a mitt cause your coach would yell at me that he had done it to you before, how pissed was he?" Rosie asked

"He's a yeller that's for sure. Was not pretty. Suspended me from the next boxing match" Hayley said

"Shit. That sucks." Rosie said

"Yes. It does. Soups good. But tastes different did dad make it?" Hayley asked

"No. I did." Rosie said

"Well its good." Hayley said with a smile

"Thanks." Rosie said

A bit later Rosie went and helped the youngest two get ready for bed and got them into bed and read them a story until they feel asleep.

Rosie than went and told the twins to get ready for bed. They did so and Rosie tucked them in and read to them as well before going to Callie's room and telling her she should head to bed soon.

"I wont be able to sleep…" Callie said

"At least get ready for bed." Rosie said before she left the room and went downstairs.

"You don't think your hand is broken or anything do you?" Rosie asked

"No." Hayley said moving it. "Just going to be bruised."

"Well you might be able to get away with it if you tell dad and papa that you got yelled at and in trouble from the coach. They are going to be distracted with Callie." Rosie said

Hayley smirked. "What did she do?"

Rosie told her what happened.

"She swore at you?!" Hayley said

"Yeah." Rosie said

"Well she's in big trouble." Hayley said, "You're right I'll probably just be told not to do it again."

The front door opened. Rosie looked at her watch. It was only nine thirty.

Dave came into the kitchen.

"You're home early." Rosie said

"Yeah. Things got…complicated." Dave said

"Oh?" Rosie asked

Dave noticed Hayley had the ice pack on her fist. "Hals. What happened?"

"Um…" Hayley said "Just got a little hurt at boxing."

"Okay I know your lying." Dave said

"Where is Papa?" Rosie asked

"Just changing." Dave said

"He's changing pretty quickly after coming home." Rosie said

Hunter came into the kitchen "I think they are old enough to know what happened."

"Well that one is lying about what happened to her fist and the other one is trying to distract me off the topic." Dave said

"Hayley out with it." Hunter said

"I already got yelled at by my coach and suspended from the next match. I punched a punching bag without my glove. I know it was stupid. I wont do it again." Hayley said

Hunter sighed. "Why did you do it?"

"I was on the way out… And I passed the bag…" Hayley said

"Hals." Dave said disappointedly

"I know. I'm sorry." Hayley said

"Your coach laid into you good?" Hunter said

"Yes." Hayley said. "You can call and ask him"

"I believe you." Hunter said

"So what happened with you two?" Rosie asked

"Someone didn't agree with us dancing together. Threw a drink on me." Hunter said

"Are you okay?" Rosie asked

"I'm okay." Hunter said

"Who is this person? I'm sure I can have a conversation with them. With my fist." Hayley said

"Since when is it okay to threaten to hit people?" Dave asked

"Since this person hurt my papa." Hayley said

"Violence is never the answer." Hunter told her.

Hayley nodded. "Okay. I'm sorry."

"The others all in bed?" Dave asked

"Yes. Callie might still be awake. From worry." Rosie said

"I'll go talk to her." Dave said

"She apologized to me by the way. And she was sincere." Rosie said

Dave nodded before he went.

"I'm sorry your night didn't end well." Rosie said

"Its okay sweetpea." Hunter said

"No its not." Hayley said, "You deserve to be able to do whatever everyone get to do."

"Its one night. We can try another night." Hunter told her with a smile.

"What if dad doesn't want to?" Hayley said

"You really think after tonight dad wont agree to it without hesitation to make him happy?" Rosie asked

Hayley chuckled "Maybe."

Hunter shook his head and smiled. He went over to Hayley "Let me see your hand."

Hayley took the ice pack off and showed him.

"Okay doesn't look to bad. Don't do this again. Or you will not be boxing anymore." Hunter said

"Got it." Hayley said

"And keep the ice on it." Hunter said

"I will." Hayley said.

Hunter kissed her head. Hayley got up and gave papa a hug and went upstairs.

Hunter sat with Rosie. "You okay?"

"Yes. Callie and I had a good talk." Rosie said

"Good." Hunter said

/\/\/\

Dave had gone upstairs and brought Callie down to the office. He knew although it was late it was better it get this dealt with now.

He sat in his chair and looked at his daughter. "Callie. Papa and I were really disappointed to hear how you acted tonight."

"Sorry dad." Callie said softly

"I know your sorry. Rosie mentioned that you apologized to her too and that's good I'm glad. I'm glad you realize that what you did was not okay. But it doesn't change the fact that you tried to go behind my back to watch the movie you were told no. And when Rosie told you no and changed it back. Twice. And that you swore at her twice." Dave told her.

Callie nodded. "I wont do it again."

"I appreciate that but I know you are old enough to understand your actions have consequences." He told her

"Yes daddy." Callie said softly

Dave moved to sitting next to her and helped her over his lap.

He gave her a dozen hard swats before sitting her up.

She was sobbing by the time he finished and sobbed into him for a few minutes before she calmed down.

Dave held her while she did. Once she was calm Dave lifted her chin. "Its forgiven buttercup."

Callie smiled a little

Dave kissed her head. "You're okay?"

"Yeah." Callie said

"You sure?" Dave asked

"I just don't like being in trouble." Callie said

"Well no one does. But its been dealt with and its forgiven. Wont be brought up again." Dave said

"Are Maddy, Kenzie and KK in trouble?" Callie asked

"You don't want them to be?" Dave asked

"No. I told them not to tell Rosie cause I was older and they had to do what I said…" Callie said

Dave took a breath. "Well that's good to know. But if they are you are not responsible for it."

Callie nodded.

"Just because you are older does not mean you are responsible for their choices." Dave said

Callie nodded again

"Why do you think you are?" Dave asked

"Well. Rosie has taken the blame for things I have done before…I though." Callie said

"Well I know of the one situation. Has there been others?" Dave asked

"No." Callie said

"And what happened when Papa and I found out the truth?" Dave asked

"I got a lecture." Callie said

Dave nodded. "Because you are responsible for your own choices. Just like your sisters."

"Okay." Callie said

"Now its late. Go. Get some sleep." Dave said

Callie left the office and went to bed.

Soon Rosie went to bed as well followed soon after by Dave and Hunter.
