ORC vs Kokabiel

Kokabiel was a study in nonchalance as he leaned his chin on one hand as he slouched on his floating throne. The Grigori Leader was slight amused as he watched the approach of the Gremory Peerage and their allies. He easily recognized each member of the Occult Research Club from their leader Rias Gremory to the newest member Erica Blandelli. He also knew of the two Exorcists as Holy Sword users. While he was slightly displeased that Sona Sitri was not coming to fight him, he contented himself with the fact that when he killed everyone here he'd reignite the Three Faction war.

"Ah, I see you have accepted my invitation to be executed, how marvelous." Kokabiel grinned showing the rows of shark teeth that he'd gained when he fell. "I would have liked you to bring Sona Sitri as well, but I guess you she was a little wiser than the rest of you."

'Man, he's full of himself, isn't he?' Xander sent to Rias even has he raised his Double Barreled AR-15 in his gauntleted hands. The green gems of the [Boosted Gear] flashed as Ddraig quietly announced the *Boost*. It was the third one since he'd manifested the sacred gear. As discussed he'd already promoted to Queen, but had not summoned or used {Rosenberg}.

'Well, he has good reason to be.' Rias responded mentally before flipping the safety of her M9A3 off. "I think you'll find we won't be the ones dying today. I don't know what you think you'll gain attacking my town, but you can be certain it will not come to be." Despite her bold words, Rias was nervous. She was well aware that her own brother dwarfed her in power and that Kokabiel had survived fighting him three times. "If you leave now, the Satans will not view this as a breach of the ceasefire."

"The Church agrees with the Satans in this decree." Irina spoke up as she relayed what the Council declared in this case. "Your actions here could end the Ceasefire and the Church will concentrate their might on ending the threat of the Fallen Angels." As she spoke, Irina willed {Excalibur Mimic} to become a katana. While she was also carrying {Excalibur Destruction} she wasn't as comfortable with that weapon.

"Kokabiel, the destroyer of Sodom and Gomorrah, while your feats are impressive, you are no god." Erica Blandelli started her own bit. "I, Erica Blandelli, Knight of the Copper Black Cross, will stand against you if you attempt to harm the town of Kuoh. Take this warning as you will."

"You know that Azazel-sama is NOT going to like what you have planned, Kokabiel-baka." Raynare ignited the {Light Sword} that she'd been given by the Exorcists. "Just stand down and leave before it gets bloody."

"HAHAHAHA!" Kokabiel threw back his head as he laughed the banal threats of women who spoke up. He didn't consider any of them a threat in the slightest. They were simply a means to an end, the very end some of them were threatening him. "You should know something: I want to break the ceasefire. So your threats are useless against me. I will kill you here. There is no doubt about that. I am just giving you the chance to impress me in order to save this pathetic little town."

"Well… shit." Xander accurately summed up the thoughts of everyone present. There had been some hope that Kokabiel would be reasoned with. Failing that they hoped he wasn't willing to actually void the ceasefire despite all the rumors that he was a warmonger. If what he was reading from the {Eye of Omen} was correct Kokabiel was simply beyond them at the moment. "This changes nothing, it's just more reason to kick his ass."

"So be it, Kokabiel." Rias had faltered for a moment, but Xander's words steeled her resolve. Her personal sigil formed beneath her feet and her hair was buffeted by the winds created by releasing some of the bindings on her power. "Today will mark the last time you cross paths with a Gremory."

"Come, lion of steel. The one carrying the spirit of the lion, the steel that carries the essence of battle! Respond to my hand and voice!" Erica incanted as her personal sigil formed in front of her. Out of the magic circle a steel lion's head emerged and roared in her face. Undeterred Erica shoved her right hand into the beast mouth followed by her arm to shoulder. "Your name is {Cuore di Leone}... The warrior inheriting the name of the lion-hearted king! The knight Erica Blandelli swears thus, I will return your loyalty with valour and chivalry!" she continued the incantation as she pulled an Italian style broadsword free with a twirl in place before bringing the sword up in the traditional fencer's salute. "It appears it is time for a duel."

"We tried to reason with you." Xenovia said before she reached out her right hand to her side, a massive holy sigil formed in the air. A moment later a gigantic blue blade with gold hilt emerged from the sigil, the entire sword ensnared in chains. Xenovia grasps the hilt and begins to chant. "Oh Saint Peter, Basil and Denis. Oh Bless'd Mary. By their names and the soul of the Saint who resides in this blade, I set you free." With the final word the chains break and Xenovia brings the sword to bear. "{Durandal}!"

"[Sword Birth] Go!" Kiba incanted as he triggered the *Balance Breaker* of his sacred gear. The now well known {Sword of the Betrayed} appeared in his hands as demonic and holy energies swirled about the blade. "You should probably reconsider your plans, Kokabiel. When it comes to facing down the end of the world we have an ace in the hole on our side."

"Oh my, {Cuore di Leone}, {Durandal}, {Sword of the Betrayed}, and two fragments of {Excalibur}." Kokabiel didn't have to feign being impressed. "Such a collection legendary weapons, even if the legend of one is relatively new. This requires and appropriate response. Oh, I know. Let me introduce to my favorite pets." The mad Grigori said as he pointed to the ground. Three massive portals formed ground belching forth scarlet flames that reeked of brimstone. There were growls as six massive figures leapt out of the portals. Each black furred beast was massive standing ten meters tall with three snarling canine heads with wicked teeth and red eyes. Then the final beast rose from the portal, it crimson fur slightly larger size set it apart as did it's brown eyes, but it looked no less ferocious as it let out a thunderous bark. "My Cerberi should prove to be a nice warm up."

Almost every member of the ORC tensed at the sight of the giant three headed hounds. Cereberi were the offspring of Hades original guard dog and carried a derivation of their progenitor's name to identify the breed. Centuries decades ago Hades gifted these pups to each of the factions for use as guardians and hunting dogs. They were truly formidable and one could provide a suitable challenge to Mid-Class devils. In packs they were much more dangerous especially if they had an Alpha like the red furred one seemed to be. Anyone sane who understood what they were facing would be hesitant. It should be noted that one member of the ORC has never been called sane.

"Oh look at you! You are a beautiful girl, aren't you?" Xander Harris cooed to the red furred Cerberi as he slung his rifle. Holding out his hand for the dog to sniff he continued to approach completely unafraid. "I bet you'd like some ear scratches, wouldn't you? I'm really good at ear scratches." He continued to coo to the female Cerberi. "Come on, you know you want to."

Xander's actions seemed completely insane but what was more shocking was how the Cerberi were reacting. The six black furred Cerberi were cowering away, whimpering as if Xander was the single scariest thing they had ever seen. Meanwhile the scarlet furred Cerberi stood her ground and growled for a few moments. Then it was as if a switch was flipped. The Alpha began acting like a puppy whom was all too happy to see her Master. She crouched down like she was going to pounce, her three mouths were panting happily, and her tail wagged happily. When Xander held out his hand she submitted fully laying her heads on the ground and whimpering.

"Oh, you are a good girl, aren't you?" Xander cooed as he stepped up and indeed scratched behind the center head's left ear causing the Cerberus to thump her back leg happily. "I'm going to call you Fluffy. You like that?" Xander asked and Fluffy huffed in approval. "Now, Fluffy we'll play some later. Right now I need to guard Asia over there." The former watcher said as he pointed out the blonde former nun. "And be nice to my friends, alright? "

"WOOF!" The three heads of Fluffy barked in unison as she climbed to her feet and leapt over the line of ORC warriors to stand protectively over Asia. Unfortunately, the defection of red furred Cerberi did not inspire the others to follow. In fact they threw off their fear of Xander as they advanced, snarling as menacingly as they could.

"He's completely batshit insane." Raynare murmured as she witnessed her adoptive little brother literally tame a Cerberi Alpha and renamed it Fluffy. "Alright folks, Cereberi are vulnerable to Holy weapons and completely immune to fire."

"I wonder how they handle *Thunderbolt!*" Akeno held a single handle skyward was a sigil formed under her feet. Above the battlefield a much larger mandala formed releasing a massive stroke of lightning that struck the lead Cerberi with a deafening peal of thunder. The three-headed dog collapsed into a twitching mass as arcs electricity danced over it massive body, scorching fur and burning flesh. Without a paused she pulled out one of the grenades that Xander had given here. Pulling the pin and winding up like and baseball pitcher, she threw the weapon into the back of the throat of the right head. As she predicted the beast instinctively closed it's mouth and started to swallow just before the explosion blew destroyed it's neck thus removing one head.

Before the beast could even register it lost one of three heads there was the rapid fire cracks as Rias opened fire with her pistol. Thanks to her fiance's patience she could now hit a quarter at fifty yards with her favorite pistol. While the 9mmP Jacketed Hollowpoints would normally be useless against a Cereberi's fiendish resilience, Rias had enchanted the bullets to accelerate until they hit an object or were destroyed by friction. The copper coated lead rounds were travelling several times the speed of sound and utterly destroyed the eyes of the remaining two heads. The beast howled in pain before Rias used a blast of the *Power of Destruction* to end it's life.

Xenovia leapt forward with {Durandal} in hand. One of the Cerberi attempted to snatch her out of the air only to have it's bite intercepted by the legendary sword. The supernatural beast could shrug off most weapons, but the blessed blade easily cleaved the middle head from the Cerberi's body. The severed head was burnt to ashes before it hit the ground as the Cerberi staggered back. The two remaining heads snarled hatefully at the blunette before releasing streams of flame at her. Xenovia simply turned her blade and used it as a shield to ward off the attack. That was when Irina made her move. The pigtailed exorcist used the Cereberi's distraction to flank the fiendish dog. With a slash of {Excalibur Mimic} the formerly three headed dog now only had one. Unfortunately for the beast it wasn't going to remain amongst among the living for long. Too focused on trying to roast Xenovia, it did not see that death was coming for it on raven wings. Raynare brought her borrowed light sword in a powerful stroke that sliced through the dog's massive neck causing the loss of the last head.

Working together as if they had never been parted, Kiba and Erica surged forward to intercept a Cerberi what was headed for Xander. The blonde Italian swordmasters were a study in tandem fighting. At first {Couer De Leone} slashed through fiendish hound hide as {Sword of Betrayed} fended off the beast's claws and fangs. Then they switched tactics with Erica on the defensive as Kiba pressed the assault. When the beast finally figured out what was happening it went to attack Erica when it was her turn to be the attacker. It might have succeeded if Xander hadn't been ready to shoot the head making the attack. The two .50 Beowulf rounds were blessed so they punched their way through hide and bone burrowing into the beasts brain matter before exploding with the same force of stick of dynamite each. As the Cerberus reared back two more cracks were heard and four more rounds buried themselves into the monster, this time smashing into the thoracic cavity before detonating right next to the heart. The Cerberi shuddered as it died.

Koneko smirked as one of the Cereberi charged her thinking that because she was small she was weak. The pintsized blonde allowed hound to attempt to gobble her up. With her back against the beast's lower jaw she held his mouth open with her feet. Her hands were not idle as she retrieved a special bandoleer of grenades and pulled the cord that was attached to the pins. With a grunt of effort she threw the bandoleer down the beast throat. As she'd hoped the strength of her through had carried the object too far down the dog's throat to be coughed up. With her hands free to help her escape, the platinum blonde managed to force her way out with just a second spare. She was walking away from the Cerberi as it literally exploded giant fireball.

Asia was never one for hurting anything which is why she only carried flashbang grenades and relied on the {Protective Chains of Prometheus} in battle. Seeing the black furred Cerberi charge she directed her chains to restrain the beast. Unfortunately she did not think to muzzle the heads. Casting a *Shield* to ward of the flames had been easy enough, but the former Nun realized that she'd been effectively neutralized. She couldn't used [Twilight Healing] while maintaining a *Shield*. She couldn't even summon Xanrai. Just as she was about to call for aid she saw a blur of red pounce on the Cerberi she was holding.

Fluffy might have been Xander's pet for all of a minute, but she already understood the score. She was tasked with protecting the blonde with the chains, so that is what she would do. Her claws and teeth tore into the hide of her former packmate with no mercy. While Cerberi were normally loyal to the packs to death, Kokabiel had formed this pack by forcing together the worst of the worst under her leadership. The Cerberi she was tearing to shreds had killed and eaten his former pack under Kokabiel's order and he was the least offensive of the other six. Fluffy felt no loyalty to such aberrations just as she had none to Kokabiel himself. Instead she was proud to finally serve an actual Alpha.

Kokabiel sat up on his throne and actually took notice of how the ORC was handling his pets. He'd been shocked that Xander had subverted his Alpha Cerberi, he'd been sure he'd beaten all sense of rebellion out of her. He consoled himself with the fact that they would still struggle with the other six Cerberi. They were the most vicious of his pets, most of them capable to ripping apart two of their own kind with ease. While he expected the ORC to struggle to win, but with barely any effort on their part they'd slaughtered five of the six. For the first time in the decades since World War II he was actually mildly entertained. With a snap of his fingers a massive spear of light formed and impaled the last of his loyal Hellhound before detonating to destroy the body completely.

"I see that I have underestimated you, Rias Gremory." Kokabiel announced as he took to the air dismissing his throne. "So perhaps we should skip the preliminaries. To make it sporting I will not fight to my full capabilities. Last long enough… argh!"

In another world, the ORC would have let Kokabiel continue his rant. However this was not that world. Without missing a beat Asia used her chains to hurl some of the enchanted Flash Bangs that would only affect those that were a threat to the Healer. Normally Kokabiel would have no issues shaking off the effects of one of the stun grenades, but it wasn't just one and they didn't detonate simultaneously. The Grigori was forced to cover his ears as the four pyrotechnics played havoc with his hearing and sense of balance. His eyes were no better as the flashes of light were brighter than the sun. It was not as if he was given a moment to recover either as Akeno had summoned a massive lightning bolt that bore the Fallen Angel to the ground creating a two meter radius crater. Despite his supernatural endurance blunting the damage considerably some of his robes were charred and few muscles spasmed. Unfortunately it did bear him to the ground or he would have avoided the grenades that Koneko, Raynare, Erica, Kiba, Xenovia, and Irina threw. The Grigori had barely a moment to understand what the objects where before they exploded one after another. The concussive blasts and shrapnel weren't enough to cause more than some bruises and shred his robes further, but it was more than he thought he'd receive in the entire battle. The grenades were followed by the concentrated and accurate fire from both Rias and Xander. The hypersonic 9mm hollow points were bad enough in that they raised welts, but the slower .50Beowulf round exploded with enough power to force him back and create massive bruises. Despite all the apparent damage, the ORC were not truly hurting the Kokabiel. Not if his bellowing laughter was any indicator.

"Bwahahahaha! YES! You are already exceeding my expectation, but your toys won't beat me! Come at me with some real power!" Kokabiel yelled as he formed a sigil in front of himself that launched multiple low powered *Light Spears* at the assembled warriors. As he suspected the ORC managed to avoid being skewered most of them by dodging but a few had erected *Shield* spells. The Grigori had to admit the most surprising method had been Kiba simply vanishing in a puff of smoke to leave behind a log. "Summoning a log to take a blow meant for you, how interesting."

"If you think that's interesting, let me introduce you to something I learned from the one and only Killer Bee." Kiba's smirked as six more {Swords of the Betrayed} appeared. The blonde swordsman juggled them about before he took a stance that was truly absurd as he was balanced on one foot. Kiba had one sword in his mouth, two held securely to his legs, one in each elbow, one in the crook of his neck and the last was in his armpit. Before anything could be said he vanished in another puff of smoke to appear in striking range of Kokabiel. That was when chaos erupted. Kiba was a blur of blades striking at Fallen Angel who was immediately set on the defensive with two *Light Blades* furiously fending what attacks he could. Kiba had three swords in the air at any one time, was attacking with three others and repositioning the last to be traded into the air. "This is the seven sword style."

For the first time in centuries Kokabiel was actually on the defensive as he fended off the attacks of just one person. Not since he had fought Kali had he met so many blades. If it was just the number of blades he would have easily prevailed, but the Gremory Knight was performing acrobatics as part of his assault making it difficult to find an opening. Even when he saw one making the attack would open himself to more damage from the Demonic Holy Swords than the few shallow cuts he could have inflicted. It took nearly three minutes for a true opening to open up. With a kick to Kiba's gut the young devil was sent tumbling across the athletic field as his {Swords of the Betrayed} dissipated. Immediately Asia was by his side using [Twilight Healing] to help the boy recover from massive internal bleeding.

"That was impressive, but not enough to save this town." Kokabiel smiled widely as he stared at his prey. 'They are stronger than I thought, but it only make it more fun.' The Fallen Angel made a motion with his blades in the universal gesture of |Come at me bro|. What he hadn't been expecting was the arc of electricity that weaved around his blade and struck in him the chest staggering the Grigori. So surprised by Akeno's *Lightning Arc*, he dropped his *Light Blades* completely. "Can it be that Baraqiel's daughter dares to fight? Ah so much like your father."

"DON'T STAY THAT NAME! I AM NOTHING LIKE THAT CREATURE!" Akeno Himejima howled in rage as poured out a continuous *Lightning Stream*. The two feet wide bolt of white electricity crashed against the cocoon that Kokabiel created of his wings. Arcs of electricity danced over the black feathers before grounding out. Akeno continued her barrage for nearly a minute. As the lightning died down, the Miko was panting in exertion

"Letting you servants fight for you, Rias?" Kokabiel taunted as he spread his wings wide. "I suppose that is to be expected. Your brother didn't face me alone either. Not that I blame him, I am the archenemy of Devils after all. Once I restart the war, then I will wipe your kind out completely."

'You got this Rias, I have twenty *Boosts* saved up for a Transfer.' Xander sent to his fiance's mind. 'Don't let him trick you into acting rashly.' He was quite aware that Rias had a bit of a temper when it came to insults to her family and friends. It was one of the traits they had in common. 'Remember your plan to keep the fight going as long as possible.'

'Thank you Xander.' Rias thought back to her lover as she took his hand. Until he spoke in her mind she had been ready to just throw everything into one giant blast. 'Get the others ready to delay him after I am done. If we last long enough Akeno can get the next set of boosts.'

"You will pay for the insults against by brother." Rias sounded much more confident than she was. She knew they were only alive because Kokabiel was toying with them and that could end at any time. "Now Xander!"

"On it. *Boosted Gear Gift*!" Xander announced as he willed the [Boosted Gear] to bestow the accumulated *Boosts* to Rias. He knew from their experiments that the vast increase in power would only last a short while as the only person who could withstand being boosted for more than ten minutes was himself.

"*TRANSFER!*" Ddraig shoulder out as the [Boosted Gear] redirected all the power to Rias.

"Yesss!" Rias moaned in pleasure as her body was flooded with power. The effects were quite visible as a green aura enveloped the Gremory Heiress. Her personal sigil formed underneath her feet as she undid a few of the bindings placed on her powers. The ground shook and gusts of wind buffeted the athletic field. Rias opened her eyes to reveal that her irises were now glowing with barely restrained magic.

"She's incredible." Asia was simply awed by what she was witnessing and feeling

"I can feel her power from here. It's almost like a Divine Beast." Erica uttered and then shook her head. "No, more like a Rogue God."

"Is this the power of a High Class Devil unleashed?" Irina asked with no small sense of wonder. Until today she had only faced Low Class demons in battle.

Xenovia shook her head. "No, Xander has allowed her to overcome her limits with the [Boosted Gear]."

"How wonderful!" While most enemies would have felt trepidation over facing an enemy who was making the ground shake just by gathering their power, Kokabiel felt only joy in his heart. The Leader-class Grigori had been mildly entertained by the events so far, but this moment was making things exciting. 'There is chance they could survive!' instead of finding thought disturbing, the Star of God was intrigued by the possibility. "You have increased your power well beyond your normal limits. You may have actually matched the power of Sirzechs himself. Perhaps you'll use it more effectively than he ever has."

"In that case, it's time for you to cease to be!" Rias responded as she formed multiple spell mandalas from each hand. Normally only one would be needed but she was compressing the *Power of Destruction* into a smaller coherent form to concentrate more of it on just one target. The first wave of the attack streaked for Kokabiel who actually raised a *Shield* of his own over his hands.

"Now this is more like it! Such power!" Kokabiel was smiling manically as defending himself from the attack. It had torn through his *Shield*, but he was able to fend off the attack by literally catching it with hands. It was clear that he was actually working to not be erased by the demonic magic, but nobody could tell if he was actually struggling or not. "This is definitely in league with your brother. Now this is entertaining! It's a shame that I will still have to kill you."

"Not if I kill you first!" Rias roared as she poured more power into her attack. While she did remember the plan, her Pride was telling her she could destroy the enemy that was a threat to her family, her peerage, and most importantly her lover. Being enhanced to such a degree by the [Boosted Gear] was not helping matters as it tended to bring out the desire to dominate one's opponents. As Rias poured out the power, the mass of *Power of Destruction* that Kokabiel held at bay was growing until it hit a critical mass and exploded. At the same time the *Boosts* that had been sustaining Rias's power faded away and she collapsed to the ground having spent most of her energy.

"Did she destroy him?" Kiba had finally recovered from the kick that had ended his assault on Kokabiel. It hadn't been just a matter being injured, but also having the wind knocked out of him. He did have a legitimate reason to ask as there was simply a column of smoke rising from where Kokabiel had been standing.

"We should be so lucky." Koneko replied as she readied herself for another assault. Something that saved Kiba's life as she punched the side of a *Light Spear* that had been about to cleave the blonde swordsman in half. The force of the blow was enough to dissipate the attack as it was only a normal *Light Spear* "I'd say he's a little to active for dead guy."

"Of course that would be due to the fact I am not dead." Kokabiel chuckled. The smoke cleared to reveal that Kokabiel was indeed alive and still combat capable. He did look a little worse for wear but his injuries were minor. In fact it looked as if they slowly healing. The welts were gone and the cuts had already stopped bleeding. In fact in some places the only evidence that he'd been injured was his ruined robes. "I told you before that you have no chance of beating me. I am invulnerable to such weak things as you. I am the predator and you are my prey."

Almost every member of the ORC and their allies were frozen in shock by the words of the Fallen Angel. The power that Rias had unlocked had been beyond that of High Class Devil. It had taken several minutes of Xander boosting as rapidly as he could in order allow that to happen. Yet Kokabiel had not only survived it, he was recovering. Most of the assembled warriors were calculating just how long they would live if Kokabiel got serious and it wasn't long.

"You really shouldn't tell lies, Kokabiel." Xander chuckled as he retrieved the {Rosenberg} from his dimensional sheath. The unique battleaxe was not as beautiful as the other Holy Weapon on the battlefield but that didn't mean it didn't draw the eye. As Xander used it to point at the Cadre class Fallen Angel it definitely helped his allies discard the defeatist thoughts that had plagued their minds. "If you were truly invulnerable, you wouldn't be blocking our attacks. No, you are very much our prey here."

"And just what can you do, Alexander?" Kokabiel growled out as he tossed aside the prop of his failed bluff. The Fallen Angel was not pleased with the fact that his lie was exposed so easily. "The Devil King's little sister and Baraqiel's daughter are too weak to overcome me without using your [Boosted Gear]. The ruined Knight was barely able to give me a few scratches with his insane stunt. Let me guess, it's the Ex-whore-cists turn." Kokabiel made sure to emphasize exactly how he was pronouncing that. Being a veteran of many battles he knew that if you couldn't demoralize and enemy, then enraging them would work just as well. "Perhaps with the Slut of the Copper Black Cross, the Tiny Pussy, and the Fallen Cunt they might stand a chance."

"Oh fuck." Xander muttered as he knew exactly what Kokabiel had done. The plan of keeping the Fallen on his backfoot long enough to boost up was now ruined. 'To be fair, not many women would let that go unpunished.'

"Fly *Sandals of Hermes*!" Erica called out creating a sigil underneath her feet leaping forward with {Coure di Leone} in hand. At the apex of her leap she called out another incantation "*Arges, Steropes, Brontes! Lend my sword the blessing of Thunder!*" As she slashed with her sword, the blade spat out arcs of electricity that flowed down the length of *Light Sword* that Kokabeil raised in defense. The lightning blackened the Fallen Angel's skin in a spots. "You need to learn how to speak to a lady."

"Is that so?" Kokabiel tried to push back on the blade but found the lightning was weakening his muscles in arm warding off the blade. He created a second *Light Sword* with the intent of attacking Erica, only he found himself having block {Durandal} as Xenovia was doing her best to bifurcate him. "Ah I wondered what you were going to do."

"Well, I can't have you impugning my honor." Xenovia smirked as she pressed down the blade. She could see where the blade of {Durandal} was actually beginning to cut through the *Light Sword*. It was a property her sword was known for, that it cut through anything physical or magical. "I am still a virgin as is Irina. That would make it hard to be whores."

"Ah well, that is a shame, everyone should get laid before they die." Kokabiel's sympathy was in no way faked. He was a battle fanatic, but that didn't mean he didn't enjoy other sins. "Ah well, it can't be helped." The Fallen Angel went to use his wings in manner to impale the two swordswomen, but his instincts screamed at him to block and incoming attacks. A moment later he was using five wings to hold off {Excalibur Mimic} and another five to hold off {Excalibur Destruction}. "A Fallen Angel using an Excalibur?"

"You should know that we can use them, Kokabiel-baka." Raynare was pressing the attack with both hands on the hilt of *Excalibur Destruction*. She was channeling a fair bit of her power into the blade in order to make sure she tied up as many wings as she could. Despite what most would have thought, this was actually an attack that had been worked out before hand. "Just give it up, you have no idea who you are facing in Xander-kun."

"They never do Ray-chan." Irina was pressing the assault with {Excalibur Mimic}. Unlike one in Raynare's hands, Irina had to use a form of attack that came on multiple fronts so the five wings had to block individual strikes. She was well practiced in restraining a person in such ways and despite Kokabiel's strength, he could not dislodge her. "He'll go the same way that all the idiots go."

"Oh, is that so, then maybe once I deal with you, I should just kill Alexander." Kokabiel dug down deep as he pushed back against his attackers. While they were doing an admirable job of keeping him pinned in place, their endurance was no match for his own and they would eventually tire. Unfortunately his struggles lead to a series of disasters. {Durandal} finally cut through his *Light Sword* and slashed deeply into his thigh. {Excalibur Destruction} sliced through two wings at the second knuckle. The spasm of pain caused {Excalibur Mimic} to penetrate one of his lungs and his kidney. Finally {Coure di Leone} slipped along the *Light Sword* and slice into his arm. Surprised at the success of their joint attack, the quartet of swordswomen were ill prepared for the massive blast of light energy he released sending them all sprawling across the battlefield. "You've actually hurt me? This fight is no longer interesting. I am going to… hurk!"

Anything that Kokabiel was going to say was interrupted by Koneko delivering a thunderous upper cut to the Fallen Angel's stomach. Those watching saw the tiny platinum blonde imitate a Shoryuken complete with the force of her blow actually igniting the air and the fact she initiated the attack by jumping just before throwing the punch. Kokabiel was forced skyward at an incredible rate. If he hadn't been struck in the gut he might have been able to arrest his ascent, but it was hard to concentrate on anything with the wind driven from his lungs. It's not as if his other injuries were helping. The Fallen Angel actually hit the barrier that the Sitri peerage had erected and that had been just above the cloud cover before falling back to the Earth. From the impact of Koneko's fist to striking the ground hard enough to crater it had taken a just over minute.

The ORC were not just watching in awe, the prone forms of Raynare, Irina, Xenovia, and Erica were quickly dragged to where Asia was quickly working to heal them with [Twight Healing]. The former Nun had been practicing with performing multiple healings at once using the {Protective Chains of Prometheus} to channel the revivifying energy. Xenova and Erica were still awake and alert, while Raynare and Irina had taken the brunt of attack and were blissfully unconscious. It was better the two of them were out of it as Asia has to set bones in their arms and legs before she could repair the breaks. Rias and Akeno were adding their own healing spells to the mix in order to help Xenova and Erica back to fighting form.

"Dare I hope that's it?" Kiba said as he moved to stand beside Xander. Despite his hopes that battle was over, he hadn't dismissed his sword. "I mean he was cut up pretty bad and that fall could not have been good. I mean sure he survived Rias, but that had to take most of his power, right?"

"No, that's not going to be enough." Xander muttered as he tightened his grip on *Rosenberg*. "This guy is on Glory's level. I'll bet you he gets out that crater and he's mostly healed. He'll be a little wary and he's used up some of his reserves but he's not down by any count."

"Balls." Koneko muttered as she readied herself for another assault. She understood she got lucky the first time, and it might not happen again. However she did understand what Xander meant.

"I'm sorry. My Pride got us into this. We should have left for the Underworld immediately and he would have called off the attack." Rias was genuinely contrite in her apology as she continued to heal Erica. Tears were running down her face as she imagined her friends dying facing Kokabiel. Each of the deaths were like a knife to heart, but it was Xander's that broke her. "Just run, I'll make this right."

"Not happening, I am way past my run and hide days." Xander chuckled a bit as he remembered his laughs-at-danger line from years past. "I've let enough of my friends die and I have lost too many women I loved. It's not happening again, Rias-hime. My place is between you and those who mean you harm."

"Oh if that isn't touching," the mocking tone of Kokabiel echoed across the athletic field as the Fallen Angel rose from the crater he'd created on impact. His robes were tattered and his body covered in blood, but he was very much alive and recovered from his wounds. "Should we give you a few moments to deliver some afterschool special speech about how friendship and love can overcome all? Or perhaps you want to make-out a little? It's moments like this that remind me that Father is dead and gone."

"He can't be dead!" Asia Argento vehemently denied Kokabiel's claim in a tone of voice that not many knew she was capable of producing: anger. The former nun was the kindest person in the world and had never had an angry word for anyone in her life until this moment. "You're lying! Stop it! Xander tell him to stop lying!"

"He can't." Rias replied for Xander she noted her fiancé was now levels of angry she had only seen once before. "We didn't want you find out this way, Asia. We only got confirmation just after we fought Valpir. We were figuring out how to break it to you."

"It's as I've feared." Erica muttered as she looked down at her blade. Having fought Rogue Gods on numerous occasions she knew it was entirely possible for one to die, even one as mighty as Jehovah. "It matters little there are still miracles and deeds done in his name. Through them He will live on forever."

"I…I…" Asia's mind had completely shutdown at that moment. She was kneeling beside Raynare and Irina whom she managed to heal enough they would survive, but not return to wakefulness. Thankfully the {Protective Chains of Prometheus} would guard her even as she stared ahead blankly.

"Asia? Asia?" Akeno waved her hand in front of Asia face and got no response in any shape or form. The Miko then used a small bolt of electricity to attempt to stimulate the girl with some pleasure, but there was still no response. "She's out of it."

"That's to be expected. A true believer like Asia would not be able to handle the news easily." Xenovia responded in a tone that spoke of her sympathy. "I have known for a while and even now I can still be overcome with grief when I am not distracted. I am unsure how Irina will take it when she finally does hear it."

"You know you didn't have to reveal that," Xander growled at Kokabiel as he took a step towards the Fallen Angel. He'd managed to be objective in battle, but Kokabiel's crass revelation that God was dead caused pain to his girls and that was unforgivable in his mind.

"It was the most effective way to neutralize your healer before I do this." Kokabiel responded by creating several massive *Light Spears*. Akeno and Rias managed to raise *Shields* to defend themselves as well as Irina and Raynare. Koneko, Kiba, and Erica managed to dodge the ones that would have impaled them. Asia was well defended as was Fluffy who was behind the healer. Xander used {Rosenberg} to destroy a *Light Spear* in a brilliant lightshow, but that blinded him to the second until it was too lated. A *Light Spear* that pierced through the heart of it's victim. "I never would have suspected that."

Xander stared in shock as he saw the tip of the *Light Spear* peeking out of Xenovia's back. A moment later it dissipated allowing him to see Kokabiel through the bloody hole in the Exorcist's chest. The bluenette collapsed back against the former Watcher. The woman just looked Xander in the eyes with a plea he had seen far too often since he'd met Buffy Summer and joined the fight against the devils. Xenovia was begging Xander to no let her death be in vain.

"Oh shit." Koneko summed up the thoughts of the entire ORC at the moment. There was no doubt in the platinum blonde's mind that they were about to witness Xander go all out.

"You just made a huge mistake, Kokabiel." Rias Gremory spoke for Xander again. "Threatening my life was bad. Making Asia cry compounded your error. Killing Xenovia, who he had accepted as one of his girls, will be your doom."

"Oh please, he is nothing but a weak lower class devil. Even with that trinket he stands no chance against me." Kokabiel laughed as he watched Xander carefully set Xenovia to the side. He ignored how quickly the gems on the [Boosted Gear] flashed. "It won't matter how many times he boosts himself, I'll just kill the rest of you and then him."

"*Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!* *Boost!*" Ddraig announced before declaring. "*Transfer*" *Rosenberg* briefly glowed with an emerald green before the weapons own golden radiance overtook the aura. Ddraig then continued announcing the rapid increase in power caused by Xander's rage. "*Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost* *Boost*"

"Time to put you down!" Xander raised the weapon skyward. Clouds began to gathered above and thicken as golden arcs of lightning played along the edges. "BY THE HEART OF SINEYA!" Xander called out the incantation that would trigger the He-Xan form. This time the lightning crashing down was a brilliant scarlet. The numerous bolts blasted through the Sitri barrier shattering it like cheap glass. As bolt after bolt of mystical lightning poured into Xander, he grew even beyond the normal transformation finally standing eight feet tall. There was no doubt the transferred power had led to at least some increase to the capabilities of the augmentation. "I HAVE THE POWER!"

"And what is that supposed to accomplish?" Kokabiel asked with a cocky grin. The Fallen Angel went to form another *Light Spear* but found himself knocked down from a powerful right cross to the face. "Oh, I see it increases your speed and strength." The Fallen Angel muttered before he spit out a molar. "It still won't be enough against me."

"But this will be, Fallen one." Ddraig taunted. "*Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker: Scalemail*" Before Kokabiel could even think to act, Xander was engulfed in red light as the *Scalemail* that made the [Boosted Gear] formed over his body. "It is time you pay for your foolish mistake."

"This is impossible! You haven't had the time to develop that form yet." Kokabiel tried to scramble away from the being in front of him. He has specifically targeted The Gremory and Sitri peerages as they wouldn't have anyone strong enough to stop him, but they would still be entertaining. Despite his boasts he was the weakest of the Cadre-class Grigori. His feats of battle prowess were entirely due to his recuperative powers. It was slower than the famed Phenex Immortality, but it didn't require magical power. Atop that his magical reserves recovered at an insanely rapid rate allowing him to use high power spells and attacks almost endlessly. Despite his advantages in combat, Kokabiel never willingly fought a battle where he didn't have the upper hand. His previous battles with Sirzechs were had been ambushes where Kokabiel had arranged odds of at least twenty to one, and even then the Fallen Angel had barely survived.

"I've got a minute to punish you, so I don't have time to explain." Xander growled out as he moved forwards faster than even Kokabiel could see. He had grabbed two of the man's wings and ripped them off tossing them aside. "Your wings remind me of a dirty crow's. Ray-chan's are like a raven's so much darker and prettier."

"Arrggh!" Kokabiel had a slightly delayed reaction to the pain as there wasn't even the sensation of ripping until his wings were gone. The Cadre class Fallen Angel swung a haymaker at Xander's head in an attempt to circumvent the guard the armored warrior presented. His efforts were for naught as Xander caught the fist in his gauntleted hand with a dull thwack. A moment later the arm was twisted as Xander delivered three rapid punches to Kokabiel's ribs. The dull crack with one of the blows made it obvious that the rib broke. "You bastard! I'll kill everyone you love!"

Xander continued to work over Kokabiel as he held the Fallen Angel's fist in his crushing grip. There was an audible cracking as he was exerting enough pressure to break the older beings knuckles. Blow after blow rained down on Kokabiel, each of them creating shockwaves from the sheer power Xander poured into beating his opponent. Untrained observers might have confused these blows with wild strikes, but each was measured and place precisely to cause maximum pain as well as damage. Xander was far too used to fighting the supernatural and had developed measures to cripple beings far stronger than him. Those techniques were all the more effective now.

"Nope, both sets of parents were married before I was concieved." Xander had released Kokabiel now that he was properly brutalized. He hadn't planned on actually being able to do even that much. Of course he hadn't imagined that Kokabiel would actually kill one his girls. They might have started off on the wrong foot, but Xenovia was entirely too easy for Xander to like. The rage that filled Xander was channeled into extra power from the [Boosted Gear] giving him far more power than he'd normally have possessed. That he was able to control himself while so enraged made him even more dangerous. "Even if I leave you alive, you'll never be a threat to anything but bedpans."

With {Rosenberg} in hand Xander made two quick slashes. Thin golden lines formed on Kokabiel's right elbow and left thigh. A moment later the two limbs separated from Kokabiel as the Fallen Angel bellowed in pain. Golden flames consumed the discarded appendages as well as cauterizing the wounds. Despite his pain, Kokabiel attempted to attack with his remaining wings, only Xander evaded them with sheer speed. It was obvious that in this form, Xander was far beyond the Fallen Angel. Unfortunately that would last two dozen more seconds.

"That's enough!" An authoritative male voice spoke out from behind him. "I have orders to take him back to Azazel for judgment and punishment." The speaker was a white armored figure with glowing wings and dragon's tail that marked his as the White Dragon Emperor. "So regrettably I must intercede in this chastisement."

"Once I am done, you can have him." Xander growled in a tone that brooked no argument as he sliced through Kokabiels other leg causing it to also burst into flames. Of course he did it so the flames would cauterize the bleeding knee as well. "Just two more cuts."

"I said that's enough." The white figure made to grab {Rosenberg} as Albion called out *Divide*. As his gauntleted hand closed around the haft the white figure screamed in pain and released the weapon. The gauntlet was charred through and showing a blackened hand underneath. "A Holy Axe? That's unexpected. If I hadn't used *Divide* on contact I probably would have lost that hand."

"White One, you should warn your partner not to grab my partner's weapons." Ddraig chuckled. "{Rosenberg} is rather fearsome and very loyal."

"I noticed that, Red One." The gems in White figure's armor glowed at it spoke. "Vali, you should apologize to Alexander for grabbing {Rosenberg}. It is bad form to grab the weapon of a man dispensing justice."

"And is he going to apologize for my hand?" The now named Vali shot back a little angry as he examined his charred hand. Of course as he did that, Xander returned to dismembering Kokabiel. The Cadre class Fallen Angel was now short both arms and legs as well as the pair of wings that had been torn off. "Would you please stop chopping him up? I was asked to retrieve him for punishment."

"I'd apologize, but you're the idiot that grabbed a glowing axe. Don't worry, the burn will heal normally. As for stopping on the chopping, he killed one of my girls." Xander replied with the eerie calm that sometimes comes with extreme rage. His anger was focused on what was left of Kokabiel, but it was clear he would brook no interference. "I really should take his head."

"Then take the lower one. I have strict instructions to bring him back alive and I'd rather not have our duel before you unlock the Balance Breaker normally." Vali had actually paused for a moment to consider the situation. "Besides, I think your King just reincarnated the Exorcist. So you might need to ease tensions there."

"Just kill me already." Kokabiel pleaded as tears fell down his cheeks. His wounds were not healing and that was a first for him. Even when he fell, he'd retained his immense healing factor. The Fallen Angel was terrified as he'd lost limbs before, but he'd always felt his healing start to reconstruct the missing appendage.

"Death is a release." Xander replied before {Rosenberg} was used one last time on the Fallen Angel. It was not attack he would normally perform on anyone but a rapist, but in this case he was just angry enough to not feel any sympathy for the Grigori. "And here you go, Vali. Sorry we couldn't meet under better conditions."

"It is what it is, Xander. I dare say this is a more cordial meeting than most bearers of the Heavenly Dragons experience." Vali replied as he hoisted up the torso of the Fallen Angel. A moment later he was holding the feebly struggling grigori at arm's length and had his head turned in the opposite direction. "Aw hell, he shit himself. I do not want to fly all the way back to Azazel having to smell that. "

"There is a carwash about a kilometer that way." Xander pointed in the direction for his new associate. The stench of the Fallen Angel's excrement was particularly foul. While the aspect of the primal made him resistant to such smells sickening him, he still did not appreciate them. "It'd work better than the pool."

"You have my thanks." Vali nodded before he took off in the direction of the carwash as fast as he could fly. "We will meet again soon."

"Time is up!" Ddraig announced and the *Balance Breaker: Scalemail* dissolved away leaving just the enhanced He-Xan form standing before a few piles of ass and two bloodied fallen angel wings.

Irina Shido had not been awake to hear Kokabiel reveal the truth about God's demise, but that had been due to a visit from Sineya. As with the last time they had met, Irina found herself one of the Chosen. Once again he was a Slayer, although this time there was no taint of darkness or death in the empowerment. She had come to consciousness in time to see Rias Gremory using the Knight of her {Evil Pieces} to reincarnate Xenovia. It took her brain a moment to process that fact, but the moment she had the Exorcist lunged towards the Gremory Heiress with the intent of knocking the woman's teeth down her throat. Normally, Irina would not be this hostile, she had never been even as a Slayer back in Africa, but Xenovia was like a sister and she never had one of them before. Only one thing kept her from actually striking Rias, the fact that Koneko intercepted her and had her in a chicken wing hold.

"Calm down." Koneko uttered in her usual monotone as she applied some pressure. The petite platinum blonde was a little surprised about how much of her strength she had to use. Irina was far stronger than before, but it still wasn't a match for Rook strength.

"Don't tell me to calm down, your King just…" Irina started to respond out of anger, but then it began to fade away. She was reminded of how her first empowerment had magnified her emotions for a short while. It was actually a common symptom, which spelled disaster if it was that time of the month. "She just made Xenovia into a Devil."

"Believe it or not, I had her permission." Rias Gremory stated with a sad smile. She had badgered Xander into teaching her the spell that would let her speak to the recently deceased. Using the particular incantation left her feeling unclean, but it was far better than hazarding a guess in these situations. She lucked out with Kiba, Gasper, and Asia, but Xander's reaction had educated her on how badly some people could take it. Xenovia's spirit had been rather sanguine about becoming a devil, which was probably due to her already being excommunicated for reporting to the Cardinals what she had learned.

"She would never do that!" Irina spat out as she glared at Rias as she refuted the redhead's claim. Struggling against Koneko's iron grip she dragged the petite girl a few inches towards Rias.

"I did, Irina-chan." Xenovia sighed as she sat up. There was a deep purple bruise visible through the hole in her combat unitard. Between the {Evil Piece} and Akeno's healing magic the flesh had been restored, but there would still be a mark for a while. Once Asia was recovered that could be healed. "I didn't want to die before I've gotten to live. I'm sorry."

"But… You'll be excommunicated! They'll label you a traitor!" Irina actually shed tears as she said that. The young woman's legs buckled a bit, but she managed to stay standing. As she ceased struggling against Koneko the younger girl released her. "They'll order me to stay away from you…" She finished in a small defeated voice.

"And since when has Irina Shido obeyed stupid orders like that?" Xander said as he strode up to the group. He was still in his massive eight foot tall He-Xan form as he knew the moment he dropped it he'd be useless for a day or two. "I remember you decking Angel when he tried to order you to allow them to keep Dana. Buffy gave me so much hell for siccing my Slayers on him." Xander chuckled.

"He deserved it. Thinking he could do a better job helping her than you and Faith." Irina muttered even as she was getting some feeling back in her arm. "But this is different. The Church has resources and authority that Wolfram and Hart wishes it did. They can pull our visas at a moment's notice and declare us terrorists. Well, they can't do that to Xenovia now that she is part of a Gremory Peerage, but I am free game."

"I still have a rook." Rias offered a possible solution to the dilemma to Irina's situation. "You would be welcome to join my family."

"No, becoming a Devil is not something I would want to do." Irina shook her head in the negative. "I have always served God and that isn't about to change even if two of my loved ones are Devils. I do appreciate the offer in the spirit it is meant, Rias-sama." Irina offered a formal bow to the Gremory Heiress. "Unfortunately, with Kokabiel defeated, my mission is complete and I fear the Church will not allow me to stay near such temptation."

"So this is goodbye?" Xenovia asked as she rose to her feet and approached her first friend. The blunette offered her hand and was surprised when Irina forwent shaking it and instead hugged her. "I'll miss you."

"Just be good so I don't get sent to hunt you down." Irina whispered back as she did her best to keep from crying. Over the girl's shoulder she locked eyes with Xander. "Take care of her, Xander-sama."
