Author's Note: Since it has never been stated in any media, I'm going to assume that Sadala's gravity is like Planet Vegeta, with 10 times the gravity of Earth.

Age 516, Month 4, Planet Sadala, Universe 7

Peparia rotated her right shoulder to loosen up the joint, ready for training. She set the gravity of the room to twice the normal gravity, since she was just getting used to gravity training, and entered.

What she saw was unexpected. Or rather, whom she saw. Her father, Okara, was there, waiting for her. And unlike his daughter, he didn't seem to be struggling with the gravity at all.

"Dad?" Peparia said, confused. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to help you get used to gravity training. The family standard is 10 times after all, and I can help you get used to things," Okara said, walking over to the control panel. He changed the setting to 10 times gravity, and Peparia was immediately pulled down by the force.

Slowly, Peparia got to her feet, completely overwhelmed by forces pulling her down, but unwilling to relent. If this were the family standard, she'd put in her all to get used to it. "What do you want me to do?"

"Start running some laps," Okara said, completely unphased by the gravity. Peparia knew that he got this way by his own gravity training, likely at much, much higher gravity at this point.

Peparia struggled to move forward, each step felt like a thousand kilograms pressing down on her. The strain was unimaginable, beyond what Peparia thought she could handle.

"Be glad I'm not having you wear weighted clothing," Okara said sternly. "Now go, run!"

Peparia managed to make it around the track twice before collapsing. Her father dropped a jug of water in front of Peparia. Struggling to her feet, she picked up the two-liter container, but even that was a struggle to get it to her mouth. But she managed to get the water down before dropping the bottle to the ground.

"Now, pushups," her father said. "Go!"

This continued for an hour; her father presenting Peparia with a simple task that was a massive labor in under this much gravity. Sit-ups, jumping jacks, squats, etc.…everything was torture. And when her father finally turned off the gravity, Peparia felt light as a feather. Sure, her muscles felt like rubber bands, her lungs burned, and she was soaked with sweat, but her movements were so light and easy at this point.

"I know you planned on training at twice gravity today, and you can still do that. But once a week, I want you under 10 times. Are we clear?" Okara said, offering his daughter a towel.

"Crystal," Peparia said, taking it and wiping her face.

They walked out of the gravity chamber, but before Peparia could enter the locker room to shower and change, Okara spoke up.

"Listen, I didn't come here just for your training. I needed to talk to you in private, and this was the best way I could think to get it," Okara said. "As you know, we've recently signed the peace treaty with the Chilli. One hundred years of violence has finally come to an end."

"Yeah, I know," Peparia said, wrapping the town around her neck. "Arugu and I have been talking about how we will need to handle future conflicts between us. The last thing we need is another hundred years of blood."

"And as the named heirs, I'm glad you're thinking about the future," Okara said. "The future belongs to the young, after all."

"Thank you," Peparia said. "I want to make you proud."

"My darling girl, you've always made me proud. Nothing will change that," Okara said, putting his hands on his daughter's shoulders. "Not even the answer to my next question will change that."

Peparia smiled, but she could tell that the tone had become serious.

"Now, my talks with Quash, the head of the Chilli family, have led us to an interesting proposition; a blood union," Okara said.

"You want us to have a kid together?" Peparia asked, confused as to where this was going.

"Yes, but not right now. Maybe a few years from now, but we can't push for this right away," Okara said. "And, if you're willing, I'd like you to carry it."

Peparia was shocked, of course, but she wasn't opposed to the idea. "Sex with a cute guy from the Chilli family? Sounds fun to me."

"Oh? I didn't realize that you…" Okara said, before being cut off.

" That I'm into guys too? Yeah. It's just that Lottus made me realize I was into girls first," Peparia said, casually.

"I see," Okara said.

"I'd want to talk to Lottus before we decide on who and when," Peparia said. "I mean, if I'm just going to breed with a Chilli, I don't see any reason I should break up with Lottus."

"Understandable," Okara said. "And don't worry, this won't be happening for a few years. At least until you're full grown."

"I understand," Peparia said. "Now, can I go get my shower now? I'm starting to feel gross."

Okara chuckled. "Go ahead. Dinner will be ready when you're done."
