Peparia returned to the Time Nest after finishing her meal at the Saiyan restaurant and found that there was a scroll with a note next to it. The note said "Here's the scroll on Vegeta's life. I'm sorry I can't be here with you for this one, but I have other responsibilities to tend to. If you need me, I'll be in my house here in the Time Nest. -Chronoa"

Peparia sighed, not looking forward to seeing how her descendant turned out. But upon opening the scroll, she found a tragic tale very similar to her own.

Vegeta spent his early years in privilege, though he was the son of royalty instead of nobility. However, Vegeta's life started its downward spiral almost immediately; he watched his father be humiliated by Lord Beerus early on, and had been off world with Raditz and Nappa when his home planet was destroyed.

He spent the next 25 years working under the thumb of the man who destroyed his planet, though during that time, he thought a meteor wiped out his world. This made Vegeta into a bitter, ruthless and brutal man who disposed with anything he found useless, like the crippled Nappa in his battle on Earth with Kakarot.

From there, Vegeta went to Namek to gather the Dragon Balls to wish for immortality so he could exploit the Zenkai boost to kill Frieza, something he did while on the planet despite not having said immortality before the wish.

Vegeta kept proclaiming himself as a Super Saiyan, completely unaware of what triggered the transformation, until he died slowly and painfully in front of Kakarot, whom he told about what Frieza did to the Saiyans and himself personally.

He was revived by the Dragon Balls shortly after Kakarot became a Super Saiyan, only to be wished back to Earth. It was Vegeta who suggested that they wished Kakarot's remains back to Earth so his soul could return to his body when they thought Kakarot had died in the explosion of Namek, but since Kakarot wasn't dead, the Dragon refused, as it was not allowed to kill someone. From there, Vegeta blasted off into space to look for Kakarot, wanting him to teach Vegeta how to become a Super Saiyan.

Vegeta returned to Earth at some point and saw the newly cybernetic Frieza be taken down by the future version of his son, the version that Peparia knew personally. From there, Vegeta spent the next three years in preparation for the Artificial Humans, building a relationship with his future wife Bulma, and training and trying to become a Super Saiyan.

But it was Vegeta's Super Saiyan transformation that got Peparia's attention. Like with Peparia, Vegeta's first transformation was one of self-hatred. But where Peparia's self-hatred was caused by grief, Vegeta's was caused by loathing of personal weakness, of how he'd never surpass Kakarot. His rage was so great that it finally triggered the state, which was a moment of joy for the fallen Saiyan Prince.

He returned to Earth in time for the Artificial Human battles, taking out 19, though he let 20 go so he'd have time to heal. This was a mistake, since 20 released 17 and 18, the Artificial Humans of his future son's time, who then managed to defeat Kakarot's friends, with 18 breaking Vegeta's arm while Vegeta was in his Super Saiyan state, something Vegeta would have thought impossible at the time. Then they left and continued their search for Kakarot, as their job was to kill him.

Vegeta then decided that there must be something beyond Super Saiyan, and rushed off trying to figure it out, only returning once when Piccolo suddenly outclassed him due to the Namekian merging with the Earth's Kami. He then stormed off again, only to be found by Kakarot, who told Vegeta about the Room of Spirit and Time, a room where one day on the outside equaled one year on the inside, allowing an extreme amount of training in a short period of time. Vegeta spent one year in there with Trunks, having evolved into what Peparia called "Super Saiyan Grade 2", which was a bulked up the user while slightly slowing their speed. He also discovered Super Saiyan Grade 3 but chose not to use it due to the extreme speed penalty.

Vegeta and Trunks went off to face off against Cell, who had an extreme power boost, and Peparia rolled her eyes again after seeing how arrogant Vegeta got after a power up. And this arrogance gave Cell the chance he needed to gain his perfect form, a form that outclassed Vegeta and Trunks once again.

Vegeta went back into the Room of Spirit and Time, learning from the refinement that Kakarot and Gohan had learned in there, but was still useless the battle against Cell. In fact, he was a detriment to that battle, charging in toward Cell after he killed Trunks, whom Vegeta had finally bonded with. And while Peparia could sympathize with his grief, it damaged Gohan for the beam struggle to come. And while he did help Gohan in the end, Vegeta's brash actions ended up causing more trouble than he was worth.

Vegeta was listless for the next seven years after Kakarot refused to be resurrected with the Namekian Dragon Balls, settling into a role of a family man, one that left him content, but bored out of his mind. And when Kakarot came back for 1 day, Vegeta's old "Saiyan Pride" returned, wanting to settle the score with Kakarot once and for all.

Vegeta's stupid pride caused him to allow the wizard Babadi to mind control him, though Vegeta's will was stronger than Babadi's magic. However, Vegeta still aided in Majin Buu's resurrection by his unrelenting desire to settle the score, claiming he "didn't care about anyone or anything except his battle with Kakarot", and that he "returned to the evil way he was before", something that Kakarot called him out on; he could tell that Vegeta still loved his family, refusing to allow them to be harmed even as he murdered countless innocent people at the World Tournament arena.

Vegeta's stupid pride and regret caused him to knock out Kakarot so he could "take care of Buu", which caused him to sacrifice his own life in an attempt to destroy Buu once and for all. A sacrifice that ended up being pointless.

He was returned to his body by the lord of the dead Yemma, fused with Kakarot, freed those Buu absorbed, and was then forced to admit that Kakarot was better than him. That not only was Kakarot stronger than him, but he was also a better man than him.

It was this admission that Vegeta carried into the future; he wanted to surpass Kakarot, but there was no more score to settle. But eventually, Lord Beerus came to Earth, bringing back his traumatic youth and the humiliation his father experienced. He cowered around the God of Destruction, only rising to the occasion when Beerus slapped his wife. He raged, got temporarily stronger than Kakarot, and battled Beerus for a short period before Kakarot returned to Earth and brought knowledge of the Super Saiyan God ritual.

From there, Vegeta entered the realm of godly power himself, though he did so through training under a master, something that was FAR more palatable to Peparia than the ritual. And eventually, he evolved the Super Saiyan form to use god ki, turning the Mark of Yamoshi into something unseen before.

Peparia sympathized with Vegeta at this point, but she still didn't like him. Unlike Kakarot, he was still a product of the bastardization of her culture. He still found the Super Saiyan form as something worthy of achieving instead of a mark of trauma. And he was still the savage brute that all of her people became after escaping Sadala.

Peparia yawned and checked the clock on her computer. She had been up for 22 hours at this point, and decided it was time for bed. She checked in with Chronoa, who showed her to her quarters. And after stripping out of her clothes, Peparia went to be bed for the first time in 300 years.
