Peparia once again entered the Time Nest for another mission. It was during the battle against Frieza, a fight that Peparia was looking forward to, as he was directly responsible for the final downfall and near extinction of her species. And while she still looked down upon Saiyans like Vegeta for being the savage brutes they'd devolved into, she still didn't like the fact that they had been destroyed thanks to Frieza's fear.

During the changed version of events, a powered up Frieza managed to kill Vegeta, Piccolo and Krillin, and was fighting Gohan while Kakarot was still in the healing pod from his battle with Vegeta and Ginyu. Kakarot was forced leave the healing pod early trying and failing to save his son, meaning that not only was he not at full strength, but he didn't receive the Zenkai boost he needed to go toe to toe with Frieza.

Peparia once again took the scroll and concentrated on it, entering the past during the Namek war. The Dragon Balls had turned to stone due to the death of the Grand Elder, whose life was tied to the health of the Dragon Balls. Frieza was enraged, and the warriors she was meant to fight beside were terrified.

Peparia felt Frieza's ki, and in his current form, his strength was very close, yet still below, to Peparia's. This excited her as she entered the fray, since she was curious about how strong Frieza's final form would be with this evil ki upgrade.

The Earthlings were afraid, but Vegeta was cocky, not knowing how strong Frieza's final form actually was. Peparia had to hold back to ensure that she didn't kill the monster before Kakarot was ready. Vegeta demanded that Frieza transform, something he learned Frieza could do during his battle with Zarbon, but Frieza did something unexpected; he bypassed his next two forms, going into his final form at 1% power.

This power surged above Peparia, meaning this would be a good fight. But Peparia knew that even with the enhanced power that Frieza had gotten, he still wasn't completely out of her league. In fact, if Peparia were to transform right now, she'd be able to defeat Frieza easily at this stage, but she needed to keep history on track, so she had to hold back.

The battles were brutal; Vegeta bowed out quickly after Frieza transformed, but it wasn't long until a powered-up Piccolo joined the fray. But Piccolo's newfound strength wasn't enough to hold out against Frieza, and he was discarded quickly, forcing Peparia to fight alone for a short while.

Vegeta eventually rejoined the battle after receiving a Zenkai boost thanks to a grave injury inflicted by Krillin and healed by Dende, and this was supposed to put Vegeta on Frieza's level temporarily, but due to Frieza's power up, he was still below him. It was time for Vegeta's thrashing, and Peparia watched with a slight smile as the "Prince of all Saiyans" got his comeuppance.

However, Frieza eventually noticed Dende and what he was doing, and he wouldn't allow Vegeta, Peparia and Gohan to exploit the Zenkai. With one Death Beam, Frieza killed the healer. This made Peparia angry, as one who was truly strong didn't feel the need pick off the weak, but she knew this was how history was supposed to go.

It wasn't long before Frieza took down Vegeta, but thanks to Peparia wearing Frieza down, Kakarot had enough time to finish healing and enter the battlefield. Vegeta, now dying from a fatal wound, told Kakarot about what Frieza had done to the Saiyans, and what he had done to Vegeta personally, doing all he could to instill some sense of Saiyan pride into Kakarot so he'd avenge their race.

And that was when Kakarot accepted his nature, with all the darkness that came with it. He buried Vegeta, and then introduced himself as "a Saiyan, raised on Earth", dropping into a combat stance with Frieza.

Peparia, as was necessary to ensure that history remained on track, backed off slightly, but remained alert. At some point, Kakarot was going to need time to charge up his Genki Dama, at which point Peparia would need to go all out on Frieza to grant Kakarot the time he needed.

The fight went as was supposed to; Frieza had the advantage the whole time, but Kakarot was holding his own. But he had to be worn down, forcing him to use the Kaio-ken at a 20 times multiplier, which put him temporarily at Frieza's 50% power, but since it wasn't a permanent boost, it wasn't doing enough damage to Frieza.

But when Peparia and Kakarot's eyes met, she knew it was time for the Genki Dama. Peparia cracked her knuckles and began to power up herself, bringing herself to full strength. She then lunged at Frieza while Kakarot began gathering what he needed for his attack.

Frieza, who couldn't sense ki, didn't realize what was going on. He was getting angrier and angrier at Peparia as they fought while remaining completely oblivious to Kakarot's Genki Dama. Frieza still had the advantage, of course, but Peparia was finally able to fight at full strength without worrying about killing her opponent early.

Eventually, Kakarot was finished gathering energy and tossed the Genki Dama at Frieza, overwhelming him. Peparia watched Kakarot and his friends celebrate from a hidden spot, completely unaware of what was to come. But Peparia was certain that Kakarot could handle the upcoming battle. She was just about to pull the scroll from her belt when Frieza appeared from behind her. He grabbed her by the mouth and shot Piccolo with a Death Beam attack. Frieza then fired a ki blast through the hand that was holding Peparia, sending her into a rock wall.

Peparia clamored out of the wall, spitting blood on the ground. She had been careless and was angry because of it. She was sticking around now, whether Kakarot needed her help or not. She was going to make Frieza suffer.

But while Peparia was getting out of the rubble, Frieza had killed Krillin, Kakarot's best friend. He had crushed Krillin to dust, a painful way to die. And this finally sent Kakarot over the edge. His rage was overwhelming him, his power flared. And as his hair flared gold, Peparia smirked slightly; even though this form was a mark of tragedy on the soul, it WAS what Frieza destroyed their people to avoid having to face.

Kakarot glared at Frieza, and he began freaking out. Kakarot, barely in control of himself, shouted at Gohan to get Piccolo's critically injured body and get them off world. Gohan protested, he told Gohan to "Do it now, while I still have control over myself!" This frightened Gohan, but he agreed, picking up Piccolo and flew off.

Frieza, however, was terrified. He started shouting about how Saiyans only transformed into "giant monkies", and Kakarot's rage burned brightly at this. He told him "You know what I am. The Legendary Warrior, pure of heart but awakened by fury. I am the Super Saiyan Son Goku!"

But Frieza's enhanced power was still a little beyond Kakarot's, forcing Peparia to transform herself. She held her hand out in front of her and concentrated, closing her fist as she transformed. She then rushed Frieza, punching him right in the cheek.

"Two of you?! How?!" Frieza shouted, panicking, scrambling to dodge Peparia's attacks. "Dammit! DAAAAAAAAAMMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!"

Kakarot and Peparia began wailing on Frieza, completely overwhelming him. And soon enough, the time came for Frieza to destroy the planet. Gathering up as much energy he could while still at 50% power, he created a giant ball of ki that he threw into the planet. But it wasn't enough to destroy the planet outright, much less kill them.

"Did you really think that was enough to kill 2 Super Saiyans?" Peparia shouted as the world began crumbling around them. "You'd have needed to be at 100% to have a chance against us!"

Frieza's rage burned even brighter, and shout. "Very well, I'll show you my true power!" He gathered his ki and began to bulk up, his muscles increased to twice their size at the very least. Combining that with the purple aura powering him up, this made Frieza very dangerous.

But even with all this, Frieza was still not strong enough to overpower 2 Super Saiyans. And though the only one in full control of their power was Peparia, she and Kakarot coordinated their efforts as they wore Frieza's increased power and stamina down until it finally dissipated.

And this was the point when the Porunga, the Namekian Dragon, had reappeared, meaning the Namekians and Grand Elder had been revived. This meant that Kakarot and Frieza's battle was winding down.

"Ah, so King Kaio used the Dragon Balls," Goku said, relieved. He looked over at Peparia and smiled. "I don't know much about you, but you really helped me out." He looked back at Frieza. "Let me be the one to finish this, though."

Peparia nodded, powering down, knowing the battle was all but over, and removed the scroll. She concentrated on it, and returned to the Time Nest, but just as she began to dissipate, she heard a "Thank you," from Kakarot.

The debriefing went as expected, with Trunks remarking on Mira and Towa not appearing to interfere.

"Didn't they, though? I mean, Frieza got that power boost that Towa has granted the villains that entire battle," Peparia said.

"But they said they'd kill anyone who got in their way," Chronoa said. "Mira should have attacked but didn't."

"Might be a whim," Peparia said. "But yeah, I'm concerned too. Frieza was tough, and Mira was stronger than him. I need to be ready. Trunks, come on, you're training with me this time."

"Oh…Okay!" Trunks said, following Peparia out. If Frieza was going to push her this much, she needed to be ready to face against Cell and eventually Buu if she'd be able to continue as a Time Patroller.

But she was looking forward to it. Mira was the goal post right now; his strength was far beyond Peparia's, and she was looking forward facing him again.
