"So, how experienced with gravity training are you?" Peparia asked Trunks as she approached the gravity chamber's number pad. She had stopped by her apartment to change into her weighted clothes, ready to train with her descendant.
"Um…besides my training in the Room of Spirit and Time? I'm not," Trunks said hesitantly.
Peparia sighed heavily. This was going to take more time than she thought. "So, I have to start you at the bottom," she said, placing her fingers on her the bridge of her nose in frustration.
"What's the big deal anyway?" Trunks asked. "I can catch up, you know."
"Sadala's gravity is ten times that of both this world and the world you were born on," Peparia said. "And I'm used to training at 400 times Sadala's gravity."
Trunks' jaw dropped. "4000 times Earth's gravity?"
"Yes," Peparia said. "Though much higher is dangerous, no matter how strong you are. But adding weighted clothing can increase the pace of the training."
"…Wow," Trunk said. "Pureblooded Saiyans are intense."
Peparia rolled her eyes and punched a couple of numbers on the keypad. "Now, this chamber is set up for Sadalan gravity, so I'm setting it for 20. That will be 200 times the gravity outside it, which will be a good starting point for a young Super Saiyan."
"Are you sure I'm ready for it?" Trunks asked.
"Kakarot trained at 100 times Earth's gravity for 6 days during his journey between Earth and Namek, and he was stronger than the Ginyu Force by the time he landed. And that's not even counting the Zenkai boost that put him on Frieza's level. And you're considerably stronger than that," Peparia said, opening the door. "Now come on, I need to train."
Trunks hesitantly entered the chamber, and though he felt the pressure, it wasn't overwhelming. Granted, it did force him down at first, but he was able to stand and move without too much difficulty. He managed to run, jump and fire ki blasts without any trouble.
Peparia grinned and headed over to the keypad. "Alright, then let's boost it to 50," she said. And with that boost, Trunks was immediately floored. Peparia smirked, and then glared at Trunks. "Get up."
Trunks grunted as he slowly got to his feet. "Just like my father's training," he said.
"I don't appreciate the comparison, but I can't argue with his methods," Peparia said. "We NEED to get stronger. Frieza was stronger than he was supposed to be. I should have outclassed him easily if he'd been as he was in the true history. And Mira? I don't even know how much stronger he is than us, but I'd wager he's as strong as Buu, if not stronger. We need to be stronger than that, and the fastest way Saiyans get stronger is sparring with each other under high gravity. And there's not a single other Saiyan here that's on our level, so I need your help to get stronger."
It took a couple of hours and a half a dozen Senzu beans, but Trunks managed to catch up to Peparia's strength. And it was that point when Peparia could begin her own training. She dropped into a fighting stance and readied herself. "Come at me when you're ready," Peparia said.
And once again, Trunks lunged at Peparia with his sword, though now that Peparia knew that this sword wasn't anything special. It was simply a blade that Trunks surrounded with his own ki to make it more durable. This meant that Peparia was able to block the blade with her gauntlets. She deflected the blade and came in with a powerful punch to the gut.
She continued her assault of gut punches before pushing in with a punch to the jaw. Then, she spun around with a roundhouse kick that knocked Trunks across the room.
"Sloppy," Peparia said, standing back at full measure. "You're wasting movement. Stop wasting energy!"
Trunks' anger flared and rushed once more at Peparia with his sword. Peparia dodged this time, and nailed Trunks once again with an uppercut, this time following through into the air, and Peparia continued into another roundhouse kick which caused Trunks to fly across the room. She rushed behind him and nailed him between the shoulders with a sledgehammer strike. "Come on! You've beaten the Artificial Humans and Cell in a death match! Tighten up your movements and give me a challenge!"
This went on for another hour before Peparia finally gave up. She finally used her full strength to knock Trunks out, realizing that he lacked the skill necessary to give Peparia the proper training. She dragged the boy out of the gravity chamber and tossed him outside. She then returned to the gravity chamber and ramped the gravity up to 400 times Sadala's gravity. And as she activated the room's training robots, she realized that she'd need to train with the heroes of the multiverse to get the training she needed to surpass her enemies.
