Peparia floated above Tokitoki City, looking for a mentor she hadn't trained with yet. Over the last 2 weeks, she'd trained under everyone she could find, and while almost all weren't in her strength league, all provided something interesting.

The Earthlings all taught her either new techniques or new ways to approach problems. Krillin, despite being one of the most pleasant mentors to be around, was the least useful; she already knew an ability similar to the Kienzan, and while she did learn the Kamehameha from him, it was too similar to her Gallick Gun that there was no point in implementing his techniques into her repertoire.

Yamcha was another relatively useless mentor for Peparia, though again, he was a good man who was pleasant to be around. His Rogafufuken was just a series of blows, he also knew the Kamehameha, but his Soukidan, while interesting, was not a technique she'd be using in combat.

Tenshinhan was a useful master, though. Sure, his Kikoho wasn't something she'd implement, and his Volleyball technique was another series of blows, but his Taiyoken was a great utility technique. It allowed Peparia send a flash of white light at her opponent, temporarily blind them and either escape or charge up an attack. This was a technique that all the Earthlings had learned, and even Kakarot, thanks to just how many uses one could think up for it.

Piccolo also provided a useful technique, the Makankosappo. As she had seen during the battle with Raditz, the attack could drill through an opponent and kill them so long as they couldn't regenerate. He also taught her the Masenko, though like the Kamehameha, it was too similar to the Gallick Gun for her to implement into her repertoire.

She used Vegeta as somebody to get stronger, as his Saiyan biology perfectly suited her need to push beyond her limits, even though she knew fully well that Vegeta was holding back due to his God forms.

Frieza had been less useful than Peparia had hoped, because unlike all the heroic mentors, this Frieza wasn't in his strongest form; it was Frieza during the Namek Wars, before his cybernetic upgrade, resurrection and training to achieve his Golden Form or his further training to master it, so he only had access to the power he should have had when Peparia fought him. His moves were basic, as she could already use his Death Beam, and she could already wrap herself in ki to rush at her opponent. And his strongest techniques, the Death Ball and Supernova attacks that destroyed Namek and Vegeta respectively, were simply giant balls of ki that had enough power to wipe out a planet. Nothing special there.

Training with Gotenks had been…strange. His techniques were strong yet silly, and most were rather useless in real combat. The Die Die Missile Barrage was simply a volley of ki blasts, and his Galactic Doughnut would leave her open. Only the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack had any use, as they were ghosts that exploded upon impact. Still, she didn't see too many ways to implement such a strange technique, so she just filed it away in her memory and moved on.

But today, she was looking for one warrior for her to train against: Perfect Cell. And while his techniques weren't anything she hadn't seen yet, it was his power and unique biology that made him a perfect training partner. He was Saiyan enough to get stronger as they fought, Frieza enough to have his extreme durability, Piccolo enough to regenerate from grievous injuries, and Earthling enough to show great creativity when it came to use of techniques. Only Buu with Gohan absorbed would make a better opponent, though she doubted Chronoa could control him enough to make him an effective trainer.

She floated down to Cell, who looked up and smiled. "You must be the one the Kaioshin of Time told me about," he said. "I am Perfect Cell, and I am from a timeline where I won the Cell games. And just as my timeline was about to be pruned, she told me that I could survive so long as I trained her Time Patrollers."

"Sounds familiar," Peparia said.

"Yes, well, I was told that I would be training a Saiyan, you, would need to surpass the version of me who was defeated by Gohan. Who knows? You might even be able to challenge me one day," Perfect Cell said.

"How thoughtful," Peparia said sarcastically. Then her tone turned serious. "I need to prepare for Buu's strength as well, and Mira's strength is still unknown."

Perfect Cell chuckled. "Oh yes, the demonic me. Fitting that Towa would use my premise as a template to create the strongest warrior."

"What do you mean?" Peparia asked. She thought Mira was just a strong demon, but a Cell like demon?

"They didn't tell you?" Perfect Cell said, grinning. "Yes, based on what Trunks and the Kaioshin of Time could gather, he has DNA from Earthlings, the Namekian Nail, Frieza and from several Saiyans combined into his demonic make up. And though he can't absorb beings like I used to, he does get more powerful when he's given energy battle energy gained from the changes made in history."

"Like how Majin Buu was revived," Peparia said, irritated that she didn't know this before. This meant toying against opponents like she had been doing was a bad idea.

"Which is why we need you prepared to fight him," Perfect Cell said. "Come, we need you trained and ready to fight him. I'd love to see how he reacts to my student's new power. I have a room similar to the Room of Spirit and Time, that will allow us to train for extended periods of time with only a short time passing on the outside. But don't worry about aging; the Kaioshin of Time has made things so we won't age in that chamber."

Peparia smiled as she followed Perfect Cell into the Time Chamber; she may have 30 years left until her body started to fall apart, but losing years at a time training would make her less effective as a Time Patroller. Training was starting to become more difficult as it was, which is why she needed people to train with to get the most out of it. And this…Good?...Neutral?...version of Cell would be the best being to train her. And next time Mira showed up, she'd be ready.
