The next day we were ready to continue the search for the sword. I hope that we'll be the first to find Excalibur and save all of Camelot. That's true. I wonder what will happen next.
Then Ayden screeched. I looked up at the bird and Garret looked happy. He then told us the good news. He said, "Ayden's spotted Excalibur!" I got happy. Garret then said, " It must be near! Come on, let's go!"
Kayley, Garret and I ran to the spot where the falcon spotted the sword. I then got confused. The sword is not anywhere in sight. Kayley then said while she saw a belt from the sword and Ayden gave it her, "Look! This must be from Excalibur. But where's the sword?" I then asked, "If I were a sword, where would I be?"
Garret then said that someone took it. What? Well whoever stole it, that creature or person will pay. I then looked down and you know what I saw? I saw a giant footprint! Then Kayley blamed Garret for stopping.
Why is she blaming him? It's not like his fault or anything. It doesn't make sense to me. Garret then told Kayley to be quiet. He then turned to me and said, "Just keep your voice down a bit." I nodded my head.
I have to keep it down. Kayley then said that she needs to save her mother. I know that she has to, but I want to help out. Garret said that he needed to hear. Then an arrow came out of nowhere and hit Garret.
Kayley and I got shocked. We shouted, "Garret!" Ruber and his men must've caught up with us. I have to do something. Kayley and I got to Garret away from that nasty man. We then turned back. They were gaining on us!
I have to stop them. Kayley saw what I was doing and she stopped me and said, "Emma, you're going to need help. Let me help you." I thought of this for a good few seconds. Then I nodded. We then saw a rope of some kind. We looked at each other and nodded. We both have the same idea.
We then grabbed onto some strange white rope and threw it at to the strange creatures. We make a great team. We then went back to Garret and we started to find somewhere he can rest and heal. Then rain came pouring down. I hope that we find shelter soon.
Kayley and I looked up into the sky. Rain was coming down alright. We then found a spot for shelter. It may not look like much, but it would have to do. That would be like the only place. It looked like a small cave to me. I am worried for Garret.
Kayley was mostly worried too.
