"You're the-"

A low laugh laugh began, "Yes precisely," He said before she could finish.

"- Grim Reaper.".

"Ah, at last we meet again Korra, or as you've been nicknamed ''The bridge of the two worlds." He growled. He slowly stepped into the poor light and Korra could only catch the silver off the scythe. The hood so dark matched the night clearing behind him, only outlined by the low hanging branch the lantern hung from. His ghastly stature sent a chill through Korra but she stood strong.

"What do you mean bridge between the two worlds?" Korra asked.

"Ah the first person to leave the world, come to the spirit world and go back." He said moving closer. "The bridge." The end of the scythe dragging on the ground with every move. Which was peculiar to Korra, as it seemed he was gliding across the grass floor.

"But what do you want?" Korra asked, following him with her eyes.

A sick laugh crept from the hood, "You," he started gruffly. "You are the only one who has doubled me. I intend to fix that number. But…" he trailed off, circling the clearing, "You seem to be in favor of the Spirits. I cannot yet claim your life again. But it will be mine...Asami will not have you forever, the clock is ticking, Bridge." He trailed off into the shadows disappearing into the dark. Korra stood there a moment after his departure. "The Bridge?" She questioned aloud. The clearing started to quake again as the time before and changed into her and Asami's bedroom. She felt like she slept a sleepless sleep, only dreaming. She moved her arms and legs to make sure she was back to reality and looked over at Asami who had just begun to stir. Her emerald eyes fluttered open as she smiled as Korra. Korra's soul melted as she forgot about the conversation with Grim. She smiled back at her lover. "Good morning my love." She said as she kissed her forehead.

"Good morning." Asami said as she sat up in the bed, she felt better than the day before as she had time to process and sleep on the fact that her dead girlfriend was actually back. But one question plagued her mind. How does she go on with daily life or what do they do. She got red in the face a bit thinking about it. Was she nervous? It's like her lover had been gone for a time and to Asami it was supposed to be forever. She was preparing for life after Korra not life after Korra then life with Korra. Do they do the normal couple things or what? Korra sat up next to Asami peeking over at her. She could see the conversation in Asami's mind play out over her face. "Something bothering you, Asami?" Korra asked.

"I-I I'm not sure how to explain it." Asami said still trying to figure out what was going to happen.

"Well say the first thing you can think of maybe?" Korra suggested.

"Well Korra...I prepared for life without you and now that you're back I'm not sure what I am suppose to do or how do we go on." Asami said, biting her lip.

"Wel I-," Korra started, not really sure what they should do or how long she'd even be here. "Maybe we just take it one day at a time. We both don't know how or why this happened." Korra said keeping the truth from Asami. "I just know I'm back and I'm with you, that's all that matters right now." Korra said, pulling Asami closer to her. Asami nuzzled into Korra a bit still not really satisfied with the current events. What kind of game were the Spirits playing? They take Korra then bring her back but then will eventually take her again. Asami's heart didn't know if it could take losing Korra again. Some of her wanted to distance herself from Korra but the other wanted to stay like this forever. She'd let it go for now but something deep down in her knew something was coming.

It'd been a few days since Korra's dramatic return and to say the least Asami didn't realize how good sex with a ghost could be. It seemed like every night for the last week her and Korra had been at it like jackrabbits. No matter how much Asami tried to fight her urge she couldn't keep her hands off Korra and vice versa.

Korra and Asami woke after their tiredless night of passion. And in their usual manner they would cuddle and sit in each other's comfort for a little while before they got up. Once up, at first Asami would cook for the both of them forgetting Korra didn't really need to eat anymore. Then it turned to Korra just cooking for Asami but, Korra sure did miss the smell of breakfast. After they, well Asami ate, they'd have a little game of chasing each other, Korra would always win of course due to her otherworldly powers to jump places. She still hadn't gotten it down quite yet as she would sometimes jump in between walls and get stuck. She'd finally caught Asami and pulled her around the corner, cheesing in her face while Asami pouted.

"Gotcha."

"No fair, you jumped again"

"I guess it's a Spirit given talent." Korra said, smirking. Asami rolled her eyes and pushed Korra slightly, and slipped away running towards the living room. Korra smiled fully and took on the challenge again. She jumped to the living room entrance and grabbed Asami.

"Ugh," Asami groaned playful. Korra laughed and leave in for a k-

Ding… Dong. They both froze as if they had some romantic escapade in a random house and the owners just came back from vacation.

Asami frantically pushed Korra off her and told her to hide.

"Hide im dead for spirits sake!" Korra whisper screamed getting up.

"That's the point!" Asami said as she rushed to the door.

Asami flung the door open, "Shit." She thought. She lost track of her days and didn't realize this was the weekly meet up Opal, Mako and Bolin were doing.

"Hey sweetie," Opal said, hugging her and walking in with what smelling like peach cobbler. Asami's favorite, but besides the point. Bolin and Mako both gave her a hug and walked into the kitchen, leaving her still stunned at the doorway. She quickly closed the door and met them in the kitchen, looking around for Korra. "If I can see her will they be able to too?" She thought.

"Asami?" Opal called looking at her. Adam I froze and straightened up.

"Everything okay?" Opal worried, which brought the boys around the corner.

"Yes, every-everything's fine." Asami said forcing a smile. Opal wanted to say something but let it go, still thinking her friend was grieving over her loved one.

Asami followed Opal into the kitchen head still on a swivel. "Where could Korra have gone?" She thought.

"So how was your week?" The question broke Asami's thoughts and she was met with Opal's green unanswered eyes.

"U-Um it's been a week you know." Asami struggled to get out. She was suppose to be "grieving" not shamelessly fucking her dead girlfriend and have the week of her life. She tried to hide the smile that seeped across her face from the flashbacks of the week.

Opal's eyes softened and she went to hug Assmi. Asami was a bit thrown by this sudden hug still having to remember she had to act sad. Then she spotted Korra at the dining table, fake 'awing' at the hug. Asami smiled and resisted the urge to flick her off. Bolin smiled thinking her girlfriend's hug was a breath of fresh air to Asami. He ran up and gave her a hug knocking the wind out of both of them. Mako just rolled his eyes and laughed as he unpacked the food for tonight.

"Glad to see you smile." Bolin whispered to Asami as he pulled away. This made Korra's eyes water knowing that Asami was taken care of now that she was gone, filling a hole that was in her. She knew that their little moment wasn't going to last forever so she was happy that her friends were strong and brave enough to hold their own grief and hers…
