No Way Out.

Light..

...

Disgraced.

Animal.

Bad soldier.

Terrorist.

Killing machine.

Monster.

Revenger.

Thirst of blood.

"I'm not a monster! I'm not a monster! I'm not a monster!" It was Vincent Keller's yelling voice. And heard to be heard through the darkness here. In front of the people whom believed him to be a monster and a terrorist. One of them used Catherine's name as an esay. A play to get his emotions out and play along, which had almost enraged him to lose. But didn't.

No, Vincent wouldn't let her to be a bait to it. No. He'd rather die than bringing her inside of this hell hole here. Never. Not in here in this hell of a mess place.

Demolished him through his ripped off clothes as they dragged him down and closed the door, after this last torture session. Over again. And the pain and bruises that marked through his body and skin.

Had exhausted him as he brought his bruised and cold body close to lean over the bench as the wall above had carried the names of his enemies. And somehow wished he wrote down the names of the people whom tortured him now onto the wall here. All of them. He released out a painfull sob as he closed up his eyes with pain and shivered with the unwanted and burning tears behind his eyes, like a kid.

He kinda wished his mother had been here with him to soothe him the pain away for a second. How he had and still missed her, today. As he was alone in this prison and away from Catherine's warm embrace and love. He needed her right now, so much it made him sound so crazy.

His light.

They wanted him to be a monster, to act like one. Make him lose and tempt any bad move so they could kill him. Torture him more as it had been from the first time here when they first brought him through here. Three damn, days. They had tortured him, drag him like an unremorseful demon through cold showers and injections that they've kept doing all over aghain, and again.

Vincent, had been yelling and screaming that he had no damn clue of whatever they made him want to tell them. Made him want to release the beast when they got him handcuffed and drugged his blood to the worst. Worst to tdo the unthinkable. But he just couldn't do it. Maybe, because he was tired to beast out and for the wrong reasons. Making him want to feel the bad feelings of the beast and bring him out. In order to make him confess about the people whom believed had he killed. Which it was not true. He hadn't the slinghtest clue, at all. They've pushed him to the edge, again and again making through the pain and torture.

And when, they didn't get him to tell the truth for something he didn't or mostly could've had done, they dropped him back into his cage. Like he was nothing. For three days straight. Making him believe he was a monster. This man made him think he was a monster as a terrorist and demanding who was the next target to come and make him beast out through the injections. But he didn't had the strength, anymore.

Why? Maybe because, Catherine had been his light and the very one to keep him for who he is today.

Light.

Keep it as a prison gift.

And hold it up close, to the light.

Hold me without any other hesitation and with no question.

Close to my own warmt and close to my bed.

No matter how long it would take, though.

Despite the pain being an ever ending wish.

Vincent just couldn't have the streght to let himself go to the rage. It would've had been too easy. Much too simple. But it might not useful when people kept telling him that he was an soldier but more an killing machine that had been ordered to kill in order to ease up the rage inside of him. They made him want to believe he was an monster and nothing else here. From the time he entlisted because of his brothers's death through the twin towers until the army and from the way, J.T had tried to protect him by putting his name onto the list. Murfield's list and to which it had been irreversible to go back or to turn around.

Vincent still remembered from the night and after Tori's death, that same night where sarcastic but playfull J.T. had shown up to his late place, the houseboat with a bottle of scotch and had spilled out the beans. The truth that he had been the one whom had put him into this mess from the entire start. With an heavy heart as he had regretted his actions, long after when the ex-soldier had told him that he needed a place to couch but to hide from his makers whom had thought he had died along with the others up there at the field.

But it wasn't J.T's fault. But the orginazation that made the people believe that the antidotes were safe and that it would protected them from getting themselves killed through battle. And like he had said before, he should've had asked questions, but he didn't. Cause he did trustted them.

Vincent had been angry about that thought and to which he wanted to find them , so that they would killed under his hands. His own claws, thirsting out for their blood. Blood that had been slayed over for nothing. Men and women whom had volunteered had their blood soake up by the people whom made them. To be . Beasts. Killing machines. Blinding rage when he came into the beast mode. Slaughtering them all over until their blood would be all left out. Snatching and devouring theirs organs out, with pleasure. The thirst to kill. To hear them scream. Feel their fear. Just like he had done with Curt Windsor's heart. There was the sensation of pleasure that he hadn't felt for many years until he had been brainwashed by Reynolds.

Until, he had been caught up by Catherine's shockening features and Tori's streaming tears that fell onto her cheeks as she kneeled down onto her father's lifeless and dead body. But it was Catherine's expression that made him uneasy and from the way she had looked up at him, like a monster when he didn't realized it from himself. All because of Tori's influence on me, it made me go blind. Over everything.

Until he managed to broke free.

Because of Catherine, who was his own light. His way of living a normal life and to which he didn't had to choose which side was better. Beast or human, she loved him for whom he is. The man itself.

It brought tears to his eyes. Unwantening tears when it came to her. His heart wanted to explode as his human part took over the beast's own cold heart. Vengeance was an too easy subject. If he kill them, the people whom had caught and brought him here, he'll become an real fugitive and the very one who would make his wife suffer first.

"You're not a monster. I know. A lot of guys are up there, but you've saved me. Twice.." Catherine's voice went right back to him, breathtaken away as she looked so beautiful in her strapleless purple dress and the way she had curled up long brown hair in order to go over her adoptive father's engagement party. She risked up a few steps to come up and see him. After she had seen him for who he really was. as a beast. But mostly, for the savior whom had rescued her almost nine years ago before until her case had brought him to her way. To which she fell for him, a monster.

But despite the way he had pushed her away, she kept coming back to him. Even when they were apart because of their differences, she kept coming back to him. Friends or foe, it didn't mattered.

Because she loved him.

"You're not a monster." Catherine's whispering words through his mind made him want to fall over as a shaken sob went out from his throat. As he let his head drop through his knees and as he brought his handcuffed hands over them. How much, he would've had wanted to go back fourth worth and prevent these killings he had been forced to make and be a normal man. A normal beast who had done nothing but the right thing to protect people, just like he had protected and saved Catherine many years ago.

But he had failed. He only had brought her pain. I don't deserve her. I don't deserve her, I don't deserve anything..

I love you in every verse and every sound of mine

I ask you in every wave every step,

Where I live,

Imprison it and keep the light,

Hug me without reason or how.

"Vincent.."

But not as much when Vincent felt a voice waking him up his thoughts or mostly his delirious mind. His eyes fluttered up open as he rose his head up from his knees and tried to seek up for the voice that had asked him.

Which had caught his breath away, his eyes couldn't believe from the pale aurora vision he was seeing through here. Catherine.

When he had first seen Catherine, full concerned of his well being when she kneeled down onto his height, much to his fascination. Beautiful as the first day she had meet him. He was definally losing his own freaking mind, here alone in this submarine jail prison. Of all the darkness here, she was the one who brough the light here.

"Catherine.." He whispered all alone through the darkness when she just shook her head here, completely disbelief here. But beautiful here in her leathered red coat and straight up short brown hair.

"You can't give up. Not now. Not after everything we've gone through.."

"I'm losing my damn mind.." Wasn't he? After with what the Homeland Security agents had made him go through for three days straight, he wasn't sure of anything at all. Hallucinations or not, he was sure his wife had been more beautiful than ever. Dreams or not. The light was there under her reflection. And through his hazy sight, here.

"I know, you're not..You know that I'm always here with you. You know that?" The dream Catherine had told him that. Much to be true here, despite if he wanted to believe in or not. But Vincent just couldn't when his heart was onto many bewildered places all at once, here.

"I can't..I can't do it.." He felt so hopeless here. Out of strength here. Weakier as he seemed to believe with nothing to hold on. But onto the light here and to which Catherine held up for him. Enough to breathe and to survive the next day. No matter how hard it would be.

"You've sacrificed so much..We've had sacrificed so much.." She whimpered back sounding hopefull than her eyes looked like. She needed his help here."We can't end it this way, don't let it."

"T-They think I'm some kind of a monster.." He sounded so much helpless here. Damn, even that InuYasha character through that anime show he used to watch as a kid had looked ten times stronger than he ever was through these transforming from half demon to full demon, but anime was anime. Not reality, despite the few similarities they've shared with the beads the character had carried on and with him through the green gem to control his power like any other beast, but still. And after the damage he had done, the half demon character had vowed to himself to never let himself fall back to his demons, as long he had his friends, and his girlfriend whom had the strength to bring him back from hell. Just like Catherine had believed him to be a better person than his own beast side. As long he could still control it.

Because of her love. Made him brave to face anything here.

But Catherine didn't gave up, as she always had been before. Cause, she had known better though him.

"You know better than that.." Didn't he? He wasn't. But to Catherine's eyes, he was. Just to push him to see a bit better than the darkness that kept him into an ever ending prison. Like when he had first agreed to become a killing machine iin order to protect the world, his country until he was found to be a big problem to eliminate though because of his existence as a beast. Not all this mattered until he meet her and saved her. This beautiful anfd brave woman whom was willing to give up her life. Her career and everything here in order to be with him, forever while a part of him kept telling him he should let her go and leave.

Telling him he was a monster to make her suffer and pay the conscequences of his actions. A beast that should've had been dead for many years, becaiuse of a mistake here. He was the mistake and needed to be brought down here from the start. No man like deserved a woman's love. No matter how hard she made his heart beating up hard. How much he loved her. His Catherine. His light.

"Hey, Vincent!" She called him back with her voice a bit loud than it used to be when she appeared up here. "I need you to stay with me, here. You and I need to figure this out, together."

"Okay.." He breathed out as he finally decided to go along with her theory, even when it felt completely useless. "There's somedody who's definally trying to set me up here." But who? All the people whom had protected him or both of them had been dropped out dead, aren't they? Through the wall where he had scratched his claws with a chalk or more with a rock all the names he had wrote down onto it. Braxton,Graydal, Eckland, Garrus, Hill, Grace and Russo and up down where, Zhao, Murfield, Reynolds, Gabe and Vanessa from the first start as Catherine's parents had been the first lead of his problems and the reason when he chose to hide out.

All of them had ended up dead, a few of his own kind and others from the people he had hurted the most.

Curt, Sebastian, Zach, Carlos and Tori. Well, not much Tori, but Carlos, Curt, Sebastian and Gabe were the bad ones. Zach and Liam had been the unfortunate ones to lose theirs lives into disappear. Gabe was the bad one whom took every opportunity to take advantage of everything, when they've first split up, he thought he would have a move with Cat. Which she was still left undecided. And when Gabe had heard they were brought together after Cat's rejection, he went beast here but totally blinding rage out of his own humanity would have given him to be. Becoming the worst part of himself. Until death had taken him away from Vincent's and Catherine's united hands and love bond.

Tori, the most vunerable one one, whom didn't asked to be born as a beast despite the way she had been with his relationship with Catherine. When he held her hand as she whispered these last words as she laid there in this cage of an beast's dugeon. Alistair's, mostly.

You belong with Catherine.. She didn't deserved to die like that. She was an innocent one, despite the bad she had done between Vincent and Catherine's break-up. She didn't deserved to end up, like that even if she had saved them both and J.T.

Zach had been blinded by rage after he had killed his girlfriend when he found out she was seeing him behind his back which he had no clue and like J.T. had said; he wasn't the one who broke out the bro code. Nobody had done it. It was a simple coincidence. Liam, had been cursed to live an unremorseful hate towards Alistair and Rebecca's long lost love which made him look lost at all complete love sight. For good. A fate that had been much worse than he and Gabe would have had from the start. Liam Cullen had been cursed from his jealous actions forever. And to which made him live an life unberarable for a nearly decade. Too long, though.

Vincent had killed them in cold blood. Both Zach and Liam. Curt and Sebastian along with Carlos as he had been ordered to do it. By Reynolds. Catherine's dead biologichical father whom had brainwashed him. Killed by Liam's hand, just before he and Cat had comeback around.

Vanessa Chandler had been killed by the Murfield agents that had been sent to stop and kill her along with her daughter, which he had slaughtered them off without hesitation. But under Catherine's terrified eyes.

Deputy Hill, the man whom had taken Agent Russo's position right after their honeymoon, when the man had been found dead in his office by J.T and Heather. And despite having giving Catherine a new job up onto her career position and when the two of them had saved his life and family from Brxton's kind, the man had tried to kill him and to which it did ended with bad results and to which ended up all possibility of all exonoration of him to become a free man. When his departement wanted nothing but to see him in jail or dead for good. They wanted revenge for their colleague's death. They wanted to end him for forever. Which made he and Cat leave the country with no other choice. It broke his heart to see her so devastated to leave all behind in order to be with him. A monster. A man whom had ben killed of his own hand because of his own.

An haunted man. A beast. A monster. Nothing more. To be destroyed as if he always had been.

Grace Rose, who wanted to write a good and an impossible story to share throught New York Times, just like Brett, Cat's high school friend had been ended up dead as well. Under Graydal's mankind when he and Catherine had decided to run away into the cabin where he and his ex-fiancee had their event. Not much of a good moment, but still. Until he surrounded himself to Graydall. However, Neither Grace or Brett had ended up dead by his hand despite seeing their dead bodies.

Peter Braxton had been killed by his own invisible beast like Eckland and Garrus, unless..No. Nobody had known he wasd a beast. Nobody, neither did the agents that had separated from his wife to be brought down here. And to make it even worse, he never did transform in order to give them something here. All that because of Catherine. And of her strength and love she gave him to not fall apart.

Like J.T. had once said before; despite not being here with him, he could always feel Cat's love around him. He just needed to believe it. She was his light here through the darkness he lived as a caged animal. The very same thing here. Her light and presence made him think, clearly.

Giving him the answers, he was trying to figure out as he looked back up to the wall and from where Braxton's name had stood above of everyone else here. No. He didn't kill the guy. He didn't. Unless, he had backed off and away from everyone and throughtout the way and reason of Eckland's Garrus's deaths.

Yes. It did made sense, here.

No. He didn't killed them.

Nope.

The heck?

Braxton wanted him to pay the mess? To make take the blame? Not only Hill's death, but for the killings that DHS believed he had made? Impossible for him to come out as a free man?

"Yes, Vincent..You've figured out.." Catherine's hopeful voice had sounded like the very beating heart of his that was giving him the reason to fight here and keep onto living for the next day. He exchanged another look towards her and to which she nodded back with understatement. Realizing he had made the right connection through all this mess. Thanks to Catherine. Whose love and bravery presence had saved him when he had thought that everything had been lost.

Sleeping on your breasts is a sweet habit

every darkness fades from your caress

fire in sight pulse in my blood

the shooting star in my summer.

Catherine. He wished he could breathe her name out and kiss her to be here with him. She was his light.

After all, she was his own lightening and reason to breathe. And keep onto going on. He certainly go back to her as he slowly rose uup and let the rage come up to him with such a goddamn reason, this time.

Much as inner beast seemed to be evil when it came onto uncontrolling rage, Vincent was having such a blast when he managed to destroy the submarine boat. All that, thanks to his wife's support.

He figured out who was the bad guy here.

...

I love you in every verse and every sound of mine,

I ask you in every wave every step,

where I live,

hold it up it and keep up to the light,

hug me without reason or how.

"Catherine.." He'd seen her reflection walking into the bathroom from the Gentleman's Guild, from where she had seen his broken orbs and bruised face from the time he had been kept away until he managed to escape after he had heard the voice of the reason that gave him the right way to see things clearly through the confusion here. How he had been manipulated by one of the man whom had known about his dark past and secret. Had been looking out for him for a long while, until today.

Murfield had been dead, but back onto track without any beast but with one of his functioners had decided to step back and make Vincent pay after he had threatened to expose him, even if it meant his own beast through the light along with the torture that Braxton had made him go through through the video tapes that DHS hadn't gotten the time to observe since they had been too busy to do something else.

Tracking Vincent, when they should've had been tracking Peter Braxton instead. An very much alive Peter Braxton whom made Vincent take all blame for the killings, lately.

"Don't move.." She whispered back when he felt his grey and used shirt being lift off from his back up to his neck. Her fingers managed to push over the shirt away, leaving him and his torso exposed when he heard her release a shivering gasping sound here right after the t-shirt had been dropped down onto the floor.

"Oh God.." Her voice sounded so remorsefull and full of horror. He couldn't possible ignore it. While he stood up with his head hanging over the sink as he felt the gentle pressure onto his back. Covered with bruises here. He'd sure could've visioned through her eyes.

"What have they've done to you? Back there? How could they've-"

"Going through the book. That's what they've been doing.."

"They've tortured you, Vincent..I can't believe it.." She almost broke down into sobs here when she held her fingers onto his back as he shook his head, close to losing it. Snickering, sarcastically.

"I've had worse, before. With the brainwashing and all that. Your dad had nearly killed me, but I've made through. Not twice but thrice.." He follwed back whewn he sensed her gasping sound with horror.

"Oh God. Vincent." He snorted back with a fake chuckle, even when he really felt like laughing here. Or maybe, he had already lost his own maybe not. Naah..Like that InuYasha guy had often dragged out. Snickering, Vincent really needed to watch that anime show once again. It probably bring up a happy smile to his face again. That half demon and I, do have a lot in common together, for sure.

"Hey, don't cry. Like I've told you, I'm okay.." He assured back when she really wasn't. When he had been the one whom needed to taken cared off of his own burned and mental injuries through the torture sessions that these agents made him go through, unfairly.

"No, you're not okay.." Catherine looked like she was about to lose it. When he defied her, stuborn.

"I am!"

"If I had been a lawyer and not a cop, I've would've had-" She would've had what stopped them all, at once? Even if she could, she wouldn't had the strength to do that. Or else, her lawyer career would've had been lont dead from the start she had meet him. No. He wouldn't have wanted her to risk that.

No. Not on his dead body. He wouldn't have let her do that.

"Stopped them? No. Nobody would've had..Neither you would have.." He whirled around to face her with an rassuring smile even when he found out that she wasn't smilling but had been concerned of his well being here."I would've had forbidden you onto doing that.." Giving up all for him. When life it hadn't been fair for him. For the two of them had nearly destroyed him of making become a monster. But not this way. He may had been tortured in through these never ending three days through the place where DHS had brought him as a man into cage and to which it made his wife feel completely helpless and cry over him, the fear of ever losing him again and again had been unbearable to live through. Catherine looked weary and tired, through her round and square eyes with her straight brown hair and green shirt. Looked like she had spend nights all wide awake as she had looked for him and answers that remained unanswered up here. Thanks to dad Reynolds and mommy Vanessa, who were dead to answer them now.

Leaving them all the bullshit that they've didn't deserved, but all that anger feeling was no longer to be wasted here. Cause, no matter how angered he felt over them, it wouldn't help nothing. It was now a fight that he and Cat had to figure on their own from now. Stopping Braxton before he made his next move.

But it was all through and to fight for Catherine. All for her.

"You've made me see through it, Catherine and without you I wouldn't have done it. Not without your help.." He cleared out as she blinked out by surprise here. She must have believed him to be crazy here. Or whatever he was talking about hadn't made any sense.

"Vincent.."

"You've helped me to see through and all that. Yo've helped to see that it was Braxton's doing from all along. You've saved me.."

"I've saved you? But I was here all along-" She almost broke it off, feeling almost hopeless here when he cut her off, with his eyes that couldn't hold themselves from beaming with admiration. He loved her. He sure was. Let her know that she needs to know it as well. We're better together than apart, I've told her that before. I'm sure of it.

"Call me crazy, or whatever you want, but I'm sure of something here.." Vincent had put his hands over her waist and hard enough to not let her go when she, confused, looked up at his eyes. Admirable but loving ones despite the fact they've had endured such a long and unstoppable suffering these past three days, though.

"Your love had saved me from losing my freaking mind, delirious or not, you've helped to find reason here. A reason to live, Catherine.." He smiled back at her here. A real smile for such a long time, when he had been held captive from DHS Agents.

"We keep saving each other Vincent, that's what we do here.." He walked up to her height and held up both of her cheeks as his forehead touched hers. Leaned over to her close, letting his love drawn to be united with hers, this time. After such a longtime away from her arms and embrace. He felt his heart completed for good. Over my dead body, if they ever try to tear us apart again. He vowed back throughtout his thoughts.

"And between us." Vincent had followed up feeling that his own knees were getting weak over her love. A strong woman who was willing to do and go anywhere with him, despite even leave everything here. "A bond that deserves to never be broken, from the day you've found me and saved me. Hold on onto that thought. Cause, I ain't gonna give up onto that, here."

"That's a promise I'm willing to fufill here and forever to come." Cat had added up when she cried up and dropped down the rag she had been holding up to clean off the blood and bruises imprinted through his exposed back and strong muscular figure here and the strength he held onto her.

"I know you can and I know you will.." His lips brushed up to meet hers as he breathed out the most relief air he desparately needed and wanted here as he clutched up his eyes shut. Goddamn, he missed her love and her lips. The passion between them here. He missed that. He held her up close to him as she put her arms around him and embraced him tightly. As if she never wanted to let him go as she closed up her eyes and felt him all above her. Around her, here.

"I love you.." He heard himself saying here when she nuzzled her head over his neck and smelled him, deeply.

"I love you too..Vincent.." She whispered back to his cheek, almost out of breath when she was panted off of air here."Oh God, I thought I've lost it when I've seen them taking you away from me, for a second." She almost had restarted to cry back down to his face when he brought up his palm over her mouth as he shushed her and pushed her a bit so that theirs eyes would meet and lock upon. As they've stared to each other for a moment, here. With assurance. An strength that he had no idea but had deep down and inside of himself.

"I'm right here. Right here with you. And I wouldn't back off away, this time..Over my dead body."

"Vincent.." Oh God. Her touch felt so amazing onto him. When she held his face with her delicate fingers through his hair as she pulled him over her. Making want him to kiss her or make her desparate for him to kiss her, again. Which he was gladly ready to do again.

"Just stay with me, Catherine. Stick with me till the end of time.." He demanded her back as he re-started to lean over to her face again and brushed her lips into an passionate kiss once again and hugged her tight onto his arms as she returned his embrace and let her fall over the crook of his neck. As he scented the parfume of her love close to him. She was his light. My light.

I love you in every verse and every sound of mine,

I ask you in every wave every step,

where I live,

Lost as you will leave, don't forget, little one,

The one who remains behind had loved you so much...

Only this time, Vincent wasn't willing back off from Catherine, cause as long they were together in this fight, they would be invincible to anything. He had letting her go once or many times, but this he wouldn't. And neither wouldn't she, though. Together.

Cause, she was his light and to which he was willing to keep for the rest of his life.

...

Crap. I've gone back to watch InuYasha over again. I think it has a few similarities from the two series. Between InuYasha and Beauty and the Beast. Well, Catherine doesn't need to use the green gem to Vincent in order to make him sit down over and each bad behavior like in the anime and manga. Nope, but it would had been funny to see it through. Like Kagome often does it to InuYasha..Haha. If you guys don't know what I'm taking here, than I suggest you go and watch the anime, here. It's pretty good as I've done it as a kid.

Anyways. Back, to Beauty and the Beast, here.

An idea came through my mind after I've watched 'No Way Out' From the fourth season, from the time when Vincent had been brought up down onto prison and had let his thoughts taking the worst of him, until Catherine had come through to save him and make him see, clearly.

Damn you, Σασμός for making me cry and made remind of VinCat's worst fate if Vincent had gone for the kill and killed Reynolds, if Catherine hadn't shot him. That greek show made me cry and made me remind of VinCat if things had gone wrongly for them after Man or Beast from the second season. Φως, Light, made me write about it, if Vincent spend his days alone in jail and with wanting to see Catherine for the time being. Through of all the bad things he had done as a beast and made Cat suffer, in a way she wouldn't to admit or to say.

Even if she still loved him for the way he was, beast or not. Or willing to go anywhere with him. Bad or not. Fugitive or not. The fourth season is still hard for me to see it, after almost six years and knowing that VinCat had faked theirs deaths to go away at the end of it and to have their happily ending after, elsewhere than their own hometown. They'll still gonna be hunted by someone, unless Murfield is gone for good. But who knows?

Thanks again, beasties! I love your support, especially you Adriana! Hopefully to see more reviews here, but whatever!

Your support and love is appreciated, always!
