Chapter 4 Crafty Chris and Sisters.
They had hoped returning the magical weapons and artefacts would grant them a bit of slack. But they were wrong. Returning what they borrowed correction stole did nothing. They were standing trapped in a circle made from various members of staff.
"We're not here for a fight, we're here to make a deal," Chris said.
"You stole property off the school and attacked a member of staff," A teacher responds making the boys scoff.
"Oh, please I just froze some hag for a couple of minutes, that wasn't attack," George scoffed.
"Under normal circumstances, we would never steal Magic School property," Chris says.
"It's never normal circumstances with your family Christopher," A teacher replies.
"Then call us just unlucky, we vanquished the demonic order that was after George and we needed all that stuff to help us," Wyatt says.
"What do you expect us to say Christopher, Wyatt? Thank you for returning what you stole? We forgive you for bringing a mortal here which resulted in a powerful force breaking all of our protection spells allowing students and staff to die here! In the matter of a few weeks your family have caused a vast amount of problems," Miss Bone replies coldly.
"I guess George's application for Magic School will have a big rejection stamp on it," Chris sighed.
"Applica..." George started.
"Yeah, pity the last Zbornak witch denied his right to be taught at Magic School a place founded with the sole mission to protect and nurture young individuals. So they won't abuse their gifts and potentially expose magic," Wyatt says.
"You can't be serious no one sane no one who knows our rules would even contemplate threatening to expose our community," Miss Bone replies.
"Under normal circumstances, he would be sane, but right now," Chris said.
"Newly orphan found his maternal family in tatters discovers magic. I'll do anything with my newfound magic without supervision and training imagine how much trouble. I can cause for you and your bosses," George tells the staff.
"You're bluffing," Miss Bone said.
"Why would I when my power literally allows me to intervene and not be seen. I can see it now in the history books, Miss Bone worse qualified teacher to ever grace Magic School. Rejecting poor orphan witch results in magic being exposed for the third time and the permanent closure of Magic School," George responds.
"Naturally, we would want to make sure George wouldn't put us all at risk. But so much has changed now, our home is destroyed. Our family is even more screwed up. Wyatt now down on magic. I'm not sure I would be able to make sure he wouldn't do anything stupid. But if he were to be allowed to attend Magic School, he may not prove to be a threat," Chris tells the teachers.
"Blackmail Christopher," Miss Bone said through gritted teeth.
"No, just pointing out some very legitimate concerns," Wyatt said.
"You start on Monday, George," Miss Bone responds her tone displaying frustration and anger.
After their conversation with Miss Bone and the other members of staff. They left Magic School through Chris and his orbing. George still hasn't got used to orbing. As for Wyatt it felt strange to no longer have access to something as basic and passive as orbing. The foursome reappeared in a backstreet near an independent coffee shop.
"Chris! What application, I was content with going back to the school. I already attend," George snapped.
"Being practical and you caught on quickly," Chris responds.
"Yeah because, I wanted to do anything to annoy that hag," George said.
"Right now, we have to be practical PJ and Peyton have declared war, they put a boundary spell around the manor. To prevent us from entering. We can't all be in the same place twenty-four-seven," Chris said.
"Attending Magic School gives a layer of protection. And you can broaden your craft. The sisters are less likely to make a move there with the staff. We have to work on getting the twins and Junior on our side," Wyatt says.
"I doubt, Paige's kids are going to pick either side, they will want to stay neutral," Bianca said.
"Well, we don't always get what we want Bianca, they have to choose. Parker hasn't just turned against us. She turned against my family, our legacy. She has tainted our line and our history," Wyatt snapped.
Meanwhile over at the Halliwell manor. Upstairs in the attic, we have Parker's older sister PJ and younger sister Peyton. The younger sister is sat down at a small dark oak wooden table. On the table lies three pink crystals placed in the centre of the table in the shape of a triangle. In the centre of the triangle lies a picture Phoebe and Coop took of the girls. Outside at a local park, Patty used to take her daughters to as children. In the photo, the three girls are standing in front of a large brown oak tree. While PJ is searching through the Book of Shadows on a solution over freeing Parker. The oldest sister constantly asking her younger sister the same question over and over.
"Anything?" PJ asked her younger sister looking up from the book.
"No, things will go a lot easier, if you would stop asking me every five minutes," Peyton snapped frustrated.
"Alright, but I'm telling you now, it's not going to work," PJ responds before returning her focus to the book. Peyton takes a deep breath and closes her eyes as she holds onto the picture but is careful not to move the picture outside the triangle. The three pink crystals glow and Peyton starts to recite Parker's name over and over.
"Parker,"
"Parker,"
"Parker,"
"Parker,"
"Parker,"
"Parker,"
"Parker,"
"Damn it!" Peyton shouted as she dropped the picture and threw one of the now non-glowing crystals against a wall. And got up from her seat.
"Told you, sis your telepathy isn't strong enough, to crossover to wherever they sent her," PJ says.
"Well, I don't see you doing anything productive," Peyton said, "We always determined the book has nothing that will help us,"
"I edited the Power of Three spell mom, Auntie Prue and Auntie Piper used to protect themselves from the shape-shifting warlocks. To shield the manor from the boys using blood magic," PJ replied.
"I mean what are you doing to get Parker back PJ," Peyton says.
"Everything, I want our sister back just as much as you do. I'm just being practical if we're going to get her back we have to be at our a-game. Shielding the manor from the boys gives us security and refuge here. If things go south, they can't reach us here and we have access to the Book of Shadows," PJ responds, she understood her sister's frustration with their situation.
"The crystals were supposed to enhance my telepathy, but I don't think there any crystal strong enough to augment my powers," Peyton sighed, they needed their sister back and they needed to defeat the boys once and for all.
"We need to build on our power, we can't lose and we need to get the twins and Junior on our side," PJ said.
End of chapter.
