Chapter 10 Brotherly Worries and Cousins Scheming.
Wyatt was certain that he would bleed to death alone out there in the cold. That this was his time. How it sucked to die young than again dying young is one of the few things the Halliwell family is good at. Look at Melinda Warren, Patty Halliwell and Prue Halliwell. Chris was worried since Wyatt left the Gilbert-Halliwell house. It wasn't that he felt since the loss of Wyatt's Twice-Blessed powers. That his big brother was useless. Well in truth it was but just in cases that may involve being hands-on in situations that require magic.
Wyatt was his last tie to their parents; they shared Piper and Leo's blood. The pair was the product of their parents' union. Something that now couldn't be reproduced. Yes, Wyatt could be a pain in Chris' backside and there have been times where Chris had to fight the urge not to punch Wyatt. However, he honestly couldn't imagine a life without Wyatt. And wasn't looking forward to a time where he might have to live in a world without him.
"How long has Wyatt been gone now?" George asked his older brother. Chris then took his phone out of his jean pocket and checked his phone for the time.
"A couple of hours it's not good." Chris sighed. He then put his phone back in his pocket.
"Can't you sense him?"
"No, he's not magical anymore," Chris explained.
"We can try his phone." George suggested.
"I have a better idea. I'm going to scry for him."
"Wait. I thought you said, we could only scry for other magical beings." George said with a frown. His brother just ignored him. Chris walked over to the small table where a map of the city lies, he orbed a crystal attached to a string to his right hand and started to hold it and spin it over the map.
"Scrying secrets come to me, drop now reveal my brother to thee." Chris chanted. The crystal landed on a specific spot. The two witches look down. Before George could say anything. Christopher had grabbed one of George's arms and orbed the two over to Wyatt's location.
The Mitchell siblings were sat at their dining table. Each had a mug of coffee for themselves. Their father was busy at work dealing with his parolees. The three were grateful for that because, while their father had no problem with magic. They knew it couldn't be easy to know your children had to fight demons every day.
"So are we all in agreement?" Henry Junior asked before he took a sip of his coffee.
"I am." Kat said.
"Me too." Tamora added.
"We just need the right guy to help us."
"Telepaths aren't exactly hard to find." Henry Junior replied.
"But one powerful enough to suppress Peyton's telepathic abilities. Is going to be hard to find." Tamora pointed out.
"Well, we just have to be quick to find one." Henry Junior said.
"I can check the Magic School records for powerful Telepaths." Kat suggested.
"Fine just try and not get caught," Tamora told her sister. Kat nodded before she orbed away.
Peyton and PJ are sat down in the Halliwell living room. There was fire lit for warmth in the fireplace. The two were well aware that the power imbalance between themselves and the boys was different. While it was true that without Wyatt's Twice-Blessed Powers the power imbalance was basically non-existent. Still, the sisters didn't find that comforting in the slightest.
"We need more power," PJ said.
"But where do we find it?" Peyton asked.
"Wherever we can. We could collect powers from demons."
"Demons!" Peyton frowned. "Wouldn't that be risky?"
"To get our sister back nothing is too risky," PJ told her little sister.
"Still it's best if we're smart with how we collect powers from demons. We should be subtle." Peyton responded.
"So, we don't draw any attention to ourselves."
"Exactly, we need to create an imbalance between the four of us…"
"Don't you mean five? There's three of them and two of us." Peyton said.
"Wyatt doesn't count anymore he's mortal now."
"How much power do you think we need?" Peyton asked.
"More than enough to shift the balance of power. If we remain at an equal level of power with the boys. Then there a chance we lose." PJ answered.
