Chapter 22 Hit Us with Your Best Shot
"Somebody crack open a window it stinks," Wyatt shouted from the living room where he and Bianca are sorting through some weapons. The former assassin witch has collected over many, many years. Bianca seemed unfazed by the smell Christopher's potions were giving off.
"Why are you frowning?" Bianca asked Wyatt. The eldest Halliwell brother rarely ever frowned.
"I just thought you would have more weapons." Wyatt shrugged.
"I do there just in storage," Bianca replied. "Baby and weapons aren't the best fit."
"Damn and here I thought your kind popped out of the womb holding crossbows."
"Wyatt, it would be best if you hold your tongue until after, we've taken down the girls." Bianca said.
"Do these all have runes?" Wyatt questioned. Bianca picked up a blade and passed it over to Wyatt.
"You're going to need this one any wound inflicted using this will act as a beacon," Bianca explained.
"Beacon, we don't need a beacon the boys can scry," Wyatt replied.
"There are ways to counter-scrying Wyatt now counteracting the magic from this blade is another thing. If the girls getaway and one of them is cut with this they won't be able to hide anywhere on earth from us." Bianca further explained.
"Chris' potions how certain are you that will be enough?" Wyatt asked.
"I'm not sure it will be enough on its own. Warren witches tend to have an annoying high tolerance to magical attacks." Bianca answered. "But it should hurt them long enough for you guys to finish the job."
"And if the potions hurt them and they get away, I doubt they have any Whitelighter, they can go to for healing."
"Pretty much and when most people are injured they don't think they just act." Bianca said.
"Bianca," Wyatt muttered.
"Yes,"
"Thank you, for your help," Wyatt didn't face Bianca as he said this.
"No, need to thank me," Bianca replied gently.
"Never speak of this to anyone,"
"Of, course; it will be our little secret." Bianca smiled.
In the kitchen, we have Chris and George who have finished brewing potions. George had a dozen potion bottles in his hands. Both boys were wearing enchanted gloves. Chris was doing his best to be gentle and precise in emptying the potion from the pan to the bottles.
"Why do we have to wear enchanted gloves and have enchanted potion bottles?" George asked.
"Put it this way a single drop of this potion is rumoured to be capable of melting a block of iron," Chris answered.
"Holy sh…"
"George, trust me, I know this is one tough potion." Chris cut in.
"One drop can melt iron! What can a full bottle do?"
"We'll find out soon," Chris said.
"I'm sorry, Christopher." George apologised.
"For what?" Chris questioned.
"Everything, if I had didn't let my emotions get the better of me the night, my dad was at the hospital, my powers wouldn't have manifested. And you and your cousins would be on good terms and Wyatt would still be twice blessed."
"Parker lost her way long before the day at the hospital. Whether or not you came into mine and Wyatt's lives a rift between Phoebe's girls and us would have happened." Chris replied.
"But…"
"No, buts!" Chris cut in again. "The only actions we're responsible for are our own."
Hours passed from day to night and the foursome we're still looking for any sign of Phoebe's girls being outside the manor. Bianca was scrying she had dipped the crystal into a few drops of Wyatt's blood that he offered in a small dish.
"Guys," Bianca called out from the kitchen. She was sitting at the table. The three boys entered the kitchen.
"What?"
"PJ and Peyton, they're not at the manor anymore."
"Where are they?" Wyatt asked.
"Some street nearby," Bianca answered.
"George grab the potions," Wyatt ordered.
The three brothers orbed over to that street each possessing two potion bottles hidden in their pockets. The street lamps flickered bringing an inconsistent light source to them. They started searching for the sisters once they realised they weren't present.
"They must have gone back to the manor," George sighed disappointedly.
"I don't get it," Chris said. "Unless they're just messing around." Wyatt's nose started to twitch.
"They're nearby I can smell them." Wyatt spoke-up.
"Ew," George replied.
"You're sure you gonna be able to track them?" Chris asked. "Tracking by smell is very different from scrying."
"No, but we're going to find out," Wyatt answered. The Halliwell werewolf led the trio through a dozen of back alleys stopping now and again to make sure. He hasn't lost the girls' scent. Eventually, the three arrived somewhere in the Bay Area and on the road opposite them stood a place that was just a part of their family history as the Halliwell manor.
"Why would they be at some rundown closed nightclub?" George asked.
"This isn't some rundown closed nightclub, George this is P3," Chris answered.
"Again what's so special about P3?"
"Mom, she owned P3, she and her sisters went there all the time after they vanquished the demon or warlock of the week. When mom died Phoebe and Paige struggled to keep the place afloat." Wyatt explained.
"Uh, oh," Chris said.
"Christopher, what's wrong?" George questioned.
"Bats," Chris replied as he pointed over to P3's roof.
"Lovely, they teamed up with vampires." Wyatt sighed.
"If they can team up with vampires, I say we can team up with Buffy," George replied.
"It's too late to conjure the slayer now," Wyatt said. "Vampires are immune to most Wiccan powers and we have no stakes. So, we're going to need to be creative."
"I'll draw their fire," Chris told his brothers and before either Wyatt or George could respond Chris threw a bolt of lightning at the bats. The bats evaded it with ease and again with the next three bolts of lightning. Wyatt and George ran across the road to reach P3. Chris followed after them with the use of orbing.
George unsuccessfully attempted to freeze the vampires. But he was unable to do so. A dozen shifted into a human-like form and one with a simple backhand threw him at a wall. George fell to the ground. Seeing three vampires approaching him wanting to finish him off, he threw one of his two potions at them. One of the three vampires was quick to catch it and threw it at a nearby car. The said car exploded leaving nothing of it behind.
"Would you like another go?" One of the three vampires teased.
"I would love another go," Wyatt said from behind the three. The werewolf was quick to rip two of the three vampires' hearts out followed by the third vanquishing all three.
"You're a lifesaver," George chuckled as Wyatt helped him get to his feet.
"Just doing my job, now you follow Christopher to the back entrance. He's just vanquished a dozen of them." Wyatt instructed George, he then pushed George a little into the direction of the back entrance.
"But there's still a dozen left." George pointed out.
"Not for long, I have a queen to dethrone now go," Wyatt replied. George nodded and ran toward the back entrance. Wyatt saw a nearby dumpster close to one of the club's walls. With no hesitation, he ran over to the dumpster and jumped on it only to jump onto the roof to face the queen face to face.
"Wyatt Matthew Halliwell tonight has been a long time coming."
"I couldn't agree more your majesty,"
"Only one of us is getting off this roof alive." The vampire queen said.
"Enough talking," Wyatt responded and then their fight began.
Christopher and George were successful in sneaking into the club through the back. They were careful to be as quiet as possible. They doubted that PJ and Peyton didn't hear their fight with the vampires. So, they were certain the two girls were ready for a fight.
"Took you long enough," PJ said announcing her and Peyton's presence to the two boys. They walked out from behind the dusty old bar. The four-faced each other each holding a potion in one of their hands.
"You brought potions too," Chris observed.
"What can I say we were taught by the best." Peyton spoke-up.
"You can thank Parker for our potions. There kill you quickly but it will be far from painless."
"Lovely, Parker the mistake that never stops screwing with us,"
"Shut up," PJ snapped as she flung an arm out to George throwing him back onto a table.
"That's enough of you," Chris yelled as he threw lightning at PJ who simply used her telekinesis to redirect it at the bar. George got back on his feet and ran up to Chris.
"It's time to end this." The boys threw their remaining potions at the girls who retaliated by doing the same. The five potions clashed causing an explosion whose force is so strong it threw all four back. The four witches layout on the floor unconscious. Wyatt after hearing the explosion and feeling the earth underneath shake a little ran inside the club and spotted the boys.
The condition of the two boys was terrible, each had severe burns. George's arms would blister soon. Whereas Chris' legs took most of the damage. The wolf needed to get the boys out of there for treatment. He couldn't take them to the hospital because they would ask too many questions. All he could is hope that Bianca had some supplies that would help his little brothers.
"Damn it," Peyton snapped earning Wyatt's attention. The wolf turned and to both his frustration and surprise PJ and Peyton stood bruised but very much alive and in no way near as badly hurt as his brothers.
"What the hell."
"Just a protection amulet or two." PJ shrugged revealing hers which she hid under her t-shirt. Wyatt in a fit of retaliation pulled out the blade Bianca had given him earlier and threw it at PJ. The two girls beamed out but not before the blade could make a small cut on PJ's left arm and hit one of the club's damaged walls.
End of chapter.
