Chapter 23 Meet Us At the Battlefield
It was awkward for Piper's eldest boy to get his two unconscious brothers back to the Gilbert house. Now unable to orb he found himself committing a crime stealing a car. He just prayed Chris had a spell to alter the owner of the car's memories. So, he wouldn't press charges when he came round and discovered his car gone. The Halliwell werewolf pulled up at the drive and before he could utter a single word. Bianca had ran out of the house and over to the three boys.
Wyatt ignored Bianca shouting at him as he exited the car and carried the two boys back inside. Bianca followed him back into the living room. Wyatt laid the two boys out on one of the couches.
"You should have called me," Bianca said.
"And have Christopher's unborn child inhale all that smoke not a chance in hell," Wyatt replied. "Have you got anything to heal their wounds?" Bianca didn't answer she just left the room and made her way upstairs to the room, she and Christopher were sharing. The former assassin witch returns with a closed jar. She then goes to attend to the boys' wounds.
"We're lucky we had this salve on standby, it takes months to prepare."
"How long will it take for them to fully heal?" Wyatt asked.
"A couple of days," Bianca answered. "But they're come around in an hour or two," Two hours passed after Bianca was finished applying the salve to Chris and George.
"Everything aches," George complained being the first one to come around.
"Are they dead?" Chris asked now conscious.
"Afraid not," Wyatt answered with a sigh. "The sisters were carrying a few protection amulets. They're hurt but nowhere near as bad as you two."
"Whatever potion the girls used against us was similar to the ones we had." Chris said.
"Really," Bianca frowned.
"The girls can thank Parker for that." George said.
"We might as well as consider PJ and Peyton our equals now in skill and power." Chris sighed. "We're too evenly matched to take them out."
"Lovely," Wyatt replied.
"If Aunt Paige and Aunt Phoebe were here, I doubt we would be in this position in the first place." Chris said.
"Maybe if it was just Aunt Paige, but Aunt Phoebe, I can't imagine she'd be too pleased about Parker's banishment." Wyatt replied.
"I don't know about you guys, but I for one would like to get changed out of these clothes. There ruined now." George told the boys and Bianca before he got up from the couch.
He walked over to his bedroom in silence.
"Dad," George gasped he couldn't believe it his Dad was here just not in flesh and blood. He was incorporeal identical to an earthbound ghost.
"The Hallow."
"What?" George asked.
"The Hallow." Their conversation ended there and then Greg merely faded away from sight. Piper's youngest was quick to change into some new clothes and when he returned to the living room, he noticed Chris had also got changed into some fresh clothes.
Meanwhile, over at the Mitchell house, Henry and his three children were sat down in their living room. There were two power-stripping potions on the coffee table. But still, they needed something else, something that neither Phoebe's girls nor Piper's boys had.
"What now? Henry Junior asked.
"We need to be three steps ahead of the five of them," Kat answered.
"I have an idea," Tamora spoke up.
"Please share."
"I've got a spell to summon the Book of Shadows; we need to get it away from the girls before they have the chance to corrupt it," Tamora explained.
"That's a nice idea, but I'm not sure how that helps us get three steps ahead of our cousins," Kat said.
"The Book of Shadows has been around for centuries and has been involved in countless instances of magical drama. I'm sure it has to have some psychic energy enough to trigger a premonition for junior." Tamora further explained.
"Don't be mad, but I don't think getting a premonition will be all that easy," Henry Junior told his sisters and dad.
"Dare I ask why kid."
"A while ago, I was kidnapped by a clan of demons." Henry Junior said. "Don't worry they're long dead. But before I had the chance to kill them, they cursed my power of premonition. I can see premonitions just not receive them."
"WHAT!" The twins snapped. "And you're only just telling us now."
"I planned on telling you guys after I lifted the curse." Henry Junior replied.
"If you had told us, the curse might have already been lifted." Tamora snapped again.
"We can talk about this later," Kat spoke up again. "How have you been seeing premonitions if you were cursed to no longer receive them?"
"A seer was cursed like me; he could receive premonitions but not see them. So, we've been working together ever since." Henry Junior explained.
"Summon him," Henry said. Henry Junior sighed before then with a simple hand gesture the said seer appeared before them emerging from orbs of white and blue light.
"Why bring me here?" Enzo questioned.
"We need your help," Henry Junior answered.
"Remember our deal, Henry, I have immunity from you and your sisters." Tamora then decided it was time to summon the legendary Book of Shadows, she just hoped that PJ and Peyton hadn't broken the Mitchell siblings' connection to the book after the stunt they pulled.
'I call upon the Ancient Power, to help us in this darkest hour.'
'Let the Book come to this place, claim refuge from two witches, who have lost their way.' Within seconds a portal opened just above Tamora's lap and the Halliwell Book of Shadows fell onto her lap and the portal closed.
Henry Junior took the Book of Shadows from Tamora's lap before Enzo put both of his hands on one side of Henry Junior's head. Henry Junior is instantly pulled into a premonition.
Premonition:
Chris and Bianca were alone in their new bedroom, Chris decided he needed to talk to Bianca privately because he was well aware that she wouldn't take his news kindly.
"We have a plan," Chris told Bianca.
"Why do I have a feeling your plan is a bad idea." Bianca said.
"Phoebe's girls, they're too strong for us now, the only way to defeat them is if my brothers and I take in the Hallow."
"No, Chris! That is a risk nobody can take the Hallow was banished for a reason." Bianca replied.
"I know B. But desperate times call for desperate matters." Chris said.
"Nobody can withstand the influence of the Hallow! We can find another way to take out the sisters." Bianca snapped.
"There isn't enough time, Bianca! If the sisters succeed they could claim mine and George's powers and perhaps find a way to bring their sister back."
"I won't let you, Christopher," Bianca said her tone firm. "We have a child to think of,"
"All I think about is our child, Bianca!" Chris snapped. "If we don't stop the girls, I can't imagine what world our baby will be born into."
"There has to be another way," Bianca insisted.
"There's not B and I can't let you get in our way." Chris responded he then muttered something in Latin under his breath and Bianca fell into his arms now asleep. He carried her over to their bed and laid her on top of it. "I love you, Bianca."
Christopher then walked back into the living room, where George and Wyatt had scattered lit candles all over. Christopher and Bianca's personal Book of Shadows was opened on two pages dedicated to the Hallow. The three brothers were now standing next together with Wyatt standing in the middle.
'Nos Dico Super In Concessus
Vox Bonus Quod Malum
Ultirusque A Profugus
Addo Is Hic, Addo Is Iam.' They chanted in perfect unison, Wyatt knew there was no point in chanting as he it was Chris and George's magic that summon the Hallow. But still, it made him feel a little bit useful. The earth beneath them began to shake before the living room windows shattered and the Hallow flew in and was absorbed by the three boys! Out of nowhere an Upper-Level Demon shimmered in and threw an energy ball at Wyatt, the boys simply absorbed the attack and the demon's magic before vanquishing him with his own power.
End of Premonition:
Henry Junior is then brought back to reality, his face pale at everything he saw. Enzo had broken hand contact with him and stood a few steps back.
"Well, what did you see?" Kat asked.
"The Hallow, the boys have summoned the Hallow to take the girls out!"
"Damn it," Kat muttered.
Chris then orbed the three over to the Halliwell manor the protection spell to their surprise had been lifted allowing them to enter with no issues. The three appeared in the conservatory and made their way into the main hall they stopped in their tracks their backs were facing the sitting room. PJ and Peyton descended their stairs and were standing in the main hall still near the stairs.
"We've been waiting for you," PJ said.
"Your wait is over." George replied.
"No potions, huh." Wyatt observed.
"We're beyond the need for potions now."
"Funny. So are we." Wyatt responded.
"Enough," Peyton spoke up. The two girls then threw fire from their hands towards the boys. Wyatt, Chris, and George were quick to respond and shot powerful beams of concentrated electricity. The fire and electricity met in the middle of the sitting room clashing with each other. Heavy wind starts to blow random streams of electricity bursts from the centre. The first stream hit the chandelier, exploding it.
Neither the girls nor boys refuse to stop too focused on wanting to kill each other. They don't see the Mitchell siblings orb into the manor standing at an archway. Henry Junior stood in the middle of his two sisters a piece of paper open in his hands.
'Iam Is Addo, Hic Is Addo
Malum Quod Bonus, Vox In Conssesus,
Super Dico Nos' The Mitchell trio chanted over and over again. They were well aware that they didn't have a lot of time. But they were determined that not one of their cousins would die that day. Eventually, the Hallow was banished from Phoebe and Piper's children. But not before both the fire and electricity grew uncontrollable and with the power not having anywhere to go exploded!
All eight cousins scream as each was thrown up backwards PJ and Peyton hit the hallway stairs. Henry Junior was quick to conjure an orb shield around himself and the twins. But they were still sent flying toward the dining table which they crashed into. Finally, Piper's three boys hit the main hall's ceiling; they too scream.
The explosion completely destroys the Halliwell manor dogs on Prescott street bark as pieces of wood burn and car alarms beep.
End of chapter.
