Shinso's face was on fire. Hearing the purring coming from across from him made his heart race. His leg retracted and everyone had their eyes on Marie. The guy next to her was also blushing an innocent blush.

"Damn Marie. Making Danny's wet dreams come true. But you should probably leave that to a bedroom." The girl named Gina said. Shinso still couldn't tell if Gina and Marie were friends or not yet.

"I- I'm going to go." Marie stood quickly, "I will chat with you tomorrow, Shinso." And with that she left.

"Danny, Your woman is in heat. You should go fix that." Gina nudges Danny.

"Stop it." Danny pushes at her, "She can't control that stuff."

"What exactly do you mean?" Shinso spoke up. Although he was embarrassed, he was embarrassed because he knew that he was the reason behind the purr. He didn't really understand much about the subject though.

Besides, his cats would purr all the time.

"Feline quirks purr when they're horny." Gina bluntly told him.

"Ribbit. Not entirely. Any animalia quirk has what we call our inner animal. Things that are outside of our human control. Marie's purr is most likely her inner animal saying that she's enjoying something." Froggy spoke.

"Exactly. She was horny."

Danny elbowed Gina this time, "You only ever have one thing on your mind."

"Don't be salty that you're not the one to make it happen." And that got him to shut up.

"We shouldn't have starred. Ribbit. It's usually embarrassing to have our animals come out. And with that particular animal too."

Hitoshi listened as it was explained how the purr occurred. He had to admit that he was pleased to hear that he was able to create that kind of reaction from her. Even if it wasn't really her as much as it was the inner cat within. He made a mental note to be sure to apologize for the situation tomorrow before class started.

The thoughts were spiraling through Marie's head. That did not just happen.

In front of Danny.

In front of Shinso and the other hero students.

And in front of Gina. Gina was never going to let this go. She'd hold it over her head forever.

Marie paced the room back and forth. She was never more happy than this moment to not share a dorm room. She didn't want to have to explain why she came back with massive flares of embarrassment flaming across her face.

Never in her life has she purred in public. But even thinking further into it she can't remember a time that she felt the purr urges in private either. There were only a few times that it came out when she was hitting feline puberty. She'll never forget because she had her first shed too.

She took in a few deep breaths and tried to calm her mind. Telling herself that this wasn't about Shinsoi.

Or his touch.

Or how the touch seemed to feed something that she didn't even know she was longing for.

It wasn't about any of that. This was simply her animal releasing itself.

She wasn't on guard and now she was aware of the type of situations she'll be facing. It was clear that her inner cat was affected by Shinso and now that she knew that she could work with it.

The purr wasn't any indicator of anything with Shinso by any means.

That's what she kept telling herself as she settled down for the night.

Her usual morning alarm went off and with the swipe of the screen Marie also saw the list of notifications that were also there.

Most of them were tasks for the day and a few texts from her sister Sakura. While dressing in her uniform for the day she read her sister's message about their annual shopping trip. Marie's face displayed a light smile before responding that it was still happening that weekend.

With a quick tug of her backpack she headed out of her dorm. Marie always left earlier than most students in the mornings. She often got her breakfast first before heading to the teachers' space to check on any student aid work.

But when reaching the common area she realized that she didn't really want to be faced with people too soon. Her cheeks heated thinking about what had happened yesterday. The embarrassment makes her sit in the corner of the common room and avoid interactions with the possible Ginazilla. So instead she took out Hitoshi's profile and started taking notes.

Completely ignoring the fact that the whole time that she took them and thought of him, her tail was twisting and twirling behind her.

It was early morning and Shinso was already in his uniform and ready to head out when he stepped into the kitchen.

He watched as his step-father was pouring a bowl of cereal in his half wake state for Eri.

"Hitishiii, Onii-san. Tell him that it's perfectly okay for me to see Kota again."

The family dynamic happened quickly in the apartment. He didn't mind that Eri referred to him as a brother. He had developed the protective brotherly roll rather quickly.

Eri was pouting at that table. Although it's been only a few short years she wasn't the little kid that first started to live at UA. Definitely still a kid but not the primary age that she was.

"I don't know Eri. Are you going to keep beating him in video games till he's angry with you the whole evening?" Shinso gave his sister a pointed look.

Eri and himself both knew why she teased the Kota kid. Gosh, it was something else to think that she was now at an age where she was developing crushes.

Eri's face blushed, "He is my only friend. I don't exactly get out much." She turned to Aizawa, "Can I start real school this year?"

Aizawa grabbed two onigiri from the fridge. Handing one to Hitoshi with a simple, "Eat."

Turning to Eri, "I have a tutor for you that will be going over a full curriculum starting this weekend. You'll be continuing with the other tutors during the week."

He paused to take a bite, "And Kota will be coming to visit soon. Something about Golden Week."

"Headed out." Hitoshi tilted his head and tried to hurry past the table with his onigiri.

"Waaait!" He heard it.

He knew it was coming.

"You can't go till we all do the Bye Bye Chu Chu Kitty Cat Song." Eri called from the table.

The sigh from both Aizawa and Shinso didn't go unnoticed by Eri but what made all the difference was that Shinso headed to the table.

She smiled brightly, "Okay," and she looked between the two guys to watch them take position, "Bye Bye Kitty Cat."

Eri had her hands up like paws. The guys, with straight faces, copied the motion and replied monotone like, "Chu Chu. Meow Meow. Till next time Kitty Cat."

And they both waved their 'paws' bye.

"Okay. I'm going." Hitoshi speed walked to the door. Hoping that Eri wouldn't request anymore of her shenanigans.

Though he wouldn't admit that it was always worth it to see the smile on her face every time he and his step father gave in. He was pretty sure that it was the same reason Aizawa gave in to the silly demands as well.

At least they weren't sporting the matching cat sweaters to the mall.

He was more of a cat person and he wouldn't admit that he enjoyed seeing the occasional cute sight every now and then.

As if his mind wanted to play tricks on him it conjured up the sight of Marie blushing as she purred just the night before.

It would probably be best to apologize today before moving forward with their work together.
