"Here's your breakfast, Anthony." Mama said as she put a plate of eggs and pancakes in front of me. As my sister sat down, she received a similar plate, but with bacon. I couldn't help but shiver, I couldn't eat anything from a pig, they were just to cute.

"Oh hush Anthony, it's just bacon." Molly spoke in an annoyed tone as she dug in. My sister couldn't see why I didn't enjoy pig meat.

"Leave him alone Molly." My mother snapped quickly. She didn't tolerate anyone judging others in her home, and often jumped at the first sign of unfair judgement.

"Yes, Mom." Molly quieted and continued eating a little slower. I hoped she wasn't mad I had gotten her into trouble.

Dad and Arthur were gone this morning, just like they were every morning since Dad had started training Arthur to take after him when he retired or died. Guess Arthur was gonna become head honcho sooner than Dad thought. At least Arthur won't be as big an ass as my father. The mafia would be better in his hands.

"Hello, earth to Anthony." My sister was waving her hand in front of my face, making me blink as I looked at her. She was smiling, guess she wasn't mad at me.

"Yeah?"

"You excited for the start of summer?" That's right! Summer vacation officially started today, I had been so caught up in summoning Alastor right that it must have slipped my mind.

"Oh- yeah! You got any plans, sis?"

"Well I was thinking about going around town with some friends, interested?" Molly always did this, inviting me to come with her so our father didn't send anyone to spy on me. God you slip up and get caught flirting with a guy one time, and it's creepy guy over your shoulder for the rest of your life.

"Nah, think I'll stay home today, nap a bit." I shrugged as a spoke to seem like a didn't give a shit about wasting a day, and it worked. All I hoped was that now no one would disturb me once I was back in my room.

"Well hun, don't stay in there all summer, I want you to try and have some fun. You thrive on getting out and about." Mom sat down with her own plate and started eating. On a normal day, I would appreciate my mom caring about me enjoying my summer, but right now I just really wished she would stay out of my business.

"I won't Ma, I promise I'll get out, just not today."

"Still tired."

"Very." I faked a yawn to be more convincing.

"Well have a nice nap." Molly got up and put her dishes in the sink, then went to the front door, "I'll be back later Mom."

"Before 10 pm!"

"I know!" I heard the door close, signaling that my sister was gone for the day. I got up, having barely managed to finish half of the food on my plate. I didn't have much appetite.

"You're full already, Anthony?" Mama asked with a hint of concern. Great this was all I needed, my mother starting to worry about me while the demon in my room waited. How long could that deer wait before he started to get impatient? I didn't want to find out. I had to get out of here before Ma kept me down here and started fawning over me, thinking I was sick or something.

"Mom, I'm just not hungry." I took a step back to the stairs that lead up to my room.

"Well, if you feel sick, you let me know."

"You know I will Ma." I took that moment and turned to go up the stairs, free of my mother's worries. As soon as I got to my room, I'd be in the clear. I went up the steps two at a time, until I arrived at my room and came to a stop.

Honestly, part of me wondered if he'd still be there, of if it was all an elaborate dream. The suspense soon got the better of me, and I opened to door, slowly. Part of me didn't want the deer to be there, but of course he was. Alastor was sitting in the comfortable leather chair, and looked straight at me as I walked inside. Had he waited there this entire time?

"Well Anthony, how was breakfast? Anything interesting pop up?" Why was the demon acting like a therapist?

"Uh, no it was normal."

"Splendid, now we can get back to business!" A quite cheer sounded off from some invisible radio.

"Okay." I closed the door and took a couple steps into the room, "What do you wanna work out now?"

"Well, if we are going to kill your father the way we plan to, we are going to need a place where we can keep him cut off from others, and him being a crime boss, that'll be a bit difficult."

"Wait, how did you know-" The demon stood up and leaned down to me, smiling like I was a child stating a wrong fact he was dying to correct.

"Anthony dear, do not question why I know what I do, you don't need to worry about that." His long fingers firmly grabbed my chin and made me look him in the eye, "What you need to worry about now, is where we are going to kill your father.
