Hey, As you can see I changed the style of it. Hopefully making it a lot easier to read and distinguish who's talking. I appreciate the constructive Criticism and I always will consider it, so... Tell me if you like this style? Please?

He looked down into the abyss, he dropped a flare into it, watching it fall forever and disappear, hearing a slight "crack!" which signaled that it had finally felled. Luna appeared in front of Lynx, looking at him with hesitation.

"You sure it's safe to jump down there?"

Lynx looked down, shrugging.

"Only one way to find out"

He stuck a foot out and leaped with the other one, diving into the hole, feeling the wind push through his cape, he anticipated hitting the ground. It felt like an hour until he did so, his body shattered into a million pieces.

Luna sighed as she resurrected Lynx, her light pulsating

"I'd say this has been the 10th time you've died?"

He fell to the floor, feeling his face and looking around. With a grunt, he spoke,

"Who's keeping count?"

He walked briskly over to his weapons and slid them onto his back, he turned to his ghost.

"Can I get some light?"

The light of the ghost shined brightly, illuminating mostly everything around him, he stepped on the floor panels with his heavy boots. Lynx looked at the decor of everything, the place was decrepit and left to rot but somehow, it felt important. Wires strung everywhere, corpses lying against the walls. Luna examined one of the corpses, it's entrails being sprawled across the floor.

"Yeesh, this does not look friendly. I'd suggest watching your back."

Lynx looked over to the door, it held a keypad that needed a keycard to unlock. He went searching through corpses and came up with one, Lynx looked over to Luna.

"Don't worry, whatever was here is most likely dead. It has been a few months"

The keycard had a name, Dr. Michael's. Lynx remember reading one of his theories in a book he read, esteemed author. He swiped it through the keypad and opened the door.

The Exo was met with a large console, he looked at it, eyes narrowed

A shadow loomed behind them, sticking to the shadows as not to be seen. Luna saw the shadow dance around, she shined a light quickly and saw a rat scurrying off. The ghost breathed a sigh of relief, she continued to examine the room.

Lynx unlocked the console with a press of his hand, swiping up to unlock it. He searched for where he could plug in a USB port, he eventually found it and started loading all the files onto it. The darkness of the room and the ominous presence of the console made his movements frantic.

He felt shaken in that room, anticipating something sneaking up on him from behind,

"Luna, could you check to see if anyone hasn't followed us in?"

she nodded, taking off to look around. Leaving just him to scurry and gather the files. He had finished the final touches when she appeared, calm and collective.

"Everything looks good, might want to hurry though. Winds picking up."

Lynx nodded and unplugged the USB, shuffling it into his pocket.

They exited the large facility and were greeted with strong snowstorms, he braced with his arms, blocking the snow from hitting his face. It was times like this he wished he had a cloak like a hunter, some of them even get scarfs!

Small mountains shielded under a thick inch of snow were in the far distance as Lynx trudged through the snow, wishing he had brought his ship closer.

He finally caught sight of the ship and dashed in, trying to warm himself up. Lynx had recently installed a terminal into his ship which is where he plugged his USB into. Searching through the files until something perked up his ears.

Ten minutes later, he saw just that. A description matching the same Fallen captain he has been searching for little over a year, the description matched up perfectly; Tall, busty, a bit of a temper. Her armor was bright purple, unknown which faction she was in. Luna looked over Lynx's shoulder looking at what he was reading

"You gotta be kidding me"

Luna sighed, "You told me that Zavala wanted us to give him these files"

She flew around the room, done with this search that has been going on forever, she wanted him to move on, he hasn't since the day they locked eyes and it makes her feel bad when the captain does inevitably try to kill him. Lynx turned to her,

"Well... Plans change."

He shrugged and copied her last location on a sticky note and stuck it on the wall, she had a few weeks ago been on mars, with her squadron. But this report conflicts with it stating that she was in the Edz at around that same time, he scratched his chin looking at the reports.

"Maybe... This is all true, or what if it were different fallen that look alike."

Luna turned to him and then to the board,

"I doubt that they all look the same. maybe she was on mars to scout and then went to the edz"

For now, Luna wanted to support him as he was passionate about this and she felt bad for the way she treated him in the past. Lynx calmed himself by humming a tune that he had no memory of listening to, but it felt nostalgic somehow. Maybe it was a song when he was a human, he couldn't be too sure.

"Well, I guess we're going to the edz. The last known place was near a red legion facility."

They landed not too far from it, Lynx got out his binoculars. It reminded him of when he was with Desmond, he looked to his right and felt odd when he saw him not there. Him going on this journey had made him even more distant from everyone, they don't even know where he is half the time, he hasn't seen them in a few months.

He shook the feeling off when he saw a fallen captain walk with their squadron next to the red legion base.

"No... Fucking... Way."

He narrowed his binoculars and examined, it was her. He felt joyous like all that time had been worth it just to see her. Luna spoke up

"I'll be damned..."

She was as shocked as Lynx was, watching her lead them. He had realized that with all the time he spent finding her, he had no way of Introducing himself, let alone getting close without being fired on immediately.

He pushed himself up, jumping down the rocks and landing on the dirt floor. He saw the guards that were posted up and how quickly she took them down, Lynx was in love. He couldn't admit it but he was, he admired her grace and fidelity with operations, along with her looks.

He followed them inside, keeping high up and out of sights. He saw them swiftly take each cabal soldier down, he was quite impressed with her commanding. He followed them into a large room. Which looked to be some sort of command center, he jumped down and hid behind a crate. They appeared to be taking over this base, the legion had not even noticed this as Lynx could see them loading shipping containers. Lynx heard the front door opening and two cabal soldier entered, he snuck around the other side behind two large crates. He heard them get gunned down, and one of their helmets went flying and almost hit Lynx in the head.

He waited until he heard the room shake, tremors, or something worse. Lynx looked out a window that was in front of him and saw them sending out explosives, causing debris to start raining upon them. He looked up and saw one falling upon her which she promptly escaped, but not before getting her leg slammed into. She was trying to lift it, and another piece of debris cr as caked off and headed straight for her.

Lynx cast his super, destroying the debris and protecting her other soldiers before helping her get out of the fix.

She snarled her teeth at him, Lynx rested a hand upon her shoulder.

"You alright?"

She threw his hand off her, seeing through his helmet, into his eyes. She whispered to him,

"Meet me near Trostland, Midnight, you know where."

She and the rest of her crew took off, leaving Lynx dazed. He looked at his ghost who had just appeared,

"Did she just leave her assignment?" Luna said,

She looked out the window, watching the red legion. Then an explosion rocked the entire base, they had just blown up their fuel source,

"Guess not."

Luna said, disappearing back into Lynx's "backpack", as Lynx headed out of the building, watching all the other red legion funnel in towards the building. He was able to avoid them by sneaking out of an air duct. He called for his ship and hopped in, returning to orbit. Watching the base crumble and fall, after what he heard of the red war. It felt good to destroy them.

But most of all, he felt nervous, giddy, excited, emotional, a ton of emotions because of their little meetup.

"Guess it's a date?" Lynx asked Luna, removing his helmet and setting it next to him on the pilot seat.

"Guess so," Luna responded confusedly, lost in her thoughts.

Lynx noticed a tall, large shadow looming above his ship. He looked on his radar and detected multiple fallen ships, he turned the ship around and faced them. He looked in awe at how many ships there were, that awe lasted only a minute when he realized that they were charging their ship's weapons.

He turned the ship around and engaged the thrusters, "Godamnit, they're sending a whole damn armada after us!"

He saw an asteroid belt at the far edge and believed he could lose them within there, "Luna, plot the best course to that asteroid belt." she nodded and got to work.

Lynx bobbed and weaved through the laser's, though some were able to peg him from behind. He lurches forward, hearing the ship from the inside bend and crease.

He flipped on the additional thrusters. "Luna, can we get a report on the damage?" she swiftly got to work, scanning the ship.

Reaching the belt would take 30 seconds, he just needed to not take much more hu damage, easy right?

Lynx lurched forward as he took another hit to the hull, "Shit!" he said aggravated and nervous, his hands trembled on the controls.

He took a deep breath to calm himself, and grabbed them tightly, "You got those reports yet?"

She nodded, "The hull is under critical condition, I hope you know what you're doing..."

Lynx smiled, pressure. I'm fine right? I think... I hope. He pulled himself out of his thoughts and spun the ship to dodge a few more lasers, five more seconds... four... three... two... he gripped them tightly as he entered the belt. He spun and twisted his ship around each asteroid, focusing on getting back safe. Sometimes he forgets he's immortal, he looked out and watched as most of the ships crashed into the asteroids, he flashed a grin and darted out of there. Hoping to gain a great distance between him and them.

He looked back to see no one there as he stepped out of the seat, his legs shaking like the rest of his body. He had to head into the back to throw up.

He came back a few minutes later, feeling better but not a hundred percent.

"You... think that was her... house?" Lynx asked groggily as he held his stomach, to which Luna shook her head.

"Different house colors painted on the ship, couldn't be her. Although I wonder how they knew where our location was..."

Lynx left with a little more weariness for the fallen captain and a little more confusion.

She knew where both of them would meet up, at the old ravine in which the Exo has seen her. He looked so lost in her presence, it flattered her. It was about midnight when he had arrived,

He stepped down the rock ravine, trying not to miss place his step or else tip over.

He saw her sitting on the rock, he was lost for words when he saw what she was wearing. She wore nothing but lingerie, he froze when he saw it. She noticed him and stood up, her tall frame overshadowing his relatively short stature. She removed his helmet and they kissed, the moonlight hanging above them.

He leaned in, after that kiss she looked down st him,

"You've no idea how long I've wanted to do that..." she spoke softly, each word having a different impact on Lynx. He knew this was wrong, how everyone would react if they saw them. But it felt so damn right, nor did he care anymore about how others felt.

They leaned in for another one, his heart soaring into the heavens above. Oh how he longed for this night to be forever, she eyed him seductively. Then started to undress...

He ran his hand down her body, all the scars and marks, things she thought were ugly made him go crazy. He felt a large scar on her stomach, his cold hand made her wince.

"How'd you get this one?" he asked politely, his head looking down taking in the picture of her body.

She paused to reflect, "I got that in a sparring match with another Eliksni. Some dumb argument I believe." They lied on his room in the tower, no one had seen her when they entered, lucky for them. It was at 2 AM, the time where most of the city is sleeping. Even some guardians like to sleep, just to dream or out of habit.

They spent the rest of their night telling each other stories of their past, some were woeful, others were more cheerful. He had watched her fall asleep, "Love you Ciryus..." he whispered slowly and quietly to not disturb her.

He lied awake for an hour, feeling utterly confused inside. He loved her, he wanted this. But he knew he had to keep it a secret from everyone, he felt so anxious and nervous again, he didn't want this... Until he looked over to her, quietly resting. She was stunning and made him feel alive. He knew he needed to make this work he had to. She was his beacon of hope, that everything was going to be okay. He said to himself, which helped him calm down he then slowly started to fall asleep...

He was in a black plain, with a tower off in the distance. Not the tower where the traveler looms above it, but the tower where the Exos was born. Where he was born.

In the dream, there were people, people who he saw normally and his friends and family. They all were reincarnated as these black figures, who barely resemble the people he loved. He slaughtered them all in an attempt to get to it, he brutally beat them and felt the wrath and vengeance in his hands. He was blind with rage, he didn't make it to the tower, as a figure resembling Desmond, stabbed him clean in the chest, he also ripped his head off.

He woke up quickly, hearing the door being knocked on. He looked to his side seeing her still with him, she woke her up to her dismay and told her to hide somewhere in the room. She hid in the closet, feeling cramped and naked as she only brought her lingerie.

Lynx put on his clothes and quickly opened the door, making sure whoever was out there saw the least amount of the room. He looked and saw Marjolein standing in the hallway, she was dressed in her normal clothing, when she wasn't in her armor she would wear a jacket and jeans.

"Hey, Lynx. You saw Desmond anywhere?"

Lynx shook his head, putting the side of his head up to the door for support, blocking the view of the closet.

She walked into his room, sitting on the bed. "Can you call him or something? It's urgent."

Lynx stood there dismayed at her inviting herself in, he stood there for a second before commenting

"Yeah, invite yourself in."

He said sarcastically, shutting the door. He looked at her,

"I can call him, just don't touch anything y' hear? I'm a neat freak."

She giggled at that remark, considering his room looks like such a pigsty. She even saw the wallpaper scratched and torn up above the bed.

"Real... Nice place you got here," she said, wondering when everything went awry.

Lynx established comms communication with him,

"How's it going Lynx? Been a while." Desmond's voice boomed over the comm.

"Nice to hear from you too man, listen." he turned over to look at Marjolein, "Marjolein needs you for uh, something. She says it's urgent."

You could hear Desmond cuss lightly, he paused then spoke again

"It's probably about the strike, isn't it? Listen, I'll be there in about thirty minutes. Tell her to meet me in the hangar."

Lynx smiled and spoke with a slight hint of happiness, "Gladly." he signed off

He turned to Marjolein who was helping to pick up clothes off the floor, Lynx ran over and grabbed her wrist

"Ok, please don't touch my stuff." He concernedly looked to her, and a quick look at the closet.

Marjolein turned to the closet, then back to Lynx. He spoke to her,

"Desmond will meet you at the hangar." He let go of her wrist, watching her walk out of the room and shut the door behind her.

He took a deep sigh and sat on the bed for a minute, Ciryus walked out of the closet and laid next to him,

"That your friend?" Lynx nodded in response, rubbing his hands together. He turned to face Ciryus.

"Yeah... She's a... A good friend." She rested her head onto his shoulder, making Lynx calm and relaxed. She spoke again,

"Y'know, I was thinking last night about when you got attacked. That squad was probably led by Eramis." Lynx shifted his head down to her resting on his shoulder than to the wall.

"Eramis?" Lynx asked, slowly rubbing her back. He had never heard such a name, yet it sounded familiar. Ciryus paused and then continued

"Eramis The Ship Stealer. She is trying to make a new house, one with members of all the other houses."

Luna appeared before them, "You mean the Eramis that tried to steal the Outbreak Prime? The Siva infused weapon?" Luna danced around in the air, looking directly at Ciryus.

She took her head off his shoulder and stood up, looking at Luna. "Precisely." her eyes narrowed.

Luna shook her shell, "What do you think she's doing out there?" Lynx chimed in,

"What're you talking about?" he still sat down, looking up the both of them. Swaying his head to the left a bit.

They both turned to him, Luna looked out the window. "She was near Io when they attacked us, we should head there..." Luna said, turning to both of them.

Lynx paused for a minute, confused as to where this was heading, he then turned to Ciryus and handed her his warlock cloak, "Put this on if we're heading out. Might not fit you but it'll help people not see you."

She did so and slid it on, it was a very tight fit but it helped conceal enough of her as they exited the building and entered into Lynx's ship, he turned it on and flew out of the tower. Setting a course for Io.

All lynx had on was a t-shirt and khakis, weird for a scouting mission, but he figured nothing intense would happen.

"Now is a good time to tell me why are you so interested in Eramis Luna?" he eyed her, resting his hands on his waist.

"Because," Luna said, "This house, it sounds dangerous. All the members of previous houses? Sounds bad."

Lynx looked at both of them, seeing their determined faces and nodded slowly. "Fine, I'm in. What're we here for then?"

Luna took a quick scan of the area around them, "I detected a beacon nearby here, seemed to be using some kind of last city tech."

Lynx looked confused, he raised his voice and followed Luna as she floated around. "What if it were a human beacon? It could've been misplaced or something."

Luna nodded, "See. That's what I originally thought, but the beacon transmitted a code... In Eliksni" Lynx and Ciryus turned to each other, he then turned to Luna

"Can you ask Ciryus to translate it?" his voice quick, along with his pace. He needed to find out where to hit them next.

They climbed up a steep, rocky hill. Lynx almost slipping numerous times, he reached the top and helped Ciryus get up. They both looked across the crest shaped hole where the fallen have set their base up.

Lynx seemed confused, he wondered why their base was set up there. He wanted to figure it out for himself but knew he was not ready to capture their captain with the whole armada on his ass.

He ran a finger along his head, inspecting the many grooves on it, he did this when he was thinking of something.

"Ok. I think it's time we bring everyone back." He said, smirking as his hands bounced around, gesturing many things. Luna spoke inside Lynx's comms,

"Everyone? Wouldn't you have to show Ciryus to them?" Lynx had considered that, and frankly, he didn't care too much about others thoughts.

He gripped the barrel on his hand cannon, inspecting it and toying with it. "Alright." His voice was serious and firm, he waved the gun around "We attack this tomorrow, I'm sure everyone will be dying to meet you. Luna, establish communication with them, we're going to be meeting up."

Luna was glad to see the old Lynx back, one who would take charge and come up with a plan. She could watch the gears turn in his head each time he talked, he was coming up with an idea. One that was bold, one that was crazy, one that she knew would be perfect.

"Yes, Lynx." Luna said, getting into contact with them. Lynx slid the gun into his pocket, watching Ciryus's expression change to happy,

"You know just what to say..." She smirked, kissing him on his head.

Lynx smiled, "Shall we head off Ma chérie?" She smiled and nodded her head, her mandibles clicking lightly.
