Gold Digger the Insertion Files

I must again apologize for taking so long to update this story as I know many fans love this one and it has been over a year since I posted the last chapter. In that time I have been working, going to school, taking graduate work (got a 97-98 on my final grade in that class) and taking care of all the responsibilities of being an adult so writing for fun took a backseat. However that is not to say that ideas and work on this ever stopped, as I continue to try to work out how this story was going to play out and admittedly adding more games to my library of characters to use. So here we go again into the story.

Gold Digger belongs to Fred Perry

All characters I use belong to their prospective owners (Marvel, Disney, DC, Star Wars, Bioware, etc.) and I don't get a dime from this as it is just fanfiction so please be understanding

When last we left our heroes Jetta and Britanny had made peace between the werewolf and werecheetah clans as we all lick our wounds and try to find the element needed to stop Armegedon/Gyphon once and for all.

"So tell me…Britanny...I take it that you were raised by humans most of your life correct?" Jetta asked as she held the infant Pojo close to her breast and attempted to smile somewhat to the woman I loved and who Jetta just a moment ago was going to attempt to kill.

"Uh yea." Britanny hesitantly replied as the rest of us kept our distance and waited to see how this would play out. "Something wrong about that?"

"For the most part no that is not an issue, but did you have another lycan teach you all that goes into being a lycanthrope?"

"Hey Alex how about we get that ezzo while Britanny and Jetta play peacemakers?" Gina groaned as she was surrounded by a series of near trademark violating uber cute animals that looked like they were fresh out of Snow White.

"At least you are back to your usual persnickety self." I replied through the otherworldly gurgling voice of the symbiote.

"You know Alex this would go a lot faster if you would get your butt over here and started looking." Gina said as she chunched one of the goggles at me. I chuckled at this a bit, placed he frames over my head, and found that as Venom the lack of ears and a nose meant that I had to mold the tissue of the costume around the device and try to see through it while most of the visual data I was getting was from the massive white patches and some from the rest of the costume's skin.

"So what exactly are looking for sis?" Brianna said as she slide her combat visor up and placed on her own pair of shades. "Raw ore? Some sort of rock formation?"

"No idea Bri." Gina sighed as she shrugged looking at some sort of scanner device in her hand. Give me a moment to calibrate this thing again as it got busted a bit getting here."

The oldest of the Digger sisters went about trying to get her computer working in a manner similar to a certain hologram projection used by one time traveler.

"Where is here exactly anyway?" Stripe asked as he fitted the glasses he was to use on his head. "I am guessing we are still on earth as we can breve without difficulty and you have some history with Cheetah's people."

This last bit was directed towards Thabian as Stripe looked up towards the face of the one who he was fighting not too long ago.

"Where we are man-cat I can not say, but the answer is over there to your right." Thabian chuckled as he tossed his head towards his right as the sun began to rise.

As the golden rays shone through what had been a still though violent night, there appeared before our eyes a giant stone monolith which seemed to glow with an inner light but only seemed illuminate as the rising sun hit it. From the surface of the monolith appeared lines which sparkled and twinkled like silvery starlight. These lines started for forms words such that as soon as the whole of the feature was bathed in light words that seemed in my own handwriting now covered the structure which read as follows

"Eden: All Who Are Cast Out May Never Reenter"

"Wait…you can't be serious…" I asked as I turned to the werewolf with my jaw dropping in awe. This was more shocking than otherwise as Venom's mouth is so huge and his hyper elastic jaw with the aid of the unstable symbiotic tissue.

"Indeed it is, which is why we are here to begin with." Thabian continued. "We were brought to this place years ago to watch the garden and to allow none to enter, even ourselves."

"I do not understand." Stripe said as he got a good look at the monolith. "What is this Eden and why is the message written in stylized Kyrn identical to my own handwriting?" Stripe was truly at a loss and scratched the back of his head wondering about the minor mystery of the stone.

"I think we better get back to work." I said as I headed off to see where Gina and Brianna had gotten off to. "Armegeddon won't be rendered inactive for long and we have to stop him or Atlantis is lost forever…or worst."

Thankfully the two ladies hadn't gotten too far from where the three of us had ben standing. Still surrounded by what looked like the animal cast of Snow White or Bambi. Gina was continuing to become irate at the animals continued involvement in her attempts to find the ezzo while Brianna was going back and forth from looking for the element and given each one of the furry wonders a big hug. The youngest of the sisters was as giddy as a kid as each one of the deer or bunnies would approach her and receive a rub on the head or a big hug. Gina's reaction to this was to groan and focus on her work.

"About time you started helping us." Brianna smiled as a pair of plump bunnies, bearing a striking similarity to one grey furred male and orange furred female which need not be named, were cuddling on her lap.

"Look who's talking sis." Gina groaned in disgust. "I'm busy trying to find the freaking element we are searching for while you are burning daylight daydreaming you are some sort of copyright infringing royal from a kids movie."

Sadly Gina did have a point as we were on a mission and already had spent way too much time where we were to begin with.

"Now if any of you oversized musclebound meat heads will also get your butts and tails over here to assist me maybe we can get out of here before that giant metal monster starts killing people."

"Fine. So any idea what we are looking for?" I replied as I approached Gina and she started to shiver a bit looking upon the rather monstrous form of Venom.

"No, which is why I handed everyone those x-ray specs." She replied. "The element we are looking for glows in x-ray light like a blue neon light." This comment was loaded with quite a bit of frustration as Gina was moving her scanner back and forth over a small section of the clearing we were in opposite of Eden's entrance.

"So what's the problem?" Seems like your scanner doofer is going off like congressman on a tirade." I replied looking at the flashing lights and dials all in the red.

"Yes, but the problem is I can't seem to pinpoint where it is." Gina more calmly replied as we all seemed to focus back on the topic at hand. "I can't see the glow I need to so I'm guessing it's buried like an ore, but the scanner is saying it's right at the surface and all I have here is these copious amount of flowers."

Said flowers with a rather unique blue throughout not only the petals but left a hue in the stem and leaves as well and seemed to be everywhere around our female compatriots. I immediately noticed that they were the same color with the specs on or not and then face palmed as I handed Gina back her shades, grabbed a few of the pretty blooms in my hand, ripped them from the ground, and then held them in front of the scanner. Gina's eyes went wide as she looked back and forth between her device and the plants with and without her own lenses on her face.

"Of all the stupid…" The frustrated scientist groaned to herself.

"What is it sis?" Brianna asked as she looked over her shorter siblings shoulder.

"It's the stupid flowers. The hindrium is hyper concentrated in the flowers." Gina facepalmed as she finally got what was right in her face the entire time.

"Hey why is everyone standing around?" A familiar voice sounded behind us as I could feel the air pressure shift from two large bodies getting near us and withdrew the symbiote from my face.

"Oh hi sweetheart." I smiled at Britanny as she Jetta and Pojo approached us. "We found what we were looking for and…" Before I realized what I had done Britanny's eyes went super wide and teared up as she cupped her hands together and smiled.

"Oh muffin you got me flowers." She said though happy tears. "How sweet of you." Her pounce was faster than greased lightning and before I or the suit could react there was a purring mass of muscle who had leapt into my arms and had wrapped her arms, legs, and tail around me while sucking my face. The costume then, operating on pure instinct, unwrapped from my body and held Brittany even closer to me and starting teasing every single nerve in her skin teasing her pleasure senses and tickling every sweet spot she had not covered by clothing. I could almost taste her desire, or rather her pheromones, as her purs vibrated through both the symbiote and me.

"Great now those two are going at it again." Gina grumbled as she started grabbing flowers along with Stripe and Brianna and tossing them into a sack Gina had pulled out of her explorer's club bag.

"Well looks like we won't have to worry about the werecheetahs dying off for good anytime soon." Thabian chuckled to himself.

"Husband" Jetta replied while Pojo slept in her arms. "I have one question for you."

"Yes dear?" Thabian replied looking down towards his wife.

"Why don't you ever pick me any flowers?" Jetta huffed towards her husband who looked like he was slightly ashamed of the fact that was not one of the ways he had shown his wife his appreciation of her.

"So what were you up to Brit?" I say as I retracted the symbiotic material from her and shifted back to my normal self as Britanny held the flowers in her hand and kissed me a few times thanking me. Her tail still up in the air and her big green eyes filled with joy that her smile amplified.

"Well Jetta was kind enough to show me how to shift more than once a day when it isn't a full moon so I can go from my uber sexy hybrid form." Britanny said posing with the blue petals brushing against her cleavage, "To my adorable human form." With a whoosh sound the exceedingly tall werecat was reduced in stature to her 5 foot even more elven looking human guise. The combination in decreased height and the flowers now being relatively larger to her made her look precious as she stood there before me. "And back again." My started to develop a case of whiplash as my gaze when up and down with the stance of my lady friend.

"I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing your smile." I said as I placed my hands around hers and took the flowers back and set one of the blooms in her hair. "What do you think?"

"I think that we need to go and process this stuff before it's too late to save Atlantis." Gina nearly screamed as she huffed the sack over her shoulder. "Here why don't you be useful and help carry this stuff for when we get back home." The recipient of this annoyance was Britanny as Gina completely ignored me and went into her pack to grab her light gate generator.

"Freaking lovebirds…" The irate discoverer commented as she pressed the button on her device and a loud boom sounded as a bright light illuminated where we were standing. "Alright people everyone who is heading for Atlanta better get your butts in gear as we are leaving."

"Indeed." Jetta added as she grabbed one of the sacks full of flowers and handed her child to her husband. "I will be home before too long dear."

"Of course. We can go one day by ourselves." Thabian smiled and held his wife for a second in the crook of his arm. "Just please be safe my love." Jetta smirked as she kissed her husband and joined the rest of the party.

"You are joining us then?" Stripe asked as he was carrying two large sacks full of flowers over his shoulders.

"I am. And while I doubt you would have the ability to stop me even if you wish to, I am doing this as to make peace between the werewolf clan and the last of the remaining werecheetahs." Jetta answered. "There has been too much blood between our people and I will do everything I can to end this pointless feud."

"I understand that sentiment very well." Stripe nodded. "But tell me ma'am, do you believe that the other werewolves will abide by any peace you are willing to make?"

"They will; I'm the alpha of the whole werewolf clan." Jetta smirked with pride. Gina blinked at this as everyone headed through the lightgate and back to Atlanta.

"Okay people we have to move fast." Gina said as she tossed her sack onto the floor of her lab and started to run around various equipment set up throughout the room.

To understand the true immensity of the Gold Digger Industry labs imagine if you will the Batcave level of subterranean layers compartmentalized into sections based upon the needs of it's head designer and developer: Gina Diggers. Rooms dedicated to each sub-sect of scientific research with catalogs of specimens, carefully recorded experiments, and vast farms of servers in carefully temperature controlled rooms filled a space about the size of the Pentagon. Recently upgraded to run on a self-contained arch reactor about the size of a semi, and with multiple armory and weapons cashes throughout the building, Gold Digger labs was a virtual fortress even before getting seriously upgraded with carbon ceramics and nanotube structural components. Holographic interfaces marked off which are was which and the sounds of the automatic manufacturing section pounded in the background. In short the whole complex was a marvel of technology and Gina was all too happy to add to it with assistance from my alternate personas.

"Start unpacking the plants and help me get them to then incinerator." Gina was moving almost as fast as Britanny in a jog as she prepared to put her idea into action. "We will first have to burn the plants, then we are going to get it to my particle accelerator to help concentrate the material we need to combine the crown and gem of returning and keep that connection stable. Once we have that taken care of we will have to book it to Atlantis and use that combined artifact to obliterate Armeggedon once and for all."

"Forgive me for asking, but who is this Armeggedon?" Jetta asked as she started to follow Gina's lead.

"He is the culmination of two ancient races technologies forged into a massive engine of devastation." Stripe answered as he too was dumping the plants out of the sacks. "And if we do not stop him, the submerged realm of Atlantis is doomed followed shortly by the rest of the world."

"And sadly we are running low on time before his batteries start up again after we put the big kawowwie on him and he starts wrecking up the world." Brianna added as she started tossing leaves, petals, and stems all into the burn chamber.

"So how many of these things do we have to burn?" I asked as I joined Brianna in the shoveling while Jetta, Brit, and Stripe were occupied with sweeping the parts into a pile for Brianna and I to shovel from.

"I honestly have no idea as I am uncertain of two things." Gina answered as she took a small black metal box with a handle on it from a nearby desk and set it on the floor off to the side of the incinerator. "One is the concentration of the material we need is not known in either the flowers or with the two artifacts we are trying to put together."

"And the other thing?" Britanny asked as she started to help shovel the plants into the incinerator which was almost overstuffed by now.

"I have no idea how long the things will hold together." Gina sighed as she carefully sealed the safety shield and turned on the machine.

While most incinerators may use flames fueled by propane, Gina's seemed to work by plasma induction. The tinted screen helped shield most of the dangerous heat from us, the flowers quickly radiated a bright blue/purple as they became excited and started to burn. As the flames continued to consume the plants, Gina opened a side chamber to the incinerator and inserted the box from earlier inside. After pressing a few buttons the box lit up with a red LED indicator.

"So what exactly are you doing Gina?" Stripe asked as he gazed at wonder of the demonstration before us.

"I am currently reducing the samples to their most basal components and collecting them in the form of a vaporized cloud." Gina answered carefully checking the machinery. "Since we only want to collect the lightest of these particulates I have to first burn these plants and then use my particle accelerator to filter out only what we need."

While she continued to explain the color of the LED was shifting from red to yellow as the container seemed to indicate that the vessel was filling.

"And how long will this take?" Brit asked Gina as she was preening the flower in her hair so that the steam was now tightly held in her ponytail.

"A few hours at most I hope." Gina sighed as she rubbed her eyes. "Hey Alex can you do me a favor?"

I blinked a few times and then shrugged. "Sure what do you need Gina?"

"Coffee and fast." Gina replied. "Upstairs in the kitchen there should be…" Before she had a chance to finish I had already shifted into a form she was familiar with as I was decked in red with lightning bolts on the side of my head and plastered on my shirt.

Before anyone could comment I already had run up the stairs, started the pot, ground the beans, started the brewing, and used the Flash's fantastic control of vibration to mix and heat up the brew and mix it faster and more completely than any machine could. I was complete and back down the stairs faster than the super genius could finish her question and she found the fresh cup in her hand in an instant.

"Thanks." Gina said without getting excited by what had just happened. She just started drinking the beverage and got back to her work.

"How did you…" Jetta asked as she was in shock at what happened. "Wait wait wait a second please, what did you just do?" The werewolf was confused beyond measure.

"You just get used to it after a while." Stripe said, understanding Jetta's confusion all too well. "Apparently Alex has the ability to assume the form, abilities, and powers of multiple beings and I have only seen a handful of them myself."

"Well that is…interesting." Jetta noted as she wasn't sure how to react to this information.

"Almost as interesting as what a werewolf is doing in my house." A familiar female voice said as she appeared from the doorway to the lab with a familiar male form by her side.

"Hi mom, dad, how are you doing?" Brianna smiled as she welcomed her parents into the work space, but Julia didn't move her hand from the hilt of her sword while Dr. Digger was holding his pipe tight in his lips.

"I am well thank you." Julia smiled back, though she did hold tight the hilt of her blade and kept her eyes fixed solid on Jetta not turning her gaze away for a moment as the two ladies started to size each other up. "So who is our guest?" Julia's voice was forceful, but not per say rude. Blunt bordering on abrupt but as the matriarch of the Digger's home she had right to be such in the company of werewolves, knowing the history between them and her adopted daughter.

"Mom," Britanny said as she slowly heading between her mother and Jetta. "please don't…"

"It is alright Brit, I just want to know who this is and what she is doing here." Julia was being political at this point as everyone waited to see how this was going to play out.

"Very well, I take it that you are the ones who raised Britanny after the other werecheetah's were slaughtered?" Jetta said while taking a very neutral stance, but not once letting her sight leave its locked position with the redhead.

"Indeed, and she is just as much my daughter as Gina and Brianna." Julia replied. "And I know what happened with the rest of her biological family very well after Brendan and Gothwraine betrayed them."

"They betrayed us all." Jetta corrected, with a mixture of shame and anger. "And my father's name is to this day despised among all of my people. So hated is he that we bound him in heavy chain and sealed him forever in a box of spikes made of steel so that for the rest of his days he would be in constant pain from hunger and suffering."

"Wouldn't he have starved to death by now?" Stripe asked. "After all Britanny was an infant when this happened and now she is a grown woman."

"Lycans do not die like humans, or I guess your people either Stripe." Jetta said as she did finally move her head so to look at the next person who wished to talk with her. "Only silver, magic, or another lycan is known to cause permanent harm to one of us, and we age far more slowly than humans do."

"If I may also interject…" Dr. Diggers said as he tapped new leaves into his pipe. "Who decided to administer this fate to him?"

"It was agreed upon by several of the eldest members of the tribe, but I had the final say as Alpha of the clan." Jetta replied. "And forgive me, but you smell familiar wizard, who are you if I may ask?"

"Actually it's mage not wizard." Dr. Diggers smiled with a calm manner in his voice, acting as the peacemaker he always tried to be…or mostly tried to be. "And I was there when the two of your people tried to make peace with eachother, only to be too late."

"Well I guess that explains why I know your scent." Jetta smirked as she faced Julia again. "But after I defeated my father in single combat and was given the authority to act as the judge of his actions and so would make sure that he did not escape from the constant reminder of what he did."

"So what brings you to Georgia?" Julia questioned. "I would think that you would want to leave the last of the werecheetahs in peace."

"Actually your daughter and her party showed up uninvited to my home but a few hours ago and I am only in part here because of her. In truth it is your future in-law that brings me here."

"WHAT!?" Julia and Theo asked in shock. I went into mental blue-screen hearing this, and it took Britanny tapping me on the shoulder to reset my processing system.

"Britanny's partner, the young man over there who apparently changes form at will and who just brought the drink your other daughter has been enjoying for the past few minutes." Jetta clarified. "Is that not what you call them, or did I just commit a faux pas?"

"Yes well, what is your interest in Alex then?" Dr. Diggers asked, being the first to get back on his mental feet. "And while it is clear the two are close, well I shall hold off from speculating on how close till they say such."

"Thanks." I said quickly, hoping for the moment of being put on the spot passed. Britanny kissed me on the head while I rubbed her back at the base of the tail.

"Regardless of that…"Jetta got back to answering Julia's question. "He saved the life of my son, even after I attacked Britanny and my husband held the rest of the group at bay. Because he literally took a bullet for my boy, I ended the feud between my people and Britanny. So I am here to help build peace between myself and Britanny both through completing this quest and by teaching her all that a lycan should know that you did not know how to teach her."

Julia seemed to accept this answer and finally released her grip from the hilt of her weapon. "Very well." Julia smiled. "Then may I formally welcome you to my home. I am Julia Diggers, and this is my husband Theodore Diggers. You have already met the rest I take it."

"A pleasure." Jetta took Julia's hand in friendship. "Jetta, Alpha of the Werewolf clan."

"And a bullet? Really Alex what could possess you to do that?" Dr. Diggers asked looking at me.

"The fact that a silver bullet would have killed him if I hadn't?" I answered. "Jetta attacked out of instinct and had to keep Britanny safe, but the kid was going to be killed unless I acted and so I got shot in the back and absorbed the bullet before any harm was done."

"Well I guess getting shot isn't nearly as dangerous as facing off a dragon, or what you did to protect Atlantis." Theo said as she smiled.

"Or freeing my people from slavery." Stripe added. "And then there was the whole giant mech you stopped in Atlantis."

"It has been a busy month hasn't it?" I smiled.

"So the friendship of the two favored children of Iceron is only par for the course in your line of work?" Jetta joked.

"No I'm a geologist and paleontologist, my work involves long hours collecting rocks and dreaming of worlds millions of years old." I joke back. "This is what I do on my off-time."

"Less talking, more cuddles." Britanny said as she squeezed me. "You can save the world in a bit, but for now you can stop revealing in the achievements and pay attention to your most important part of your life: me." I shrugged in agreement as I started to fulfill my boyfriend responsibilities and proceeded to administer my delayed backrubs.

While many images exist of Britanny through the years they never got the feeling quite right on how her silky fur blends into her rock-hard muscles. Thankfully years of cuddling cats granted me a great deal of understanding on how to appreciate Britanny in a manner which she had now become accustomed. In a few seconds she was purring softly while her tail wrapped around my waist and she started munching on a chocolate chip cookie.

"So anyone want to tell Jetta the truth about Iceron or we just going to leave that be?" Brianna asked Gina as the eldest of the sisters was busy working while everyone was talking.

"I'll worry about that later." Gina groaned as she started shacking the cup. "Refill now."

"You know you do have to work on the concept of please." Brianna said as she ran off to get more coffee for Gina.

"Whatever, world saving science now and manners later when we have time." Gina was almost unaware of her sister as the lycanthorpoid took the cup and went on her way.

"So how close are we to solving this problem Gina?" Theodore asked as Gina took the box from the incinerator and ran it off to her mass accelerator.

"About an hour or so to filter this and then we run back to Atlantis." Gina said as she pressed the button activating her systems headed to the loading area with the samples.

"Just about enough time for you to tell her the truth about her people, and about Iceron." Gina said as she opened the sample door and slammed the box inside. Apparently the box opened automatically inside the holding device as it starting blinking different colors and making weird noises. "I on the other hand need to focus on my work so please continue."

"What are you talking about?" Jetta asked Gina in complete bewilderment. "Iceron made the lycanthrope races thousands of years ago and then suddenly vanished leaving little more than legend. Today his is revered and honored as the creator of all weres, but I don't see what more could be known as this happened so long ago."

"You are right in everything you said, but the more complete truth is that…" I then went into detail about the Iceron/Gotherwaine connection and the whole werecheetah extermination/selling the werewolves into slavery…which went over about as well as to expected.

"WHAT!" Jetta yelled. She was absolutely livid as she listened to my retelling of the backstory of Gold Digger and about how I knew all this, she looked at me like I was a nut.

"It's true." I replied while Britanny had jumped back seeing an upset werewolf towards us. It took a great deal of coaxing to get my lady friend to relax somewhat.

"But then why?" Jetta was going through exactly what Britanny and Brianna had gone through when first were told this. "Why are we here if we were just made to be expendable soldiers?"

"Jetta Iceron took people and forced them to be lycans, he didn't give you your soul or make you the person that you are any more than he made Britanny who she is." I said to her.

"Well said, and if I am half the aura mage I know I am then I can read that you are a woman of honor and noble character." Dr. Diggers added. His aura radiated with a soft glow for a moment as he took a good look at the werewolf alpha and gazed her up and down. "And I can attest that you are neither evil as your father or intend harm to my family." His aura died down as Jetta relaxed a bit hearing the patriarch of the household's vote of confidence.

"Gina you seem rather quiet during this." Julia said as Brianna ran back into the room with more coffee.

"I'm just working mom." Gina said as she downed more caffeine. "You all can be peacemakers and build cultural bridges all you want as I need to focus on what I am doing here."

True to her word, Gina seemed to be completely oblivious to us as she was focused on extracting the purified ezzo. Just watching her work for a moment made you think you were looking at a statue rather than a person, and not because of her idealized looks. She didn't move her head or most of her body as she carefully held control over the mass accelerator. I just shrugged and figured that she knew exactly what she was doing and spent time making sure the lady of my life was happily adored properly.

"So after we finally collect this stuff, what do we do with it?" Stripe asked as he scratched the back of his head. "I understand that somehow we combine my royal crown with the gem of returning, but how does this actually defeat Gyphon?"

"I was kind of wondering that myself." Britanny asked as she almost inhaled the next cookie she took out.

"Well, it's simple really." Gina smirked, about to go into one of her long and almost rambly detailed explanations. "The mechanical being that is Armegeddon is powered by the mystic artifacts of Stripe's people ad those artifacts and their arcane powers flow throughout that thing's body."

Gina only took a moment from her work as she continued to go into her analysis. "You saw that in the power chamber when you tried to stop the monster before it was unleashed."

"Yes, sadly we were too late." Stripe sighed wearily.

"Well only that time yes, but you managed to expose it's weakness. The crown of your people still is in our possession and it is the artifact which bypasses any enchantment or containment they are in. And when it is combined with the Gem of Returning it will solve all of our problems as the gem returns things to where they belong."

"And without the artifacts to power the machine, it becomes nothing but a worthless mass of metal." Stripe smiled seeing the beauty in Gina's plan.

"Even better." Gina said. "The artifacts do not just power Armegeddon, if your scientists and engineers are correct, they are what keep him together in the first place."

"So if I understand you right sis then the crown takes the gem to the artifacts, the gem then activates knowing the artifacts are not where they belong and so return them to El Dorado and the whole thing falls apart back to where it came from and Gyphon finally goes bye-bye with Atlantis, El Dorado, and the rest of the world safe from that evil for the rest of time while we start making repairs to everything?" Brianna said insightfully while listing off each item while counting down on her fingers.

"Exactly my brilliant sibling." Gina smiled.

"Awesome. So when do we leave to start off this finally operation?" Britanny smiled as she cracked her knuckles.

"Well sis, there is one, small, tiny, almost completely unimportant little detail to get this all to work right." Gina said as she finished the final preparations to the refinement process.

"And that is?" Britanny groaned knowing where this was going.

"For this to work the artifacts need to be activated, as in…"

"The bastard has to be in operation for it to work." Britanny shook her head in disbelief.

"Well yes, but someone has to hold the thing near that battery for it to work, so one of us will have to travel back into Armeggedon and toss this thing into the engine room and then somehow get out before they are flash fried." Gina explained.

I'll do it." Stripe said as he stood in front of Gina and was adamant about it. Before anyone could raise any objection, he continued. "As a member of the royal family of the Kyrn I likely the artifacts will not harm me as they would the rest of you."

"Good to know." Brianna said.

"So what are we going to do while Stripe goes in alone?" I asked outloud in case anyone had a good idea. "Not to mention how are you going to get out the shit hits the fan?"

"Alex, you have done far more for my people than anyone has a right to ask, but this is something which I must do. I can't accept your help in this for many reasons and before anyone considers this a personal vendetta or vanity." Stripe said with absolute conviction. "I have no doubt that the insides of that machine will be just as dangerous as the first time we went into him, with the added difficulty of being filled with the energy from the artifacts throughout his structure, but I will need everyone to keep him occupied away so he stays put and away from the Atlantians. If I get caught in him moving about then likely I shall be lost. I need you to keep him pinned for as long as possible."

"Sounds like a plan to me." I smile back at him.

"And Jetta, I have a request of you." Stripe said as he turned to the werewolf alpha.

"And what would that be?" Jetta asked in curiosity.

"I have heard that lycans are resistant to all damage outside of silver, magic, or another lycanthrope." Stripe said in deep respect to her. "And I have faced your husband in battle so I know that your kind are quite resilient to damage and recover quickly."

"Yes, we are the most resilient of all the lycan people." Jetta said with no small amount of pride. "So what do you need me for?"

Stripe took a moment to collect his thoughts before he spoke. "I need you to go with me into the very heart of that beast. And to help make sure I am able to complete my part of this mission."

"It would be my pleasure to help." Jetta replied with a genuine smile.

"And you, Britanny, Alex, Gina, and Brianna….I ask that you please keep that thing occupied for as long as possible."

"Works for me pal." Brianna answered as she grabbed a remote which summoned a large swarm of peeboos. "So when do we leave?"

It was only a bit more time when Gina collected the ezzo she required and we were all once more geared up for one final confrontation with Armegeddon.

"You sure you don't want to just us on this mom and dad?" Brianna asked as she was decked out in modified version of her power armor that she had put together which seemed to be part mass effect blood dragon armor and part Iron Man suite. She left her head exposed save for but an orange colored visor with to extended ear pieces/radio transvers which acted as the anchor point for the visor. She hated the limited range of vision that helmets force on people, but wanted the extra durability that the Blood Dragon armor offers for shields and boost but with added bulk and a far more powerful energy source in the arch reactor placed in the chest. When combined with the dual matrix defense shield system the overall package is one of an almost impenetrable defense without sacrificing speed or agility. She was still working out how to add thrusters to give the set-up air-compatibility.

"Don't worry dear you have it all under control." Julia patted her youngest on the shoulder as the older woman gave her complete vote of confidence. "Besides there is always the potential of someone else causing trouble in the world, so we will watch the place while you go play hero."

"Ready muffin?" Britanny said slapping me on the back after tightening her shoe laces.

"Always." I said as I aimed to slap her back, missed and accidentally slapped her ass. I immediately thought I made a colossal mess up, only to have her purr immediately and wrap her tail around me.

"Oh you…" Britanny rubbed her body next to mine like Lily when she wants cuddles.

"Game time people lets roll." Gina said holding the container of the purified ezzo and grabbing her satchel holding both Stripe's crown and the Gem of Returning. Using her light gate generator she opened a portal back to Atlantis. We all appeared near to the wrecked hulk of the Armegeddon construct.

The damage I had unleashed upon him as Superman still seemed to have lasted a bit even after our trip to the werewolf home. Buckled joints, impact crater shaped wounds along the body, and a rather large part of the main head of the thing having a hole only clear as the flames had died out. While this seemed to be all good news, all the damage I had beaten into him was healing as the power of the artifacts operated on the same nature as the curse that the Kyrn had to suffer at Gyphon's hand. As their cursed forms would regenerate from any damage so too does the Armeggedon build. Not wanting to consider how fast the thing healed after the artifacts fully recharged him, I tried to think about something else.

"Okay Gina, how long till this bad Halloween display gets back on his feet?" Cheetah asked as she crouched behind a damaged bit of wall.

''No idea sis." Gina replied. "The energy chamber of this thing is heavily re-enforced and likely more shielded than a nuclear reactor."

"So in other words we haven't a clue when this thing gets up and starts killing again." Jetta groaned.

"Prince Stripe!" A familiar female voice said as a fair Atlantian teleported onto the scene with a young African American and two male Atlantians.

"Princess Tyr." Stripe acknowledged the one time foe and current ally.

"We feared the worst." The young head of state said to the other. "Where have you been, and who is your new friend?"

"This is Jetta, Alpha of the werewolf clan and the one who will help me stop this monster permanently."

"You certainly make friends in many places." Tyr said in awe. "So what are you going to do?"

"They are going to that these two things into the energy core and disintegrate that monstrosity into oblivion, after I add my special part to it of course." Gina smugly answered opening the box she brought from Georgia. A radiant purple glow came from within and as soon as the crown and gem were held over the ezzo they snapped hard into place and would not be moved apart.

"Well that worked better than expected." Gina smiled as she closed the box and handed Stripe the two merged artifacts. "Now I can't drop you right into that thing's core, but I can get you into the body with a lightgate portal. Think you know how to get to the core by yourself?"

"I believe I can, and must." Stripe said as Gina again activated her device. The light gate opened and the bright radiance of the portal was a dramatic difference from the bleak and demolished region of Atlantis we stood in.

"Here you'll need this." Gina said as she handed Stripe the light gate generator. "As soon as you are done press the return button and you'll pop right back here. I have no idea how fast things will fall apart so probably a good idea for you two to stick together."

Jetta and Stripe nodded to Gina as they walked through into the light.

"So any idea what we are going to do while they are off playing hero?" Penny asked as most of us looked on uncertain of what was about to unfold.

"We need to keep that thing on the ground for as long as possible and about as stable as we can." I commented looking upon the slowly recovering mess. "So any how we are going to do that?"

"Can't you just turn back into Superman and keep punching that thing repeatedly? That seemed to work last time." Tyr asked just throwing ideas out.

"That won't work sadly." I answered. "Any force I need to use to keep that POS down will be in excess of that which would kill Stripe and force Jetta to regenerate from a puddle of blood and goo. Think of it like tapping on the glass of an aquarium." Everyone agreed about that. "What we need to do is pin him where he is and hold him there for a long as possible."

"Got anything heavy enough to just press on top of him like a gigantic bolder or something?" Penny asked Tyr.

"Not to my knowledge and sadly the only rocks which are nearby are special to Atlantians as they are corals."

"Wait, what about this rubble surrounding us?" Britanny commented as she kicked a few bits of rock around that had been somebody's home.

"These are quarried basalt from the ocean bottom." Tyr answered. "We collected it while harvesting ocean snow as fertilizer and is rather stable as a building material once treated from erosion."

I smiled knowing this, as did Gina and Brianna.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" I ask them.

"Oh indubitably buddy. So how do we get it from over here, to on top of that thing and have it hold him down?" Gina said tapping her finger to her chin.

"You want to fill me in on what's going on?" Britanny asked.

"Basalt is one of the densest stones known and forms from low silica content magmas and lavas. It is so dense that it actually sinks below continental plates at plate boundaries on Earth's crust. If all of this material is basalt then we can throw a bunch of it on top of Armegeddon and help hold him still as Stripe and Jetta get to the power core." I answer.

"Excellent. And since this part of the city has been evacuated all we'll have to do is break it apart and just bury him under it." Tyr smiled.

"Sounds simple enough, but how are we going to collect enough rubble fast enough?" Penny commented as she looked around at the busted and wrecked remnants of buildings and homes.

"If we reduce all of the surrounding structure to rubble then that should be enough raw material to work with." Gina said. "And save us the time of trying to dig it out of the…." Before she could finish that statement Brianna jumped onto one of small bit of wall, pointed her finger over the horizon and shouted.

"Go forth my beauties and dispense upon this world a great and awesome explosion." Pressing the command switch all the assorted Peebos soared off to the tone of Flight of the Valkyries.

"You know Bri I have to ask, if your Peebos are actually bombs then why do you make them sapient? Doesn't that mean they kill themselves all the time?" I ask watching where this was all going.

"Nope Alex not at all." Brianna smiled as she jumped down off the rise she was using. "See I did make the explosives intrinsic to the Peebo design originally, but as someone who also came into this world through means that were…well not exactly biological I couldn't justify killing something I created just as a one-time use smartbomb."

Brianna continued to elaborate from there. "So what I did is design the explosive to be able to decouple from the main robot body so they are now super smart bombing drones. And once they drop their ordnance they will collect the scrap and drop it on top of big, bad, ugly over there."

"Bri you are absolutely brilliant." I smile. "Alright people lets move like we have a purpose here." I shifted my form again, donning a bright blue costume with yellow boots and gloves, a red visor, and brown hair on top of my head I looked towards an area that the peebos were not headed towards and pressed the side of my head with my right index finger. Instantly a bright crimson beam shot from my eyes and started to level walls and former homes to the ground.

"Gina I need you and Penny to start working on a shape which will be the best to hold down Armegeddon where he can't easily break free from." I called back over my shoulder. "Tyr if your people have any spare cargo transports they can muster then call them here ASAP." The Atlantian ruler nodded and started sending out telepathic messages to her logistics staff.

I then turned towards my love, with my hands far from my visor of course. "Britanny I will need you ready to load those transports with as much of this rubble as you can as fast as you can."

"Will do muffin." She smiled as she cracked her knuckles by stretching her fingers.

"Brianna are those peebos able to operate completely by themselves?" I ask the youngest of the Diggers family.

"Right now?" As she was considering her answer there was an absolute massive KABOOM! In the background. "Sure. Hey guys when you blow your loads make sure to start grabbing the rocks and dropping them all over the big guy over there." She said this completely straight faced and unashamed. I just focused at the task at hand.

"Good. I will need you to help Britanny load those transports as fast as you can while the peebos are doing their bit."

Gina and Penny thankfully were able to put aside their difference long enough to work on the details of the planned shape so by the time the transports started to fly in they barely had time to touch down before Britanny and Brianna's combination of super strength and speed had filled them to capacity and they were sent to drop their cargo exactly where it was needed. I just kept blasting apart walls as one very famous mutant from the original members of the X-Men.

Things ran fast and smooth as glass as the Peebos constant collecting was so efficient that almost as soon as I blasted down a wall the hovering robots had broken it down into bits small enough to carry off and made off with the segments to the tune of "Off to work we go".

"Hey Alex." Gina said as she pulled up a sketch of the overall shape and Penny had worked on. "We should have enough raw rock, but I don't understand why you had us do this."

"Allow me to demonstrate my friend." I became my usual self again and once more took upon the form of the emerald knight Green Lantern. Before I could fly off and enact my plan a very strong hand held my shoulder and help me on the ground.

"Oh no you are not doing this alone." Britanny said as she looked me dead in the eyes. "Alex I know exactly what you are going to try and there is no way that I am going to let you do this by yourself."

When Britanny has her heart in something, and puts her heart into something, she definably gets her point across. "I heard what you said to Tyr back when we first faced Armegeddon, that the ring works by will and courage and her fear was weakening what you made with it."

I nodded, completely focused on what he tall lycanthrope said and holding onto every word she uttered. "I also saw you use that ring to reconstruct the Ginamobile after fighting my dad, so I think I understand that thing draws it power from those that use it and the stronger the focus the more powerful the things it makes."

"True." I answered as she continued her thought process.

"Well I'm not letting you do this alone." Britanny placed her hands on my shoulders and relaxed a bit. "We are partners through thick and thin and, I almost lost you once so I am not going to do so again. I love you too much okay."

I smile at her a I looked into those green within green eyes.

"I love you too Brit, and yea I don't want to lose you either." I held her close to me as I answered her. "I'm not going to say no, but the ring needs focus to work and when two Lanterns try to focus with one right they have to focus on that one thing completely or the construct weakens to a point of not holding together." I explain.

"I am willing to do it muffin. Just show me how." She stated.

"Okay. I will take you with me, but I will use the ring to make the structure Gina designed first and then we focus entirely on holding it onto him and keeping him pinned. No matter what the only thing you will focus on is keeping it together and him under it. We clear?"

"Transparent." Britanny answered.

"Good. Okay Gina what you got?" I looked at the eldest of the Diggers sisters and took the drawing in my hands.

"Okay Alex, we just have to keep him still so this puts as much weight as possible to pin his joints so that there is a very limited chance for him to bring all his strength to bear on a single weak point, however Basalt is a very crystalline in structure."

"Strong, but lots of cleavage plains where it could be broken more easily." I expanded upon.

"Bingo." Gina said smiling that I knew what she was talking about. "So keep it together and force it down on him and it should last long enough for you to give Jetta and Stripe the time they need."

"How much longer do we have before this thing gets back online?" I ask as I look over the rubble covered monster. Tremors starting through the ground indicated the answer.

"Not long I say." Gina answered with a sigh.

I didn't wait for a replay as I handed Britanny the chart, wrapped arm around her waist and launched us into the skyline.

"Okay muffin, this is what you need to build. You got this." Britanny was big enough to wrap her arm behind my back and held the guide up for me to reference as I kept us elevated.

"Got it." I worked as fast as I could molding the rock around the construct following the plan to the letter. The ring's charge was holding very well and it seemed every time I loaded Green Lantern I started with 100% so I had energy to burn.

"Babe, you ready for this?" I asked as I held Britanny as close as I could.

"Ready as you are muffin." She smiled at me and for a moment I felt peace regardless as to what we were about to do. "Do it."

I slammed down on the rock jacket around Armegeddon. The emerald light flooded around the structure and permeated throughout it filling the darkened city with green illumination. Feeling the pull of the forces of will and courage guide her, I felt Britanny's strength and drive follow my own and soon the light doubled in intensity and the construct was even more robust.

As if being invited to the party, Armegeddon began to flare to life once more.

"So little man you come to challenge me again?" He taunted me. "Nice coat you got for me, shame it will be so easily broken." If he was trying to intimidate me, he was doing a piss poor job of it at this point. Yes he was bigger, yes he was strong, but what he wasn't was stronger than me, and damn sure not stronger than me and Britanny together. This time he wasn't getting up again no matter what.

"Nothing to say? Very well then allow me to…uh eah…what the blazing inferno is this?" Armegeddon said as he pushed against the stone and will holding him fast. "I am made of the finest materials of all the Kyrn and Atlantis and powered by the ancient artifacts of that accursed cat people's race. How can mere stone hold me fast?" The struggling titan was not making this easy, but since when was something worthwhile ever easy. His limbs were bound unable to wrestle free and stand up, but he still kept trying to break free of the will and stone crushing upon him.

Britanny's focus was tighter than Brianna's sniper grouping and her will was like a freight train with continuous force and unyielding iron and steel. I didn't let my focus and will slip as I could feel her addition to my construct as the two us held fast together. With each passing second Armegeddon seemed to be getting stronger, but he wasn't gaining a single inch on either of us. The compact rock prison was not budging and neither were Britanny or I. All that was left for him to do was shot threats and profanities at us to intimidate us to break. I didn't bother to listen as I only had to keep holding him in place to win.

No watch was nearby nor was there any reason to look at the time it took to get through this mess, just keep it together and trust our friends would get the job done.

"What are you looking to accomplish by just holding me down, you know that I will eventually break through and kill all of you. Surrender and I may show you mercy." He bellowed while everyone watched him only struggle against his cage.

"Is this the best plan you have, just hold me here for eternity? Keeping me trapped till the cold death of the universe? You can't keep me down forever, I will rise and I will…uh no."

It was a brilliant flash of white light far more radiant than the color of Britanny and my combined wills and only the fact there was about 500 tons of solid rock acting as a barrier between the body of Armegeddon and ourselves that prevented everyone from becoming blind in the flash.

"Is he…." Britanny had to blink her eyes several times as we descended down onto the stone encasement. Only reason I wasn't in the same situation was thankfully Green Lantern masks are designed to deal with light variations from absolute darkness to supernova.

As we both finally looked out over the hardened crystal structure to see what was going on, sure enough the entire being of Armegeddon/Gyphon had disappeared, vanished into oblivion.

"My sources say yes." I smile at Britanny once more being my normal self. The ground was filled with the chorus of cheering and lauding below as Britanny and I saw Stripe and Jetta being lifted up on the shoulders of overjoyed Atlantians. Even high above everyone the overwhelming joy at finally being free of the tyranny of the previous monarchs of Atlantis could be felt throughout the whole of their nation.

"Well that's one adventure down." Britanny smiled as she and I held eachother close, my head pressing into her breast (she's ~7'0" to my ~5'9" after all) and her tail wrapped around my midsection. "And you know what, this feels good." I agreed with my lady friend as we sat down on the edge of what held the monster stationary.

"Almost as good as being with you." I said as I kissed her full on the lips. Her fur was as soft and smooth as silk and so what if she was bigger and stronger than I, I loved this woman and we just saved a whole race of people together because it was the right thing to do.

"Alex…" Cheetah said as we both felt hot under the collar. My response and hers from here-on-out was that we feel back on top of the basalt far above the eyes of any lookers and proceeded to engage in a well-deserved battle of tongue twisting and air sucking. Britanny's enthusiasm was matched by my own as we finally had some uninterrupted us time….though there was this strange humming noise that sounded like a series of drones overhead but at this point neither one of us cared enough to think about what that was.

Arthor's notes:

Finally, after another whole year of waiting I have been able to get this to you and hope that it was worth it to everyone. I am sorry that it took this long and I hope to finally get into adventures which don't follow the comics completely and go looking for more werecheetahs. Please be patient with me as again I work two jobs and have studies to deal with while on top of that figure what I am doing with this. Please let me know what you think and I do have a whole range of characters I am looking forward to using in the future when I have time to just do my own thing with this characters for a bit.
