Thought I had already uploaded this chapter, nearly finished with the next one. Thank you for the reviews. I don't always write in chronological order so have already written a couple of later chapters, so I know where I'm heading just trying to work out how to get there! Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy. The next one is all Street and Chris.

'Where's Street?' Hondo questioned. He was meant to be going through the CCTV from the hospital, but had been missing from his post the last two times Hondo had walked past.

'He went to get someone to collect more angles from the hospital. That was over an hour ago though,' Deacon checked his watch. Hondo sighed, Street had gone himself.

'Tell him to find me when he returns,' he was hacked off. They were all worrying, yet Street always found a way to act out.

Hondo went back to Jessica's office. He had been using it as a base to check out all of Street's sightings of Chris away from the rest of the team. It was something he should have done months ago. He felt guilty for dropping the ball and assuming that Street was grieving, but it had been him after all who had declared her dead. And all the evidence verified his story. In the past three hours he had managed to find Chris at one of the locations. He wasn't one-hundred percent sure it was her from the blurry footage, but part of him recognised his team mate in black.

The rest of the team had watched Hondo leave the OPs room, afraid that this would be the thing that tore their team apart for good. They had been hanging on by the skin of their teeth for the past few months. Each of them were trying to deal with the loss of Chris, none of them doing it well.

'I've got him,' Tan was triumphant as he held up his tablet so Luca and Deacon could see the ID of the guy. 'Alexander Benzea, Benz.'

'I've heard of this guy,' Luca stepped forwards taking the tablet from Tan. Luca was suddenly very serious, 'Yes, Benz. Are we sure this is the guy Chris has been with?' He knew it was, but part of him was trying to deny it. The things he knew about Benz were starting to come back to him. He had been a big fish ten years ago.

'It's him,' Deac confirmed. They had all been in the corridor at the hospital. Watched Chris run into this guys arms. His wasn't a face they were likely to forget. 'What do you know?' he questioned Luca. Tan was busy tapping on the tablet after getting it back from Luca.

'Nothing good. Anyone that stood in his way ten years ago ended up dead. He had no fear; we eventually rounded up a handful of his men. Brutal types, each of them willing to kill anyone with a nod from Benz. He slipped away, went under ground. Guess we know where he is now,' Luca had left out the details on purpose. His mind was racing.

'This has to be one of the longest rap sheet I've ever seen,' Tan was scrolling through the list. 'How has this guy only ever done two years inside?'

'He did whatever it took. Killing jurors and family members was only the start. He started killing love ones of prosecutors, judges, anyone he could get his hands on.' Luca filled them in. He had never worried about anyone more than he was worrying about Chris right now. 'Of course he never got his hands dirty.'

'They never do,' Deac interjected.

'We need to find them,' Luca looked to Tan for direction.

'There's no known addresses, for any of these guys. You know how much they have been moving around lately. It's crazy, they've moved more times in five months than any other criminal I've ever known,' Luca was both annoyed and impressed.

'Chris. She's been keeping them one step ahead of the game. That's why we couldn't catch the mole. We didn't know she was there,' Tan concluded correctly.

'No, Chris wouldn't do that to us. She's SWAT. We're family,' Luca defended the old Chris he knew. She wouldn't have betrayed them like this.

'Chris might not, but Jamie might,' Deacon pointed out. A stale silence fell over them. The fact that Chris may have switched sides hung heavily in the air.

The time passed slowly as the team continued their investigation. The normal chatter had died off and the only real noise was shuffling as the team moved about.

'Is he still not back?' Hondo questioned checking his watch. Street had been gone over three hours.

'I've rung him twice, but no answer,' Luca shrugged. Hondo pulled his phone and a hit call on Street's number. It rang out, eventually going to voicemail.

'I swear if he's not back here in the hour that's it. Tan go down to the hospital and collect the CCTV. I'm not having Street slow us down any longer. We have to find her, the longer it takes to find her trail,' he petered off. He didn't need to say it they all knew. He walked away, but it felt more like a storm off.

'I'll see if I can locate Street as well,' Tan looked at Luca. His friend was already in full worry mode for Chris, he didn't need Street making it worse.

'Cheers,' Luca spoke distractedly. He knew Street wouldn't do anything to slow down finding Chris. He would have put money on Street speeding all the way there and back. When he looked up Tan had already gone.

Tan pulled out of the car pool. He'd had a front row seat to Street's downwards spiral. He had watched the guilt eat away at him. If it had been down to him Street would have been out of the field a month ago. When his visions of Chris started to come to light. Although now his 'visions' had turned out to be true sightings he was a little unsure where he stood on the matter.

Whatever was going through Street's mind right now it didn't excuse the fact he was hindering their efforts to find Chris. All the stats said they needed to locate her in the next few hours or she would disappear again, possibly never to be found.

Tan pulled into the hospital car park, slipped the car into park and made his way to the security office. The office was empty when he arrived. He sighed wondering who he needed to chase down now.
