Thank you all for the reviews! I'm so blown away by the response to the story!
A number of you have mentioned by time line is a bit wrong and I won't lie, maths is not my strong suit and I have given myself a headache trying to do all the working out – so before I change it and it end up being wrong…should the last chapter say 4 years later? Lily-Rose was obviously conceived that night which was November and born in August and in the last chapter had celebrated her 3rd birthday the week before…it's too much maths for me. Someone help a girl out LOL! Although I work with children, I have none of my own so the whole thing is confusing as hell for me HAHA! TIA!

Let's get some much-needed answers, shall we?

Much Love
K xx

Pacing the length of the living room area of his suite, trying to take everything in Christian then looked to Ana who was sat on the sofa watching him. "Why the hell didn't you tell me?" He asked as he looked to her. "Don't you think I had a right to know that I am a father? You said you were on the fucking shot for crying out loud!"

Ana sighed as she looked to him. "Honestly? Because I thought you wouldn't want to know." She told him honestly. "I was just saving myself the heartache. I googled you when I got home. I didn't realise how truly successful you were….and then there were the photographs…"

"What photographs?" He interrupted looking to her.

"Three days after our…. clearly life changing encounter…I was in the grocery store, picked up a magazine and plastered all over it was you…with all these different women you seemed to be keeping company. Different one each week by the looks of it. When I found I was pregnant…I knew that it would be a waste of time contacting you when you had all these women wanting your attention. We were supposed to be a one-night thing…. we agreed that the following morning. You didn't need me bringing a kid into your perfect life. Not to mention…I didn't want the world accusing me of being a billionaire trapping whore. And as for the shot…mine ran out early. Apparently, that happens sometimes according to my doctor." She commented with a roll of her eyes.

"I still had a right to know that you were pregnant!" He shouted at her.

"And what would you have done?" She shouted back as she got to her feet and glared at him. "I live here in California…"

"You said you lived in Portland."

"I did, but an opportunity came up Florida after Christmas and I couldn't turn it down. When I found out I was pregnant I came here to California and started fresh. My family had moved here. This was what was best for me and my daughter."

"Our daughter." He corrected before he shook his head. "You should have told me. I would have been there. For you. For her!"

"As what? Some part time dad? Splitting her time between here and Seattle? We both had too much going on."

"We should have discussed what would have been best for OUR daughter together. How do you know I wouldn't have moved here? You think I wanted us to call it quits after one night?"

"Then why the hell did you? You were the one who said we should keep it as a one-night thing!" She looked at him in disbelief. He was the one who ended it the next morning, not her!

"Because it would have been too hard! You were looking for new places to set up more hotels, I was in the middle of a massive deal that could have taken months to sort out…I didn't want to put you through any heartbreak…" He sighed and shook his head. "Since that night we spent together, you have consumed me…those women in the pictures…they're nobodies. If I have a function to go to then I take someone with me. They mean nothing to me." He shook his head and looked to her. "You did mean something to me. We might have only spent that one night together…but it was the best night of my life. I wouldn't have changed it for the world. The only thing I wish I could change was that we did make a real go of it…things would have been so much different. For us. For her."

"You had your company to look after." She whispered, tears pooling in her eyes as she tried not to cry. Things certainly could have been different.

"I would have relocated. If that's what it would have took for us to be able to be together. For us to be a family." He told her.

Ana looked to him. "We know nothing about each other." She replied before flopping back on the sofa once more, her arms going around herself.

"We would have learnt along the way…" He sighed before he sat down on the sofa with her. "Who is Luke?" He asked, looking to her.

Ana scoffed. "That is a very long story."

"Well I'm all ears."

"Luke is my brother."

"I thought you only had a sister? And a step brother?"

Ana sighed a little as she looked to him. "I did, but turns out my dad got his previous girlfriend pregnant before he got with my mom and she didn't tell him. We only found out about Luke when he came looking for my dad because his mom died. He had been in the army and came home when he heard about his mom and then came looking for us. We knew straight away he was one of us. We've been inseparable ever since. He was with me when Lily-Rose was born. She's had him wrapped around his little finger ever since she took her first breath." She rolled her eyes. "He's her uncle and his bodyguard."

Christian listened to her carefully before he raised an eyebrow. "Bodyguard? Is she in danger?" He asked slightly alarmed.

Ana shook her head. "It's more of a precaution thing on my side. When I set up this hotel, the success of it in such a short amount of time got the media attention and they were everywhere. Got too close for my liking. I just wanted her to be safe and Luke was the only one a really trusted to keep her safe, especially if I'm busy."

Christian nodded a little. "And that guy downstairs? The one you slapped with the restraining order?"

Ana's body stiffened slightly. "That was Jose. He was my step-brother."

"Was?"

"My mom divorced his father after Jose attacked me."

Remembering the conversation Luke had earlier, he then looked to her. "What did he do?" He asked, his voice laced with anger.

"He tried to force himself on me." She shrugged. "Lily-Rose was about eighteen months old. Luke had taken her for a walk because she was unsettled and I had tried everything. I had opened a bottle of wine to wind down. Jose came around to check on me. He joined me for a drink and he started to get a bit handsy. He's always had a thing for me but I've always told him the feeling was not mutual. He had pinned me down on the sofa. I was screaming, Luke and Lily-Rose came in just in time to see Jose give me a black eye. Lily-Rose has never forgotten that day and she despises Jose. Luke gave him a black eye in return."

"Rightly so. I'll kill him if he ever comes near you or Lily-Rose again." He grumbled with a shake of his head before looking to her. "Why Lily-Rose? And why name the hotel after her?"

"I've always loved the name." She told him honestly. "My middle name is Rose and I love Lily's. I knew as soon as I was having a girl that was her name and I named the hotel after her because the day I found out she was a girl was the same day I had confirmation that this place was going to be mine. It seemed fitting." She explained softly to him.

"I take it she has your surname?"

Ana nodded a little. "Yes…no one knows you are her father. Not even my family."

"I wish you would have told me." He whispered hanging his head.

"I'm sorry." Ana whispered. "When you said you wanted to keep it as a one-night thing…I just thought it would be easier for you if you didn't know about her."

"I want to be part of her life…" He told her looking to her. "I don't want her to think that she doesn't have a dad. I'm not going to lie…the fact that I have a daughter absolutely scares the shit out of me, but I want to be there. I want to be there for her. And you."

Ana sighed. "Let's just take this one step at a time, okay? The only men she has had in her life is Luke and my dad…I'm not including Jose and his father because they didn't really see her." She shrugged.

"Okay…but know I am deadly serious about being in her life…"

Ana nodded before she grabbed her phone as it went off. "It's Luke." She mumbled as she answered the phone. "Hey…I'm actually next door. Okay." Hanging up the phone she looked to Christian. "Urm is it okay if they come in?"

Christian nodded. "Sure."

Getting up Ana headed over to the door, opening it she chuckled seeing her daughter with a chocolate moustache. "Let me guess, you had chocolate ice cream?"

"Hows did you know?" Lily-Rose asked in confusion.

"Because you got a chocolate moustache." She explained as she picked her up and tapped her little button nose. "Did you have fun?"

Lily-Rose nodded. "We went into the park and we played on the slide and the swing. Some boy kicked uncle Luke in the shin and uncle Luke said a naughty word!"

Luke scoffed as he looked to his niece. "Traitor!"

Lily-Rose giggled before she then looked over spotting Christian and pointed to him. "Tis you! Mommy he has special hair like me that goes reddy in the sunshine!" She happily told her with a grin. "He looked afters me when uncle Luke was going to beat Jose's big fat butt."

"Well he's very kind in doing that." She smiled before she then looked to Christian who was watching them carefully before Ana looked to Luke. "Can you give us some privacy? I'll explain when I come back to the room."

Luke looked to Christian before looking to Ana and Lily-Rose before giving a firm nod. "Call if you need anything." He told her before exiting the room, closing the door quietly behind him.

As Luke went, Ana headed over to the sofa and sat down, bringing Lily-Rose onto her lap. "Okay so mommy needs to tell you something very important."

"Otays."

"You know how some of the kids in pre-school have mommies and daddies and then some just have mommies?"

"Don't forgets Ellie. She has two mommies and Bobby has two daddies and then Kaden only has a daddy because his mommy wents to heaven to be with the angels…"

"Okay." Ana cut in with chuckle before they listened to every family set up in her class. "But you know how it's just me and you?"

"Yeah I don't haves a dad."

"Well you do…"

Lily-Rose's eyes widened. "I do? Where is he? But whats about uncle Luke? And grandpa Way?"

"Uncle Luke will always be uncle Luke. And Grandpa will always be Grandpa. That'll never change."

"But what about my dad?"

Ana looked to Christian who was slightly amused at the conversation before she looked back to Lily-Rose. "Well. Christian here is your dad." She told her softly as she ran her fingers through her hair. "His hair goes reddy like yours in the sunshine and you know what? When you're sad you have the exact same colour eyes as him."

Lily-Rose looked to Christian before looking to her mother once more. "He has pretty eyes." She whispered before giggling.

Ana smiled. "He does…but now that he has found us…he would like to spend some time with us…he's missed us a lot. How do you feel about that?"

Lily-Rose looked to Christian before she then curled into Ana slightly. "I wants my dad." She whispered to her.

Ana smiled, the tears welling up in her eyes. She instantly felt guilty for not telling Christian sooner. Swallowing the lump in her throat she kept playing with her daughters' hair. "Why don't you go and say hello to your dad?" She whispered to her as she pressed a soft kiss to her head.

Lily-Rose nodded a little before she jumped off her mother's lap and went over to Christian. Looking up to him she smiled. "You're my daddy! Mommy says that means you gots to colour with me and plays with the glitter…"

"I did not say that young lady." Ana laughed as she looked to her daughter in disbelief. She had a crazy imagination at times.

Christian couldn't help but laugh as he bent down so he was eye level with her. "Well I like colouring." He mused to her. "And you know what? I have a sister and she loves glitter."

Lily-Rose's eyes widened. "Weally? What's her name?"

Christian smiled. "Her name is Mia. And she's going to love you."

"Where is she? Can she come and play?"

"Well she doesn't live here. She lives in Seattle. But I am sure she would love to come and play with you one day. Would you like that?"

Lily-Rose nodded her head vigorously. "Yes pwease!"

"Mommy! Daddy has a sister! Just like you haves a sister like auntie Kate!"

"And he has a brother so you have another uncle."

Lily-Rose gasped. "No way!"

Christian laughed. "Way. His name is Elliot."

"Lelliot. Does he live in Seattle too?" She asked looking to him.

Christian smiled and nodded. "He does. All my family live there."

"Does you live there too?"

Christian gave a nod. "I do."

"Is it far away?"

Christian smiled. "Not that far. Not really. And want to know something cool?"

Lily-Rose nodded as she kept her eyes glued to Christian.

"I have a helicopter. So, until me and your mother sort things out I can visit you all the time."

"You means you don't live here? Like me?"

"I don't, no. But I am going to visit you so much it's going to be like I live here." He told her with a smile. "Is that okay?"

Lily-Rose thought for a moment before she gave a little nod. "Does that mean we gets to live in a house? All of us together?" She asked hopefully.

"Maybe one day." Christian told her. "Me and mommy have got a lot to sort out okay? But know that no matter what I love you and I'm always going to be here for you."

Lily-Rose moved closer to Christian and moved her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "I love you too, daddy."

Christian felt his heart swell as he heard her. Sure, he had only just come into her life, but he knew from the moment he met her she was special. He just didn't know how special she was going to be to him. Moving his arms around her he held her close to him before looking over to Ana who was crying as she watched them. Offering her a small smile he then looked down to Lily-Rose. "I have to go to a meeting for my work tonight but how about tomorrow we spend the day together?" He suggested looking to Ana. "The three of us."

"Can we mommy?" Lily-Rose asked looking to her mother. "Pwease?"

Ana smiled. "Of course, we can. I have a few things I'll need to juggle around but I'll do that later." She got to her feet. "How about we go and let Chris…. daddy get ready for his meeting and maybe he can come and say goodnight a bit later on?"

Lily-Rose looked to Christian. "Will you comes and read me a bedtime story?" She asked looking to him.

"I'll try. If I can get this meeting done and dusted then I'll come straight back up to you. Is that okay?"

Lily-Rose nodded. "Otays!" She smiled to him before running back over to her mother and tugged her hand. "Come on mommy. Let's go so sooner daddy has his meeting the sooner he comes back!"

Ana smiled down to her and looked to Christian. "'ll be back in second. Let me just take her to Luke." She smiled and took Lily-Rose's hand and headed to her room next door.

As they left, Christian pulled out his phone and dialled Taylor's number. "Taylor. I need you to rearrange my meeting with Callahan. I need him to meet as soon as possible. As soon as you've arranged that I'd like you to come in. I have some things to discuss with you." Hanging up the phone he then looked up as Ana came back in. "What time does she normally go to bed?" He asked as he headed over to the mini bar. "Drink?"

"Just a soda please and she normally goes down about seven thirty."

"I have Taylor trying to rearrange my meeting for as soon as possible. I shouldn't take me long." He explained as he passed Ana her drink.

Ana smiled hearing Taylor's name as she took the drink from him. "He still works for you?"

Christian nodded. "Guy deserves a medal." He admitted with a chuckle before he looked to Ana. "What will you tell Luke?"

"The truth." She told him with a shrug. "If you're going to be in her life then my family deserves to know who the father of my child is."

Christian nodded. "At some point…I'd like to introduce you both to my family. You can come to Seattle or I can bring them here. It's up to you."

Ana nodded. "Let's get her used to you first shall we?" She smiled. "Though she seems to already love you."

"When I first met her…I felt this connection. But I couldn't put my finger on it. Now it all makes sense." He smiled. "I'd like us to get to know each other to…maybe when she's asleep we could order take out?" He suggested before frowning. "Wait does Luke live with you?"

Ana chuckled. "He does. My suite is a lot different to yours. I had it customised to accommodate us. He'll be in his own room don't worry. Although he'll probably want to give you the big brother speech." She rolled her eyes and took a sip of her drink.

"I'm…sorta looking forward to that?" He laughed and shook his head before he moved closer to her. "Thank you."

"For what?" Ana asked with a frown.

"For letting me part of her life."

Ana sighed. "You're her dad, Christian…I made a mistake in not telling you. I see that now, but I'd never stop you. Whether we are together or not…you being her dad will never change. As long as you are there for her that's all that matters to me."

"Fresh start?" He asked with a hopeful smile. He wanted them more than anything to start over and start a fresh for their daughter.

Ana smiled and nodded. "Fresh start."
