"These are so yummy." Lily-Rose beamed as she tucked into her pancakes. "Daddy are you pancakes yummy?" She asked looking to him. She was in the middle of both her parents as they sat in a booth in the pancake house that she and Ana always came to.

"Super yummy." Christian confirmed with a grin to her. He was dressed in a simple plain white t-shirt and dark jean shorts with white trainers while Ana was in a simple summer dress with sandals and Lily-Rose was dressed in a cute little t-shirt and shorts with a little cardigan on and strappy sandals along with her favourite unicorn headband, her long hair flowing down her back while her headband kept her hair out of her face. Lily-Rose had been like a bottle of pop all morning, so excited to bring her daddy out for breakfast.

"I cants wait for us to goes to the beach! Will you build sandcastles with me daddy?"

"Of course, I will." He told her with a smile. "I love building sandcastles."

"Why does Taylor sits over there?" She then asked looking to Taylor then back to her dad.

"Because he's just making sure we are safe. He needs to see the whole diner to see who's coming in and out and they won't be a threat to us." He didn't want to lie to her. This was the reality of his life and he wasn't going to shy away from it. She needed to know.

"But he looks so lonely on his own." She whispered to him, a small pout forming on her little lips.

"He's okay, I promise." He told her with a smile before he helped her with her drink as she reached for it.

"Thank you, daddy." She smiled as she finished her sip. Digging back into her pancakes she then paused and looked to her mother. "Mommy I gots to go potty." She whispered to her, her little cheeks going a little red.

Ana smiled as she put down her knife and fork. "It's okay baby, we can go. Good girl for telling me." She praised as she slid out of the booth and held her hand out for her before she smiled to Christian. "She's still training. We'll be back in a sec." She promised before rushing Lily-Rose to the bathroom, knowing she was probably busting to go. She normally left it until last minute to tell her she needed to go.

Christian smiled to himself as he watched them go before he then looked over to Taylor who gave a nod to indicate everything was okay before taking a sip of his coffee.

"You know Lily-Rose is worried you're lonely over there." He mused with a smirk to him.

Taylor smirked. "You can reassure her that I am fine." He told him with a chuckle.

Christian smirked before looking as Lily-Rose came bouncing back, Ana following behind her. As they got into the booth, he then smiled to her. "All better?"

Lily-Rose nodded. "We's made it just in time!"

Ana chuckled. "Yes, we did. Remember you mustn't leave it until last minute just in case there isn't a bathroom around."

"Otay mommy." She told her before she happily began to dig back into her pancakes.

Ana smiled to her before she finished off her own food. Sipping her tea, she happily watched their daughter before she smiled to Christian. "Don't forget you can't tell anyone about this place."

"Tis our secwet." Lily-Rose told him before she pushed her plate away. "My tummy feels like it's gonna explode."

"You say that every time we come here." Ana laughed with a shake of her head before she smiled to the waitress. "Can we have the bill please?"

"Certainly." The waitress replied with a smile as she headed off.

As Christian got his wallet out, Ana shook her head. "No. This is on me. We treated you for breakfast."

Christian looked to her. He was old fashioned. He liked to pay. Nodding slightly, he smiled. "Next time it's on me. No arguments." He told her with a smile before he looked down to Lily-Rose who was happily gazing around the diner, watching the people. He smirked. He was a people watcher himself. As the waitress came with their bill and Ana paid, he then looked down to Lily-Rose. "Are you ready to go to the beach?"

Lily-Rose nodded and grinned up to her dad. "Yes! It's going to be so much fun!"

Ana smiled to her daughter before sliding back out of the booth, holding her hand out for Lily-Rose. "Remember no running ahead. You must hold mummy or daddies' hand okay?"

Lily-Rose nodded as she took her mother's hand. "I promise mommy."

Ana smiled down to her before she looked to Christian. "The beach is only ten minutes from here. Are you and Taylor okay to walk?" She asked remembering Taylor had a bad leg.

Christian nodded. "Yeah it's fine. It's not a long walk." He told her before he went over to Taylor and relayed the information so he wasn't left in the dark.

As they all left the diner, Lily-Rose held her other hand up for Christian. "Daddy you must hold my hands to."

Christian smiled as he took her little hand in his. She was so adorable. As they walked to the beach, Christian couldn't help but smile down to his daughter who was happily singing away as they walked. He had no idea what she was singing but it was adorable all the same. As the arrived at the beach he couldn't help but smile. It was beautiful.

"Can I take my shoes off?" Lily-Rose asked looking to her mother, bouncing on the balls of her feet.

Ana nodded. "Sure." Bending down in front of her, Ana helped Lily-Rose take her shoes off. She knew she was itching to get the sand between her toes. Holding onto her daughter's shoes she smiled as Lily-Rose looked to her hopefully. She knew what she wanted. "As soon as we find a spot. We got to find the perfect spot remember?"

Lily-Rose nodded. "Come ons! Let's find our spot!" She declared as she turned around before gasping and pointing. "Looks mommy! That looks a good spot!"

Ana chuckled. "Let's go check it out." She told her before she then looked to Christian who was looking to her curiously. "You'll see." She just laughed and followed Lily-Rose over to a spot she liked. "Good spot baby girl." Ana mused with a smile. "This does look like a good spot." Kneeling on the sand she looked to Lily-Rose. "What must you remember?"

"I must remember to stay in front of you so yous can see me."

"And?"

"And I mustn't go in the water on my own."

"And?" Ana prompted.

Lily-Rose giggled. "I's not allowed to bury people I don't knows in the sand."

Ana laughed. "Good girl. You can go play."

"Daddy you must come see! Quick take off your shoes and sockies!"

"Okay, okay." Christian laughed as he kicked off his trainers before taking off his trainer socks and tucking them into his trainers. As Lily-Rose grabbed his hand and let him down to the water he then laughed as they stood right on the shore line. "It's cold."

"But watch!" Lily-Rose beamed as she wriggled her feet in the sand before stepping back. As the tide came in and then washed her footprints away, Lily-Rose gasped as she looked to Christian. "Isn't that amazing?!"

Christian couldn't help but look at her in awe. She was so adorable. "That is amazing. Let me try." He smiled as he copied her previous movements and stepped back. As the tide came in once more, he watched as Lily-Rose watched his footprints get washed away before squealing and clapping her hands.

"That's so cool daddy!"

"It is. Shall we go and build a sandcastle?"

Lily-Rose nodded as they headed back up to where Ana was sat. "Mommy, daddy's feet disappeared from the sand to!"

Ana gasped. "They did?"

"Yes! It was so cool!" She grinned before plonking herself down. "Now we is going to build sandcastles."

"Well you are a very lucky girl because Taylor just bought this for you." She mused passing her a bucket and spade set.

Lily-Rose gasped. "He did?" She looked over to Taylor. "Thank yous Taylor!" She shouted to him before she took it from Ana and showed her dad. "Looks daddy. We are going to make the bestest sand castle evers."

Christian smiled as he sat down. "We are. How about you get started on filling up that bucket."

"Otays." Lily-Rose grinned as she got down to the task in hand.

Christian smiled before he then looked to Ana. They had shared the kiss last night and it was just as amazing as he remembered. He was dying to kiss her again but he was holding himself back in front of Lily-Rose. They were going to take things slow. "You okay?" He whispered to her noticing how quiet she was.

Ana smiled and nodded as she looked to Christian. "Yeah, just enjoying the moment." She told him with a smile as she looked to Lily-Rose who was engrossed with filling up her bucket. "She loves you so much already. It's like you've always been here." She whispered keeping her eyes locked on Lily-Rose.

Christian smiled. "I love her too." He whispered. "It's weird because now…I can't imagine her not being in my life. Not being here. She's an incredible little girl." He turned to look at Ana. "And that's thanks to you. She's funny, kind and caring, intelligent. She's learnt all that from you."

Ana smiled shyly. "I've just always wanted the best for her."

"She will always have the best." Christian told her with a smile. "How about tonight I take you out for dinner? I feel like there's a lot we still need to discuss."

Ana gave a little nod. "I'll see if Luke is okay watching her. He normally doesn't go out but you never know." She shrugged and smiled.

"Does he have a girlfriend?"

Ana shook her head. "No. He says he's happy being on his own for the moment. When his mom died, he was in a bad place for a long time so he focused a lot on himself and then of course little miss here came along so she gave him another focus. Luke quite likes to be busy, I guess he's just never found the right girl who matched him in that sense."

"I'm sure the right girl will come along for him." Christian smiled before looking back to Lily-Rose.

"What about Taylor?" Ana asked looking to him. "Is he still with…Gail is it?" She asked remembering them mentioning her the first time they met.

Christian nodded and smiled. "Yeah they're still together. I have a feeling he's going to pop the question soon."

"How long have they been together?"

"About six years now, I think. Taylor has a daughter from a previous relationship, they team up against the poor guy. Especially when it comes to make up." He chuckled before frowning a little. "Hope she never wants to wear make-up." He whispered gesturing to their daughter. "She's beautiful just the way she is."

Ana listened to Christian before she smiled a little. "Your bias, but you're not the only one. I don't wear much make up and I do try and tell her it's not about what you look like that's important but what's on the inside. She'll then proceed and cover me in glitter." She chuckled and smiled to him.

Christian nodded before chuckling. "I'm looking forward to all this glitter."

"You say that now but you'll soon be complaining when you find it in your underwear." She giggled at him and smiled before looking to Lily-Rose as she called her. "Yes baby?"

"I filled it up to the top!"

"Good job!" Ana praised with a smile. "Do you need help tipping it out?"

Lily-Rose nodded. "Yes please. I twied but it's very heavy. Daddy we might need you to use your big strong muscles."

Christian smiled as he moved over to his daughter and smiled. "Wow, look at that! You done an amazing job. Let's tip this out, will you help me though?" He asked looking to Lily-Rose.

"Otay daddy." She responded before she listened to Christian carefully as he told her where to put her hands. As they tipped the bucket, she then tapped the top of the bucket as Christian told her to before she grinned seeing the castle come out. "Wow! Look mommy it's a sand castle!" She beamed to her mother before looking up to Christian. "Thank you, daddy." She mused to him.

"You're welcome." He smiled. "How about we make some more?" He suggested before smiling as she nodded and they happily began to make more.

Ana couldn't help but smile as she watched the two. Happy to sit back and just watch them. Now and again she would take pictures on her phone without them seeing so she could pass them onto Christian. She was already in the process of making copies of all of Lily-Rose's baby pictures so Christian could have his own copies of them.

"Thank you for today." Christian whispered to Ana as they left the beach three hours later with a sleeping Lily-Rose who Christian was happily carrying, her little face hidden in his neck.

"Will you please stop thanking me?" Ana laughed as they walked back to the car. "She had an amazing day. We both did." She happily told him with a smile.

Christian smiled as they headed back to the car. As they reached the car, Christian carefully put Lily-Rose into her car seat and strapped her in before climbing in beside her while Ana got in the front with Taylor. "Hey you hungry?" Ana asked looking back to him.

Christian shrugged. "I could eat. What were you thinking?"

"Pizza? She loves pizza and she hasn't had it in a while so it'll be a nice surprise for when she wakes up. Plus, there's a dessert place right next to it that is amazing."

Christian nodded. "Sounds good to me. Just direct Taylor on where to go." He told her with a smile before he then looked down to Lily-Rose who was still out like a light. She sure had a busy day. He was glad they were able to make some lovely memories today.

Ana guided Taylor on where to go. When they pulled up, she instructed everyone to hang tight while she got out and went into the pizza place before going into the dessert place, coming back out five minutes later with a big bag of desserts. She had pretty much picked up a little something of everything so they could try it all. Getting back in the car she nodded for Taylor to continue his drive before she looked back to Christian and Lily-Rose. Looking to the time she then looked to Christian. "You better try and start waking her up." She mused with a smirk to him.

"What? Why?" He asked with a frown as he looked down to his daughter.

"Because if we let her sleep too long, she won't sleep tonight. And if that's case she can go and bunk with you because I am not having a hyper three-year-old at two in the morning." She mused with a smirk to him.

"Okay, okay." He laughed a little before he pouted a little as he looked down to Lily-Rose. She looked so peaceful. "Hey princess…" He whispered gently stroking her cheek. "It's time to wake up."

As she felt someone stroking her cheek, Lily-Rose frowned a little as her little eyes began to flutter open. "But I's tired." She mumbled her eyes falling to a close once more.

"I know, I know." He laughed stroking her cheek again. "But you need to wake up. You won't got to bed tonight if you sleep any longer."

Eyes fluttering open, Lily-Rose pouted. "Otays." She mumbled before she rubbed her eyes a little before sniffing slightly. "Does I smell pizza?"

Ana couldn't help but laugh. "I was wondering how long it would take you." She looked back to her daughter. "Your eyes were always bigger than your belly."

"They's not! My eyes are normal size! And so's my belly!" Lily-Rose huffed as she looked to her mother.

Ana poked her tongue out to her before Ana smiled as they pulled up in the hotel garage. Getting out of the car she held onto the food tightly while Christian helped Lily-Rose get out of the car before picking her up and resting her on his hip. Going into the underground garage, Ana waited for them all to get in before she punched in the code for their floor. It wasn't often she used her override code in the elevator but she wanted to get back to the room already. As they reached their floor, Ana stepped out and headed to her room and headed inside. "Luke we're home!" She called before she stopped in her tracks at the figure in the kitchen. Now this was not something she was expecting.

"Grandpa!" Lily-Rose squealed as she wriggled out Christian's arms and ran over to her grandfather.

Christian stepped in, noticing the man in the kitchen area before he then looked to Ana.

"Dad…what are you doing here?" Ana asked looking to him.

"Do I need a reason to stop by and see my kids and grandbaby?" Ray asked looking to her before he smiled and picked up Lily-Rose.

"No of course not but you haven't done so in a long while. Just surprised to see you is all." She told him with a little shrug.

"Well no need. I won't stay long, but I missed this little pumpkin." He mused poking Lily-Rose's tummy.

"You missed your granddaughter over your daughter? Talk about favouritism!" Ana scoffed.

"Grandpa! Look! It's my daddy!" Lily-Rose grinned pointing to Christian. "Daddy this is my grandpa!"

Ray looked to Lily-Rose before he then looked to Christian and then Ana. "Ana? Care to explain what she is talking about?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

Ana looked to her father before she looked to Christian once more. "She has a habit of dropping people in the shit." She mumbled before she then looked to her father. "You better take a seat and I'll put the kettle on…" She told him. This was going to be a long conversation and it was hard to decipher how her father was going to react but she was going to go with…he was going to be pissed. From the moment she found out she was pregnant she had kept the father of her child a secret from her family. Now…the truth was about to come out. Her dad was going to know all about Christian Grey.
