"Christian. Please explain to me what is going on." Grace demanded as she looked to her son who had been silent for the best part of ten minutes. At one point she thought the connection had frozen, but no, Christian was just refusing to say anything.

Christian sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair and looked to his mother. "Mom…please…can we do this another time?"

"Another time?!" She screeched looking to him. "Christian Trevelyan Grey you will give me answers right now. Is that young girl your daughter? Yes or no?"

Christian looked to her and nodded. "Yes. She's my daughter."

"And just how long were you plan on keeping her a secret? She looks like she could be at least four years old, not to mention who is her mother? And why have you kept her a secret? Are you ashamed? Did you not want her?" Grace fired at him. Of all the things she never imagined Christian hiding a child, so the fact that he had seemed to confuse her. She needed to know what was going on.

"Mom!" Christian snapped cutting in as he looked to her. "I didn't know about her until I arrived here. And she's just turned three." He told her matter of factly.

"Who is her mother? Why are you only finding out about your daughter now?"

"Her name is Anastasia Steele…"

"The hotel owner?" Grace cut in looking to him.

Christian frowned a little and gave a nod. "Yes. You know her?" He asked before he looked to Ana who shrugged a little indicating she didn't know Christian's mother. At this point he was glad that Luke and Kate had taken Lily-Rose off to play while Ana's parents headed inside to give them the privacy, though Elliot was still around and happily watching the interaction in front of him.

"I don't know her personally but I have heard of her. I frequently stay at her hotels. I love the one in San Francisco! It's beautiful! Your father and I always stay there when we are up that way." She gushed with a dreamy smile before frowning. "Why didn't she tell you? Are you sure she's yours?"

"Yes, she is my daughter. There is no doubt about that." He told her before sighing. "Because the paparazzi were taking pictures of me with a different woman every week. You know what they were like. Playing me out to be some ultimate playboy…Ana thought it would be best if I didn't know. She didn't want that kind of life around the baby. And before you say anything else, we have had the whole discussion about her not telling me, we don't need it from you too. Or dad. We've discussed it and it's old news."

"Oh sweetheart, you know what your father is like but I'm sure once the shock of it all wears off, he will be fine." She mused with a smile to him. "So, when can I meet them? Do they live in L.A? What's going to happen now? Are you going to move there? Are they going to move here?"

"Mom!" Christian laughed and shook his head. "I will consult with Ana and get back to you on when you can meet them and yes, they live here in L.A. They actually live in the hotel I'm staying at, that's how we ended up bumping into one another. As for your other questions…well Ana and I need to talk about that together. We want what is best for Lily-Rose."

"Lily-Rose? Oh, what a beautiful name." Grace cooed. "Where is she now? She was so cute when she answered the phone."

Christian smiled as he looked over to his daughter playing before turning his attention back to his mother. "She's off playing with her aunt and uncle at the moment. Look mom I didn't want you to find out like this…"

"Well I won't lie Christian I am shocked…I mean to be honest I was half expecting your brother to be coming home with a child not you."

"Yeah well he got married to Ana's sister instead." He blurted out with the roll of his eyes.

"What?!" Grace screeched.

Elliot spat out his drink and glared at his brother. "Dude!" He shouted. He couldn't believe he just sold him out like that!

Christian looked to his brother apologetically before he looked to his mother. "Mom…"

"Put him on the phone." She told Christian.

"Mom…"

"Put. Him. On. The. Phone." She repeated deadly serious.

Nodding a little, Christian then passed his phone to his brother. "Sorry dude." He mumbled before he sat back down next to Ana. "Well not how I imagined it to go…"

"At least she knows now…" Ana told him with a slight shrug before looking to Elliot who seemed he wanted to be anywhere but there right now.

"Mom…" Elliot began looking to his mother.

"Do not mom me Elliot Grey." She told him firmly. "Is Christian telling the truth? Did you get married?"

"Yes, but…"

"No buts!" Grace snapped. "How could you be so silly?" She asked with the shake of her head. "Why would you go and get married? You were going on vacation? What part of vacation includes getting married? You weren't even dating anyone!"

"Mom it's a long story…"

"Well I suggest you start talking because you are not hanging up this phone until I get some answers. I mean it was a shock enough to find out that I have a granddaughter but now I have a daughter in law? Explain yourself quickly young man."

Christian had to bite his lip. He really did feel for Elliot. He was always getting into some sort of trouble, but he had to admit, even this was a step up for Elliot! As Lily-Rose came running over, he smiled and caught her in time as she jumped on him and smiled. "You have fun with uncle Luke and auntie Katie?"

Lily-Rose nodded and grinned. "I did. Me and auntie Katie played hides and seeks with uncle Lukey and we wons! Uncle Lukey was very bad at hiding." She giggled as she snuggled into him and looking over to Elliot. "Is uncle Lelliot talking to yours mommy?" She asked looking up to him.

"He is." He smiled. "She would very much like to meet you."

"She would?" Lily-Rose's face lit up before she wriggled out of father's embrace and ran over to Elliot and snatched the phone from Elliot. "Hi Gwandma! Daddy says you wants to meet me! And here's I am!" She chimed with a grin as she twirled around with the phone.

Christian couldn't help but laugh at Lily-Rose. Though he thinks Elliot was secretly worshipping the ground Lily-Rose is walking on now that his mother's attention is away from him. As Lily-Rose came back over to him, he bought her up onto his lap ad smiled seeing his mother's smiling face in the camera as Lily-Rose happily chatted away to her grandmother.

"Oh, you are so precious!" Grace cooed.

"Mommy! Gwandma says I'm precious!" Lily-Rose giggled before she looked back to her grandmother. "Gwandma does you like glitter?"

Ana couldn't help but roll her eyes. This girl was obsessed with glitter.

"I do sweetheart. Do you like it?"

"I loves it." She told her with a grin. "Wills you plays glitter with me?"

"Oh of course I will sweetheart."

Lily-Rose grinned before she then looked to Ana, her eyes instantly filling with tears. "Mommy…"

Seeing Lily-Rose's tear-filled eyes, Ana frowned slightly. "Baby what's wrong?" She asked as she took Lily-Rose as her arms went out for her. As Lily-Rose whispered in her ear, Ana then smiled as she kissed her head and stood and looked to Christian. "I'll be back." She promised before she headed into the house.

"Is everything okay?" Grace asked with a frown.

Christian watched Ana go into the house before he looked to his mother. "I'm sure everything is fine." He reassured his mother. "Look mom, can I call you later on? I feel rude being on my phone out here…"

"Oh of course sweetheart…and tell your brother I'll be speaking to him later. I haven't forgotten the conversation we were in the middle of." She told him with a raised eyebrow.

Christian nodded a little before he hung up the phone before he slid the phone into his pocket before he looked to his brother. "Lily-Rose might have saved you this time but she won't be able to save you later on."

Elliot looked to his brother. "I can't believe you sold me out like that."

"It wasn't on purpose. It just sort of…come out. I'm sorry." He sighed. "What did she say?"

"That she's disappointed. She wanted to be there when all her children got married. You know how she gets. Sentimental and all that shit." He shook his head and sighed. "I don't regret marrying Kate…but I wish it didn't bring so much heartache to mom. She looked like she was going to cry."

"She probably will." Christian told him honestly knowing what their mother was like. Although he was dreading was his father was going to say to both of them. Both of his sons were coming home with big revelations to say the least!

"Dude way to make me feel even worse." He grumbled before sighing. "Dad is going to kill me." He ran his hand over his face.

"You are only realising that now?" Christian asked with a chuckle before he shook his head and got to his feet. "I'm going to check on Lily-Rose." He told his brother before heading into the house. Spotting Ray and Carla, he smiled. "Hey, where did they go?"

Carla smiled as she looked to Christian. "Upstairs. Is everything okay with your mom?"

Christian nodded. "She's been shocked enough to last a lifetime but she's quite excited to meet everyone. Especially our bouncing three-year-old."

"She has that effect alright." Ray chuckled before they all looked to the stairs as they heard Lily-Rose crying.

Christian frowned as he heard his daughter crying, something he had never heard in the few days he had known her. Heading towards the stairs he then headed towards where he could hear Ana talking to Lily-Rose.

"It's alright." Ana whispered as she cradled her daughter close. "You don't need to be sad. You were such a big girl."

"I don't like it mommy." Lily-Rose sobbed into her mother's neck as she clung onto her tightly.

"I know but it's okay. You are okay and it's all done now." She promised as she gently rocked her and pressed a soft kiss to her head and rubbed gently circles in her little back.

Heading to the bedroom, Christian gave the door a little knock as he stood in the doorway. "Hey…is everything okay in here?"

Ana gave him a soft smile and a nod.

Moving to sit next to them on the bed, Christian gently rubbed Lily-Rose's back before taking her as she moved her arms out for him.

"I don't like it daddy." Lily-Rose sobbed hiding her face into his neck and clinging onto him as if her life depended on it.

"Don't like what princess?" He asked. He was so confused right now. Everything was fine one minute and now she was so upset.

"I don't like going poo poo on the potty." She cried, clinging onto him tightly.

Christian looked to Ana completely confused. She was crying because she had to shit on the potty?

"She normally wears a diaper if she has to go but I forgot to bring some with me and my parents have run out so she's had to go on the potty. She just doesn't like it at the moment. It's all part of the learning process but it's really new to her so she's a bit freaked at the moment." Ana explained gently rubbing her daughter's back. "It's completely normal." She reassured him with a soft smile knowing that he was currently probably thinking the worst right now.

"Awe princess it's okay." Christian whispered as he kissed her head and held her close. "You don't need to be scared or upset okay? You're turning into such a good girl and I'm so proud of you." He soothed as he kept gently rocking her. As her sobs began to stop, he smiled. "Let me see that beautiful face."

Lily-Rose tilted her head slightly so she could see her father but didn't let up on her hold that she had on him.

"There she is." Christian smiled as he gently wiped away her tears from her little cheeks. "I think you deserve a cookie for being such a big girl. Shall we go and see if Grandma Carla has one for you?" He asked. It broke his heart seeing her so sad. It was like he was looking at a different child. Ever since he met her, she's been full of life and happy! To see her so sad now it broke him. Even when Jose turned up at the hotel she wasn't as sad as she was right now. This was a whole new level.

"Otay." She whispered clinging onto him tightly.

Christian smiled and kissed the top of her head. Looking to Ana he smiled and kissed her cheek before he got up from the bed and headed back downstairs. Going into the kitchen he smiled to Carla. "Carla, Lily-Rose has been such a big girl, do you have any cookies that she can have because she deserves a little treat?"

Carla smiled as she saw Christian coming in with Lily-Rose. He had taken to fatherhood like a duck to water from what she saw. "Oh, I think I might have something." She mused before she went over to the cupboard and got her cookie jar down. Popping it onto the counter she took the lid off and smiled. "Which one princess?" She asked looking to her daughter.

Moving next to Carla, Christian moved Lily-Rose onto the counter so she could have a good look at the cookies. "Wow they look yummy." He mused with a smile. He just wanted to see her little smile again.

Ana couldn't help but smile as she watched them. They were so adorable together. Knowing that Christian had a handle of things she headed back out to the garden to see what her siblings and new brother in law were up to.

As Christian put her on the counter, Lily-Rose clung onto Christian with her one hand while she peaked into the jar, her eyes roaming over the cookies. "That one pwease." She mumbled as she pointed to the cookie she wanted.

Carla smiled as she pulled out the cookie and put it on a small plate before handing it to Lily-Rose. "There we go princess. Enjoy."

"Thank you." She mumbled as she took the plate from her grandmother.

Christian smiled as he scooped his daughter back up. "Shall we go and sit outside and sit with mommy?"

Lily-Rose nodded as she took a bite out of her cookie.

Christian kissed her head and headed out in the garden. Sitting down next to Ana, he moved Lily-Rose comfortably on his lap before he looked down to her as she happily munched away on her cookie.

"Do you feel better now?" Ana asked looking to her daughter as she played with her hair.

Lily-Rose nodded. "Cookies makes everything better." She told her with a smile.

"That they do." Ana replied with a smile. "What shall we do when we go home?"

"Cans me, you and daddy have a sleepover?" She asked looking to her. "And watchie films in your bed with a big bowl of popcorn?" She asked hopefully.

Ana smiled. "Now that sounds fun. What do you think daddy? Fancy having a sleepover tonight with us girls?" She asked looking to Christian.

Christian couldn't help but smile and nodded. "I like the sound of that indeed." He smiled. "What film are we going to watch?" He asked curiously to his daughter.

Lily-Rose thought for a moment before grinning. "Aladdin!"

"One of my favourites." Ana beamed with a grin before she smiled to Christian. She loved watching him with their daughter.

Finishing off her cookie, Lily-Rose then snuggled into her father.

A smile resting on his lips, Christian happily held his daughter close to him while his one hand moved to Ana's as they interlocked their fingers.

Ana smiled to Christian as she gave his hand a gentle squeeze. She felt them getting closer by the day.

"Aunt Carla? Uncle Ray?" Came a voice from inside the house.

"Oh fuck." Ana whispered, her eyes instantly going wide as she looked over to Kate who couldn't help but role her eyes.

Lily-Rose gasped. "Gigi." She squealed before getting down off her father and running into the house.

"What's wrong?" Christian asked with a slight frown. "Who's Gigi?"

Ana sighed as she looked to him. "She's my cousin. Kate, Luke and I can't stand her. She's not happy unless she is the centre of attention. For some odd reason, Lily-Rose is obsessed with her so we keep quiet to keep the peace." She grumbled before sighing. "Just…brace yourself. She'll be all over you like a fucking rash." She warned him before she looked up as Gigi came out with Lily-Rose on her hip.

"Gigi look! That's my daddy!" Lily-Rose proudly pointed out, grinning over to Christian. "And that's my new uncle Lelliot!" She mused pointing to Elliot.

"Well, well, well. This is a small world. Christian and Elliot Grey. It's been a while."

Hearing that voice, Elliot choked on his drink as he looked to the woman horrified. He was not expecting to see her!

"You know her?" Ana asked with a frown as she looked to Christian.

Christian looked at Gigi shocked before looking to Ana and giving a small nod to her. "Well yeah…we know her as Gia…she helped design my apartment and my work building. She's worked a number of projects for me actually and my family." He looked over to Elliot before looking back to Ana. "Romeo over there, however, well…they got very intimate and have been for a very long time."

Ana's mouth dropped before she then looked to Elliot who had gone extremely pale.

"Gia…" He breathed looking to her.

"Elliot. So good to see you. No wonder you haven't called me back. Too busy marrying my cousin I see."

Christian looked to Elliot while Kate was practically glaring at Gia already having put two and two together. It would only be him who would get into this kind of situation. Gia Mateo. Elliot's fuck buddy for the last three years. Things were about to get very interesting.
