"Don't cry princess." Christian whispered down to his daughter as he held her close. He was leaving for the airport and Lily-Rose had been absolutely fine…until he came to say goodbye. From the moment he entered the suite she had burst into tears and had begged him not to go and clung onto him as if her little life depended on it.

"But I don't wants you to go." She sobbed clinging onto him tightly as she hid her little face in his neck. "I wants you to stay here with me and mummy and uncle Lukey forevers."

"I know. I don't want to go either but I promise you when you wake up tomorrow, I will be here."

"Whens I wake up?" She asked looking to him. Her beautiful eyes now the same shade grey as his. She needed confirmation that he was coming back.

Christian nodded kissing her head. "When you wake up." He confirmed with a smile. "Daddy has to go and sort some things out for work and then I will come right back. Hey, how about I bring my mommy back with me?"

Lily-Rose's face lit up as she lifted her head up from his shoulder. "Gwandma Gwace? Ands gwandpa? Ands Auntie Mia?"

Christian couldn't help but laugh as he kissed her head. "I'll see if they can make it but I'll bring grandma Grace for sure. She's very excited to meet you."

"I's excited to." She told him with a smile.

"Now. Let me wipe those tears from that beautiful face." He smiled and wiped her face with his thumb. "And I should be in my house before you go to bed so I can facetime you and talk to you before you go to bed. How does that sound?"

"Otay." She mumbled as she gave him a hug. "I loves you daddy."

Ana's heart had broken as Lily-Rose had gotten upset. She was one never to cry, not really. In such a short amount of time, Christian had such an impact on her little life.

"I love you too princess." He whispered as he kissed her head and hugged her tightly as he gently rocked her. As he felt her go limp in his arms, he looked down to her and saw she had fallen asleep. Gently laying her down in the bed he kissed her head one more before tucking her in. "Daddy will see you tomorrow." He promised before he got up and quietly headed out of her bedroom, leaving the door ajar slightly before he looked to a teary-eyed Ana. "You're going to cry on me to now?" He asked trying to lighten the mood before he pulled her to him and hugged her tightly and kissed her head. "I'll be back before you know it." He whispered to her.

"I know." Ana sighed as she moved her own arms around him. "I just didn't think it would be this hard…and seeing how upset Lily-Rose got…I can't help but feel guilty. I should have told you about her."

"Ana please don't do this to yourself." Christian whispered as he pulled back slightly to look at her but kept his arms tightly around her. "It's water under the bridge. I am here now and that's all that matters." He whispered to her. "I'm loving spending every minute with the both of you."

Ana gave a little nod before she sighed and hid her face in his neck. "I'm going to have a very grumpy three-year-old until you return." She grumbled.

Christian couldn't help but smile. "I'll facetime as soon as I land. This deal I'm closing it's literally finishing up lose ends. If I can get back sooner I will but I do need to go to my parents."

Ana nodded understanding before she looked up to him. "If you want if you're brining your mom…you could stay in here with us and she could have the suite you've been staying in?" She suggested up to him. "It'll be cleaned and everything when you leave anyway but I can book it out now ready…"

Christian smiled and nodded. "I'd like that…" He smiled down to her before he then sighed as his phone went off. Pulling it out and seeing it was a message from Taylor he put it away before looking down to her once more. "I have to go…" He whispered with a sigh.

Ana nodded and sighed. "Sooner you go sooner you'll be back." She whispered to him with a soft smile.

Christian nodded before he gently cupped Ana's face and pressed his lips to hers.

Kissing him back, Ana held onto his wrists tightly, not wanting him to go. She never thought she would feel like this having Christian back in her life but she just couldn't help. The way he was in general and then how he was with their daughter. He was incredible.

Breaking the kiss, Christian pressed his forehead to hers. "I love you."

"I love you too." She whispered back with a smile before she pecked him one more time. "Now go…the sooner you go the sooner you'll be back."

Christian gave a nod. "I didn't think it would be this hard to leave." He admitted with a little chuckle.

"I know." She whispered to him before she took his head and pulled him to the door. "But the longer you stay the harder it will get…"

"You're right." Kissing her one more time he smiled. "I'll call you when I land." He promised before he then headed out of the suite and to a waiting Taylor.

Ana's heart ached as she watched Christian go. She knew he would be back but it didn't make the whole process any easier. She was dreading Lil-Rose waking up already know that she would be missing her daddy. Going to her daughter's bedroom she looked over to her sleeping form before she smiled a little and headed over, needing to be close to her she then climbed into the bed with her and wrapped her arms around her daughter and held her close, pressing a soft kiss to her head. It was going to be a very long twenty-four hours.

"Sir I have spoken to Stephan and he said he is on standby with the jet when are ready to depart." Taylor informed Christian as they headed up to Escala.

Christian gave a nod. "Thank you for sorting it for me Taylor."

"No problem, sir." He nodded before he then pulled out his phone before he then looked to his boss. "I should warn you sir…your parents are here." He told him with a slight sigh knowing that Christian just wanted to get in and call Ana and Lily-Rose.

Christian groaned. "Great." He sighed before firing off a quick text to Ana to say his parents were here and he would call when they left. It was getting on in the afternoon and he knew he wanted to be done with his parents by the time it was time for Lily-Rose to go down for the night. Ana had already text him to tell him that she was not a happy girl at the moment and had spent the afternoon moping about on the sofa, clinging onto her unicorn teddy as if her life depended on it whilst sniffling slightly now and again. His heart broke. He hated knowing how upset she was and he wasn't there to make her feel better.
As the elevator pinged open Christian took a breath before he then exited the elevator and headed inside, bracing himself for his mother and father and their million questions.

"Christian!" Grace beamed as she saw her son enter the apartment.

Nodding to Taylor to dismiss him for the rest of the night, Christian then offered his mother a weekly smile. "Hello mother."

"When we heard you were coming back, we just couldn't wait to see you."

Christian looked to his father who didn't seem as an enthusiastic as his mother. "Say it." He encouraged knowing that his dad was currently in lawyer mode.

"Are you sure she's your daughter?" Carrick asked with a sigh. He hated asking but he needed to know.

"Oh Carrick!" Grace scolded as she looked to her husband. "How many times have I told you? She's a mini Christian!"

"We need to make sure!" Carrick defended looking to his wife.

"Dad. She's my daughter. There is no doubt about it. Ana doesn't want or need money from me if that what you are thinking. Ana is successful in her own right. She doesn't need anything from me than to be a good father to Lily-Rose." He simply told him as he shrugged out of his jacket and tossed it onto the back of the sofa before looking to his dad. "I really don't want to argue about this dad…I'm going to be in their lives…Ana and I… we want to make a go of it…I'll be looking to move to L.A…"

Grace gasped. "You're leaving Seattle?" She asked, her voice wavering slightly. She liked having her children close to him.

"Possibly. I mean Lily-Rose is in pre-school…Ana and I have yet to go into detail about it but I've made it no secret to her that I'd move for her. We just want what is best for Lily-Rose…" He looked to his mother and smiled a little. "L.A isn't far." He told her. "And I'm hoping that you'll come back with me tomorrow…I kind of promised Lily-Rose that I would come back with you."

Grace couldn't help but smile. "Of course, I will. I can't wait to meet her."

Christian looked to his father. "I would like you to join us as well…but if you're going to be in lawyer mode…then I can't have you there…I don't want or need that negativity around Ana and Lily-Rose."

Carrick smiled to him. "I'll be on my best behaviour." He promised. "Despite my lawyer mode as you call it…when your mother told me…well I got excited." He admitted blushing slightly.

"Bet you didn't get excited when you found out Elliot was married."

"WHAT?!" He looked to his son in disbelief before looking to a sheepish Grace.

Christian looked apologetically to his mother…he thought she would have told him!

"Carry…honey…" Grace began as she looked to her husband. This was going to be a long conversation to say the least!

Putting her down, Ana then looked down to Lily-Rose who was on the brink of falling asleep. Getting up she scooped up her tired daughter, kissing her head she headed to her bedroom. "When you wake up in the morning daddy will be back." She promised her.

"I miss daddy." She whispered tiredly.

"I know baby but he will be here tomorrow and he is bringing his mommy and daddy."

"Weally?"

"Really. They are very excited to meet you."

"Me's too." She mused with a tired smile.

"Now let's get you in your pjs and into bed."

"Otay mommy." Lily-Rose responded.

Ana smiled knowing Lily-Rose was too tired to argue. Moving her daughter onto her bed she then grabbed her pjs and pull up before she then she quickly changed her before settling her into her bed. Making sure she had her unicorn teddy she kissed her head and tucked her in. "I love you princess." She whispered to her before she quietly left the room, leaving her room door slightly ajar.

"Hey…" Came looks voice as he appeared out of his room. "How's the stroppy teenager?" He mused with a smirk.

Ana groaned. "Don't."

Luke chuckled. "You've got all this to come when she's older."

"True but then it'll be about boys and grounding her ass…not because her dad has gone away for the night."

"Must be nice…knowing how close they are now…"

Ana smiled. "It is." She looked to her brother. "When are you going to bless me with a niece or nephew?" She asked looking to him. "Because I know you've been meeting up with a lady." She mused smirking to him.

"We are not discussing this." Luke shut down as he headed to his room.

"Oh, come on! You haven't said one word about her…at least tell me her name."

Luke sighed. "Her name is Katy and that is all you are getting." He told her. "I'll see you in the morning."

"Night." Ana sung as she headed into her own room a smirk on her lips. She was so glad that Luke had met someone. He deserved to be happy. Closing her door, she then headed to her bathroom and quickly stripped off before climbing into the shower. She couldn't wait to get into bed. Washing herself down quickly she then exited the shower, wrapping the towel around her as she switched the shower off and headed into her bedroom. Drying herself off she slipped on a pair of shorts and a vest before putting her phone on charge, double checking that her alarm was on before she climbed into bed, getting comfy she wrapped the covers around herself before she then let her eyes fall to a close, sleep taking over.

A beeping sound erupting into the suite, a frown formed on her features. Eyes slowly opening, Ana looked up seeing Luke holding a crying Lily-Rose in his arms as he tried to wake her up.

"Ana! Wake up! Come on!" Luke shouted as he pulled Ana's duvet off and pulled her arm to get her to move. "We have to get the fuck out of here!"

"What's going on?" Ana asked, her hand moving to her head. She had the worst headache and felt groggy as hell.

"The hotel is on fucking fire!" Normally he wouldn't dream of swearing in front of Lily-Rose but with the current fire alarm ringing around in the suite and the smell of smoke hitting his nostrils he knew he had to get them out of there and quick.

Ana's eyes widened as she looked to her brother before looking to her daughter and then her brother once more. "Get her out of here. Back stairwell. It'll take you down to the side of the building next to the car park." She told him as she got to her feet and grabbed her phone and put it in the pocket of her shorts before moving to the side of the bed.

"I'm not going without you! Now move!" He ordered her. Was she serious right now? They needed to get out of here.

"I'm coming, I just need to get something!" She snapped as she moved to go under her bed. "Just get her out of here! Get her safe! Please!" She pleaded with him as she dug under her bed for what she was searching for.

"Move it Ana!" He told her before he cradled Lily-Rose close to him as he quickly left the suite and headed towards the back stairwell. As much as he didn't want to leave Ana behind but he knew she would want Lily-Rose safe and out of harms way. He was skipping some of the steps just to get down quicker but he could see the smoke getting thicker.

"Uncle Lukey." Lily-Rose cried clinging onto him, her unicorn tucked safely under her arm.

"We are nearly there princess." He whispered. "Just hold on tight." He told her as he jumped the last couple of steps. Kicking the door open, he rushed out into the open air. He could see the crowds of people gathering around as well as the guests being escorted out safely. Looking behind him, he anxiously waited for Ana to emerge. She was taking too long for his liking. As he looked up to the hotel, he could see the fire was escalating quickly. This couldn't be happening right now. He didn't even understand how the fire even started! Ana had the best fire safety precautions that existed in her hotels.

"Luke!"

Turning hearing a familiar voice, Luke looked over seeing Kate and Elliot at the barrier. Both looking on in dismay. Rushing over to them he passed Lily-Rose to her aunt. "Look after her." He ordered her as he looked back to the hotel briefly then back to Kate and Elliot.

"What is happening? Where is Ana?" Kate asked as she cradled her niece close to her. She and Elliot were walking back from a night out when they spotted the fire. Kate instantly knew it was Ana's hotel.

"I'm going back for her." Luke simply told her. "She wouldn't leave without something. She was supposed to be right behind me."

"You left without her?!" Kate asked looking to him in disbelief.

"She needed me to get Lily-Rose out." He told her before looking to her. "Don't even think about pushing the blame onto me. This is not the time or the place." He snapped before he looked to Elliot. "I suggest you call Christian. He needs to be here for his daughter and for Ana." He told him before he rushed back into the hotel from where he entered and went on search for his sister. Going up two flights he then spotted her laying on the floor in the stairwell, clutching a book to her. "You and your fucking books." He whispered as he scooped up his sister and quickly moved back down the stairs and out into the open air. "Help! I need some help over here!" He shouted trying to grab a paramedic's attention. As they rushed over with a gurney, he laid her down, taking the book from her as they started working on her. "She was on the stairwell unconscious." He hated seeing his sister like this.

"Do you know her sir?" The paramedic asked as she put an oxygen mask over Ana's mouth and nose as they pushed oxygen in.

"She's my sister." Luke responded as he kept his eyes locked onto his sister.

"We'll need to take her to hospital." The paramedic told him as they wheeled her over to the ambulance.

"Mommy!" Screamed Lily-Rose as she spotted her mother.

"It's okay princess, I got you." Kate whispered as she rocked her niece and held her close. They needed to get Lily-Rose out of here. Elliot had stepped away to call Christian but the longer they stood there the horror in front of them escalated. Their home going up in flames.

"They're taking her to the hospital. I found her on the stairwell unconscious. I'll go in the ambulance with her. Will you follow? You better call dad and your mom." Luke told them as he came over, the book still clutched in his hand. It clearly meant something special to Ana for her to go back for this.

Kate nodded to her brother. "I'll try and get her settled." She whispered as she rubbed Lily-Rose's back.

"Hey princess…" Luke whispered as looked to Lily-Rose. "You stay with auntie Katie."

"I wants my mommy." She sobbed looking to him.

"Mommy needs to go and see the doctors okay? You're going to go with auntie Katie and Uncle Elliot and I will go with mommy okay and meet you at the hospital?"

"Otay." She sniffled looking to the ambulance before hiding her face in her auntie's neck.

Luke looked to his niece, his heart breaking before he looked to ambulance as they called him. Looking to Kate he sighed. "I'll see you at the hospital." He told her before running over and getting in with his sister.

Kate watched them go before she then looked up as Elliot came back over.

"Christian and my parents are on their way. They'll come in Christian's helicopter." He told her moving his arm around her and Lily-Rose.

"They've taken Ana to hospital. Luke found her unconscious on the stairwell." She whispered trying not to cry as she kept trying to calm her niece down by rubbing her back.

"Then let's go." Elliot told her as he headed back to their car.

"I need to ring my parents." She whispered before frowning as she spotted a familiar person watching the horror in front of them as if they were enjoying it. Getting pleasure out of what was happening.

"Ring them in the car when she's settled." He told her, not noticing she was looking at someone. Unlocking the car, he opened up the back seat for Kate to climb in the back with Lily-Rose. When they were settled, he then looked to Kate. "You okay? You look like you seen a ghost…"

"I just saw someone I didn't think I'd see anymore." She shrugged a little before she then pulled out her phone to call her dad. He would be better in a crisis than their mother. Kissing her niece's head as he sobs began to subside, she looked blankly ahead of her as Elliot began to drive to the hospital. "Dad…" She sobbed as he answered. "It's Ana…"
