!ATTENTION!

This is information for both new and old readers, somethings have changed and will continue to change in the story however these few things haven't changed at all.

While my main OC will seem like a MARY SUE in some aspects she is not so please don't worry, there will be several OC's in this fanfic however I will only tell you about the main one.

Her name is Fae Estella (Clearwater) Swan. Her parents are Elizabeth Clearwater (Harry Clearwater's younger sister) and Hank Swan (Charlie's older twin brother). The original readers might remember that I also put in the whole beginning of the story here, however I have decided that instead it should be actually included in the story itself this time.

Any language that isn't English is written with help from the internet translator so if any of it is incorrect I apologize in advance. Without further ado here is the first chapter.

CHAPTER ONE

"Bella, mail's here!" Renee called out as she sifted through the bills that had been left in her mailbox, pulling out the familiar black envelope that had Bella's name on it.

"Thanks mom." Fifteen year old Bella said as she ran out of her room to grab the black envelope before disappearing back into her room to read the letter in peace.

Dear Izzy,

Hi squirt! I actually got a place on the team this year and we are off to New York in a couple of hours, and if we make it through several more rounds we will be heading to Egypt! I can't wait! I'll make sure to send you a ton of pictures and I'll make sure to get you something from every place we stop.

Do you remember that painting of mine that you liked? The one I called 'Black Sky' and you urged me to show it to an art museum? Well I finally did and you'll never guess what happened….it was bought for a couple of thousand dollars! Also I was asked to show them any other works that I complete! I was stunned, it's all thanks to you cuz!

And since you're the reason for me putting it out there in the first place, half of everything I make from art is now going into an account for you that I'll transfer to your name when you turn 18. Don't try to argue with me, it won't work seeing as how it has to be in letter form and I'm only temporarily staying at this hotel and will be long gone before any letter you may send reaches me. (Yes I'm sticking my tongue out and looking very triumphant right now, you should see the look my room-mate is giving me lol)

How's Renee doing? Is she still freaked out by my writing to you? I would love to visit you when the competition is over but if Renee is still really freaked at my 'influence' over you and my 'irresponsibility' (although she is the one who knowingly left you in the care of a sixteen year old who had issues and is lucky that getting our stomach's pierced is all that we did), I'll hold off until you turn seventeen as instructed by Renee.

I have a very long list of things I want to do with you over your summer break so BE PREPARED lol. Two more years should be plenty of time for Renee to prepare herself for my arrival, at least I hope so. Anyway I need to go pack (I know I know I should have done it yesterday but you know I like to procrastinate on some things) I'll send you another letter as soon as I can.

Je t'aime petit cousin,

Fae

P.S. I hope you're keeping up with your French, Spanish and Japanese language courses. It will be very helpful for you over our summer fun month =)

Bella smiled wider as she read the Post Script, she had actually completed all three language courses three days ago.

"How is Fae?" Renee, Bella's mom asked as she peered in the doorway of Bella's bedroom.

"She made it into the competition and they are headed to New York for the first round." Bella replied, folding the letter back up and slipping it into the envelope as she turned to face her mom.

"Mmm, how's Elizabeth doing?" Renee asked.

"She didn't say anything about her mother." Bella replied wondering why her mom had even bothered to ask her, ever since the day that Fae had appeared after having been kidnapped while saving Bella Fae and her mother had not been close. Elizabeth even went so far as to send Fae to a military boarding school not three months after Fae had returned from two years of being kidnapped.

"I thought they would have patched things up by now." Renee muttered more to herself then to Bella but Bella heard her anyway and grew angry on behalf of her cousin.

"Fae was kidnapped and held for two years and not two months after she got home Aunt Elizabeth sent her to a Military boarding school and never bothered to visit her or bring her home for the holidays all because Fae didn't want to talk about what had happened to her over those two years. Why should Fae bother trying to get along with a mother like that?" Bella said angrily standing up and unconsciously crumpling the letter she was holding in her fist.

"Isabella Renee Swan don't you talk to me like that! I know that you are close to your cousin but that doesn't mean everything she does is the correct behavior or the righ course of action." Renee said putting her hands on her hips angrily.

"I know that, and she knows that but we have no idea what she went through and the way Aunt Elizabeth handled things was definitely NOT the right way!" Bella said, defending her cousin.

"I know. I know." Renee said calming down a bit now that she knew Bella wasn't just blindly following things her cousin said.

There was a brief moment of silence before Renee clapped her hands together remembering the real reason why she had come back to Bella's room in the first place.

"On a lighter note do you remember Phil?" Renee asked.

"Phil Dwyer? The baseball guy you've been dating?" Bella asked, curious.

"Yes. He's asked me out on a date for tomorrow night but he wants you to come along as well so the two of you can get acquainted." Renee said with a happy smile on her face.

"Oh." Was all Bella could say she still felt uncomfortable with the age difference between her mother and Phil but if he made her mother happy…

"I can't wait." Bella managed to get out causing her mother's smile to widen even farther as she ran forward and squeezed Bella in a tight hug before turning around and dancing out of Bella's bedroom.

Sighing Bella laid the crumpled letter on her desk and smoothed it out as she thought about how her cousin had looked when she showed up on Bella's doorstep four years ago covered in blood, scars, bruises and dirt and wearing only a mans hooded sweater that had stopped mid-thigh.

Shaking her head to get rid of those memories Bella muttered a quick prayer for her cousin before turning her attention to her homework.
