One morning Olivia arrived at Alex's place after work at Alex's request. Olivia walked into Alex's room to see her sleeping. She looked so peaceful. She couldn't think to wake Alex. Olivia crawled into the bed. She brushed Alex's hair back with her fingers. Her head fell to the pillow.
Alex woke up to Olivia's arm wrapped around her. Their fingers intertwined together. She felt Olivia pressed against her. Alex felt whole, waking up in Olivia's arms. She could stay in the moment forever. She looked at her alarm clock to see she had to leave in thirty minutes. She rolled around to see Olivia sleeping. She played with Olivia's hair. She wanted Olivia to come over to spend time with her. She liked spending their hour together talking in between her training and Olivia's work. She didn't want to wake her after her long night at work. She was disappointed that Olivia didn't wake her up when she arrived.
Olivia woke up after noon. She was getting used to waking up in Alex's king size soft bed. She used the bathroom. She traveled to the sink to brush her teeth. She saw a piece of paper hanging on the mirror. She pulled the paper off the mirror to see Alex's adorable handwriting.
Liv,
When you get in, always wake me up so I can kiss you good morning before I go to the rink. I want to see your brown eyes for encouragement.
Al
Olivia rolled her eyes at how corny Alex was being, but also gave Olivia a warm feeling that developed a smirk.
Alex walked off the elevator. She was in her light blue tank top and black pants to go with it. "Olivia?" She called out.
"In here." She responded from the kitchen.
Alex walked into the kitchen to see Olivia standing at the counter. Alex couldn't help but to see Olivia's back side facing her. She was wearing her track shorts and a white tank top. Alex observed each curved on the brunette. "Hey, how was your sleep?" She asked as she walked closer to Olivia.
"It was fantastic, I love your bed, it's so cozy. How's your skating?"
"It was good," Alex bit her lip, as she held Olivia's hips, "What are you doing?" She pulled Olivia back into her as she rested her chin on Olivia's shoulder.
Liv smiled as Alex's hand wrapped around her stomach, "I figured you might be hungry after your workout so I'm making you a salad."
"I am starving…" Alex kissed Olivia's neck. "But… I want to take you out, and show you off to the world." She whispered in Olivia's ear.
Olivia turned around to look at Alex. "We don't have to. You had a long day at the rink. And it's quiet here and we can have quality alone time here." Olivia's lips inched closer to Alex's lips. She wanted to keep their dating life as quiet as possible.
Alex rested her forehead on Olivia's, "So if you want to spend quality alone time? And we stay here alone and eat here." She looked into Olivia's brown eyes, "A salad is not the only thing, I will be eating this afternoon." Alex kissed Olivia's nose as she took a step back. "Your choice." Alex wanted to go out on a real date with Olivia after their two weeks of snuggling sleepovers.
Olivia looked at the blonde who sat on the kitchen island. She was really trying hard to fight the urge to have sex with Alex. Her desire to make sure she didn't screw things with Alex over sex. "Okay." She cleared her throat, stepping closer to Alex.
"Okay, I can take you out. OR. Okay, I can eat you out." Alex smirked at the brunette. She pulled at the tan arm.
Olivia was jolted in between Alex's legs. "Where were you planning on going?" Olivia placed her hands on each side of Alex's hips.
Alex's hands slowly traced Olivia's hands, "We could go out to Coney Island, or go to central park." She placed her hands on Olivia's neck, slowly pulling Olivia's chin forward.
"But where are you planning to eat, I'm pretty sure hotdogs and sausages aren't vegetarian friendly."
"I know, but it's still your choice."
"Anywhere with you, I'm cool with that." Olivia smiled at Alex, their lips were pulling together.
"You're cool with that?" She whispered into Olivia's lips as she closed the gap. Olivia slid her hands up to Alex's buttox to pull her closer. Alex wrapped her arms around Olivia's neck as she hopped off the counter. She tugged at Olivia so guide Olivia to her bedroom.
Alex sat Olivia down on the bed for Alex to sit in her lap. Olivia could get lost in Alex's kisses and feel safer. Alex pinned Olivia down on her back. Alex's hands traveled down to cup Olivia's braless chest. She circled her thumbs against Liv's nipples. "Alex," Olivia grunted out. She's having a hard time resisting Alex. "Alex, please."
Alex rolled to the side of Olivia. "Okay." Alex propped herself on her elbow. Her fingers made small circles on Olivia's lower exposed stomach.
Olivia looked at the thirsty Alex. The feeling of Alex's fingers was giving chills through her body. Olivia locked her fingers with Alex's to get them to stop. "I'm sorry. It's just…" She looked at her favorite blue eyes.
"Wha… What is it?" Alex was curious about Olivia pulling away. "You know it's not a big deal. We're hardly virgins." She laughed trying to take the guilty pressure off.
"But it is a big deal. You're a big deal." Olivia confessed. "You've been with your four people." Olivia smiled, "And I've treated sex like it's doesn't matter after my first break up." Olivia twitched her nose.
"What happened?"
"We… uh talked for two months. We were inseparable, we finally had sex and a week later we stopped talking, something about I was too clingy and she needed space." Olivia rolled her eyes.
"Olivia, I'm not going to leave you." Alex was concerned to hear another heartache in Olivia's past. She covered her legs on top of Olivia's waist.
"Are you sure?" Olivia questioned as she broke their eye contact. Alex scoffed at Olivia's comment. "What? We've known each other about four months, and we were at each other's throats for the first one. How do we know we want this or a moment of passion?" Olivia asked a serious question of self doubt.
"I need you in my life, you have recharged my life." Alex confessed thinking about her life with Olivia.
"Okay," Olivia turned back to Alex. "But I want it to mean something between us. I don't want to rush us. I want it to be as important to you as I want it to be for me. Is it wrong to want to wait?"
Alex smiled at the brown eyes with her reasoning, "No."
"Thank you." Olivia loved being able to trust someone like she has with Alex. It's different but a good feeling. "I… " Olivia started as she got lost in her eyes once again. "Have to get changed." She finished the sentence. "You too if you want to go out."
Alex smiled as she freed Olivia from her grasp. She watched Olivia leave the bed to go into her backpack to grab a new shirt. She picked up the jeans on the floor. Olivia entered the bathroom to close the door ajar "Do you want to bring some things over?" Alex went into her closet to grab an outfit.
"I have a toothbrush here." Olivia smirked looking at the sink to see her toothbrush next to Alex's.
Alex grabbed a sundress out of her closet. "I know, but I don't want you to live out of your backpack when I have plenty of space in these four walls." She quickly changed out of her workout clothes. She put on her strapless bra and underwear to make it. She put the black dress on with the small sunflowers all over it. The bottom of her dress fell to her knee.
"What will Amanda say? I haven't seen her because you've kidnapped me." Olivia smiled as she stepped out of the bathroom. She zipped up her pants.
Alex moved closer to the dressed Olivia, "I did not kidnap you." She held the open belt, "Adult napped, that might be true." She fastened the belt. "But it's not my fault you have easily fallen for my trap."
Olivia adjusted the strap on Alex's dress, "So it's my fault?"
"No, it's mine, I'm irresistible."
The two finally made their way out into the world. They walked around central park to take in the fresh air and the view of the lake. They managed to get stuffed pizza. They didn't really talk much. They didn't need to; they were happy arms locked walking around. They found themselves in a shopping plaza for an outfit for Alex for, Skate America wine-and-dine party.
Olivia and Alex walked into a cafe to get a caffeine fix. Alex locked her arms with Olivia and held her hand. They walked to a table, Alex sat down. "What would you like?" Olivia stood next to Alex.
"Tea is fine."
"Okay." Olivia started to walk away as Alex refused to let go of Olivia's hand.
Olivia looked at the eyebrow raise from Alex and a lip bite. Her nose flared as she looked around the shop. She finally bent down to give a kiss to Alex, "That wasn't so bad was it?"
Olivia refused to answer Alex's question, "One tea for you coming right up." She twirled Alex's ponytail.
Olivia ordered and picked up their beverages. She sat down across the table from her beautiful blonde girlfriend? Her blonde date for sure. "Thank you." Alex placed her hand on the table.
Olivia looked down at her hand waiting there. She knew what the hand wanted, she slowly placed her hand into Alex's hand. "So you like your dress?" Olivia asked as her thumb rubbed the side of Alex's hand.
"Yeah, I think so. I will always bring a back up dress." Olivia started to laugh at Alex's response. "What?" Alex was concerned she said something wrong.
"Don't tell me you are that type of girl that brings four bags for a four day trip." Olivia could just see Alex as that high maintenance.
"Maybe not on vacation but I need these things. I need my skates, my three costumes, and everything to make me look good on the ice. Then there are three days of cocktail hours where the skaters and their coaches talk to other skaters, coaches and the judges." Alex rolled her eyes.
"Oh the networking."
"Yeah, and then there are the bathing suits and I have to wear a different one each day because I can't have the others think I only have one."
"Oh no we wouldn't want your competition to think you have a favorite suit." Olivia chuckled at how Alex is about one weekend.
"You make it sound like I'm superficial."
"You are." Olivia squeezed Alex's hand. "And you are high maintenance."
"Is this supposed to be flattering?" Alex looked at Olivia with her doe eyes.
Olivia shrugged her shoulders, "No, it's the truth. But you have a beautiful heart and you are adorable trying to defend yourself."
"You think adorable?" Alex smiled ear to ear.
Olivia felt her and Alex were in their own little world. She scooched her chair closer to Alex, "I think you are adorable, beautiful." She played with Alex's hair.
"And?" Alex leaned in closer.
"Completely sexy, and I will help you stay high maintenance if you want." she whispered as their lips pulled together once again. Alex closed the gap. "Your kisses could kill me." Olivia whispered.
"Then stop talking and let me slay you." Alex pulled Olivia in for another kiss.
"I knew that was Olivia Benson." A woman with a southern accent stood in front of the table.
Olivia looked up to the voice, and spaced out the seating. She unlocked their hands, "Dana how are you? Lauren." Alex watched Olivia tense up.
"Good, you're a little early in the day for you don't you think?" Dana raised her brow.
"Early for what?" Alex asked the two that were making Olivia uncomfortable.
"She's naive and cute. Where do you find them?" Lauren Cooper smirked at Alex.
Olivia cleared her throat, "Lauren and Dana, this is." Olivia didn't know how to introduce Alex without making the situation better or worse for Alex. "My girlfriend Alex." Alex's heart raced as she heard the title Olivia gave her.
"Girlfriend?" Lauren laughed out loud.
"Can we help you with something?" Alex shot a look at the tall long haired brunette.
"No not at. You might want to make sure you have a box of tissues ready." Dana looked at the blonde, "Olivia Benson doesn't do relationships. She says she's interested just to get into your pants and then never returns your calls."
Alex scooched closer to Olivia. She thought that jealous women are worse than the mind games the figure skaters play on each other. "Did she do that to you?" She began to play with Olivia's hair. "Must suck that you let someone with the reputation like you say she has. Play your emotions in the first place." Olivia watched Alex react so quickly on her toes. "Sounds to me if you truly didn't want to have a one stand, you wouldn't have slept with a woman you've known for less than a week." Alex looked at Olivia who was looking at her so caringly. She pulled Olivia in as her tongue dove into Liv's mouth. She sucked the bottom of Olivia's lip. "Any other questions? Or suggestions ladies?" She looked back at the two who tried to taunt them.
The barista called out Lauren and Dana's name to retrieve their coffees. "You surprise me everyday." Olivia pulled Alex back in for a kiss. She didn't know why she needed to be protective over Alex.
"Let's get you a new suit for Vegas?"
Alex and Olivia continued the afternoon shopping. They arrived back at Alex's apartment. They placed the bags in the living room.
"Are you okay about what they said to you?" Olivia was concerned she sat down on her couch.
Alex wasn't too concerned about Olivia's toys, "No, did you fuck both of them? Or just Dana, I mean they both seemed a little bitter." She straddled Olivia.
"Do you want to know?" Olivia placed her hands on Alex's upper butt.
"Seeing both of their faces. I'm going to say both. BUT." Alex kissed Olivia's nose. "It's in the past, and." Alex paused as she removed her hands from her butt. She watched her fingers lock with Olivia's
"And?" Olivia was curious to hear Alex's thoughts.
"You said out loud, for the first time." Alex kissed Olivia's hand, "I'm your girlfriend."
Olivia gave a half hearted smile, "I did say that."
"Do you mean it?" She placed her nose on her hand.
Olivia smiled and didn't know how easy it felt to give Alex the title, "I do." Alex pulled Olivia in for a loving kiss.
"Oh look, Casey you're right they are here." Amanda shouted out as she walked into the living room.
Alex broke the kiss. She turned around as she spread Olivia's legs to sit in between them. She was happy to see her roommate but wanted Olivia's arms around her. "Hey guys."
"See I told you she wasn't dead." Casey handed Amanda a beer.
"What are you two doing?" Alex's hands rubbed against Olivia's knees to thighs back and forth.
"We're going to go chill in the hot tub." Casey informed the women. "Want to join?"
Alex smiled, "Funny you say that. Olivia got a new bathing suit."
"So let's go."
Olivia admired Alex standing up. They had an amazing day today. She's ready for the rest of her life to repeat just like this day.
