Olivia woke up earlier than Alex for a change. Alex looked so peaceful as the sunbeam down to reflect her golden hair. She appreciates that they have been able to stay so sync together and always holding hands as they wake up. Alex was so beautiful Olivia had a hard time not wanting to touch. The back of her finger traced her nose to play with the hair.
Alex smiled as she was slowly waking up to the feeling of Olivia touching her. She was refusing to open her eyes to let go of the dream she was in. "I love that smile." Olivia whispered.
"I don't know what you are talking about." Alex adjusted herself to rest her head on Olivia's chest.
Olivia continued to run her fingers in Alex's hair. "I guess you're dreaming."
"Maybe. But I like this dream." Alex loved hearing the sound of Olivia's heartbeat.
"We don't have to move as long as you like." Olivia kissed the top of Alex's head.
"Promise?" Alex finally opened her eyes to look at Olivia.
Olivia nodded her head. "Good morning." She smiled at the blue eyes.
"Morning." Alex stretched her arms out to give Olivia a good morning kiss.
Alex enjoyed the pleasant wake up. She wanted to stay in bed as long as she could. As long as she was on the bed with Olivia their world could stay their own. She wouldn't have to worry about the rest of the world or competition. Alex's phone started ringing. Olivia tried to back off from the kiss. Alex didn't want to answer the phone.
"Al,"
"Just ignore her. She'll be fine." Alex said in between kisses. Olivia reached for the phone to hand to Alex. The blonde huffed out as she broke the kiss. She took the phone and sat up. "Yeah?!" Alex answered. Olivia sat up next to Alex. Liv massaged Alex's back as she talked to Liz. "Yeah, okay. See you in twenty minutes." Alex hung up the phone. She let the phone fall on to the bed. She rested her forehead on Olivia's lips.
"I guess our morning is over?"
"They moved ladies practice today in an hour." Alex informed, "I promised you breakfast."
"That's okay I'll go get a cup of coffee, and watch crappy daytime cable." Olivia kissed her forehead. "How's the foot?"
"It's fine." Alex stepped onto the floor. She quickly walked into the bathroom to ease through the aggravated ankle. She grabbed her pain relief cocktail that was prescribed to her by the doctor. "You're going to be okay for a couple hours."
Olivia slowly got out of bed. "Yes it's fine."
Alex was standing in her workout clothes. Her hair was in a bun. She saw Olivia standing in the middle of the room with her hair matted. She loved seeing Olivia so relaxed. "Okay, I would call Rafael and Serena but they are probably helping the others get ready. Do you want to watch them?" Alex was gathering her things. Her mind was running fast. She's never entertained someone on a competition weekend.
"Alex, I can handle myself." Olivia stepped closer to her girlfriend.
"I know… of course you can. I want you to have a good time." Alex was trying to make up for the words she exchanged last night. She put her black sports jacket on. There was a big C with a capital A hooked underneath all in rhinestones.
"You have an official jacket?" Olivia laughed at the jacket.
"Of course, I also have a Branch Rink jacket with me for tomorrow." Alex stepped into Olivia holding her shorts. "Want to take this one off of me?"
Olivia held Alex's neck, "Donnelly would kill me."
"She would." Alex gave Olivia an evil grin, "But I wouldn't." Alex pecked Olivia's lips. Alex's phone went off once again. She grunted as she grabbed the phone off the bed. "What?" She answered the phone.
"Don't what, me like that." Liz opened the door. "Good Morning Olivia."
Olivia was happy she was fully clothed, "Morning Liz," She waved her hand as she sat down on the bed, not knowing Liz had a key to their room.
"Sit down, let me wrap your foot." Liz commanded. Alex sat down on one of the chairs as she tossed Liz a new ace bandage. Liz put on biofreeze on Alex's foot as she sat down on the table to wrap her foot up. She helped stretch it out. "Feel good?"
"Yeah."
"Okay listen to me. Do Not… I repeat… Do Not get into a pissing match with Russo. I need you to jump your jumps and nothing more." Elizabeth Donnelly expressed her frustration to Alex, who wants to keep her foot under wraps. "Do you understand?"
"Yes, but I need her to know…"
"That you can land a clean program. Yes, that's what you need her to know." Liz stood up grabbing Alex's bag. "Let's go."
Alex looked at Olivia and took a deep breath. They all walked towards the door. "Oh Olivia." Alex stopped walking out of the room. She grabbed Olivia's hand. She pulled Olivia in for a goodbye kiss. "I'll see you later. Get your bikini ready." She squeezed Olivia's hand.
"Okay lovebirds, you need to go and she needs to brush her hair." Liz stood there snapping her fingers to rush her skater.
Alex hopped on the ice with the ten top ranked female skaters for the season. Alex put ear plugs in to stay focused in her zone. She wasn't going to mess up anything. She fought the urge to out jump Jessica every time she jumped in front of her path.
"What's wrong Cabot?" She stopped in front of her. "You don't have it in you?"
"Of course I do. I'm just saving it for tomorrow."
"Really because that sounds like someone who is ready to." Jessica made a choking sound.
"I don't care what you think." Alex skated off as she took the span of the rink to gain speed. She jumped into her triple axel, turned into a quad toe, triple lutz to repeat a triple lutz and a double loop. Back to back landing on her right foot over and over again. "I don't need to prove anything to you."
"Cabot!" Liz screamed across the arena.
Alex clenched a fist to focus on a pain that wasn't her ankle. "Got it!"
The ladies walked into the locker room. Alex slowly took her off her skate to feel her ankle on the ground before she put her sneaker on.
"Hey," Jessica walked to her locker. "You looked good out there."
Alex put her shoes on. "Shut up."
"I mean it." She watched Alex close her bag, and start walking out of the room. "Hey Olivia. She's really just a friend?"
Alex sighed out to turn around to look at her least favorite person in the world, "Yes,"
"So? She's available?" She raised her brow to look at Alex to read her reactions.
"I don't know, maybe you should ask her."
"She's cute, maybe I should." She changed her shoes.
"Jessica, you live all the way across the country, why do you care?" Alex was doing her best to hear Jessica talk about her girlfriend in an interesting manner.
"Oh Alex, I wouldn't want her for a relationship, but an one-nighter are always fun. Especially on program night, keeps the pressure off your mind." Russo rolled out with her bag. "Bye Cabot, see you tomorrow."
Alex arrived back to the room to hear Olivia in the shower. She sat on the bed with her foot on top of a pillow. She had an ice packet wrapped around her ankle. She was playing her short program music on repeat.
Olivia walked out of the bathroom in the hotel robe and a towel drying her hair. "Hey, how did practice go?" She asked, going into her drawer to get her bathing suit.
"It was good." Alex turned off the music, and played on her phone.
"That's good. Do you want to go watch Abbie and Sonny? Barba and Serena could use company." Olivia pulled her red suit out of the drawer. Alex wasn't really paying attention to Olivia. "I met Serena this morning while Rafa and I went for breakfast." Olivia tried to move the conversation along. She put her bottoms on while still wearing the robe.
"Yeah, She's great for Abbie." Alex half responded.
Olivia sat on the end of the bed. Alex's eyes caught the robe falling to the bed. She stared at the smooth tan back. She bit her bottom lip as her mouth began to water as she watched the muscles shift as Olivia was covering up her chest. Olivia tied the top of the bikini to sit on her neck and clasped the bottom on her back.
Alex dropped her phone on the bed. She wanted Olivia. She didn't want to think that Jessica Russo might want to be with her girlfriend. She wanted Olivia only to herself. She brought Olivia for the weekend to be her safe space, not a person to worry about. She crawled down the bed. She sat behind Olivia to massage her neck. Olivia sank into Alex's hands "So tense." Alex smiled. "You're so hot." She whispered. Alex's hands open palm pushed up and down Olivia's back. Alex kissed Olivia's cheek and down to her neck. Olivia panted out a cry as Alex sent chills down her body. "Russo thinks you're cute." Alex confessed the locker room talk that bothered her.
Olivia raised her brow, "Russo?"
Alex kissed Olivia's neck, "She said she wants to." She sucked on Olivia's earlobe. "You take the pressure off."
"Good thing." Olivia rolled her eyes as she dug her fingers into Alex's knees. "I don't want her."
Alex untied the bikini top, "Prove it." She commanded.
Olivia broke Alex's trance. One of Alex's hands slid down Olivia's back to have her fingers crawl to Olivia's bikini bottoms. "Okay stop it." Olivia didn't want to be used as a pawn in Alex's ego game with skaters. Olivia quickly stood up from the warm embrace Alex was creating, "What are you doing?"
"Clearly not you. What is your problem?" Alex looked at the brunette.
Olivia fixed her bathing suit, "I told you. I want to wait for it to be special. I don't want to be some ego fuck." Olivia stated.
"That's never stopped you before." Alex snapped at Olivia who had turned her down yet again.
Olivia was shocked that Alex brought her past up in conversation. She wasn't liking seeing competitive Alex and didn't know how to act around her. "Thanks," Olivia put pants and a tee on.
Alex was stunned by what she said, "Where are you going?" She said calmly watching Olivia getting dressed.
"Don't worry Alex, nowhere near Jessica Russo." Olivia sassed out.
"I… I… didn't mean it."
Olivia looked at Alex, "Yes you did. God forbid I try to treat you like you actually mean something."
"You do and I appreciate that." Alex stood up to try and hold Olivia's hand.
Olivia didn't want to be touched by the blonde who won't stop picking fights with her. "What's up with this girl? Why does she bother you this much?" Olivia snapped.
"What do you mean?"
"You know you are a better skater than her. You know she shouldn't bother you. And how many ladies skaters are there on the ice every competition? And you are always around this skater that fucks with your head every single event. Why bother?" Olivia asked valid questions as she put her shoes on.
Alex knows even when she tries to avoid Jessica, Jessica still gravitates to her. They are constantly near each other in events and tours. "I… I… don't know."
Olivia looked at the blonde that didn't know the answers to her questions, "Maybe you need to figure that out. But don't use me as a trophy that Jessica can't have. I thought we knew each other better than that." Olivia snapped and placed her keycard in her wallet and her lanyard for the events.
Alex knew Olivia was right, but she didn't want to be at a loss of words in an argument. She was stressed and hurting, and she just insulted the one person she needed to be there for her. She wasn't going to lose the argument, "You know I thought you were a caring girlfriend. A caring girlfriend would have sex with her girlfriend when she needs to ease her mind, but instead you're probably thinking about fucking Kathy because she certainly means more to you than me." Alex wanted Olivia to hurt worse than her in guilt. Even though Olivia didn't remember telling Alex about Kathy in her drunken night.
Olivia scoffed out a stressful smile hearing Alex being hurtful for no reason. She cupped her face and she deeply exhaled, "I'm gonna go. And you can figure yourself out." Olivia couldn't be around Alex any longer. "Maybe your vagina will bleed." Olivia could only assume Alex is acting terribly due to PMS.
Alex watched Olivia walk to the door, "When will you be back." Alex didn't want to see Olivia leave. She would rather be fighting with Olivia than be without her.
"Whenever." Olivia slammed the door shut as she walked out of the room.
I hope you like it let me know your thoughts
