The ladies short programs were first in the day schedule. Liz had to remind Alex about staying focused. She wouldn't allow Alex to watch the other skaters so she wouldn't get cocky or nervous. Abbie and Alex decided to take a walk to calm each other's nerves.
Olivia and Rafael were in line for concessions. Olivia needed food and some sort of crappy coffee. Alex requested water from Olivia.
"You look different today." Barba looked at his friend. He noticed a radiant glow on Olivia.
"I do?" Olivia shrugged not knowing what her friend was talking about.
"Did you two finally?"
Olivia smiled about their amazing morning. She wouldn't have changed anything about it, "No, not yet. We just had a really amazing morning." Olivia sounded really cheesy but it was true.
"That's good to hear. After your fight yesterday." He stated.
"Well we made up." They stepped up to the counter. They ordered their items.
They sat down at a bench waiting for the two to arrive. "Yeah the coffee here sucks. One thing I always have to remember to have before I leave the hotel." A brunette sat down next to Olivia.
"Were we in the middle of a conversation I don't remember leaving?" Olivia asked, looking at the woman that her girl hates so much.
"No, I was wondering if you were going to the signing event tonight?"
Olivia looked at Rafael. They smirked at each other. "No… What event?" Olivia felt the need to pull Jessica's chain as Jessica placed her hand on her knee.
"Cabot didn't invite you. I assumed since she's…" She looked at Olivia's neck, "Your friend, she would have invited you."
"She might have, I'm not sure. Are you going?" Olivia asked, pushing Jessica's hand off her knee.
"She is." Alex said, hovering over the two.
Olivia smiled looking at the blonde in her tights, sneakers, you could see a part of her costume that was covered up by her jacket, "Are we going?"
"I have to." Alex took her and Abbie's water, "But if you and Rafael wanna go, that's up to you. Some people would prefer to gamble. And there aren't that many impressive skaters there." Alex shot a look at Jessica.
"Olivia, if you change your mind." Jessica smiled at Olivia, "Let's have a drink."
Olivia smirked at Jessica, she looked into Russo's eyes. "If I go. I will be honored."
Jessica melted with Olivia's look. She looked up at Alex, "See you on the ice." She walked past Alex.
Alex watched Jessica walk away from the group. She turned to Olivia. She stuck her hand out for Olivia. "Let's go for a walk."
Olivia took the blonde's hand, "Lead the way."
They walked around the event and they walked outside. "So you are going to buy Jessica a drink?" She asked Olivia as she backed her into a wall.
"If she gets close to me tonight. I will buy her a drink." Olivia honestly explained. Olivia didn't want to mess Alex's perfect hair, "But you get a drink, a buffet, the whole package. You get to fall asleep with me." Olivia played with Alex's jacket. "And I get to wake up in your arms."
"You mean it." Alex brushed Olivia's lips.
"Every day I wake up with you, I have to remind myself I'm not dreaming." Alex began a passionate kiss. She needed this kiss to calm her competition nerves.
"Does that feel like a dream?" Alex smiled.
Olivia nodded to Alex, "You are my dream." Olivia held Alex's hand, "A dream that needs to get ready and I need you to skate perfectly."
"That's because I will." She smiled and nipped at Olivia's lips.
"You need to warm up." Olivia commanded her elite girlfriend.
"Yeah." They walked back inside to the crowded stadium.
Alex met up with Liz in the gym area. She put her skates on. She was jumping around to get her legs warm. She was doing her stretches before she was called for ice warm ups. Liz and Alex walked towards the ice. Liz reminded Alex to stay focused not to show off. She is here to skate clean and not to mess up her ankle.
The last of the skaters were introduced to the ice for the warm up. They lined up to be introduced by the announcer. Everyone bowed to their name. Alex was able to spot Olivia in the front row seats she made sure they got. The announcer told the skaters they had their five minute warm up. She knew this day she wasn't going to do a jumping competition with Jessica. She was able to not acknowledge Jessica.
Alex was the last skater of the event as usual. She unzipped her jacket to reveal her black rhinestone costume with her tassel skirt. She added a hair piece in her bun. She skated to the middle of the rink. Her eyes found Olivia. She needed to see that face looking at her. They scrunch their noses at each other.
Natalie Cole- Orange Colored Sky was the song of Alex's choice. She felt this song was perfect for her and her relationship with Olivia. The beginning of the song she rocked her hip then her shoulder with the beat. She skipped out her opening stance with a leg pop. She felt good with each movement that hit the sound of the beats. Her jumps would land on the emphasis of the trumpets. Her spins and footwork were up to her standards. She could feel the crowd enjoying her performance. Her last jumping combination she added a rotation into both jumps making her jump a triple toe and a quad lutz. She smiled as she landed both of them perfectly. She ended her program with a spinning combination to pop her hands up together in the air.
Olivia loved seeing Alex bow to the crowd. She could see Alex was complete on the ice, the crowd cheering her on. She watched stuffed animals and wrapped flowers hit the ice. Alex waved as she skated off the ice, as she grabbed two teddy bears. As she sat with Donnelly at the kiss and cry to get the scores. Her skate landed her in first place that she wanted to be. She wasn't going to have Jessica take her spot.
Olivia watched the ice dancing with Barba and Serena while waiting for pairs. She was waiting anxiously for Alex to arrive. "Hey," She smiled at Olivia as she sat down next to the brunette.
Olivia was relieved to see her blonde beauty sitting next to her. "Hey," Olivia really just wanted to kiss her hello and a good job. "What took so long?"
Alex smiled, handing her a white teddy bear with skates on it. "Oh Donnelly was upset that I changed the last jump."
Olivia had no idea what she wanted to place her hands on Alex who was sitting there so happy. She couldn't touch her. She held the bear, "Well was it worth it?"
"Being fifteen points ahead going into tomorrow says it's worth it."
"I mean the other thing." Olivia was more concerned about her ankle, than Alex being number one.
"Yeah. It's great." She smiled at Liv taking the popcorn that was in Barba's hand. "I promise."
Olivia and Alex had a hard time focusing on anything around them except themselves. It was driving Olivia crazy that she couldn't do anything affectionate to Alex while they were surrounded by the skating world. She didn't really care about what was going on with the sport while the blonde was sitting there looking complete and all left to get ready for that evening after Abbie and Sonny were done. Which took forever in Olivia's opinion.
The two walked into their room. Alex placed her bag next to the closet. She gently took off her sneakers. Olivia kicked off her shoes and hopped on the bed. She rested her back on the headboard. She turned on the tv to act as if nothing else was on her mind. She held the teddy still. Alex sat down at the foot of the bed taking off her jacket.
"What are you going to do with all of those, and you're going to get more tomorrow?" Olivia laughed.
Alex looked at Olivia sitting so casually, after feeling the tension at the arena. "Well I will bring them home to go through them." She bit her lip as she crawled across the bed. "And I will keep like five." She sat on Olivia's leg placing her knee in between Olivia's legs. "And give the rest to the children's hospital and shelter. She took the white bear out of Olivia's hands.
"Not this one I like her." She placed her hands on Alex's firm cheeks.
The blue eyes lovingly smiled at the brown eyes, "Then she's yours." She leaned forward to Olivia as she placed the bear on a pillow.
Olivia's mouth watered as Alex was so close to her. Olivia's hands tugged at the bottom of Alex's shirt. "You look so gorgeous out there." She whispered.
Alex smirked as she adjusted herself infront of Olivia. "Yeah? Was it a boring skate?" She inched her body closer to Olivia. Her hands formed around Olivia's neck.
"Not this time." Olivia smiled. "You're so beautiful Alexandra Cabot."
Alex quickly silenced the conversation by starting a kiss. They have been both needing this since Alex got off the ice. Olivia's hands slid up Alex's shirt. Alex broke the kiss for a brief moment to pull off her shirt. She threw the shirt across the room. She exposed her naked top.
Olivia was in love and hungry. She smiled at the view. Her finger softly ran up and down her body, causing goosebumps on Alex's chest. Alex watched Olivia's eyes and opened her mouth. "You too." Alex demanded.
Olivia looked at the blue eyes. "If you want it, who's stopping you?"
Alex's stomach fluttered hearing Olivia giving her access. Alex slowly took off Olivia's shirt waiting to hear stop from her at any point and time. She smiled at Olivia knowing that this was right finally. She dove her tongue for another kiss as she unclasped Olivia's bra needing to get it off of Olivia. Alex began to grind her crotch against Olivia's leg, and pressed her knee against Olivia.
Alex's phone began ringing. Olivia slid her hand down Alex's thigh to grab her phone. Alex took the phone to silence it. No one was going to interrupt this moment she has been craving since the first smile Olivia gave her during her birthday. Alex kissed down Olivia's neck to make her way to a goal she's had all day. She cupped Olivia's full breast. Her tongue circled Olivia's nipple,to suck on the sweet tan breast.
Alex's phone went off once more. Alex didn't want to acknowledge people were wanting to talk to her. Olivia picked up her phone, "Babe." Olivia didn't want Alex to stop the foreplay. "It's your dad."
Alex grunted as she sat up. She took the phone out of her girlfriend's hand who HAD to look at the phone, "Hi Daddy." She greeted her father in her high pitched daughter's voice. "Yeah, I'm in the lead right now." Alex brushed Olivia's lips. Olivia took the signal to wrap her arms around Alex to close their gap. She kissed Alex's chest as she continued to talk to her father. "No… Dad, I rather not talk to her." Alex's hand played with Olivia's hair needing her touch as her mother got on to the phone. "Mom." Alex's voice shaked. Olivia's mouth claimed Alex's nipple to help relax her beautiful girlfriend. Alex's eyes rolled with pleasure. Chills went through her body as Olivia dug her fingers in Alex's back. Alex bit down on her finger to prevent noises escaping her mouth as she sat there listening to her mom ramble.
Alex had a beep coming in, "Mom, Casey is calling. I love you and I'll talk to you later." She quickly switched her phone call, "Yeah, Casey?" Alex snapped, not wanting to have this phone call marathon. "No, it's not a really good time." She grunted as she was on the edge from Olivia's leg. She began to rock their bodies once again to try to get back where she was at. "Yeah bye." She quickly hung up the phone.
Olivia released her erect nipple. "Babe. I don't think this is going to happen."
"Shh," Alex was trying to deny the reality, as Donnelly set off her phone this time. Alex cupped her own cheeks and whined out, "This is ridiculous."
"Your sport calls." Olivia whispered.
"Yeah!" Alex snapped at her coach who she just saw before leaving the arena. "No, I'm not alright." Olivia started laughing at seeing the aroused woman in her lap sexually frustrated. She was finding Alex even more attractive. "No, it's my ankle. What's up? Yes I will wear my flats, anything else?... Okay I will see you tonight." Alex slammed her phone on the bed. She watched Olivia sit back laughing at the situation. "Are you serious?" Olivia nodded, "No…" Alex pouted.
"I'll tell you what." Olivia stopped moving her leg, and held Alex's hands.
Alex sighed out as she could feel her wet body throbbing, "You're turning me down again."
"Am I? Or is your scheduling stopping us?" Olivia wasn't going to argue with Alex. Alex was about to open her mouth in frustration. Olivia wasn't going to fight about this topic again. She quickly pinned Alex on her back, gaining Alex's full attention. Olivia has never been forceful with her and she loved it. "If you win gold tomorrow." Olivia kissed Alex's neck, "When you are able to have a breather and a spare moment." Olivia looked at Alex square in the eyes. "I'll fuck your brains out all night long."
Alex cocked her brow loving the sound of that. "And if I don't get gold?"
"Well then you are going to have to wait till we get back. You and I will have a romantic time on the beach. No phones," Olivia started in between kisses, "No interruptions. Just us taking our time with each other. Deal." Alex liked the sound of both things, even though she needed to be touched immediately. She didn't want to agree to the deal. "Deal?"
Alex was mesmerized by the commanding lips. "Deal." She pulled Olivia in for a kiss.
The two eventually were able to leave to get ready. Alex certainly took a longer time to get ready over Olivia. Olivia put on a pair of black pants and a red halter top. She was in the bathroom to start on her make-up. A half naked Alex walked into the bathroom. She was holding two dresses. Olivia looked at her girlfriend through the mirror to see Alex standing in her bra and thong in front of her. Her hair was up in curlers. Olivia smirked thinking after that morning, it's nice to see Alex comfortable in her body around her.
"Which one?"
Olivia looked at a red form fitting dress that she would love to stare at Alex in, but it's an autograph signing with little kids. She pointed to the 50's style dress with a full skirt and a tank top. "That one."
"Are you sure?" Alex questioned wanted to have a fuck me look for Olivia.
"Yeah. I think you'll be gorgeous." She turned around to look at Alex.
Alex stepped closer to Liv, "I make anything look good." She caressed Olivia's cheek.
Alex inched closer to Olivia, "The group's going to be soon."
Olivia reminded Alex as she looked at Alex's lips. "Don't wrinkle your dress." Olivia broke the trance, "If you come any closer we're not going to leave this room."
"I'll be okay with that."
"What would the children say?" Olivia asked Alex who has little kids looking up to her.
Alex squinted at her girlfriend, "We can't let the children down." She walked out of the bathroom.
They two were able to get ready in time for the four to have a good time chatting and drinking before they had to go to the signing. They arrived at one of the pools. It was lit up with hanging lights and lights floating in the water. Alex fought the urge to look at her beautiful girlfriend with the romantic setting they set up. The manager of the event came to grab the skaters from the group.
Olivia, Rafael and Serena sat down at a table. "So this is what happens?" Barba asked.
"Yep, they get adored by their fans, take pictures with everyone who got a ticket to come here. When pictures are done they come out here and mingle with the fans." Serena smiled.
"Do you ever get tired of it?" He asked.
Olivia would never ask a question about being tired of Alex's life. "Of course not." Serena smiled looking at her burnette through the window, "We both work our ass off to get where we are. A few weekends of the year where it's all about her and Sonny. That's a no brainer."
"So how did you end up meeting Abbie?" Olivia was curious about how a law student started dating a figure skater.
"Oh it wasn't anything special. We met at a club. I was trying to let off steam during exams and she needed to get out. She asked me to dance and the rest was history. What about you? I know Rafa met Sonny through you."
Olivia didn't want to go into details, "Our roommates are on a softball together."
"You're not much of a talker are you Olivia?" Serena observed Olivia.
"Olivia is the observer. That drives the ladies wild." Rafael smiled. "But to be someone who is actually in her circle. You are the luckiest person in the world. Because she does anything for her friends." He was happy to know Olivia.
"I can see that."
The snack bar opened up as the fans were starting to leave the photo opt area. "Excuse me. I want to get the good cheese before it's gone." Olivia exited from the group.
She grabbed a plate to look at the cheese and crackers. "I like your outfit." A voice came up behind Olivia.
Olivia turned around to see Russo standing next to her, "Oh thank you. How was the meet and greet?"
"Better now that you're here." She took a plate and placed fruit on her plate.
Olivia smiled at Alex's enemy, "Oh I'm no one impressive so I can't make it better. How do you feel about your skate? Second place that's impressive." She congratulated Jessica.
"First place is better." Jessica observed the last of Alex's line was finishing up.
"Yeah? Do you think you have what it takes to beat Cabot?" Olivia put her plate down.
"Oh yeah I think I have the key to win." She stepped closer to Olivia.
"What is that?" Olivia asked as Jessica pulled Olivia in for a lip lock. Olivia quickly took a giant step back. "Whoa, that's not on this buffet." Olivia wiped her mouth.
"Oh no, I'm sorry." Jessica softly said as she cocked her brow with a smirk. "Alexandra, how was your meet and greets?"
Olivia's gut dropped as didn't want to believe Jessica. She turned around to see Alex standing behind her. Both of their hearts were racing. Olivia didn't want to see Alex's broken face with her mouth open. "Alex," She stepped closer to Alex.
Alex couldn't believe Olivia kissed Jessica Russo, the one person she hated the most, "Don't." She put her hand up not wanting to be around anyone. She walked out of the pool area.
