I'm back I hope to do more. a little choppy but here
Olivia woke up without Alex in her bed. Olivia put her silky black robe on and she followed the sound of music coming through the walls of the penthouse. The music guided her to Alex's personal gym. Olivia stood in the doorway watching Alex work out. Alex had mirrors covering all the walls of the room. She watched Alex ran to jump up to spin four times in the air to pause the form as she looked in the mirror.
Alex took a moment to take a drink of water. She looked in the mirror. She lifted her shirt to see a fresh mark on her hip. Olivia's heart bled seeing Alex's hip. "Good Morning." She broke the silence.
Alex quickly dropped the shirt and spun to look at Olivia, "Morning I didn't wake you did I?"
"Yeah, I woke up to not feeling you in my arms."
Alex stepped closer to her girlfriend. "I'm sorry."
"You should be," Olivia smiled as she pulled her chin closer to give a good morning kiss to her blonde girlfriend. "Aren't you supposed to be relaxing your foot?"
"It feels great and I should be cleared today so I need this."
Olivia loved seeing Alex in a happy mood but she also didn't want to push herself. "I'm going to make you breakfast."
Alex stood back, "I'm not very hungry."
"You seem you've worked out a lot this morning," Olivia messed with Alex's sweaty ponytail.
"Not enough."
"Babe, please it will be something light." Olivia smirked, "I will make it up to you with calorie intake."
"Okay." Alex's shaky voice responded to her caring girlfriend.
Olivia pulled Alex out of the gym to make breakfast for the two. Alex pushed around her food on the plate. They retreated back into the bedroom. Olivia slowly undressed Alex. She kissed Alex's hip.
"What's this?" Olivia traced the fresh wound.
"Oh it happened last night. I dropped a knife while cooking." Alex explained.
"What were you cooking?"
"Sautee veggies." Alex smiled.
Olivia couldn't believe Alex's story. "Does this seem triggering?"
"Olivia, drop it. I dropped a knife, that's all that happened." She got off the bed.
"Where are you going?"
"Taking a shower alone." Alex snapped walking away from the integration.
Olivia and Alex were walking around shops to help keep Alex's mind off of things. Olivia walked them into a bookstore. She picked up a first edition Emily Dickison to look at it. "I've never pegged you as a poetry reader" Alex looked at what she was holding.
"Oh it wouldn't be for me." Olivia stated placing it back down.
"Then who would it be for?" Alex questioned picking up the book.
"My mom." Olivia cleared her throat. She looked at Alex who was looking at her. "Don't say anything."
"What? What am I going to say?"
"That is why I am thinking about getting Serena Benson a Christmas present, when she told me that she doesn't want to see me again."
"You actually said that, not me."
"I don't need to buy things for her." She placed the book down, and walked away from the stack.
Alex picked the book back up to follow her, "You know it's okay you want to give your mother something for Christmas. She is still your mother. When was the last time you've seen her?" Alex asked as she held her hand walking her to the register.
"Since the photo shoot." Olivia sighed out.
Alex was relieved to see her girlfriend with some kind of worry. She's been so calm and level headed since they've been together. "Well maybe it's time to say hello and amend the relationship."
"Just like you're gonna amend the relationship with your mother." Olivia stabbed.
Alex cleared her throat that it's going to be a long road of recovery with her mother. "My mother is different."
"How so." They walked out of the store.
"I don't know."
"Do you want to get something to eat? I'm starving." Olivia asked her skinny girlfriend.
Alex has lost her appetite regularly and has no desire to eat anymore, "Um, no I actually have to leave. I have a doctor's appointment. Fingers crossed I can finally get cleared." She smiled at Olivia.
"Okay let me know what happens." She kissed Alex as they parted ways.
Olivia walked into the skating rink, by herself. She stood at the doorway watching the skaters on the ice and Liz yelling at Peter. She rarely watched Alex skate with other skaters. Alex preferred to have the ice for herself during training. All of Liz's students were great.
"I have to be in the locker room in ten minutes. What's the big emergency?" Trevor quickly started the conversation.
"Your boy is getting yelled at again." Olivia tried to start a joke.
Trevor rolled his eyes, "What do you want?" He has never really had a conversation with Olivia.
Olivia felt the cold shoulder from Trevor as always worse because Alex wasn't around. "Can you please give me Alex's Dad's number?"
"Why, and what was the reason you had to see me for this?"
Olivia didn't have time for Trevor being a jerk. "Look, I know you don't like me for some reason. And I get that you're wound up because you have to see Stone everyday now. But I am asking for your help, because I don't know who else to turn to." Olivia snapped at the six foot seven man.
Trevor looked at Olivia square in her eyes, "You're right I don't like you and I don't trust you. I don't trust anyone who has a history of sleeping around with too many people. You're just like Stone, and I don't want to see Alex falling apart." Trevor shot at Alex's girlfriend of two months.
"She's already falling apart. But if you can't help me. I'll just go to Liz. But Alex told me how you helped her through her darkness last time." She looked at Trevor, knowing that Alex's well-being is more important than her ego. Trevor didn't move, "Fine!" She walked away from him.
He quickly grabbed her arm, "Has she gotten that bad?"
"Yes, as for someone who is considered to be her best friend, where have you been in the past month? She's talked to Abbie who lives in Texas more than she's talked to you."
"I'm sorry I've been busy."
"Don't apologize to me. Talk to your friend. Anyways I need his number." Olivia was trying to stay on point. Trevor stood with his mouth open. Olivia wasn't in the mood to play games with him. "Whatever." Olivia tried to walk to Liz once again.
"Fine! Here, give me your phone." He entered the phone number. "Here."
Olivia called the number and put her hand up telling Trevor to wait. "Mr. Cabot." She stepped to the side to talk to Alex's father. Once she hung up the phone, "Okay, I'm going to take Alex to her parent's place on the island tonight if you can make it."
"Sure, want me to tell Liz."
"Yeah, actually that will be best." Olivia shrugged her shoulders just wanting Alex to get better.
Olivia and Alex arrived at Alex's parents' place. Olivia stepped out of her car to see the mansion. "So this is where little Alex grew up."
"Mostly in the city but yes." Alex smiled.
"I'm so ready for this." Olivia smirked at wanting to see Alex's childhood bedroom.
They walked into the house, Alex held Olivia's hand as they walked into the livingroom to Michael, Trevor, Liz and her former therapist. "Are you serious?" Alex felt a little betrayed by Olivia knowing she's the closest one to Alex since her injury. "I'm not doing this." Alex tried to break away from Olivia's grasp.
Olivia held her from walking away. "No, we need to talk."
Michael walked up to Alex to hold her hand to help sit down in the biggest chair. "Alexandra, Olivia called us up because she's really worried about you."
Alex looked at Olivia, "Well she's paranoid because I'm fine."
Olivia's heart sunk into her gut hearing the same words from Serena during the first rehab check in. "You're not okay." Olivia stated firmly.
Alex didn't want to be put under a microscope, "Yes because these people are going to take words from you over me," Alex lashed out at her girlfriend, "Because it's my life and I know if I'm fine."
Olivia felt like the outcast in the group but also seeing the real Alex the whole time.
"Alexandra, I've seen skaters go down with depression during an injury or a possible retirement." Liz stated.
"Great, well I'm not depressed, I'm not retiring and I'm fine." Alex informed everyone.
"You're not eating to maintain weight." Olivia shouted out.
"You don't understand what it takes to be perfect." Alex stood up with the dagger eyes. "The lighter I am, the higher I jump. Not working out for eight hours…"
"I would have told you if we were training wrong. Alex, I told you I needed you to relax to recover quickly." Liz stated.
"And I have recovered. The doctor cleared me today so I was doing just fine." Alex kept deflecting her issues.
Olivia wasn't going to play this game. "If you're fine, lift up your shirt." Olivia commanded knowing what she saw earlier that morning.
"I don't need this. This is a waste of everyone's time."
"We're here to help you." Trevor informed the group. "Dr. Mcguire is great to talk to, she can help with all these what ifs."
"No Trevor. We're here because Olivia can't help her mother with her problems and now is making phantom problems with me." Alex blurted out while trying desperately to stop this intervention. Olivia looked into the blue eyes as she knows Alex didn't mean that. "Maybe it will help everyone if you just stayed at the bar making drinks. Clearly you try to fix problems that aren't there, causing more problems. It's all your fault then." Alex's painful eyes locked with Olivia.
"Alexandra," Michael stated.
"You're right. I won't make it my fault. I hope that stupid medal is worth it," Olivia rolled her eyes. She looked past Alex. "Good luck with her." Olivia walked out of the house.
Alex was frozen as she watched her love walk out of her house, after harsh words she told her. She turned to the group. "Okay so everyone knows everything is okay. Liz and Trevor, I will see you at the rink on Monday." Alex closed up the intervention.
"And you are staying here this weekend." Michael commanded
Alex nodded, "Okay that's fine." Alex sighed out.
