Thank fuck, I'm back. This month has been a nightmare. I lost like all my stuff saved in one of my files that just so happened to include all the parts I'd written for both published and unpublished stories. Had to start rewriting what I had left from my physical notebooks to improvise, which was such a paaiiinnnnn.
Fucking. Nightmare. -_-
(Also, Jesus, I forgot why I find Fresh a Nightmare to write and why I don't go too outta my way to get into it, stg wut is this. why do you do this to me)
"Do you think Outer would let me hang out in his world?" Chara pulled the lever on the slot machine (oddly enough, one of the only things in the hidden room), frown evident. "I get that I'll probably trash his world as well, but like, I haven't yet? So we should be cool."
"Probs Will, The Dudes Kinda Like Dreamy Bro Here." Fresh spun in a circle as he gestured dramatically towards Dream, who gave him an unimpressed look in return. "They're Both Waaayyyyyy Too Chill."
"I'll be taking that as a compliment." Dream's unimpressed stare did not waver.
"Oh hey, look. Three cherries." Chara vaguely gestured towards the machine.
"Oh, Oh! Whaddya Get?"
"Umm, ten coins..." Chara shrugged, dumping them into the donation box before slumping down onto the ground beside the other two. "Not really useful, though, is it."
"Guess not."
The trio lapsed into a moment of silence, Chara curling into himself with Dreams pillow-cape wrapped around his body.
"None of us are going to be happy with how this all ends, are we?"
"Hard to tell, isn't it?" Dream hummed, a pained look in his eyes as he drummed his fingers along the side of his circlet. "I'm clearly not doing much right now. You're, no offence, pretty much-doing nothing as a phantom, and..."
"Brah, I Ain't The Sort To Get Involved In This Shindig." Fresh cut the other off grimly.
"Man, what a group we make." Chara's head beat against the side of the slot machine. "Who's the bastard that thought it'd be a good idea to have us fix the multiverse?"
"Pretty Un-Rad To Not Do Your Research On The Peeps You're Leavin' It All To." Fresh snickered, poking at Chara until the boy would give him a high-five. "Maybe Dey Just Didn't Care?"
"Yeah, great team." Dream responded dryly.
Fate of the Multiverse. No pressure. None. At. All.
The second break didn't last as long as the first, and not many managed to relax before they regrouped.
Strech figured it was hard to relax when they knew which world was going to be shown next. When they all knew whose life was at risk, it brought them back to the question of why they'd been the ones brought here...
It wasn't a question he was sure anyone wanted the answer to.
The trio returned from the kitchen in silence as Core spoke up.
"We're not talking about what we watched, are we?"
Core's question was met with no verbal response.
"Oh... 'continue' then."
Cross and XChara stood in XTale before a glitching skeleton brother house made up of Underfells code.
At least there was something in their world, Chara thought wryly. It wasn't much, and it was a glitching mess, but it was something.
"Snowdin... is finally ours."
Error snorted. That sounded like an anime line. How cheesy.
Undernovela was a much better source of entertainment.
"I wouldn't be happy about it," XChara responded with a frown, watching Cross raise his injured arm. "Look what they did to us."
Chara hissed out a censored curse as the wound glitched out of existence. Stupid kill or be killed world filled with cowardly assholes.
"Besides, we didn't get everything we wanted... people... more places... a soul for me..."
Core shifted uncertainly in their seat. This was a... difficult circumstance.
"Next time, just listen to me. Remember that you can bring all of this thanks to my code." XChara glanced towards Cross as the other looked conflicted. "You're just a tool. You don't have the right to think."
Chara's body jolted as he flinched harshly.
That was, they sounded like-
they weren't like that...
Cross expression closed off as XChara continued. "You only cause trouble."
"...I'm" Cross raised his hand. "... a tool..."
Stretch grimaced at Cross' words. They were all treated as tools enough, thanks to the RESETs. No one needed to spell it out for them. His world was only just getting a reprieve thanks to a certain Frisk no longer being able to RESET against his Charas will.
Openly accepting you were a tool for the human did make the RESETs easier, but now that the RESETs were on pause... it was hard to find your self-worth...
Cross trailed off, eyelights suddenly shrinking as-
"Well, Well, Sup Mah Rad Neighbrohood Skelepal?!" Fresh greeted as he slid into the others personal space.
"What the fun-pop." Error leaned back into the couch, disgusted. "I can see two of it."
"Careful now," Core leaned over to smile teasingly at the glitching skeleton. "You're going to crash again at this rate."
"When I find your timeline, I will destroy it piece by piece before you and laugh as I do it."
"Yo, I Heard Over There Dat Ya Havin' A Totes Rad Time... All Up N' Stealin' Parts From Other Places." Leaning towards the other, Fresh lowered his glasses (Now saying 'Run' and 'Bro' on them) to give the other a clear view of his soul. "Yo,... Pretty Un-Rad Of Ya Ta All Up N Go Have Fun On Ya Own, YA KNOW?!"
"Ugh." Error shuddered. "Parasites."
"Umm, you might've come on a bit too strong there, Fresh." Outer sweatdropped.
"Love Ya Too, Error, Outer!"
"Funk. YOU."
"So," Readjusting his glasses, Fresh continued, resolutely ignoring Cross' unimpressed and guarded stare. "I Was All Up N Thinkin'!" Snapping finger guns at the other, who didn't bother blinking, he waved both arms up and down. "Maybe We Could Throw A Totes Off Fa Hook Party! Like, Ta Welcome Ya N Stuff!"
Stretch snorted at how unfazed Cross was. For his first meeting with Fresh, that was impressive.
Glancing away, Cross merely teleported out of the situation.
Fresh's glasses broadcasted the word 'Rude' in response.
"Awww, My New Fluffy Bro's So Rude!" Fresh rolled over to point accusingly at Chara. "Chara, Why Aren't Ya Helpin' Me Out!"
"'M pretty sure Chara left the moment you showed up." Dream awkwardly admitted. "Can't exactly blame him."
His glasses changed to 'welp' as he shrugged and continued speaking. "... Ya Gonna Get P Bored." Grinning creepily, he chuckled lowly. "i know."
"Fresh~" Chara whined as they bumped the other's shoulder. "Your creepy's showing again. Stop trying to scare Crossy."
"Pft, He's Fine, He's Fine." Fresh waved his hands around. "Am Just Havin' Fun, No One's Gettin' Hurt!"
"yet," Error muttered lowly, rolling his eyes.
"When will that guy be leaving from here?" Having teleported into the skele bros' house, Cross absently looked around.
"That place is so messy." Chara moaned into his pillow-cape. "Why did Nightmare drop us into that stupid world."
"Probably to mess with Fell. He loves to screw with the hot-headed monsters." Dream explained with a long-suffering sigh. Those AUs were always a pain to portal into.
"I can't understand anything he's saying," Cross grunted as he flopped onto the couch.
"It's Not Dat Hard." Fresh pouted.
"Hah, look at the way your cheeks are puffing out! You look like Dream."
"He does not." Dream blushed, puffing out his cheeks with a frown.
"Proving my point~."
"This house is a mess," XChara commented as they appeared seated beside Cross.
"Chara Bruh, You're In Tune With Future You!" Fresh swung his legs in excitement.
"Creepy." Dream shivered.
"Ditto," Outer added, words muffled by the pillow he was curled around.
"It's not that bad..." Cross trailed off sadly. "I guess."
"It's a shame we couldn't spend more time in that AU..." XChara's smile grew tense, and he swung both of his arms behind his head. "We only needed to get a human soul for me... We could go back to Underfell now that we know the access route..."
"I thought you said it had to be a sorta... a sorta soul from a version of you, right?" Stretch scratched the side of his skull.
"I'm not too picky. Any old human wouldn't do, but I'm compatible with versions of Frisk too." Well, not for the same reasons as other AUs, but... they were used to Frisk's soul.
"I don't want to go back there." Cross lifted his hood over his skull.
"Oh... I get it." XChara leaned towards Cross, smile turning small. "You don't want me to get my own part..."
Not like they could blame him, Chara exhaled sadly.
From Cross' point of view, a lot of this was his fault, and he'd done nothing to change that.
Being the only ones left from their world... it felt wrong that they couldn't trust each other.
"I can't believe that you're okay with just half a soul." XChara's grin turned devious. "You have to be a Little bit more DETERMINED, don't you think so?"
"...I'm tired, leave me alone."
"..." Chara's grin fell. "How boring you are."
Cross' eyes slowly started to shut, his exhaustion showing.
"Whatever, the names of our next destinations have just been stored in your mind. We'll come back here again to start modifying the code of our world... and then..."
Cross slumped back, eyes shut.
Dream nervously twirled a loose thread. How often did the other sleep? It must be hard to sleep in such a desolate world, especially when that world would have once been your own world.
He couldn't imagine trying to go back to Dreamtale and-and sleeping there, as though nothing had happened.
He wouldn't last an hour before... he didn't even know what he'd do, other than that his emotions would go haywire.
"Hey, are you listening to me?" XChara raised his voice in a burst of frustration as Cross' eyes snapped open, and he relaxed, devious smile back in place. "Wow... you're really... tired... Why don't you... sleep a little while?"
Stretch tensed at Chara's tone of voice. It was taking effort for him to... remind himself that this was a different Chara to the one in the room with him now.
"No..." Cross eyelights flickered with worry as he turned away, shame being expressed at his inability to stay awake. "I can't waste time..."
Chara shut his eyes, unable to watch. Seeing himself from another perspective, he couldn't help but compare himself to him.
What has he become?
I'm so sorry, Cross.
"C'mon, pal! You should take a rest. You deserve it!" XChara continued speaking in a soft, goading voice. "It has been a long time since you slept. Besides, If you're tired, I'll be tired too."
"Okay..." Cross hesitantly agreed, eyes drifting back shut. "but only for a few minutes..."
Core pondered over how Chara only let Cross sleep then and not moments before.
Was it somehow to relax the other further? Or perhaps... was there a reason Chara needed Cross to verbally agree to sleep?
Was that a hidden trigger?
Floating in a dark void, Cross slowly blinked awake to the sound of rattling.
"Tch, how ominous." Error scoffed, hands twitching.
Cross glanced down, eyes widening in terror at the chain wrapped around his wrist.
"Chara?" Dream put his hand on Charass shoulder in concern as the other buried their face in his pillow-cape.
"You're a fool," Chara murmured as they floated into view, arm securely holding the other end of the chain. In the real world, Cross smiled as Chara spoke through him, both eyelights now red. "HAHAHA! I knew this would work. Now you'll be the one who'll hide behind me..."
"'m such an idiot."
"Hm... let's see... How can I use your powers?"
"N-NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Cross gasped out, struggling against the chain that linked the two together.
"Considering the fact this whole mess is kinda meant to be helping us figure out if we should help you out or not, you're, ah," Stretch snorted as he spoke dryly. "Pulling off a great evil act right there, kiddo."
"NOT. A KID." Chara shot back, suddenly sitting up and twisting around to glare at Stretch.
"It feels odd having a monster body, but it doesn't matter..." Grin widening Cross-Chara continued. "Once I get my human soul, I'll be able to have lots of fun!"
SWEET DREAMS, DEAR FRIEND
"Sure you're not, then why's your body pint-sized?"
Chara desperately continued to glare at Stretch, no matter how weak their glare was at the moment.
Don't listen, don't look, don't think about it.
"I KNEW I COULDN'T TRUST YOU!" Cross screamed back at his former partner in crime, magic activating.
Grin still unnaturally wide, Cross-Chara reached out a hand-
A bone impaled them through Cross' right eye socket, and their body glitched.
"What the funk." Error gaped at the screen. Who the fuck would do something like that? Through your own socket too... Anywhere else would've been better.
It was awful when you injured your eyes, especially when you were a skeleton.
Cross' body slumped forward, the bone still in his socket being all that was keeping him up.
Chara, no longer being distracted by Stretch, gasped lightly.
He looked like a puppet that just had his strings cut. But wasn't that how they saw him?
He really wanted to talk to Cross, or at least see him. He needed Cross.
Slowly reaching out, Cross glitched the bones to disappear and grasped his skull.
"...Chara?" Cross hesitantly spoke up, magic leaking from his socket. He glitched the wound away. "Hey, kiddo! ...Chara!?"
"What is up with that ability?" Outer pouted. "Just poofing wounds out of existence."
"It is certainly... different... than the norm." Core agreed after a moment. It was likely something caused by their AU, but what could give them such an ability... their AU probably didn't follow the usual script.
"Aw, Come On, It's Super Rad!" Fresh grinned, giddy. "Dude Can Fall Off As Many Cliffs As He Wants!"
"What sort of metaphor is that!?"
Rushing over to a mirror, Cross laughed deliriously. "Haha... You're knocked out." Both of his eyelights were white. "Finally... I got rid of you, Stupid Kid!"
Chara ducked his head in shame once more. He should just write this part off as a disaster.
Cross hated him. He was acting like the monster that caused all this. He was... using Cross like a puppet... Cross was probably doing the same back at him...
They were both acting so much like him.
whywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhy
"Do you like talking to yourself?"
Dream flinched at Nightmares appearance.
He HATED it when Nightmare appeared out of nowhere. It always left him hurt worse than usual.
"N-Nightmare!" Cross narrowed his sockets at the other skeleton.
"Are you surprised to see me? What did you expect?" Nightmare slouched forwards, eye gleaming. "That I would take you wherever you wanted and wait for orders as If I were your stupid dog?"
"Great, goopy's back, and he comes with an attitude." Error clapped sarcastically, grinning smugly at the stifled laughter from Outer and Dream.
"I don't need to beg you for help to come back to MY world." Cross rebuffed the other. "I can do it on my own. Whatever, I want you to take me to the next world..."
"Agh!" Dream put his skull in his hands. "Not good, not good."
"What're ya mutterin' bout, broski?" Fresh popped the question both he and Chara were wondering.
"It's called 'Under-'"
Nightmare shot out a tentacle, winding it around the other skeleton. Eyes widening in shock, Cross was slammed into the wall, shattering the mirror behind him in the process.
"Oh-" Fresh started.
"Shizzledip." Chara finished, eyes blown wide.
"Chara, if you can, DON'T do this in the future?" Dream begged the human, lightly shaking him.
"The Dup, Dream?"
Core suddenly spoke up after a moment of thinking. "Mayhaps you should all take this seriously. In nearly every scene so far, at least one of us has been present, but Chara is currently unconscious." Core tilted their head. "Is that not something noteworthy for you?"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TRYING TO DO!?" Nightmare screeched into Cross face, the other looking spooked. "IDIOTS LESS PATHETIC THAN YOU HAVE TRIED TO FOOL ME WITHOUT SUCCESS."
"Isn't everyone less pathetic than us?" Chara snickered to himself.
"DON'T THINK THAT YOU'LL BE THE FIRST IDIOT WHO'LL DO IT. I TOLD YOU NOT TO KILL ANYBODY."
"Back off, short stack." Error growled at the smug omnipresent child. "If I'm gonna think something, there's a g0od ChAnce, I'm GonNa SAY IT!"
"I NEED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ALIVE TO USE THEM FOR YOUR STUPID PURPOSES!"
"Our what." Chara blinked, baffled.
"Eh, he sometimes makes no sense." Dream shrugged helplessly. "Kinda weird when he's the one that'd read books."
"DO YOU THINK THAT I'M HELPING YOU JUST BECAUSE I LIKE YOU?"
"Oi, Destroyer." Stretch glared at the other skeleton harshly. "Take your own advice, 'short stack'."
"Duck off, Anomaly."
"I-I don't want to kill anybody... I-I'm just taking the code of each world to create mine..." Cross weakly resisted. "I-I just threatened to kill them so that they'd leave me alone."
"I don't think joking around every now and then to keep our moods up is bad." Outer sadly muttered into a pillow.
Moments when the others took control of the situation like this... he felt out of his depth.
"You think that's a good insult." Stretch scoffed, blocking Core from Errors view as he shifted to glare at the destroyer. "You're such a man-baby."
"THAT'S A BETTER INSULT!?"
"Okay... don't get too scared... I've just had a sudden rage..." Nightmare smiled at the other. "You're pale... I'm just asking you to fulfil your side of the deal."
"I never like it when he does that." Dream murmured softly, eyes forever drawn to Nightmare as he shivered. "He's always so..."
He released Cross and turned away from the other, still oozing a certain charm as he did so. "We don't want you getting hurt, do we? Now, tell me the name of the place you want to go to..."
"I do not see why you are making a big deal of my request." Core's voice echoed through the room as it raised in volume with their frustration. "Is it so hard to abide by one simple request? Or are you truly incapable?"
"Ah, just one more thing..."
"Brah, They're Doin' It Again." Fresh groaned as the trio on the carpet looked behind themselves.
Outer had his skull buried into a pillow as Error inched closer and closer to him in his efforts to shout over him towards the other duo.
Stretch was blocking Core from view as he also leaned over his couch to glare at the destroyer. Though at the same time, with how he was leaning over the edge, it seemed he'd be falling off the edge sooner rather than later.
Core, themselves, had their arms crossed, cheeks puffed out as they stared past Stretch and at the destroyer with their own version of a glare.
"If I see you doing something that might break our deal..."
"Their problem." Chara shrugged, turning back to the screen. "Though I do feel bad for Outer."
"Same."
"I will personally make you relive the death of your universe over and over until you no longer have any desire to keep living your stupid life..." Nightmare grinned over his shoulder at Cross. "Is that clear?"
"Bastard." Chara hissed through their teeth.
"Totes Un-Rad, Night." Fresh shook his head. "Dats Waayyy Too Much."
The scene changed to show Underswap, all happily on the surface.
"Is that...?" Chara furrowed their brow.
Cross and Nightmare teleported into a back alleyway.
"Ah, St-Stretch!" Dream shot up, waving his hands in the air to attract the others attention. "W-We're in Underswap now!"
"What-" Stretch started, cutting himself off with a grimace as he saw his world. Glancing between Error, Core and Outer, he slumped into his seat. "We'll finish this later."
"Agreed." Core smiled.
"Do what you must. You've been warned." Nightmare grunted out before vanishing.
Stretch blinked. Warned?
...Oh, Toriel, he'd missed something. And from the frustrated groan Core was making, he wasn't the only one.
Fucking Error.
"...Is this the surface?" Cross queried as he peeked out behind a box. Attempting to glitch his weapon into existence, he grimaced as nothing formed. "It's pointless... I can't use the hack if Chara is not awake. I guess I'll just work for Nightmare meanwhile..."
Core blinked curiously. So Chara was the source of the hack? Humans typically couldn't use magic, and Core had assumed this hack fell somewhere between the usage of code and magic. However, if it was Chara's ability, that made it much more unique. Did it operate like a RESET button? What were the limits? It was always so difficult to estimate these things when it came to humans.
"Well, Well. Taking a little break on your working-" Cross grunted at the interruption, glancing up, however, had his eyes widen in panic. "shift, little bro?"
"Stretch! Stretchy! Stretch!" Fresh swung his legs in an imitation of Chara. "Ma Bro, It's You!"
"Yes, yes, I can see that," Stretch responded dryly, eyes riveted to the screen.
"Oh! Sorry." Stretch towered over Cross and grinned lazily down at him. "I confused you with my brother... You look a little bit like him..."
Cross' vision glitched to show a grinning and vacant XTale!Papyrus.
Chara's breath hitched. "Oh." Cross' parting with his brother had been... That was another thing that was their fault...
"Typical, you don't have a problem with it having a laugh, but when I do?" Error growled, glitches increasing enough to unnerve Outer.
"E-Error-"
"I never saw you around here..." Stretch trailed off.
"I said we'd talk about this later, or at least, I'll try to talk." Stretch snorted derisively, fingers itching to grab a cigarette. "Kinda hard to do that with you."
"Whatever, nice costume, though Halloween is Oct-Over, Buddy." Stretch sniggered. "NYEHEHEH."
"My heads hurting hearing two of him talk." Outer moaned into his pillow as a headache formed.
"Hah, you hear that, you stupid carrot! You're in the wrong."
"That wasn't encouragement." Outer sighed wearily.
"I can see you're a little tired. You're lucky. I've found a taco shop nearby." Stretch offered a bag to Cross, who startled. "So I bought some for my brother, but I can share one with you if you want."
Dream couldn't help the pained twist of his soul at Cross expression. He kept having these moments where he looked so... innocent. Like the first time any child from the village would come up to the tree. Some would look so stunned, others fearful...
"Here." Stretch pulled out a taco from the bag. "Humans also make them, and these have just been made."
"TACOOOS!" Cross jumped towards Stretch and snatched the taco, all prior fears being forgotten.
Stretch jaw dropped a bit. "Uh, Chara? That... normal?"
"Think so?" Chara bit his lip. It was the current timeline that this was normal, right?
'So this is where Ink used to bring them from... HAHA!' Cross thought cheerfully despite his stoic expression.
Stretch grinned despite the tension in his bones. Cross... he really reminded him of his brother the more he watched. If anything, Stretch hoped when they got out of here and dealt with this mess, the other could maybe stay with them. Sans would get along with him, and the guy looked like he needed some stability and comfort.
Man, a peaceful ending to all this seemed so far away.
"Are you sure you really don't know my brother Sans?" Stretch flicked away his cigarette and pulled out a bar of chocolate. "I think... you could be good friends."
"CHOCOLATE!" Cross Leapt up and down to try and reach the chocolate as Stretch raised it above his head.
"Dreamy~! Freshy~!" Chara turned to the two with stars in his eyes. "We should eat chocolate when we get out of here!"
Error subconsciously reached for his pocket, where a singular bar of chocolate lay, and started to eat it.
"NO, STOP! THIS IS MINE!"
Twitching at the distinct noise of eating, Chara gasped in horror as Error ate a bar of chocolate bar.
"How dare you! First my soul, now this!" Chara rolled over to lay on top of Dream. "The horror! How cruel can one be."
"Hey, you two! Stop wasting time and come here to help!" Underswaps very own Alphys shouted.
"I like your new look, Sans." Napstaton winked.
"Don't wink at Cross." Chara gagged. "He's my- uh..."
What was he? He was once their guard, then practically a brother in the early timelines, then a friend, and then a partner in code stealing.
Did soul sharing make them, like, siblings?
"Nah, he's not my bro, Napstaton." Cross eyelights shrank when Stretch placed his hand on his skull. "He's an interesting little buddy."
"I'm a funkin' destroyer, brat." Error deadpanned, licking at his fingers before he pouted. "That was my only bar."
"Be glad you had anything on you," Stretch grunted, gaze softening in concern as he watched the screen with mounting dread.
'Th-these code fragments... They seem too familiar.'
For Cross, the world had turned white.
Chara winced. He should have warned Cross. Watching Underswap through a screen was already pulling at his heartstrings, but for Cross, who wasn't fully aware of how connected they were to this AU...
They both really were turning out to be like him in the end, weren't they?
'...Why...?'
"Howdy, Everyone!" Cross vision returned as Toriel appeared. "I brought a little something for you." Toriel was startled as she noticed Cross before smiling softly. "Oh! Hello, young one! Is everything okay?"
Chara exhaled slowly, eyes drinking in the features of Toriel and the others. It wasn't their Toriel, but... this... a tear dribbled down his cheek, hidden from view.
"Would you like some pie?"
Mettaton (a ghost, how silly), Alphys (an Alphys that was free), Undyne (both eyes intact, a goofy scientist), Toriel (mom), Asgore (dad), Asr-
Azzy.
Too. Much.Too. Much.Too. Much. Too. Much. TOO. MUCH.
Taking a deep breath, Cross opened his eyes, his view nothing but his glitching home filled with friends no longer there.
Tears forming alongside a pained grin, he slashed at Toriel. The happiness of the AU seemed to fade in that single moment.
Stretch blinked his own tears away from forming. That had been too much for Cross. They'd overwhelmed him, and now... That version of himself wouldn't understand anything about Cross and Chara, wouldn't get the chance to.
Damn it all to hell, couldn't things have stayed peaceful!?
Stretch choked from behind Cross. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"
"I must continue with the job... brother."
IMPOTENT NOTICE!
IMPOTENT NOTICE! IMPOTENT NOTICE!
IMPOTENT NOTICE!
Not really. Basically, I went back and rewrote... every chapter. I don't think I changed too much. I kept practically everything in. I've just been adding more scenes and changing the phrasing of some stuff. For example, there was some stuff at the start of Chapter 3 that was bugging me, so BOOM, fixed it.
Fresh speech has a unique style now, with every letter being capitalised. That's now a consistent feature, apart from when Fresh'll be whispering n stuff like that.
I've also added more context. Like more references to the multiverse n stuff, such as Dream referencing Nightmare a bunch more, and Stretch referencing BTT. Just shit I will be building on later.
And yes, different convos will be happening at the same time. I'm not going back on that. It's unrealistic they'd be waiting their turn to say shit, so I've spaced it out as naturally as I can.
Before anyone tries anything, I'm not trying to give hate to any of the characters! Their actions are caused because they're in a high-pressure situation. The stress is getting to them now that it's getting serious.
The obvious sign for this was 'come back', which brought back Trauma.
None of them had ANY connections to Underfell, so it was a lot easier to watch all the early stuff.
Now, everyone has their own reasons to be stressed.
Anywho, I've mostly hashed out which characters 'll be in the other reaction, though there's at least two that haven't shown up yet in the actual series, so imma just wait on that and do what I can for writing up a rough draft.
Hope you liked the intro for Underswap!
