School started for me and I had a really packed schedule bc I was gonna quit my job, but I finally got to finishing the chapter. A bit longer and kind of a filler chapter to somehow get her into their life. I'm planning more daily life stuff to write. Hopefully I'll get more time to update.

DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN KHR

Dear diary, what am I doing?

Michiko let out a frustrated growl and went back to a blank expression, determined to try again. She could smile, of course she could. Who exactly did those two think they were? Tsuna with his 'you'd look better if you smiled more' and Yamamoto with his 'up on your pedestal, always in a bad mood' bullshit. No way could that be true.

A knock on the door caught her attention. "Onee-san, can you hurry up? I have to use the bathroom."

She reached for the knob before staring back in the mirror, now attempting a casual smile. Instead it looked as if someone had pulled back cheeks and stretched her face out to mimic a smile. She groaned, slamming her forehead against the wall. Why was she so bad at this? Why did it even matter? It was just Tsuna and Yamamoto. She wasn't gonna let them get to her, definitely not.

"Morning class rep!' Yamamoto greeted her, raising his hand up.

"Hm." she acknowledged him with a nod.

"Still not in a good mood I see." he teased.

"I am in SUCH a good mood!" she shouted back, causing him to erupt into laughter.

Somehow Yamamoto Takeshi convinced himself that bothering me on a daily basis was a-okay. It just wasn't enough that the last time he talked to me I almost fell off a building. Now he had to make it a point to harass me.

"Oh Tsuna." Yamamoto pointed out, before cheerfully greeting the boy.

"Morning Yamamoto." he responded. He looked over at Michiko, hesitating before mumbling a greeting.

Then there was Sawada. I always thought he was dense, but Yamamoto was another level. At least one of them knew to keep their distance.

Once class began, the teacher reminded everyone of the upcoming math test. Michiko could almost hear the collective groans of the class, as the air grew heavy. Math wasn't her favorite, but it was tolerable. She would definitely need to do some review.

She found herself glancing over at Tsuna, who was of course having a mental breakdown on his desk. For someone who didn't put any effort into schoolwork, he sure did stress a lot. If he just studied, it would be fine.

When the last class of the day finished, Michiko was ready to bolt out of the classroom and go home. The faster she went home, the faster she could clear math studying from her to do list. Right as she stood up from her seat, she saw Yamamoto waiting by her side.

But of course it was the more annoying one who had to be all chummy.

"So class rep, how about we all study together?" he smiled down at her.

She grimaced. At this point, she really didn't care whether or not her show of obvious discontent would bother him. There was really no other way he would get the hint.

"I think that's a good idea." responded a squeaky voice from below.

Michiko glanced down to see a toddler at her side. She had noticed him hanging around Tsuna earlier, but never thought much of it. The boy was a lost cause anyway, so it didn't surprise her if his social circle consisted of children.

"No thanks." she responded, trying to walk past the two of them. However, Yamamoto was blocking a good portion of the aisle and didn't seem intent on budging.

"Oh come on. It'll be more fun studying in a group than alone."

She continued frowning. The boy really didn't know when to quit. "I study better alone." she curtly responded.

Yamamoto slightly frowned. "Just one day won't hurt. You're smart and we need all the help we can get."

His attempt at playing up to her ego was unamusing. She rolled her eyes while he stared inquisitively, patiently waiting for a response. Unlike Tsuna, this boy had too much pride to give her puppy dog eyes, but he held an intense stare that was unnerving. Michiko may not have liked him, but he was undeniably attractive and she could feel her cheeks heat up due to his unwavering gaze.

She internally groaned. Why did she have to cave so easily under pressure? However, she was not going to give in and managed to mumble out a response. "Why're you asking me anyway? Gokudera is smart. He's more than enough for helping you and Sawada."

He let out a small chuckle. "That's true, but I was hoping to even out the numbers. So what do you say?"

He ended his sentence, his eyes holding the same intensity, as if he could see right through her. She badly wanted to smash her face into the desk. Maybe this was why he was so popular? Being attractive must be some supernatural power in itself, if it had managed to make her falter like this.

Yamamoto leaned down in front of her face and waved his hand back and forth in front of her eyes causing her to jolt her head back. "What was that for?" she hissed out, certain her cheeks were flushed. He had been only several centimeters away from her face.

"You were spacing out. Are you okay? Your face is red." he said, indeed confirming her thoughts. "Maybe you're sick." he asked reaching his hand towards forehead.

Michiko fiercely swatted it away. "No I'm fine! I'll join the study group. Just give me the info."

She looked down, trying to avoid eye contact. The toddler looked at her with an amused expression. Was this kid mocking her? He looked like he was smirking. How embarrassing had this whole situation been that even a baby was making fun of her for overreacting? She forced herself to look up at Yamamoto as his face lit up from her compliance.

"Great! We're meeting at Tsuna's house this weekend. Get there by 1."

"I don't know where he lives."

"Oh that's right." he looked up thinking of a solution before pulling out his phone. "Here let's exchange numbers." She pulled out her phone and tried her best to hold back a scream.

Did I commit some kind of grave mistake in a past life? Why was it that the boy I was trying to avoid at all costs just forcefully pushed his way into my life?

After Yamamoto forced his contact info onto Michiko, he messaged her the directions to Tsuna's house. At first he wanted to meet with her beforehand and have the two walk there together to prevent any confusion. If there was anything she could avoid from this situation, it would be letting him know her home address. First it starts with the contact info, then he knows where she lives, and before she could even realize he would be a regular part of her life. Not gonna happen, not in this lifetime.

She walked to the Sawada residence and saw Sasagawa Kyoko waiting in front of the door. Kyoko turned her head and gave Michiko a smile. "Class rep, I didn't know you were coming."

"Yeah, Yamamoto kind of forced me into it."

The two of them made small talk until Tsuna opened the door. "Kyoko-chan you came."

Michiko rolled her eyes at how elated he sounded. A dust of pink covered his cheeks and she noted how his brown eyes darted around nervously. She snorted. Just one look and it all clicked. Sasagawa Kyoko was the reason he didn't want to be expelled. Anyone could see he was a love-struck idiot. He came out of his daze and noticed Michiko with her arms crossed together, wearing the usual apathetic expression.

"Class rep?" he asked, his voice giving away his confusion. He didn't expect her to be there obviously. "U-um what are you doing here? I-I mean Yamamoto told me you'd be coming, but I didn't actually expect you to come…"

His voice grew quieter towards the end of his sentence and he looked down. She shrugged her shoulders, pushing past him. "Well here I am." she muttered.

An hour into the study session with the group and Michiko was already prepared for the test. She knew she was going to ace it. It helped that she reviewed and practiced before today because she knew for a fact she was going to get nothing done at Tsuna's house. Yamamoto and Tsuna seemed to be lost causes, so the group was split into two miniature groups for one-on-one study sessions. Gokudera and Kyoko had Tsuna covered while Michiko was helping Yamamoto.

Yamamoto didn't see much interest in studying and tried holding a conversation instead. However, Michiko shot him down whenever she could and continued pushing with the review. Eventually, he got into it and started getting questions right. Tsuna on the other hand looked to be struggling. If it wasn't Gokudera's incomprehensible explanations, it was Kyoko getting too close to him. When she leaned towards him and looked up, Michiko swore he was going to have a stroke.

"Why don't we switch tutors? Yamamoto seems to have gotten the hang of it already."

Michiko looked up to see the same toddler in a suit that followed Tsuna everywhere standing next to the table.

"Besides, Gokudera may not have to study, but you're taking up Kyoko's time too, Tsuna."

"Ah…" his cheeks reddened out of embarrassment. Michiko shifted over to Tsuna's side, switching seats with Kyoko. She could see his former glee replaced with anxiety when she sat down. She leaned over, frowning at his progress. He had gotten all the practice problems wrong so far and there was some strange gibberish written on his scrap paper. She picked up the pencil and rolled her neck. This was gonna take some effort.

As Michiko showed Tsuna the method for solving the problem, Gokudera glared at her. She ignored him and let Tsuna try and solve the problem. She pressed her fingertips against her temples when he got it wrong for the umpteenth time. She sighed, closing her eyes for a second.

The silence was interrupted by Gokudera clicking his tongue. "Can't you even teach properly?"

"Excuse me?" she scoffed. "It's not as if your nonsensical explanations were helping him. And it's not my fault if he doesn't get it. Yamamoto was able to do it after I explained it to him."

Tsuna slumped over. Was he giving up again? He was never gonna pass the test with this.

"Sawada." Michiko said in a calm voice. She noted how he tensed up, but she continued anyway. "Try again. For every question you get wrong we're gonna do ten practice problems."

"Ten problems?!" he shrieked.

"Do you want to do better or not?" she asked, hands on her hips and a look of annoyance on her face. "Practice is the only way to get better."

"She's right Tsuna." Reborn agreed. "Besides if it were me you'd be doing 1000 practice problems instead."

She stared at Tsuna with a questioning look. "I've been meaning to ask you this, but you don't have any siblings right? Because this kid doesn't look anything like you."

"I'm his home tutor." replied the child.

"He means cousin!" Tsuna blurted out, obviously flustered.

"Okay?" she raised a brow. She felt no need to pry any further after witnessing his reaction. "Let's just move onto the next problem."

A few hours had passed and Tsuna was actually getting the hang of it. Michiko proudly gave herself a mental pat on the back. He was definitely still a work in progress, but hey maybe he could actually score higher than a 50 on this test.

"It's getting late Tsuna-kun. I should get home soon." Kyoko spoke up, packing her bag.

Michiko looked over at the clock. It was already 7 and the sun was starting to set. She had told her mom that she would be home by dinner. Everyone decide it was time to leave and packed their bags, heading out the door.

"It's not safe to go home alone." the toddler spoke up.

Michiko looked around to see that while Gokudera, Yamamoto, and Kyoko were going towards the left, she was the only one going to the right.

"Tsuna." he looked over to the boy. "You should take her home. It's the least you could do for helping you study."

Michiko frowned. Just when she thought she could've gotten some peace and quiet.

"I could take her home." Yamamoto volunteered.

If she could look any more displeased with how this situation was playing out, she was sure they still wouldn't realize how frustrated she was.

"No Tsuna can do it." responded Reborn "It would be troublesome for you to walk in the opposite direction of your house. You should get home and make sure you remember everything for the test tomorrow."

In that case wouldn't it make more sense to have Gokudera see her off? He was the only one of the boys who she was certain would pass. Tsuna definitely was still not ready; he needed a lot more work.

"Sawada still needs to prep for the test too. I'm really fine going home alone. Bye!" Michiko hurriedly walked away from the scene, firm in her thoughts of not wanting to spend any more time with them than necessary.

A week after the study session, the teacher was finally giving the tests back. Michiko gave a complacent smirk at the 100 on her paper. She knew she aced it.

"Juudaime how'd you do?" Her ears perked at the sound of Gokudera's voice. She snuck a glance and saw the deadly look on his face.

"That girl barely did anything!" he said with a click of his tongue, sliding the paper back to Tsuna.

Mcihiko raised her brows. She didn't do anything? Last time she had checked, this kid was getting 20s on his test. How could he possibly be doing any worse after she had tutored him? She shifted in her chair, struggling to peek over. She squinted getting a look at the number in the corner.

She held back the urge to growl at Gokudera. Tsuna had scored a 60 on his math test this time. A 60. It wasn't passing but it was three times as much as his usual grade and Gokudera had the nerve to say she barely did anything? She did a lot more than he did.

Yamamoto noticed Michiko glaring towards them and smiled, holding up his paper. "Yo, class rep!"

She looked up at his paper and saw he scored in the high 80s. She got two hopelessly dumb students to score decently on a test. If that didn't show how amazing she was, she didn't know what would.

"We should study together again. Tsuna and I might not have to take remedial classes at this rate." he laughed.

The very thought of another study group made Michiko nauseous. Maybe she should've let them fail….

As Michiko walked home, she could hear the annoying trio not too far away. Gokudera's shouting, Yamamoto's laughing, and Tsuna's shrieking. Why was it that no matter how much she tried to avoid them she would just keep running into them? It didn't help that they were all in the same class. Maybe if she waited until the year ends, she'd be lucky enough to get placed in a different class.

"Ciaossu."

Michiko looked down to see none other than the suit wearing toddler. It wasn't even a surprise how often she saw him. If it wasn't those three, it was him. Why couldn't people just leave her alone?

"If you're looking for those three, they're over there you know." She pointed towards them, hoping that would be the end of the conversation. As she walked away, she noticed him trailing behind her.

"Actually I wanted to talk to you." he replied.

"And what could you possibly want to talk to me about?" she raised a brow.

"Yamamoto and Tsuna showed a lot of improvement after that last study session. I want you to tutor the two of them."

She grimaced. Tutoring the very people she disliked, what a way to spend her days. "No offense, but I thought you were supposed to be Sawada's tutor. That was what you claimed yesterday after all. Is this how you skimp out on your supposed job?"

"I am his tutor. I'm teaching him how to be the tenth mafia boss of the Vongola. The less time he spends in remedial classes, the more time he can spend becoming a better Mafioso."

Michiko had been joking with her earlier statement, but the toddler responded in a serious tone. She figured the mafia comment was his way of teasing her. The kid did have a smirk on his face when Yamamoto had her flustered. Besides kids always did have an overactive imagination.

"Sawada and the mafia. A mafia boss at that. Why pick him? He doesn't seem to be cut out for it." she asked, deciding to play along. Why not let the kid have his fun?

"Why do you think he needs a tutor?"

"Well aren't you a snarky one." she muttered. "I'm gonna assume the same goes for Yamamoto?"

"That's right."

She stopped walking and turned around to face him. "Okay, say I do go along with this. What exactly is in it for me? I wouldn't say I enjoy their company."

He smirked. "Kobayashi Michiko, wouldn't you want to take this opportunity to get closer to Yamamoto?"

She choked, gagging at the very sound of Yamamoto's name. Did he hear her wrong? What part of don't enjoy their company wasn't self-explanatory? And how exactly did this baby know her name? As far as she could recall, everyone just called her class rep.

"So what's your answer?" he prodded.

She blinked before frowning at him. "I don't want to spend any more time than necessary with either of them, so I'm gonna have to say no."

"Are you sure?" his smirk still ever so present. "The look on your face would prove otherwise."

Her lips thinned into a fine line as she glared down at the child. He was definitely referring to the red tint on her cheeks. It wasn't Michiko's fault Yamamoto, as annoying as he was, was also extremely attractive. Attractive people make others blush, it happens to everyone. It was definitely nothing more than that. No way in hell.

"If I am blushing it is not because of any feelings towards Yamamoto. I am blushing because I am embarrassed that you could even insinuate that would possibly hold any type of romantic feelings for him." she hissed out, emphasizing her words. "Besides you're a toddler how would you even know about these things? On top of that, how do you know my name?"

"I have my ways. Anyways what if I said we'd pay you?"

Now that intrigued her Money was always a game changer. It is pretty hard to resist to most things, if someone brings money into the equation.

"Deal." she replied, the two of them shaking on it.

Dear diary,

I just willingly accepted to make my life a living hell.

Ass for the slight Yamamoto shipping, he is attractive and I like his dynamic as a character. Tsuna still likes Kyoko and Yamamoto is attractive, so a simple crush isn't a big deal. The end game is still Tsuna X OC.

Hope you enjoyed! Please review!
