Black Sister landed on the balcony to Planeptune's Basilicom. She was greeted by Rom and Ram who were waiting for her to get to the nation.
"About time," voiced Ram.
Black Sister released her transformation and apologized, "Sorry. I just had to check up on my sister."
"H-How is she?" questioned Rom.
Uni smiled, "She's doing well."
"That is good to hear," said Rom.
"Come on, guys, I can hear the shouting from out here," called out Ram.
The three candidates entered the basilicom to see two women shouting at each other. One being the secretary of Planeptune and the other being the oracle of Lastation. They didn't even notice the CPU candidates entering the office.
"We should be taking care of the monsters that are invading the city!" shouted Lenna.
"That is already under control, we should be rebuilding the shelters." stated Kei.
"Are you out of your mind! We should ensure the safety around Planeptune first before any rebuilding!"
"Do you want our people to live on the street for another night!?" countered the oracle.
"They can stay in the basilicom!"
"There's barely any room! We need to start repairing the buildings and streets, now!"
"If we repair it now, the monsters will just ruin everything again!" reasoned the blonde.
"The military has it under control!"
"Half of Planeptune's military is dead!"
"Well same for Lastation!"
The candidate watched as the two adults in the room bickered back and forth.
"How long has this been going on?" Ram asked.
"I can see why Vert asked us to come help," said Uni.
"Um… Miss Kei, Miss Lenna?" Rom called out. "Please stop arguing?"
The two didn't hear the older white candidate and began to shout colorful names at each other. Some that aren't safe for children's ears.
Uni groaned as she rolled her eyes. "I know Kei can be a bit tough, but seriously?"
"Lenna as well. She acts like Histoire when Neptune slacks," Ram chuckled.
"We should really stop them…" Rom whispered.
Lenna and Kei began to start pulling on each other's hair. Uni figured that it was time to step in before anyone gets hurt. "Alright! Alright, break it up, children!" The black candidate pushed the two women apart and said, "That's enough."
Kei was shocked to see the candidate. "Lady Uni?"
Lenna only repeated what Uni had called them. "Children?"
"Yes," Uni claimed. "You two were acting like children. And here I thought Rom and Ram were the only children in the room."
Ram took offense to that. "Hey!"
Uni gave the twins an apologetic look, "Sorry."
"What are you three even doing here? I thought you were all staying in Leanbox?" questioned Lenna.
"Vert has asked us to come help out since you two have been bickering on what should be done first," answered Uni.
Both Lenna and Kei blushed in embarrassment. "Oh."
Uni sighed, "Since you two have finally calmed down, why don't you tell us what needs to be done, so we can figure out what to do first."
"Yeah, we can totally figure this out better than you two," claimed Ram.
Lenna and Kei looked at each other and then back at the candidates.
"D-Don't be shy…" Rom whimpered.
Lenna and Kei didn't hold back as they bombarded the candidates with lists of things to be done around Planeptune. They went on and on, talking over each other that it became hard for the candidates to actually hear what needs to be done.
Ram groaned, "Ugh! This will take awhile."
Uni sighed, "You said it."
Rom hesitantly smiled, "A-At least they're not fighting anymore?"

Rei bit her thumbnail as she glared at the ground. She could still feel the injuries in her body that were inflicted by the Black CPU. Her anger and frustration continued to grow as she replayed the battle in her head.
"Damn you, Black Heart…" Rei snapped her nail, causing it to bleed. "I'm gonna kill you… I'm gonna kill you!"
"I haven't seen you this angry since White Heart kicked you out of Planeptune."
Rei snapped her head towards the small fairy and snarled, "This was also your fault!"
Croire floated back as Rei pointed at her. "Whoa! Chill man. It's not my fault Black Heart whipped your ass."
"If you had warned me about what my counterpart was doing I would've held off my attack."
"Hey, I tried alright, but you already started."
"Tch!" Rei scoffed as she went back to chewing the nail on her thumb. "How long will it take for me to be back in full power?"
Croire shrugged, "Eh, not sure. Maybe a few days since she's doing pretty well. Maybe you should use that time to heal those injuries?"
Rei could feel the anger boiling up to her head. Just the fact that she got tossed around by Black Heart infuriated her. "I will get my revenge… Just you wait, I'm coming for you, Black Heart!"

Noire let out a loud sneeze that caused Blanc to flinch. The black CPU sniffled and apologized, "Sorry about that."
The black goddess decided to check up on the Lowee CPU. She was informed that Blanc had awoken last night and was thrilled to interact with her again. She sat in a chair near the bed while Blanc had to stay on her back for a better recovery.
"You aren't catching a cold, are you?" asked the White goddess.
Noire rolled her eyes, "You know full well that we can't catch colds."
Blanc smiled, "Well, I'm glad one of us is in good health."
"Are you talking about Vert? Because she's the only one that's not stuck in the hospital."
"That lucky cow."
Noire couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah. But I'm really glad to see you awake. I didn't really see how you were the first time you were brought into Leanbox, but you look less like a mummy than how Vert described you."
Blanc scoffed, "She worries too much. Funny, since she never worries."
"Guess seeing you in that state really gave her a scare." Noire looked down at Blanc's arms to see it still wrapped up. She already knew that the rest of her body was the same.
"Well, at least I don't have wrappings all over my face now. That was a pain to deal with," said the white goddess.
"Honestly, I didn't think you'd be the first to go down though."
Blanc groaned, "Please don't rub it in my face."
"I could, but I won't. I didn't do much against Rei either." Noire glanced down at her hands. If Uranus didn't help, I'd probably be in Blanc's position too…
Blanc noticed the sullen expression on the black CPU's face and decided to change the subject. "So how was your talk with Neptune? You called her this morning, right?"
The other goddess looked up from her lap and nodded, "Yeah, I did. She's doing well. I even got to bond with one of her friends."
Blanc raised an eyebrow, "Our counterparts?"
"No, it was a goddess named Plutia," corrected Noire. "Apparently she's the goddess of Planeptune in the other dimension."
"So there's not another Neptune in the other dimension?" Blanc asked.
"Hmm… Not that I was told off…" Noire answered.
"Well, that's a shame." Blanc smirked, "I wonder how you would react if there was another Neptune."
"I will only love the Neptune that is from this dimension, Blanc."
"Really? You don't want a threesome?"
Noire blushed, "Blanc!"
The white goddess giggled, "Sorry, I just had to know."
Noire huffed as she crossed her arms, "It better not be for your stupid story again."
Blanc slightly glanced away, as she had said nothing of denial or conformation.
"Blanc?"
"Nothing," claimed the white goddess. "I wasn't thinking about anything."
"I will wrap your face back up in bandages again."
"Wow, threatening," Blanc chuckled.
Noire only rolled her eyes.
"So… You think we'll be out of this hospital before Rei attacks?"
Noire looked down at her fingers as she thought about her condition. "I don't know… but we have to."
Blanc frowned as she stared up at the white ceiling. "I never saw Vert so stressed out…"
Noire nodded in agreement. "She went through a lot. Physically, mentally and emotionally too."
"You could say the same for us too."
"Yeah…"
Blanc huffed, "Neptune sure has it nice. Not needing to worry about this…"
"You can't just assume that Neptune doesn't have any problems to deal with," Noire voiced.
"At least she isn't being hunted down like we are," Blanc grumbled. "Don't defend her, you know we both could've died."
Noire frowned, "But that's not Neptune's fault."
"Right…" Blanc clenched her hands as she glared at the ceiling. "It's our fault because we're weak."
Noire bit her lower lip, not denying the other CPU.
"I was humiliated," Blanc said. "Scared… I was so scared of dying. Never have I felt so terrified in my life. The Console War couldn't even compare to the fear I felt." Blanc lifted her hand up to see it shaking. "I felt so weak… so useless…"
Noire only listened silently.
Blanc smacked her hand back down against the bed. "I have given up my duty as a goddess!" Blanc squeezed her eyes shut as tears formed. "I pushed my problems onto Rom and Ram and gave up the fight. I'm such a coward… choosing death over fighting…"
Noire took a deep breath and reached out, taking Blanc's hand into her own. "You're not alone. There are times when I feel like giving up too. But it's because of you and everyone else that I can keep going."
Blanc scoffed, "You don't get it. I felt relieved."
Noire gave the white CPU a confused look.
"Was happy…" Blanc whispered. "I felt mad that I couldn't protect my nation, but deep down… I felt happy that my reign was gonna be over." The white goddess gritted her teeth in guilt as she remembered the desperate look on her younger sisters. "I was at peace with myself. I was okay with dying to Rei Ryghts…" Blanc clenched her other hand so hard that her fingernails dug into her skin, drawing blood. "I hate myself… I fucking hate myself!"
"Blanc…"
"I'm such a coward! How can I leave Rom and Ram alone in this cruel world?! What was wrong with me?!" Blanc growled. "I want revenge, Noire. I want to fucking kill Rei Ryghts for humiliating me. For making me feel this way. For making me into a coward…" Blanc took in a deep breath and exhaled. "I don't even want to look at Rom or Ram because of such guilt I'm feeling. For even thinking about leaving them alone. For even thinking about giving them this responsibility that they're not ready for…"
Noire shook her head as she tightened her hand around Blanc's. "They are strong girls, Blanc. They may be only a year old, but they are your candidates. They won't blame you if you felt happy to step down. Even I felt like that sometimes…" Noire frowned, knowing she had also almost given up if it wasn't for Uranus. "Sometimes I thought that it was my time to go as well. I thought Uni could do it. I thought she was ready. I would feel guilty sometimes for even thinking about leaving my sister behind, my friends and Neptune…" Noire sighed as she gave Blanc a knowing smile, "So you're not alone. I guess that would also make me a coward too…"
Blanc turned her head to look at Noire's red eyes. She wasn't lying and she wasn't making anything up to make the white goddess feel better. Noire actually felt like that and Blanc can see it.
The white CPU returned her smile, "Guess we both are…"
Author's Note
A bit on the short side for this chapter, sorry everyone. I haven't been very motivated to write lately and there's a big reason for that. I don't want to admit it, but I don't want to lie about it. Guys, I'm stuck knee deep in the hololive rabbit hole.
My youtube have been taken over by vtubers, my art has been taken over by vtubers, my computer has been taken over by vtubers. Even my work and sleep schedule has been taken over by vtubers. My entire life now revolves around Vtubers and I'm now scared of myself! I'm so glad I'm poor because if I was rich I'd be pouring all my money into their superchats!
Yep, so that's what's been going on in my life. I am quite disappointed in myself, but do I regret it? Nope! I am perfectly happy to simp for these amazing content creators.
Anyway, hopefully I'll see you all in the next update! Thank you for reading XD
