Disclaimer: I don't own Blue Exorcist or Winx Club, only my OC's and plot.

Summary: "Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong...or at least that's what it seemed like at first. But after I've actually been here for a while it seems more like fate wants to make one guy's life a bit better...either that or the Ethereal Fairies have a really twisted sense of humour." - Blue Exorcist/Winx Club Crossover -

So I realise that I am a complete idiot.

Let me clarify:

In 2016, my work laptop went FUBAR.

College work? GONE.
Story notes? GONE.
The three chapters I had written at that point. GONE

As a precaution, I now use Google Docs, so should me computer ever stab me in the back like that again, nothing will be lost.

'Okay', I hear you asking, 'How does this make you an idiot?'

Well, you see...I picked up the story again, and completed chapters 13 and 14 last year. AND THEN COMPLETELY FORGOT TO POST THEM HERE.

Feel free to clap sarcastically and throw things at me. I deserve that for such an epic feat of idiocy.

Last Time:

"Wait a second..." Clara smiled "On Earth, there is a culture almost identical to Melody's."

"There is?" Amanda asked, now smiling slightly as Clara grabbed her laptop.

They both watched as she opened files, which included some pictures, videos and maps

"Yeah." Clara answered as she pointed at one of the maps "It's called 'Asian' over there, and found mostly in this region of Earth."

Magic & Exorcism

Chapter 13: Voile, the Magic Library

True Cross Academy Library:

"Hey!"

Bianca, who was scouring the language section for something new to read, looked up to see Yuuka and Shizuka.

"What're your plans for the holiday?" Yuuka asked

"I don't have any." Bianca replied "I'm staying here."

"What?!" Yuuka exclaimed, albeit in a whisper as to avoid the head librarian taking her head off "That's not cool! Not at all!"

"Y-yeah." Shizuka nodded fiercely "S-summer should b-be spent with f-friends and family!"

Bianca attempted to smile, but it came out quite poor

"You see, my family..." she started, not really sure what to say "They...they're very busy this summer...so I won't be able to see them."

"Oh, honey!" Yuuka crooned as she hugged her friend "You know what, we'll give our parents a call and ask if you could spend the holiday with us."

"Y-you really don't have to." Bianca interjected "I really don't want to impose."

"Don't worry, my parents won't mind one bit." she winked

"And n-neither would m-mine." Shizuka smiled

"T-thank you, r-really." Bianca smiled nervously as the three of them made their way back to the main reading are "But I'll be fine."

They turned the corner, just narrowly avoiding bumping into someone.

"Miss Valerio." Mephisto greeted giving her his Cheshire cat grin.

"P-principal!" she exclaimed, smiling nervously "I didn't see you there."

"I am pleased to inform you that you've been invited to a special event." his already huge grin grew as he handed her a small card

"Thank you very much, Sir." Bianca gave the sweetest smile she could, trying very hard to force down whatever snarky comment she was about to utter. Why the heck was the clown inviting her to stuff? Hadn't he told her to just spend extra time on practicing her magic and combat that very morning?

"I look forward to your reply!" Mephisto exclaimed, being over-dramatic and bold as always, before practically waltzing out of the library

Bianca just sighed heavily as she opened the card. She couldn't help but scowl at the use of what she could only describe as diabetes inducing colours. Scowling she held the invitation up for the other two to read "...what the heck is this even?"

"Oooh..." Yuuka hummed, "That's a rarity."

"Oh, w-wow..." Shizuka gasped "I-I thought this was just a m-myth."

"A myth?" Bianca questioned "So what is it exactly?"

"No one really knows much about it." Yuuka explained "Only that it's a special event that happens every summer holiday, and that it's only for a select few talented people, handpicked by the principal."

"Ah..." Bianca nodded

"Guess your summer will be spent here after all."

Malacoy Paladin Academy – Girls' Dorm:

"Hey, I think I have something!" Erica called

Clara and Amanda jumped up from the couch they had both flopped onto in exhaustion earlier, and rushed to Erica.

"What is it?"

"If I interpret this right, it seems that she's finishing the first trimester of a school year."

"The first? And a trimester?" Clara frowned "That's unusual."

"Yeah…" Amanda said in thought "We're finishing our school year now."

"Unless…" Clara rushed back to her laptop and started typing furiously.

After searching a few dozen websites, she started grinning.

"You found something, I take?" Amanda asked

"Yup." Clara stated enthusiastically as she pointed on the map "I've narrowed the search area down to one country."

"Japan?" Amanda read

"The only place that would have the first trimester ending around now." Clara beamed.

"Ni~ce." Amanda grinned.

True Cross Academy Library:

Bianca had just started packing her things to go to cram school when her phone vibrated. She checked it just in case it had something to do with her class, and found that it was indeed Yukio informing everyone that class had been canceled for the day.

Just then she wondered if Yukio might have more info on the Principal's invitation, and sent him a picture of the cursed colourful thing.

- Sir Pheles gave me this earlier. Is it some exorcist related cover up for something? -

She didn't have to wait long to get a reply.

- Yes. That's for the annual training camp and combat mission exam that will take place during the summer holiday.
In the past we've had cases where students' covers were almost blown due to snooping friends and sometimes, even family. -

"Ah, I see." she smirked "Good one Mephisto"

Now realising she had nothing to do, wandered into the literature section.

"You aren't going to extra lessons?" Yuuka asked curiously as she noted the blonde.

"It just got canceled, so guess I'm stuck here with you guys." Bianca said a jest.

"I see." Yuuka chuckled, "Well, make yourself at home."

"Any recommendations?" Bianca asked "I'm in need of inspiration."

"Hmmm...give me a moment." Yuuka pushed the ladder a few shelves down, climbed up and quickly returned with a book.

"I know you said your French isn't very good yet, but I've heard good things about this one." Yuuka explained as she handed her the book.

"Poetry?" Bianca murmured as she flipped through the book "Interesting. Thanks."

"You're welcome." Yuuka bowed dramatically. "Holler if you need anything."

"Will do."

She took her seat on one of the comfy couches, and started on the book. While she still struggled with the language a bit, she did find the poems quite enjoyable.

"Is that...a French book?" she peeked over the pages to find Suguro standing in front of her. Shima and Miwa were found a few paces away, looking like they were trying to make sense of the library layout.

"Yup." she answered before taking her focus back to the book "It's poetry, in case you were wondering."

"Huh…" Suguro murmured "Didn't know you spoke it."

"I'm still learning, but it's not too hard as it shares roots with Italian." she replied, not looking up from the pages "Though, language is probably the only thing I'm actually good at."

"I thought you were good at music."

"Music is also a language." she shrugged

"Touché"

She went back to her book, and read only a few pages before Suguro was back.

"Yes?" she asked, resisting the urge to roll her eyes.

"Any idea where I might find a decent floorplan or an assistant?"

"Give me a minute." she sighed and went back to the section Yuuka was last.

"Yuu?"

"Yo?" Yuuka's head popped around the corner, "Not enjoying the book?"

"I'm enjoying it. I think you might know me better than I know myself." she winked, which made Yuuka giggle. Bianca then turned to the three boys, "Though I think they are a bit lost."

"Oh MY GOSH!" Yuuka almost squealed, "That's Ryūji Suguro!"

"So?" Bianca asked with a raised eyebrow.

"It's Ryūji Suguro." she flailed her arms for dramatic effect.

"I don't get why all the girls obsess over him so much." Bianca sighed, "He's really an ass most of the time."

"Wait...you say that as if you're acquainted?" Yuuka gave her a scrutinizing look.

"They take those extra curriculars with me, so yeah."

Yuuka's jaw practically dropped.

"If you want, I can go as emotional support, or whatever." Bianca offered

"I'll be grateful if you did…" she laughed nervously, as they made their way to the boys.

"Guys, this is Yuuka Akiyama." Bianca introduced her when they reached the group

"Hi." Yuuka grinned nervously "I'm in the library club. Please don't hesitate to ask for anything."

"Oooh a cutie." Shima grinned, much to his friend's chagrin.

"Shima, try anything and I swear I will gut you." Bianca's words were razor sharp.

"Bianca-chan, you're so mean." he pouted.

"Only because you flirt with everything that wears a skirt." she deadpanned. "You are a monk for goodness sake."

"S-sooo…" Yuka started nervously "How can I help you."

"I'm looking for Japanese literature?" Miwa asked

"That's the section this way." Yuuka pointed in the direction she and Bianca had just come from.

"And religion?" Suguro asked.

"That's in the opposite direction, on the other side of this hall." Yuuka

"I can take him there." Bianca offered

"Bianca-chan, you really don't have to." Yuuka reassured her "But if you really don't mind, go ahead."

Bianca shrugged and started walking.

"Make sure he doesn't try anything stupid." Suguro whispered to Miwa in a heavy sigh before following Bianca through a sea of shelves.

"You frequent the library?" Suguro asked her as they made their way through the isles. "Seeing as you navigate it so easily?"

"Actually." she gave him an odd look "How does one as studious as yourself, not know how to navigate a library?"

"Pardon?"

"It's not that hard." she pointed out, "You just need to know the system that they use."

She stopped at one of the study desks they were passing and grabbed one of the laminated cards from a pile and handed it to him. Flipping it, he found that the non-fiction categories all seemed to have a number assigned to them. [1]

"I suppose, I do frequent the library though.." she shrugged as she kept walking, "Besides Rin, Yuuka and Shizuka were my first friends here, and they're both in the library club."

"Oh."

"Here we are." Bianca announced as she came to a stop "Religion and scripture."

Malacoy Paladin Academy – Girls' Dorm:

"Sooo…where do we even start?" Amanda asked as she looked up from the map, "Even if this place is basically an island, it's huge!"

"I don't know." Clara frowned before looking over to Erica where she was doing another reading "Any new leads?"

"Nothing for now, unfortunately." she sighed "Just a bunch of stuff to do with camping and...oh? Oh..."

"What?" Clara and Amanda practically shouted in unison

"Uh...just some more random stuff..." Erica grinned nervously.

Clara and Amanda gave her an odd look

"Seriously, it's nothing." Erica said, a slight bit more forceful than usual

"Fine." Amanda sighed before leaning back in her seat, "So what do we do now?"

"Why don't we just ask a faculty member to help us?" Erica asked

"You're joking, right?" Amanda deadpanned.

"Think about it." Erica explained "We're stuck, they're stuck."

"Actually it's worth a shot." Clara mused.

"Yeah, and the teachers are going to be totally 100% on board with us." Amanda quipped sarcastically.

"It just depends on who we talk to." Clara stated as she narrowed her eyes in concentration.

The system mentioned is called the Decimal Dewey System, and used for non-fiction sections (older, more traditional literature is counted here, as it's often needed for studies). It goes as follows:

000 – Computer science, information & general works
100 – Philosophy & psychology
200 – Religion
300 – Social sciences
400 – Language
500 – Pure Science
600 – Technology
700 – Arts & recreation
800 – Literature
900 – History & geography

Fiction simply uses Author last name in alphabetical order

Lindi the Librarian out (I'm not kidding, I was a school librarian from 5th to 9th grade) :D
