Disclaimer: I don't own Blue Exorcist or Winx Club, only my OC's and plot.
Summary: "Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong...or at least that's what it seemed like at first. But after I've actually been here for a while it seems more like fate wants to make one guy's life a bit better...either that or the Ethereal Fairies have a really twisted sense of humour." - Blue Exorcist/Winx Club Crossover -
The second chapter I forgot to upload like a complete idiot...
Last Time:
"Why don't we just ask a faculty member to help us?" Erica asked
"You're joking, right?" Amanda deadpanned.
"Think about it." Erica explained "We're stuck, they're stuck."
"Actually it's worth a shot." Clara mused.
"Yeah, and the teachers are going to be totally 100% on board with us." Amanda quipped sarcastically.
"It just depends on who we talk to." Clara stated as she narrowed her eyes in concentration.
Magic & Exorcism
Chapter 14: A fun camping trip
Malacoy Academy - Faculty Lounge:
"I see…"
Professor Avalon was silent for a while, seeming like he's taking a moment to register everything the three girls had just told him. [1]
"So...what do we do now?" Amanda asked after a few minutes of silence.
"For now, you three should get to bed." he stated as he noted the time, "It's pretty late."
"Ah, right." Clara sighed.
"I'll see what I can come up with for now." he informed the three girls as they got up to leave the room, "We'll speak about the matter again in the morning."
"Yes Professor."
"And girls, thank you for the information." he smiled as he let them out of the room.
"Are you sure this was the right thing to do?" Amanda asked as they left for their dorms.
"I think so…" Clara sighed "...I hope."
True Cross Academy - Lowest Level Forested Zone:
"I've never gone camping before!" Shiemi practically beamed excitedly next to Bianca as the group neared the forest.
"Me neither." Rin added "I'm so excited!"
"How about Bianca-chan?" Shiemi asked.
"A few times with my family." she answered.
"What are they like?" Shiemi asked "Your family?"
"You want to know about my family?" she cocked her head. [2]
"Totally!" both Shiemi and Rin nodded furiously.
"Ok...What do you want to know?"
"Any siblings?" Rin asked.
"A brother, a year older than myself." she nodded "His name is Davin."
"What's he like?" Rin asked
"He's the best big brother ever! No offence." she winked at Rin.
"None taken." he laughed "Every little sister should think her big brother is the best."
"He's really sweet and kind." she continued, "...in fact, the only time I've ever seen him actually get mad was when a kid in our neighborhood pushed me into a mud puddle when we were little"
"Awww…" Rin cood "He sounds awesome."
"I suppose my cousin, Carmen, also counts as a big sister too in a way." she smiled softly "She's always been there for us. Well, at least when she wasn't getting herself in trouble with all the silly pranks she likes to pull."
"What are your parents like?" Shiemi asked
"Awesome." she beamed "My dad's probably the most determined and willful man I know. I've been told that I got my stubborn side from him. My mom's the type of person who everyone likes no matter what."
Bianca noted that Rin suddenly seemed slightly less cheerful than his usual self. He was still smiling brightly, but she could pick up that it was slightly forced
"I'm sorry…" Bianca smiled at him sadly.
"Don't be." Rin reassured her "Don't feel bad about talking about your family just because of my past."
"Ok…"
After arriving at the edge of the forest, they were each issued with camping bags. The guys were also given camping gear to carry in addition to their issued bags. Suguro made an offhand comment about it feeling more like a soldier's march than a camp, to which Bianca was inclined to agree.
"How…" Suguro panted after a while, "How is he still so energetic?"
"Dunno…" Shima drawled as he dabbed his forehead
'Lucky devil.' Bianca thought enviously as she watched Rin practically prance around as if he wasn't carrying a giant backpack filled with camping equipment up a mountain.
When they finally reached their campsite, everyone (except Rin) collapsed. After a brief moment to catch their breaths, Yukio announced that they will be split into two groups.
The guys were instructed to set up camp and make a campfire while the girls were put in charge of the protective charms and circles around camp, and to make dinner. Bianca desperately hoped that Izumo and Shiemi knew how to cook, because she knew if it were up to her, they'd be serving charcoal for dinner.
The magic circles were completed in no time, which meant the dreaded task of cooking was upon them.
To Bianca's utter dismay, it appeared that the other two girls were just as useless as she was at the culinary arts, and she felt her soul dying just a little.
She fumbled nervously as she tried to chop some of the vegetables, and nearly sliced her hand open.
"Bianca-chan!" Shiemi exclaimed in concern, "Please be careful."
"Why couldn't they just divide the tasks up by skill, instead of gender?" she grumbled.
"You seriously think any of those buffoons would do any better?" Izumo scoffed.
"You'd be surprised." Bianca winked, to which Izumo responded with a weird look.
All the while she worked, Bianca kept looking over at Rin, her eyes pleading for him to get her out of this predicament.
Rin, to her great relief, did eventually notice.
"I just can't stand watching this any more." Rin muttered and got up from the fire and walked over to the cooking station.
"Please tell me you're here to save the damsels in distress from the terrible, scary kitchen?" she asked hopefully when he reached them.
"Rin, your knight in shining armour has arrived." he announced dramatically with a playful grin
"WE'RE SAVED!" Bianca exclaimed, throwing her arms up in joy which caused Shiemi and Izumo to jump at the sudden outburst "I thought I was GONNA DIE!"
"Oh, come on..." Rin chuckled, as he washed his hands "...cooking isn't that hard."
"Easy for you to say, Okumura." she quipped.
Rin laughed wholeheartedly, as he started prepping his station.
"Are you sure this is ok?" Izumo whispered next to her.
"Of course." Bianca grinned "He might not look like it, but he really is a master chef"
"Huh..." Izumo hummed, for once looking completely baffled "Who'd have thought?"
Rin was quick to start on a curry base, and while he waited for the food to simmer on the stove, assisted the girls on smaller tasks. Shiemi and Izumo made a salad, and with Rin's help Bianca managed to cook a pot of rice without setting the small gazebo that they were under ablaze. She wondered if she was improving, or if Rin was just that good at playing Executive Chef. [3]
"Thank you for your hard work everyone." Rin beamed as they were finishing up.
"No, thank you, Rin!" Bianca countered "We don't know what we'd have done without you."
Shiemi and Izumo both nodded in agreement.
"Oh...thank...you?" he grinned sheepishly at the compliment.
Malacoy Academy - Faculty Office
Clara, Amanda and Erica were waiting in the hall outside of the Headmaster's office. They had just finished breakfast when they were called to appear in front of the Headmaster.
"We. Are. Dead." Amanda hissed "And it's your fault."
"You're overexaggerating." Clara sighed "Why would we get in trouble just for telling the teachers that we might know where she is?"
"Exactly" Erica agreed "Headmaster Cuan might just want more information."
Professor Avalon appeared shortly afterwards. He knocked on the door gently, and after getting the ok, opened the door. He let the trio go in ahead of him before he followed and closed the door behind him.
The Headmaster's office was quite small and cosy, contrasting with the cathedral like design the rest of the school seemed to have.
"Good morning, girls." Cuan greeted, sitting behind his oak desk.
"Morning Headmaster." the girls greeted in unison.
"So I suppose you three are probably wondering why I've called you here this morning." he spoke in his usual gentle tone "Don't worry, you're not in trouble."
"See, I told you." Clara whispered and Amanda sighed in relief
"Uhm, Headmaster, why did you call us?" Erica asked sheepishly.
"Well, why don't you tell them, Professor?" Cuan glanced at Avalon
"I'm going to Earth in an hour, and I want you three to be ready when I leave." Avalon announced.
The three girls just stared at the man in utter shock.
"You're taking us with you?" Amanda asked, "Really?"
"You girls did the right thing." Cuan said with a gentle smile "You could have easily just decided that, since you know where she might be, you can just go find her yourself. Though, instead, you decided to be responsible about it, and talked to us first, which we all find commendable."
"Which is why I'm trusting you to assist me in this." Avalon added, "You three girls managed what all us faculty couldn't, which tells me your skills might be vital in finding her."
[1]
I can't remember whether I've mentioned it before, but this takes place roughly a year or two before Bloom and Stella meet, hence Avalon is still teaching at Malacoy (which was mentioned as the previous school he taught at when he transferred to Alfea).

Due to my old notes all being GONE, I'd actually forgotten much of the details I'd originally had planned for Bianca's family members. Well, I found a slither of good news when I discovered that I had made them in Sims 4 a few years ago. Because I had uploaded it to the Sims 4 gallery at some point, I actually had something to work off [/phew]
That said, If you play Sims 4, I've uploaded the families of Bianca, Yuuka and Shizuka to the Sims 4 Gallery (My Origin ID is also LindiOutOfAfrica)

Not sure how many people might know about kitchen hierarchy in the culinary profession, so...
An Executive Chef would be the equivalent of a site manager in a professional setting. It's generally up to them to make menus and they have a supervision role over station chefs (for example the pastry chef, AKA the chef in charge of bread, cake and desserts)
