Notes:

The story is really starting to move along now.

I actually wrote 4 chapters yesterday. It is the next day now. I was going to just upload the first chapter but I was in the mood to write so I started writing the other chapters and I completed four of them. I'm so used to writing like 6000 words per chapter because of another fanfiction I'm writing that I keep making these chapters longer and longer than what they used to be.

But I guess that's no problem to y'all readers who probably are fiending for new chapters since I've been making can you wait for so long.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

I was stuck for so long about what to do but I figured out how they can defeat the wild Hunt and everything so this will be pretty nice and interesting. And then we can get back into the real story. Soon it'll be soon. Also, I'm going to be updating a lot of chapters in these next few days but it's not going to be that quickly all the time. It'll go back to a normal schedule after I get over this Arc. Because then I actually have to think about it again.

Damon POV:

"Fuck~," I say, waking up.

"Where am I?" I say out loud again.

It was dark and musty. The smell was weird; it smelt like an old dusty house that hadn't been used in decades. I would know; I've been in enough of them. I stood no worse for wear; I didn't even feel hurt at all; I must've been out for a while then. I walk along a long corridor... no tunnel. It was made of brick and looked old.

I wonder where the hell I was taken.

I walked for five minutes before I saw some light in the distance. I walked faster, and once I entered the light, I saw a train station.

Am I underground?

Huh, I thought their secret base would be cooler.

As I take notice of the rest of the room, I notice all the other people.

"Holy hell! That's a lot of freaking people." I said, staring at the 100-plus people just sitting around.

I walked up to one lady,

"Hey, what's going on?" I ask.

"Oh, hello, I'm just waiting." The lady says, smiling.

"Waiting? For what?" I ask, I mean, what could you wait for in an abandoned train station? It's not like trains ran here anymore.

"Ha, that's funny." The lady said, laughing.

"What's funny?" I ask, confused.

The lady looked at me like I was stupid for asking, "I'm waiting for the train. We are at a train station, duh." The lady says, looking up at the time schedule.

I look as well and frown; there were no times listed, just destinations. I didn't recognize any of these places.

"Where exactly are you going?" I ask, frowning.

"Oh well, hmmm...uhm... I'm waiting for the train." The lady says, deflecting the question.

"Ooooookayyyyy...right." I stop talking to the lady.

I look around and scan the crowd. I was looking for Stiles. Or the little witchy.

I see Bonnie first, but I keep looking around.

But Stiles wasn't anywhere.

I looked around some more, even calling his name out but nothing.

"Well, that's just freaking great." I sigh.

I walk forward. I made a beeline for Bonnie, but I accidentally knocked someone on the floor.

"Ah...oops," I said, plaining to ignore the guy and keep going, but I recognized him; I'd seen a picture of him in Stiles' house.

A younger version of the person but the same person.

"Hey...uh...sheriff," I say, basing it on his uniform.

Stiles' dad looks up at me, not recognizing me.

"Yes?" he asks.

"Are you Stiles' dad?" I ask just to make sure.

The guy looks surprised and suddenly looks like life came back into him.

"Yes...why, where is my son?" He asks, looking around frantically.

"Uhh...I don't know. He was supposed to be here with me, but I can't find him." I said, taking another quick look.

"Supposed to? What does that mean?" The sheriff says, panicking.

"Well, we had a plan to get caught on purpose, and we did that really successfully. But since I woke up, I haven't seen him. I did get captured first, though; he could come along soon." I said, unsure, but I hoped so too.

"Oh, okay, good, right...well, where were you going then?" The sheriff asks, looking in the original direction I was walking.

"Oh yeah, Bonnie!" I say, walking up to the lil witch.

"Hey!" I said in her face.

Bonnie startles, shocked, and falls down.

"Damon? What the hell are you doing here?" she asks.

"Well, I came to save you. But instead, I became bait." I said, annoyed still by this dumb plan.

"Oh, well, you must know what happened to us then if you became bait, right?" Bonnie asked, having been captured herself, but she came to Beacon Hills not knowing anything about the dangers there.

"Yeah, I guess, I honestly don't really get it, but they are these creepy cowboy-looking, horse-riding things called Ghost Riders. They are here to erase the town off the face of the map, and once you get taken, everyone outside forgets you exist. We haven't exactly figured out how to stop it, but we were supposed to work on figuring that out while on the inside, while the others figure that out on the outside." I explained. "On the outside? You mean Scott and Kira?" Bonnie asks. "No, I don't know who that is. I'm working with Lydia, a guy called Rei, and Stiles." I said.

"Stiles? He's here? I mean here with us!" Bonnie says, looking around.

"Nope, he should be, but I can't find him. He was bait with me." I said.

"Wait, why were you both bait." The sheriff asks.

"Well, it was safer that way, and the other two were immune or something. Apparently, Lydia is immune, and that other guy is special in a weird way. So we were the bait." I said again, sighing at it all.

"Which I don't understand because I can't do much without Stiles here unless I maybe try to kill them again. But they're quick and pack a punch, so we may need to team up next fight." I say as an afterthought.

"So my son, he's missing?" The sheriff clarifies.

"Well, kind of, but I don't know when I got here, and I didn't wake up in here, so maybe he's waking up and making his way down here. We should wait before jumping to conclusions." I said as the sheriff was really freaking out, and I didn't want Stiles, Peter, Lydia, and Klaus after my ass or accidentally killing Stiles' dad.

"Okay, we'll wait for now." The sheriff said, sitting down and sighing.

"Yeah, let's wait." I agreed.

But I had a bad feeling that this was going to be more difficult than what I signed up for.

Stiles POV:

"Fuck..." I said out loud.

My head was killing me.

"Damon? Are you there?" I called out into the darkness.

But no one answered. Great, we got separated. Just freaking great. I stand up on shaky legs and look around, letting my eyes adjust to the darkness. I see nothing but black emptiness.

"Well, I guess I just pick a direction...and go..." I said out loud to myself.

After that, I just sniffed right, then left. Then I started to walk behind me.

To the right, I smelt a brick wall, and to the left, I smelt another brick wall; and in front of me, I saw that brick wall in the darkness, but behind me, I could feel a current of air whooshing past my hair so there I go.

I walked carefully in the darkness until I saw a room that looked out of place. Finally, there was some light, but it made the room look weird just in the middle of this brick-laid tunnel. I walked towards it anyway; even if it was suspicious, it was better than standing in darkness. I opened the half-glass door and walked into the tiny room. It was covered in dust like it had been abandoned. But the little set up on the desk looked used frequently enough that there was only dust in some places.

When I stepped in and the door closed, I looked back out into the hallway, but it disappeared, I turned to the door, but that was gone too.

"Well, great. I have the shittest luck." I sighed, walking up to the desk.

The rest of the room looked old-fashioned; it was full to the brim with old electronics and random machines. But the desk was more modern, it had an outdated computer and multiple monitors and a really clacky keyboard, but it was way more modern compared to the rest of the room.

I pulled a chair up to the desk and brushed it off only to start coughing roughly from the dust.

"Ughh, that is disgusting," I said, letting everything settle before sitting down gently.

I turned to the computer and looked at the blank, black-out monitor. Hmm. I touched the keyboard, but nothing happened. I looked at the computer and held the power button. I waited 5 seconds and let go seeing the little power symbol glow blue.

"Ha! Hell yeah." I fist-bumped.

"Now lets see, why are you still not working." I sighed after nothing happened.

It took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize that it was working, but the monitor screen was just off.

...

After it turned on, thats when everything turned strange, well, no, this whole thing had been strange, but this was another level of it. I had turned all three monitors on and what I saw was creepy but useful.

One monitor was blinking between the image of Lydia out and about walking around Beacon Hills and the other image was Rei sitting on Lydia's couch, reading the book we had gotten from Lenore.

The next image was of this old fashion train station. There were a lot of people in there, presumably the missing people, but they were just dazed-looking, either standing or sitting with blank looks on their faces.

Well, except for 3 people who were huddled up together talking. I leaned closer to the monitor, and I noticed it was Damon.

"Oh my god."

My dad and Bonnie were also there.

"Thank god." I sighed.

My dad was safe. Well, as long as Damon was there it was fine; he was strong. And even though Bonnie's a psychopath, at least she nice deep deep, deep down inside. And shes also a competent witch, so together, they could protect my dad.

I looked at the final monitor, and it was just flashing between different places. At first, just random places around Beacon Hills.

Then Peter popped up on the screen for a moment.

He was with Klaus, but he was just sadly staring off into space. Klaus looked directly at Stiles, almost as if through the monitor, but the screen switched again.

"Huh...well, this is freaking weird. Totally above my abilities here." I said, staring at all the monitors watching the scene before me.

3 hours later...

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh bleep bloop blahblahblah..." I mumbled out loud, bored out of my freaking mind.

I didn't get hungry, I wasn't really tired, I was just existing and shit. I tried to find another exit, but nothing, it was like I was trapped inside a box.

But it wasn't a normal box, especially because the door disappeared on me as well as the creepy stalker camera/monitor set up. But it also was kind of magical...eh...no, it was weird.

A familiar kind of weird.

If I didn't let myself get captured by the Ghost Riders, I would think something or someone like Rei had captured me again and decided to torment me inside this weird-ass box, room, thing.

It had a similar feeling to Rei's magic or whatever he does. It's like the whole time I've been sitting in this box, and even before that, when I had just woken up, it felt familiar yet different. It was like I knew that I was standing on solid ground, and I knew I was walking in the dark corridor, and I knew I had opened a door into a weird room, but the whole time this was happening, it felt like I was just standing in one place.

It's like my mind was imagining things happening around me, and it wasn't really happening, almost like a hallucination or an illusion.

Yeah, an illusion .

This place felt like it was an illusion or a different dimension, maybe a space pocket or some shit; it felt like it was a place that existed, but anything in the place didn't seem like it was controlled normally.

Partially because of the disappearing doors, the disappearing tunnels, and the weird cameras that could let me see anything I freaking wanted.

It was weird yet familiar.

But I don't understand why I was brought here and not to where Damon was brought?

Or why I was shown these things?

Why was I shown these images of my friends?

I don't understand why I was here?

Why me?

What was so different about me that I was put in the control of this illusion or dimension place?

I say control because when I touch the keyboard, things change. Whether it was a book falling off the table next to Rei or garbage can falling down next to Lydia, or a clock chiming in the train station.

Every single key on the keyboard had an effect in the places that the creepy security camera showed. If that was the case, if this keyboard could affect reality and affect other people, than this was the control room .

But if this was the control room, then why am I here?

What am I supposed to do?

What does the Wild Hunt want me to do?

Notes:

I really apologize for the long wait. I've been glancing at this book for a while even though I haven't written anything. I've also been re-reading it like a ton trying to get my mind back into the vibe of writing it. But it's difficult sometimes. I'm really enjoying writing another fanfiction. I honestly wrote almost 200,000 words for that fan fiction in the time that I haven't been writing this. Plus I had school and stuff. But I definitely don't want to abandon this series or anything like that.

I love my FanFiction as much as you guys like it. I like reading my stories as much as you probably like to read them. I probably read it more than you guys do honestly. So just know that I will never abandon this story or my other stories if they're late with updates it's just that sometimes I just don't want to write about them that particular day or sometimes I just want to be really lazy and watch videos all day. Or read books all day. And more often than not sleep all day.
