On the outskirts of Lititz Heights, the Friendly Scouts of Lititz Heights were at the bug-themed music festival Bugstock. Kirby was with them because Bugstock NSA protected. Leah, Kaylin, Tania, and Paige taking the Friendly Scouts on a bugged-out adventure. Also, Judson came along so he could see what the bug version of Woodstock is like. While Kirby was watching organic cotton candy being made, he heard a "Gna Gna Gna Gna Gna" in a song. Kirby heard the singing and rolled towards a '70s-themed podium.

Onstage, were a blonde guitarist in green, a brunette drummer in red, an African-American keyboardist in yellow, and a light-brunette tambourinist in pink.

By a table, a human-sized firefly was moping around about Bugstock. "What if they find out who we really are?" he whined.

"Easy, Sparky," smiled the guitarist. "You said you wanted to see Lititz Heights after the festival."

"Poyo?" asked Kirby.

"Look at here, I.Q.," said the pink tambourinist. "A little ball bug. He's cute."

"Maybe he could be a backup singer, Joy," suggested the drummer.

"I don't know, Courage," replied the keyboardist. "He has to audition first."

"Your right, Harmony," replied I.Q. "Go on, little bug. Give it a shot."

Unfortunately, Kirby's horrible singing to the "Veggie Tales" song "Show You Love" poisoned their ears. "He's awful," admitted Courage. "I don't think he'd be a good backup singer."

"Kirby!" shouted Leah from the enterance of the tent. "What did we tell you about wandering off?"

"Poyo (Sorry)," Kirby replied as he hopped onto Kirby and pointed to the bug band.

"Your the Bugaloos," recalled Leah. "Our grandma has you guys on video and watched all your episodes."

"Your not just *any* Bugaloos," Tania replied as she observed their wings carefully. "You're the *actual* Bugaloos. No actor playing a bug fairy has wings those shiny. Also, the actors who play you are old."

"That's us," I.Q. replied. "It's smashing what fairy magic can do to get from your world to the Krofftverse."

"What about me?" asked Sparky.

"And we can't forget our groupie, Sparky," I.Q. recalled. "He wanted to go see Lititz Heights after Bugstock."

"Care to watch us rehearse our theme song?" Courage asked. "This is our last one before our main show tonight."

"Sure." answered Tania, "And don't mind our friend, 'Judson' he's taking The Friendly Scouts to a stand for 'The Creepy Critters'.

Just as they were about to perform, a bright light popped out of nowhere and distracted Sparky and the Bugaloos. Following the light, a mysterious figure with feathers was holding a bug zapper. Just as they were about to touch it, Judson kicked it out of the way, "Good thing I took judo lessons as a child," he smiled, "so no fan would mug me."

Quickly, the mysterious figure rushed off.

"Thanks for saving us, mate," smiled I.Q. "One zap and us Bugaloos would be electrocuted."

"The Bugaloos," smiled Judson. "I heard your music before while studying '70s television music."

"We haven't been on telly much since we got cancelled." replied Harmony.

"Judson!" shouted Paige. "Groovy kick there. Normally violence solves nothing, but you wanted to save the main attraction, man."

"I had to," Judson replied. "From my experience in past music festivals, I'd say that someone wants you out of the picture. I've researched the acts last night, and I've picked up two musicians who would be responsible to make you look like twits."

Suspects

The Creepy Critters (Gothic band from Canada) - Creepy apperance and masters of special effects.

Buggy Betty (Granddaughter of Bugstock's founder) - Opened for every Bugstock concert, and got jealous when the Bugaloos were going to be the new act.

Mysterious lady backstage - Leah and Tania thought that she looked familiar.

At the techno division, I.Q. and Tania were looking around for clues when they spotted Buggy Betty going over the Techno act when I.Q. and Tania approached them,

"Hey Betty." I.Q. greeted. "I hope you don't mind, but should we be dancers?"

"Of course," growled Betty. "Harriet and the Hoppy Hoppers are going to be here to have your autograph."

"No, no," replied Tania. "He's saying that we want some answers."

"Whatever," groaned Betty. "If this about the opening for Bugstock, I'm tired of opening for them. First I get some strange napkins with autographs on them, then I get fans hearing rumors of Judson Soul being here."

I.Q. an Tania were concerned because of the napkin autographs and the fear that Judson could get in trouble. Also, they started to think that Betty couldn't have caused their lighting trouble.

Meanwhile, at the pop division, Joy and Kaylin saw Harriet and the Hoppy Hoppers. The brunette leader spotted the other two girls and welcomed them with warm smiles, "I'm Harriet, and these are Alexandra, Brigitte, Eva, and Skylar."

"I know," replied Kaylin. "The contemporary dance troupe from Harrisburg. Don't mind us - we're trying to investigate who's responsible for the Bugaloos' bug-zapping."

"Believe me," replied Harriet. "During our lunch break, we got butted by one of the rudest wannabes we've ever met. She also littered an imported lipstick despenser for France. We kept it safe just incase we security comes."

"This brings a heart and soul," Joy said.

"Heart and soul?" asked Kaylin.

"I mean, this brings hearts with holes."

"Soul?" asked Alexandra. "I've heard that Judson Soul is here."

"What are we waiting for?" smiled Brigitte. "Let's go find him."

Swiftly, Harriet and the Hoppy Hoppers rushed from their tent and out of the pop division. This was bad news for Kaylin and Joy, because they unintentionally blew his cover.

While searching the country division, Harmony and Paige were going around for clues when they spotted for a little bit "All we got to do is use your gingerbread," suggested Harmony.

This got Paige confused. "Use your head," clarified Harmony.

"Gingerbread, head," Paige chuckled. "Those are good rhymes for Tania can use. She's been writing a lot of songs since our Studio 25 adventure."

"That's the one where you did 'Everything's Better with Kirby'," recalled Harmony. "Even the Tranquility Forest can pick up telly signals from your world."

Looking down on the ground, they saw some orange feathers. To Harmony, they were kind of familiar.

In the rock division, Courage and Leah were going through the place when they bumped into a familiar face.

"Aranea?" asked Leah. "You're here for Bugfest? Usually you do gloom and doom."

"True," replied Aranea. "But Charlotte and Norma Jean wanted to do a little something for Science Class. The main reason I came is because of them."

Aranea pointed a dark and edgy stand with a trio of goth-rockers giving music lessons. One goth was female and played guitar, one goth was male and played keyboard, and another one was female and played drums. "Growing Up Creepie - Thena, Rob, and Samantha Spider," Aranea recalled, "otherwise known as the Creepy Critters."

"That's them, all right," replied Leah.

"But I don't think Courage should get involved," suggested Aranea. "He can't disrupt their rehearsal."

"We Bugaloos never say can't," replied Courage. "Someone disrupted our rehearsal."

"Hey," Charlotte replied. "I heard that Judson Soul is going to be here. Word gets around when your at Bugfest. So, we should protect him."

"Good point," Norma Jean replied. "He's our friend."

After a ten-minute interview with the Creepy Critters, they explained that they were masters of special effects, but wouldn't ruin a groovy group because they had enough trouble with their effects and they didn't want to go through it again. In the meantime, they decided to get some grub.

"Kirby?" asked Leah. "Could you go get some snacks for the Creepy Critters? You know how long lines can be."

Meanwhile, Judson was groing around in a disco hat and shades when he spotted Harriet and the Hoppy Hoppers seeing him. He may have fooled the fans with his hat and shades, but his bright smile and leg structure couldn't fool them. Like monkeys, the girl group chased him. Little did they know was that Kirby watched the whole thing and decided to rescue him.

Just as he was about to rescue him from a reggae bug corner, a mysterious figure came in, grabbed Judson, and carried off with him, leaving behind his hat and shades. Kirby didn't want Judson to get hurt, so he decided to take his disguise and warn the others.

By the Bugaloos' tent, Kirby came in with Judson's cap and shades. Knowing this, the Klue Queens believe that he was kidnapped. On the hat, I.Q. could see an green feather.

"If you think that's weird, mate," replied Joy, "you should see these purple feathers Kaylin and I found."

Looking at all three feathers, the Bugaloos know only one fiend who could leave these feathers and wear such extravagant clothes: Benita Bizarre.

By the front of a French cosmetics tent, Funky Rat, Woofer, and Tweeter were guarding the place while Benita was placing a bounded and gagged Judson on the ground. "My most brilliang plan evil," she smiled. "Tricking those French cosmetics creepers into thinking they're having an interview at nearest Greenburg was the perfect distraction. I was going to let those Bugaloos get electrocuted with that human bug zapper I stole from the pest-control stand, but then you came along and ruined everything. So I decided to do a kidnap lure trick to get rid of them."

"Hey, Boss!" shouted Woofer. "The Bugaloos are coming!"

"And they brought friends!" shouted Tweeter.

"What are we going to do Frauline?" asked Funky Rat.

"Leave it to me, Funky Rat," answered Benita.

Quickly, they hid in the corners while Leah, Kaylin, Tania, Paige, Kirby, Sparky, and the Bugaloos came in. Just as they were about to approach Judson, a cage fell on them and they were trapped. Benita declared, "Welcome to my humble aboad, Bugaloos."

"Benita!" shouted Harmony. "We should've know you were up to your tricks again!"

"You foolish Bugaloos!" shouted Benita. "Your always taking away my attention. I should be the star. Instead, you always outsmarted me. When I heard that your going to the human world to perform for that human, Judson Soul, I decided to make you look dumb by blind you with that disco ball and making you suffocate in that closet filled with bug spray. Luckily, I knew a witch named Wilhelmina W. Witchiepoo, who was able to transport me into your world."

"Lucky for us," Tania replied, "your trail of colored feathers, your B.B. autographs on those O'Mickey's hankies, and your littered lipstick despensers blew your cover."

Our heroes needed a way to free themselves fast. Seeing a bag of pins that Sparky has, Kirby wondered what they were.

"These are my Bugaloo Buttons," Sparky explained. "I made them just for the show."

That's when Tania got an idea, "Kirby, suck it up!" she shouted.

With one gulp, Kirby turned into Bugaloo Kirby. He lifted the cage up and made it land on Funky Rat, Woofer and Tweeter and sang the Bugaloos' theme song dreadfully. Quickly, Tania and I.Q. freed Judson and they made their escape while covering their ears.

"And I thought Frauline Benita's singing was terrible," admitted Funky Rat.

Fortunately, Kirby's terrible singing prevented Benita from hearing what Funky Rat said. The minute she barged out of the tent, she saw the crew from Dragonfly Dream Cosmetics, who were furious about the prank call she gave them.

"Mademoiselle," groaned one of the French business people, "I can't believe that you tricked us into going into the Greenburg, just to steal our tente."

"Yeah, so?" Benita stated rudely.

In rage, the French buisness people picked her up and started scolding her in French. "Don't worry," Leah said to Benita. "The NSA will place you back in the Krofftverse ASAP."

Later, it was time for the show. Buggy Betty came onstage. "As you all know," she shouted, "This is my last opening act, forever! Don't feel disappointed because Harriet and the Hoppy Hoppers are going to open every upcoming acts from now one! It's true that Judson Soul is here, but due to a little 'pink bug' ear poisoning the Creepy Critters got, they cancelled at the last minute!"

Backstage, the Bugaloos staired at Kirby for hurting the Creepy Critters ears by accident. "Good thing you didn't give them their snacks," Courage chuckled.

"Bugaloos!" shouted Judson as he came along.

Behind him, were Leah, Kaylin, Tania, Paige, Aranea, Norma Jean, and Charlotte. "When we heard that Judson could be in danger," explained Norma Jean, "we knew we had to help."

"After we found him free as a bird," Charlotte continued, "he invited us over to watch us perform and to see you guys in person."

"Since we're even on saving each other," Judson said to them, "how about you guys get to be my backup band?"

Within five seconds, the Bugaloos agreed to be Judson's backup band, figuring he could have someone to talk to while the Klue Queens solved mysteries. "I've recently written a song that is hoping to sing, 'My Dreams'," explained Tania, "and made a few modifications thanks to Paige's inspiration."

After Harriet and the Hoppy Hoppers came backstage, they glimpsed at Judson's cuteness. Tania didn't want Judson to get hurt, so she told Harriet and the Hoppy Hoppers to just relax and watch Judson and the Bugaloos sing. Not wanting to see contemporary dancers upset, Sparky gave them some Bugaloo buttons.

Onstage, Judson started to sing Tania's new song.
