3) We've got Magical!Dudley, which is bound to change things.

4) The dimension that the dragons and angels live in is called Minore.

5) This story includes the bashing of Dumbledore, Molly, Ron, and Ginny, powerful! and grey!Harry, slightly good!Voldemort and 'creature' appreciation.

Writer Responses:

To the guest that said the story is bad and is wondering why angels and bad Dumbles are needed, let me explain!

1) Dumbles is bad because I hate his guts and feel like he needs to be taken down a peg... or all of them. He deserves it.

2) For the angels, you're probably thinking they're the biblical ones from religions, which they're not! I probably didn't explain them right in the story, and it might've given off the wrong idea. What happened, ages ago before this story is that humans took one look at them, saw the wings and magical powers, and the people thought they were actually angels sent from above. The name stuck before it was explained that they weren't that.

And to the other guest who said I lost them at bashing, well... bashing is bashing is bashing. It's not for everyone, and you don't have to read it if you don't like it. But if you do like it, continue onward!

Description

During the summer he gets his Hogwarts letter, Harry stumbles across a shiny gold rock while running from Dudley and his gang. Fascinated with it, he picks the rock up and takes it home. Soon after, Harry finds out that it's actually a dragon's egg when it hatches into a rod gold baby dragon. The baby dragon immediately leaves a white mark called a gedwëy ignasia on the boy's hand, marking him as a dragon rider. Then, on his eleventh birthday, Harry gets a strange visitor. He meets the deputy headmistress of Hogwarts, Minerva McGonagall nee McGraw, who's there to give Harry his letter.

Chapter Eight

Harry edges away from the group, eyes on the second goblin with them. While harder to read than his relatives, he can tell that the being wants to separate Harry from the rest of the group, and Gendaec agrees with him. Even the teacher seems to have noticed the goblin's actions, her large wings twitching strangely every time she shoots a glance in Harry's direction.

He falls behind, even more, the two Dursleys not even noticing how far ahead they are. Professor McGonagall's wings flare open when his relatives turn the corner, a dark look on her face that's quickly wiped away. Somewhere ahead of them, the first goblin's voice gains a slight snarl to his voice as he speaks, and Harry winces where he stands.

"Follow." The goblin next to him snaps, quickly heading off down the hallway without waiting for a reply.

Harry is quick to follow the being, confusion clear on his face as he practically jogs down the hallway. The twists and turns they take confuse him, the hallways bland and exactly the same. The doors they pass have nameplates, a few names with names and positions, others listed with practical uses, and some with both. A handful of doors have plates in a language he doesn't recognize, most likely the goblins' own language.

What feels like hours pass before they stop in front of a door that looks exactly like the others, blending into the wall. The two nameplates above him give off a slight glow, catching his eye as the goblin opens the door.

Manager Griphook

Potter Vaults

Harry freezes at the sight of the name, eyes wide. I… I have a fault? Is this a mistake? His mouth drops, eyes blank as he gets nudged forward into the room, thoughts racing through his head. The only thought that sticks out is: why wasn't I told about this?

Some of the goblins around him are muttering curses under their breaths, a dark gleam in their eyes. While harsh the curses seem to be, Filius ignores them in favor of gaining the attention of the teller in front of him. The teller huffs at him, eyes barely flickering up from the paper he can hear being moved around on the desk.

"I'm here for a meeting with the Flitwick account manager. My sister should already be down with him." The teller hums, motioning him onwards.

"Ask him about eggs." The goblin calls down to him in goblin as Filius turns away, drawing his attention back. "You'll love what he will say about it."

Filius nods, a frown on his face as he heads down the hall. Is this about that missing egg? Or is it about something else?
