Adrian felt like he couldn't breathe. His mind was roaring with what he had just seen and all of the things he had learned that day yet, not being able to 'breathe' a word of what he really thought of it, not without his father akumatising him over it. Adrian couldn't let that happen. Otherwise, his father, Hawkmoth, would get what he wanted. The miraculous.

Adrian continued in silence until he reached his room with his father breaking through the silence with, "Maybe you should stay home tomorrow. I will be able to keep you safe from the akumas if you were to stay home, and I won't have to worry about you getting in the way of the akumas getting the miraculous?" Gabriel looked down to see his son's reaction.

Although Adrian didn't really feel like going to school tomorrow due to all the dizziness and the sickness he was feeling, he also knew that 'he didn't want to be in this house longer than he must and that his friends were going to be able to cheer him up. Even if they don't know. Can't know. Why he is feeling this way.

"No, please, father, I want to go to school. No. I need to go to school." At his father's waiting expression, he continued, "My friends will want to know why I'm not going back to school." He reasoned. "They will see straight through any lie I come up with," Adrian argues, not entirely lying about what would happen yet also knowing that he can be a great liar when he needs to be.

"Adrian, that's not wh-"

"If you decide that I'm not going to school tomorrow, I'll just run to the school myself just like I did on my first day!" Adrian argues back, cutting off what his father was about to say. 'And your first day of akumatising my friends.' Adrian thought to himself.

Gabriel tries to argue back about what he would do if Adrian tried that. All that popped into his head is that if he tries anything, it will only result in questions and/or his identity as Hawkmoth being revealed. Meaning zero chances of getting the heroes of Paris' miraculous and how he wouldn't be able to get his wife back.

"Fine, if you think you are still up to going to school tomorrow, then you can go." Gabriel huffs out. "Goodnight." He sighs as Adrian watches him turn around and walk back down to his office before, he turns around himself and walks into his room 'taking a deep breath before collapsing onto his bed in distress.
