An Itchy Situation
Lauren's P.O.V.:
Ah. Nothing like a normal day in the park for me. Okay, Sean too. Sorry Sean. Yep, nothing like a normal day here in the park. Well almost spring day just in case. Yep, spring has sprung here in Brooklyn. Sean and I decided to take some time and work on plans for Hector's birthday party coming up along with the school flash mob which is going to be amazing if I say so myself. Shock was over with us to. He's helping Keith, Lisa, PJ, Jess, and Manny make a short movie. Now, I know what you're wondering, what is the movie about? Well, to put it plainly it involves sci-fi, and a little bit of itchiness. Yeah, don't ask. Oh, don't worry. Hector's coming. I think he had something to discuss with mom. From where Sean and I were practicing with Will, on Face call I may add, we managed to get a few ideas for choreography.
"So, I'm thinking we all meet up outside at that last chorus of the song and finish it out there," Will suggested. "Perfect Will. That sounds great," Sean smiled. "Glad you guys like it. Kendra thought of it. Oh, did you check with Mr. Jones to see if it was okay," he wondered. "Were talking about it him with him tomorrow at school," I responded. "Great job guys. Can't wait for the final product. Seems like movie is coming along nicely," he grinned. "You bet. Lisa's been working hard on this," Sean agreed as we watched from the side lines.

Lisa's P.O.V.:
"And so now you little itty bittes, your tiny precious planet belongs to me and only me forever haha," Manny laughed before PJ dressed in a yellow spandex suit I think popped in. "Hold it right there Dolthar. I don't think so," he told him. "Oh great. You the "Great" Garcador, the courageous warrior of this galaxy," Manny realized. "That's right Dothar and you know why they call me courageous," he asked. "Why? Because they couldn't think of a good nick name for you," he sassed. "No because I'm brave enough to stand up to you and I will not, I mean will not let you pick on this planet any longer! Your time here, is over," PJ answered. "Oh really, that's what you think. Besides, here's a little something for you," he said taking out a spray can thing and sprayed him. Then, he started to itch like crazy.
"What did you do Dolthar," he shouted. "Oh. Just gave you a dose of my invention called the Itch Ray. Pretty neat huh," he asked with a smile. "NO," he snapped. "Now, that your too busy scratching yourself, I will be taking over this planet and give you a space noogie," he laughed before giving him one in the head. Hold up, that's not in there. "Cut," I shouted through the megaphone. "Oh, come on, not good Lisa," Manny asked. "No, the scene was good only up to the end Manny," I told him. "How so," he smirked. "Well, according to the script your supposed to say and while you're busy scratching, thanks to me. I'll take over the planet," I said. "Yeah, and really? The whole noogie thing?! Come on dude, unnecessary," PJ joined in. "Uh, may I remind you PJ it's called acting and if my character wants to do a noogie, so be it," Manny sassed. Now, don't get me wrong but that went in the oh no he didn't book for sure.
Keith's P.O.V.:
"Actually Manny, I hate to tell you this, but Lisa is the director so, I agree with her. Space noogie she wouldn't," I told him. "Ha. Take that Manny," PJ smiled. "Uh PJ. I wouldn't say that if I were you," I mumbled. "So can we please for the love of all that is good, do it the right way please," Lisa asked. "Uh no because you know what Lisa? None of you guys respect my true genius that is acting. So, if you can't respect that, then I quit," Manny threatened.
Sean's P.O.V.:
"Got to go Will. Sounds like something went too far," Lauren told him. "Okay. Talk to you soon guys," he waved as I hung up Face chat. Lauren and I walked over to the others. "What happened," she asked. "I can't do a noogie because they refuse to respect my style of acting," Manny smirked. "We weren't refusing, were just trying to help you out," Lisa told him. "Yeah. Don't you think your overreacting a bit," I wondered to Manny. "I can't work like this, I quit," he said before stomping off. "Man, what a diva," Shock told us before we stared at him. "What," he asked before Lisa got the megaphone. "So, what do we now," PJ wondered. "HEY, YOU GUYS," Lisa yelled into the megaphone. "Diner, we go," Lauren admitted as we walked over to the diner.
(At the diner)
Hector's P.O.V.:
"Hey Leo, Great job on the patty melt. Tastes awesome," I told Leo eating a little bit of the sandwich. "Thanks Hector. That new melt I got seems to be doing the trick," he smiled. "You bet. Hey, there you guys are," I turned to see my sister and best friends come into the diner. "Hey Hector," Lisa shrugged. "Hey Hector? That's all I get not a oh no. Don't tell me it was Manny again," I noticed. "Yeah, again," Lauren told me. "What happened," Leo asked. "Stormed off the movie set because we wouldn't allow his character to do a noogie," PJ told him. "We tried explaining but he wouldn't listen to us," Jess explained. "Yeesh," I winced.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"Yeah, but he is so great acting wicked. I know it's sort of part his personality along with the eyes and evil laugh and all but why would he storm off like that when we tried telling him no," Lisa pondered. "Well, if I'm up frank and honest with you guys, he is difficult to work with. Besides, he's a prankster and it's hard to work with Pranksters you know," Hector chimed in. "Hector's got a point and not to mention he's like this every day. Well except for his robot then he becomes a softy," Sean added, and we were like yeah, true, true. "You know, this reminds me of a guy I knew once back in Chicago called "The Juicer". Same way as Manny. He didn't even know how to collaborate. Just made everyone uncomfortable and give me the creeps. Burr," PJ shivered. "May I ask why people called him the juicer," Sean asked. "Because he squeezed everything and it soon became juice," PJ explained. "Ew," we grossed out. "Yeah. Not pretty. I'm not sure if he came around though; but I stood up to him once and never heard from him again," he finished the story. "Wow, very brave of you," we told PJ after hearing what happened.
"Okay, with that. We're going to need someone else to play his part. Not me that's for sure. I love these little alien creatures I'm working with," Jess smiled playing with them. "She does," I agree. "Wait, what about Keith? He can do the part," PJ realized. "Are you sure that's the best idea PJ," Keith asked. "Of course. Now, show me wicked, come on cuz be mean as you can be," PJ encouraged. "I can't. I have a hard time pretending to be wicked remember," Keith told him. "That was during Narnia," Sean told him. "I know but I'm still a nice guy," he smiled. "Here, I got an idea," Sean told him getting a fork.
"What are you doing," I wondered. "Okay Keith, pick up that fork and tell it you're going to destroy it and then laugh wickedly okay," he explained. "I'll try," he shrugged. "I'm going to destroy this fork, ha," Keith tried. "Eh, eh no good," we realized. "See? I told you guys not so wicked," Keith said to us. "He's right. Uh, what about you Hector? Your good at acting. Do you think you can be wicked," PJ asked. "Well, I uh I think I can give it a go. Besides, it should give me good practice for my audition as Gaston," Hector said to us. "Won't know until you try and you're trying for your college's production of Beauty and the Beast aren't you," Jess told him. "Yep. Okay. Here goes nothing," Hector said before getting into character. "I'm going to destroy this fork and when it does all will be at my will, mwah hahaha," he laughed before looking at us. "How was that" he asked. "Hector, you just got the lead my friend," Lisa smiled and clapped. "Nice. I think this is going to be perfect," he smiled.
"Hold on guys. Aren't you forgetting Manny may get upset or so if we did this switch? Remember with Hector, Paul, and Danny last time," I recalled to them what happened a few months ago. "Oh," Hector realized. "Yeah, Lauren's right. We wouldn't want to do that again," Jess agreed. "But he quit didn't he," Sean asked. "He did; but I'm thinking maybe he's having second thoughts. Don't get me wrong but that's what I think," I explained. "Hmm. Lauren might be right on with this. Maybe I should back out and let someone else do it," Hector said to us.
"No. No. Manny quit the movie but honestly, Hector you are good at being wicked like Manny is. So, I suggest let's give this a try and then if it doesn't work out, we'll go back to the drawing board," Lisa suggested. "Okay. Fine by me," Hector agreed as we went back to the park to shoot the movie but also rehearse for the flash mob. Hector was already in the costume that Manny made though, we did have to take it in. "Guys, I'm still not sure about this. I don't want to upset Manny's feelings," Hector admitted. "I know you don't Hector; but we must try it. Okay, we got you in there and it maybe a little baggy but hopefully things will stay in place," Jess smiled finishing some adjustments. "Thanks Jess and I have to admit, the costume does look great on me," Hector told her. "Uh huh. I agree dude," PJ smiled. "Okay gang. I kept the script as is but decided to add this for the next scene," Lisa said smiling.
"You're going to make a word ball, aren't you? I love it when you guys do it. I love it," PJ laughed in excitement. "He must really like those word balls," Sean told me. "Yep. He sure does," I grinned before Lisa placed the line on the card. "Perhaps Dolthar a bit more itch, will change your mind," we read. "I like it," Sean agreed. "Me too. Sounds like the perfect bad line," I smiled. "You bet guys. Alright gang lets shoot this," Lisa smiled, and they cheered in excitement. "Sean and I are going to be working on the dance moves," I called to the others walking not far from where they were.
"You still think Manny's having second thoughts about quitting the movie Lauren," Sean asked as he stretched. "Now that I think about it Sean, I doubt it, but you never know," I shrugged. "True you may be right. Come on, let's work on the flash mob," Sean told me as we started to think of more ideas for the video. We had some ideas in mind like people jumping on the side of lockers though school won't allow it, break dancing was another one so that worked basically, we were thinking ideas. Will was kind enough to lend us an instrumental copy of the song he worked on for the flash mob which seems to help us perfectly. "Well, I think it's safe to say we got some ideas in the running," I told Sean after a few minutes figuring out ideas.
"Yeah, we sure did Lauren. I think the plan we have is going to be perfect," Sean agreed before we turned around and saw Manny heading over to Lisa and the others as they were talking. Sean and I looked bewildered and wondered what was going on. "Manny," I called out hesitantly. He soon heard my voice and walked over to where we were. "Hi guys," he smirked. "What are you doing back here," Sean asked him. "I came back because I want to be in the movie again," he explained. "But how? You quit earlier remember," I recalled. "True but after talking with my agent, she decided I need to give it another go," he answered. "The agent being your mother," Sean asked.
"Yeah; b-b-but the point is! The point is, I feel bad and want to make this right," he admitted. "So, you want to be back in the movie," I clarified. "Yep," he told us. "Well Manny, I must admit took you a long time to figure it out but I, uh am positive that the gang will welcome you back with open arms," Sean agreed before I stared at him. "You think so," he wondered. "What?! No way. There is no way Mr. Manny can't collaborate nicely Spamboni is jumping back onto this," we heard PJ. "Then again, might be different," I noticed heading to the others.
Lisa's P.O.V.:
"He's the best Dolthar here in town PJ and Lauren's right. He does need a second chance," I told PJ walking from the set. "Okay fine, I guess he did have second thoughts but is he even," he asked. "Perhaps Dolthar, a bit more itch will change your mind," we heard his voice and looked over to see him with Lauren and Sean. "Manny," we asked stunned. "Uh, hi and I feel bad about earlier, so I'm jumping back in the movie again," he waved. "Well, were great that your back Manny and," I started to say as he looked over at Hector. "Is that my costume," he wondered. Lauren looked over at Hector and he quickly took it off. "Okay, let's get back to work," I called to the others as they got back into position; but I looked at PJ and could tell in his face he was still not happy. "Don't worry PJ it'll be fine," I assured him. "You think so," he wondered before walking back to the others. "I hope," I admitted with some nerves creeping in.
Sean's P.O.V.:
Lauren and I could feel the awkwardness a little bit as Manny came over and got in his costume once again. It really feels awkward to be honest. "Okay welcome back Manny. Great to have you on," Lisa smiled as we watch Manny and PJ fist bump one another. "Alright, let's pick up where we left off. Shooting rehearsal," she called standing to the side where Hector, Lauren, and I were. "You think this will go smoothly," Hector asked us. "I would hope so Hector. Lauren's right when she said he might need a second chance," I nodded. "Yeah, I get that; but can't help but think otherwise," he shrugged. "How so," Lauren asked. "Well, do you think he might be doing this so he can go all diva again," he wondered. "Well, there's only one way to find out," I responded watching the others record. "Alright guys, action," Lisa called out as they started working on the scene. Manny, I must admit honestly does a good job of playing the villain, Lisa's right.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"Make it stop Dalthar! Please, I will do anything," PJ pleaded to him. "I love it when you beg Garcador," he taunted holding a bath bomb it looked like in his hand. "Please, do something," he begged. "I will. I have here in my hand the only cream in the galaxy that can stop this itch once and for all. However, I will give it to you on one condition," he smirked. "What's that," PJ asked. "The code to the base and soon, it will be yours," he replied. "Please! Give it to me, I'll give you the code," he asked. "Aw, not so courageous are you now tough guy," he taunted. "That's what you think. Give that cream to me now," PJ demanded before jumping off the ground and almost wrestling Manny to get it. Wow, I was surprised. "Hold up, cut. Cut," Manny called out. "What? Manny you can't call cut only the director does," Jess explained.
"Yeah, you tell him Jess," Hector cheered, and we looked at him. "I shouldn't have said it should I," he asked. "Yep," we responded. "Anyway, I have to do something," he explained. "What are you talking about," Sean wondered. "The ending, that's what I'm talking about. I mean we all know its predictable right? Everyone knows what's going to happen at the end. You know courageous Garacador defeats the wicked invader, and everyone ends up happily ever after the end. Except for the villain," Manny told us. "Yeah, but go on," Shock wondered before he yawned.
"Okay Manny, what are you getting at this," Lisa asked before he hushed her. "Take five everybody," Lisa announced. I walked to where Lisa, PJ, and Manny were. Sean stayed behind talking with Hector for a bit. "Okay, do you think the ending is predictable PJ," Lisa wondered. "I would say yes but in a good way you know. I mean everyone wants to see the hero defeat the villain. No offense," he said to us and Manny. "None taken," he replied. "If I may interject here guys, I think Manny might be onto something," I interrupted. "You think so Lauren," Lisa and PJ asked. "Yeah. I don't think personally it's a bad ending, but I don't want it to be predictable. I'm sure you wouldn't either right Lisa," I wondered. "Yeah, your right Lauren but we just need something better and unexpected," she agreed. "But what and would be nice if he collaborates with us for once," PJ wondered and calling out Manny. "Hey. Be nice," I scolded him.
"And I'm standing right here, thank you," Manny sassed. The three of them started thinking as I looked over to Sean and Hector watching something on his phone. "I'll be right back," I told them walking to Sean and Hector. "What are you guys doing by Hector's phone," I asked the two. "Oh, were watching this clip going around of people reacting to the scene in Star Wars where Luke finds out Darth Vader is his dad. Talk about an unexpected twist," Sean told me as I watched the clip of people reacting. It was hilarious but also kept people on the edge of their seat. I felt Manny nearby as he watched the same clip from Hector's shoulder. I looked at Manny and he seemed to have the creative wheels turning in his brain. I wondered if he had an idea.
"Madam director," he called Lisa. "Yes Manny," she replied. "I have an idea for the ending and I'm willing to collaborate with you all for once, just once," he admitted. "Okay then. I ask you how do you see the story ending," she wondered. "Okay. So, you guys know Dolthar is the smartest person around and wicked right? But I find it somehow stupid and baloney that he gets "outsmarted"," he explained. "Are you kidding me Manny? Come on. Garcador is the hero. Period. No if, ands, or buts whatsoever," PJ argued. I was already with them hearing the discussion. "Yes, it's true but what if something happens to change Dolthar? You know like in Star Wars when Luke finds out Darth Vader is his father," Manny suggested. "That way he doesn't end up wicked in the end," I agreed. "Yeah, so what can we do with that concept," PJ questioned. "I got it," Manny announced. "You do," I asked. "Uh no I don't got it. I just wanted to say that" he shrugged. "Ah," I nodded before it clicked with me.
Sean's P.O.V.:
"Guys I have an idea," Lauren announced. "You do Lauren," we asked. "Yeah. What if we showed Dolthar's sweet sensitive side that way instead of him being wicked in the end, it can show his growth and change from bad to good," she explained. "That's not a bad idea Lauren but what about him makes him well sweet," Lisa asked. "Well, maybe the fact is he wants to be with friends and is lonely," Manny suggested, and we all looked at him. "I mean not that I would continue to be with the Pranksters of course," he blushed. "Hold up, you just gave me a thought Manny. I'm going to edit the script one more time," Lisa told us working on it. Hector and I joined Lauren when Lisa went to change the script. "I can't believe this is happening Manny collaborating with you guys for once," I said surprised.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"Same here dude. I didn't expect it at all," I agreed. "Do you think it will last a while," Hector wondered. "Only a few minutes give or take," PJ estimated before we looked at him. "That's my thinking," he shrugged. "Okay guys, new script is done. I got copies," Lisa called coming back over to us and handing one to PJ. He took a glance at the last scene written out. "Lisa, I love it! This is great," he exclaimed. "Thanks PJ. I must admit it wasn't easy, but Manny and Lauren gave me some ideas," she smiled. "They sure did," he agreed. "And not to mention us collaborating as well, I think that got the job done," I piped up. "Ditto to that Lauren. Amen," the others smiled. "Um, out of curiosity does Manny like it," PJ asked. "Do I like it? Do I like it? I love it," Manny exclaimed. "I take that as a yes," Lisa grinned. "Okay then, what are we all standing around for? We have a movie to make, lets work some magic people," Manny told us getting to his place. "You heard him fellas," I agreed as the three of us walked off set. Not really, but you know what I mean. "Okay guys back to places. Jess, ready," Lisa asked. "You bet," she smiled. "Okay then, action," she called as the aliens started to squirm once again watching the battle unfold.
"Give me the code Dalthar and the cream is yours. You can't skim pass this deal," Manny taunted. "Okay. You win, I'll give you the code. It's 69118," he conceded. "Hold up! Let me get a notebook and pen real quick," he told him. "Okay but hurry. I can't stop myself from scratching," PJ itched. "Wait this isn't a pen," he said before screaming and feeling the itch ray coming on him. "Hurry, the cream," he shouted before reaching it. "Uh no give it to me," he argued. Sean, Hector and I were sort of cracking up at this point before they threw it and landed on the ground. "No," they yelled simultaneously. "Our hope of being itch free is gone," PJ lamented. "Were hopeless Garacador. Hopeless! No wonder no wants to hang out with me," Manny cried out. "Why Dolthar? I don't understand," PJ asked. "It's because I, I," he said. I looked at Shock and that was his cue to do his magic.
He started beatboxing as the two started to rap about having each other's backs and eventually protecting the world together. It was awesome! "And cut! Great job guys," Lisa smiled. We cheered after that, and I think we can agree it worked perfectly for sure. "Give me five Manny. Great job," PJ told him. "Thanks. I knew I can do it," he responded. We cleared our throats. "I mean, we did it," he replied. "Okay, Lauren do the honors," Lisa told me. "Alright guys, you know what they say in the movies, that's a wrap," I exclaimed as Lisa made the announcement official with a word ball. They cheered and were ready to celebrate.
"I can't wait to see how this will turn out Lisa," Hector admitted hugging her. "Aw thanks Hector. I can't wait to. I'm so excited to edit this," she grinned before giving Hector a peck on the cheek. He blushed. "Okay while Lisa edits, how about movie viewing in the park tomorrow after school," I asked. "Sure," everyone agreed including Manny as we went to the diner celebrating the success of the movie but also our collaboration, for only a short time.
(Next day)
Lauren's P.O.V.:
Keith, Hector, Jess, Shock, Paul, Sean, Manny, Lisa, and I were at the park in our lounge chairs watching the movie in its full edited glory. I still can't believe how amazing it turned out! Sean was hogging most or some of the popcorn, but I managed to get a few swipes. Oh, that reminds me we made progress on Slide and drop shooting coming up and Sean and I's birthday present for Hector along with the flash mob coming up. "And it feels great. He's not spying, "the movie played the last notes of a song before transitioning to dramatic music and the scene of the aliens being set free played on screen. "Run free. Run free my friends," Manny told them, but they screamed thinking it was a trap. "Oh. No, no it's okay guys. You see Dolthar wanted a friend and to hang with you guys. He's not wicked anymore," PJ explained.
"Yes. I'm one of you guys now. I'm sorry. Please forgive me," he pleaded before they came over and hugged him. "Aww," we blushed at the last scene ending the movie. We cheered after that. "That was awesome," I squealed as the credits started to roll. "Directed by Lisa Heffenbacher, our girl," Hector smiled and hugged her. "Thanks guys but I have to ask are you all happy," she wondered. "Yep, and it was awesome, great job girl," everyone agreed. "Hold up a minute," Manny hollered. "For what," I asked. "This. Staring PJ Watson and Manny Spamboni! I thought it was supposed to be the other way around," he exclaimed. "What difference does it make Manny? Besides, it doesn't matter," PJ explained.
"Doesn't matter?! My name should be first because clearly, I was the star of the film," he argued. "Manny just because the film was about your character's change from wicked to good doesn't mean your name has to go first," Hector pointed out. "Well, I don't care, and it should have been done first! Good night," he stormed off before coming back. "Oh, before I forget Lisa. You'll be hearing from my agent, in this case my mother," he told her before coming over to Sean and I. "Danny wants to know if you guys want to go bowling on Saturday," he whispered. "Tell him were in," Sean smiled. Manny soon left again not before giving me a little bow.
"Well, that was predictable and unexpected," PJ noted. "Yeah but come on you can't expect him to collaborate forever can you," Jess asked. "Not really," we shrugged. "But it was good for a little bit at least," Lisa smiled. "True but you did a great job Lisa," Sean smiled. "Thanks guys. Who's up to watching it again," she asked. "Oh, I am," we smiled watching the movie once again.
(Meanwhile at the PalmWoods)
Logan's P.O.V.:
The guys and I decided to relax a little bit at the pool for a bit before heading to Rocque Records. I still couldn't help but think of my destiny and had the lion statue right by me. "What you thinking about Loges," Carlos asked. "Our destiny Carlos. Do you think we were brought here for another reason besides being a band," I wondered. "I would think so Logan, but why," he answered. "I don't know," I shrugged. "Well, no matter what guys, we are here now and were almost halfway there," Kendall announced. "He's right. You know, I wonder who we'll collaborate soon," I told them as we thought about who we wanted to meet. Who knows what's in store?
Well, there it is guys another chapter is in the books! Sorry if it's a little late. I was stuck on figuring out how to tie in the BTR boys. I hope you all enjoy it! I can't believe this is also my 60th chapter! Thank you all for your love and support. It means the world to me and I can't wait to write the next one. Happy summer guys!
