Hey everyone,
IMPORTANT UPDATE! This will be the last month where I will be updating all 14 stories at the end of every month. I am just going to do the same thing everyone else does; either fully finish a story and then post the full thing or finish a chapter and then post it once it's written. However, there are stories, like to Read Into The Universe, where I will probably try to finish the whole thing and edit out the mistakes and whatnot and only then post the finished product.
I'm sorry if this upsets some of you, but I know about myself that I NEED to do this. Over the course of the last few months, I just haven't felt as if I have given these stories the attention they deserve and while I am happy with some stories and how some chapters are written, do I just feel lost and disappointed looking back on others. I'm just starting to feel like thinking: "I could have done better." when looking back at some of the chapters I wrote, so I made this decision. Onto the story.
So I took another look at the entire story and I'm going to be honest with you; I no longer consider this story properly edited. Yes, a few typos and whatnot have been fixed and a few timeline errors have been taken out, but I am still using that crappy "PS – chapter, page – PS" style of covering the CR parts of this story and that aggravates me. And I promise, I will get back to this story and ACTUALLY properly edit it, but for now,
Back to the chapter,

Chapter 53
A World of Change

31st of January 1996
The Viewing Room
Jessica's POV

The Genie and Beaky get send back to their own places in Agrabah and England after everything has calmed down, yet I also make sure to add a quick note to Beaky's neck as a way to explain to Mrs. Weasley where the Hippogriff had suddenly vanished off to. And while it had been amazing to meet such a famous Disney character and brilliant to learn a new Keyblade technique, did we all agree to return to the movie as there were still a few worlds left.
The movie shows the Gummi ship having returned to Agrabah and setting course for the world they had originally planned to fly to when they were intercepted by Monstro. And when they arrive, my eyes widen and my heart skips a beat as this was a movie that only recently came out and became a huge hit for Disney in only a matter of a few short months. And while the only thing visible about the world is the fact that it's an entire ocean, do I feel confident that in my movie knowledge.
I see the screen appear again and a picture of Donald appears as he says: "Okay, guys. Prepare for landing." Yet a picture of Sora appears at the bottom of the screen and the boy asks: "Land where? In the sea? We'll drown!" Donald reassures him: "Not with my magic we won't. Just leave it to me." And the screen turns to black before showing a gorgeous underwater scene, a large sea shell that is white on the outside and purple on the inside in the center of the screen.
The camera turns away to follow a small group of tropical fish that swim into three small groups of bubbles that form out of nowhere along with bright lights in the center of each group. And from each light, the three friends appear, yet their forms have actually changed. Donald now has the yellow and blue tentacles of an octopus beneath his torso, Goofy has changed into a blue sea-turtle and Sora actually has a fin growing from the hip down, replacing his legs.

The boy is beyond excited and starts trying to swim with it, alongside Goofy, who is trying to get used to now having to use his arms and legs – or his new four legs – to swim, yet Donald is just hanging upside down with his arms crossed and is slowly sinking down. And then I get exactly what I had been hoping for as a gorgeous red-haired mermaid with a green tail swims into the cave that Sora appeared in, a yellow and blue striped fish and a red crab swimming after her.
"Come on, Sebastian!" The mermaid yells at the crab, yet it tiredly calls out to her: "Ariel, wait! Slow down! Don't leave me behind!" Yet while the camera focuses on how its short claws obviously make it much slower and cause for it to indeed be left behind, does it then come face to face with an angrily glaring Donald. Instantly it yells in fright and both the crab and the fish seek shelter behind the Mermaid, who laughs and says:
"Relax, Sebastian. They don't look like one of them. Right, Flounder?" The camera again focuses on Sora and his friends as they are being compared, Donald still frowning, while Sora and Goofy try to look friendly and carefree and yet the fish mumbles: "I don't know. There's something weird about them." This makes Sora start to laugh uncomfortably and he asks: "What do you mean?" Yet he needs to move his tail at the same time to stay level with the other mermaid.

Ariel starts to swim around Sora and mumbles: "Hmm, they do seem … a little different. Where are you from?" And Sora answers: "Eh, we're from kind of far away. And we're not really used to these waters." And the fact that he ends this with another uncomfortable laugh makes me shake my head at the poor boy, yet Ariel seems to buy it and giggles as she says: "Oh, I see. In that case Sebastian can show you how we swim around here."
And while the crab had been observing Donald, who had only turned himself right-side up, but not stopped frowning with his arms crossed, does he now turn back to the conversation and worriedly objects: "Ariel, King Triton will not like this." At which I can't help but nod as I remember the scene where Triton destroyed his daughter's treasure trove, just because he suspected all of the humans to be evil and barbarian.
Yet Ariel seems to disagree, or just not care, as she says: "Oh, don't worry." And while she swims away, does Sebastian huff and tell Sora: "Easy for you to say …. Okay, it's time to learn how to swim properly. Practice swimming with Flounder. Try to tag him." And while I absolutely adore that crazy accent, that someone once told me is Jamaican or something, do I watch as Sora learns to dive and rise and even turn by moving his upper body.

Yet when Sora has tagged Flounder three times and Sebastian wants to say: "Good job. Now let's move on to self-defense." Does he get interrupted by Ariel calling out to him. He turns to her and the camera shows her motioning for a group of Heartless, that look like demon-possessed jellyfish with the Heartless symbol on their huge round, water-filled heads.
Instantly Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian start to swim for cover, Sebastian's claws once more making him move incredibly slowly, yet this also allows him to tell Sora: "Class is over. Good luck!" Before he and Flounder hide themselves in the huge sea-shell that closes itself shut around them while Ariel seeks cover deeper within the cave. Donald and Sora both conjure their weapons to their hands, yet Goofy's appears on top of his back.
The turtle does grab it in one of his hands every time he attacks though and the three make short work of the Heartless, that actually burst into bubbles upon defeat. Ariel, realizing that the danger has passed, swims out of her hiding place and taps the shell, gently telling Sebastian: "It's safe. They beat those monsters." And when the shell opens and the two creatures swim out, does the shell reveal to have a glowing safe-point hidden within its form.

"Those creatures chases us here." Ariel worriedly tells her friends. "Oh no, those monsters might be heading for the palace, too!" Sebastian exclaims and Ariel replies: "We better head back right away!" Yet to this Flounder stutters: "But wh-what if we run into more on our way back?" And to this Ariel says: "I'm sorry, but we need your help. Please come to the Palace with us. The Trident markers on the walls point the way there. We won't get lost as long as we follow them."
And as she says this, do I suddenly take notice of the huge yellow mark that does indeed resemble a trident that is on the wall behind her. (going to ignore game mechanics here). Sora nods in acceptance to all this and Ariel says: "Okay, let's get going." And as she moves to swim alongside Sora and out of the cave, does the world logo appear on screen. The group of four, Sebastian and Flounder tagging along underneath Goofy's shield which is still stuck to the shell on his back, swim through the ocean, encounter both the squid-like Heartless as well as others, including one that is just gigantic, but manage to reach their destination.

The group is, unfortunately, still being chased by Heartless, this group of three looking like demonic scuba-dive hunters or something, yet before the trio of monsters can properly reach into the castle, does a bolt of magic strike all three, causing them to vaporize into bubbles and mist like all the other Heartless that were struck down. "That was too close." A powerful and regal voice says as Ariel swims back into view and then grins at where the voice is coming from.
The camera follows her as she swims deeper into the castle, into a room that has a huge throne in the center, upon which a merman with a blue tail and long white beard sits, a golden crown with multiple spears on top of his head and a trident in his right hand while there are thick golden bracelets wrapped around his wrists. "As long as I have my trident, I will not tolerate those creatures inside this palace." The merman says, gripping his weapon with both hands.

"Daddy!" Ariel exclaims, only to reel back as the man reprimands her: "Oh, Ariel! When will you listen? It's dangerous out there!" Yet the girl only lets out a disbelieving sigh and rolls her eyes, while I can't help but suddenly make the comparison between the girl and her father and my own father and Mrs. Weasley and the Order. This makes me sigh and shake my own head, yet the others ignore me as the regal looking man goes on:
"Strange creatures lurk outside." And to my shocked humor, the man actually stares at Donald, which I can only consider natural as a duck with the tentacles of an octopus just can't be considered normal. Yet the fact that he also seems to stare at Sora, as the camera slowly turns from Donald to the boy, makes me wonder how much the man knows about the boy's origins. Sebastian then clears his throat and loudly states: "Behold. You swim before the ruler of the seas: His Majesty, King Triton." And the royal man curiously asks: "And who are they?"
To which Ariel replies: "They helped us fight off those creatures." Yet King Triton seems suspicious and mutters: "They don't look familiar." And Sora, sounding a lot more confident this time, tells the king: "We're from an ocean very far away." And Goofy laughs as he says: "Yup. We came to find the Keyhole." And just the way that King Triton asks: "The what?" Makes me know that he is feigning ignorance. Ariel, on the other hands, seems genuinely curious as she asks:

"What's that?" Yet before Goofy can do more than say: "Well, it's a –." Does King Triton interrupt him and snarl: "There's no such thing." And the camera actually zooms in on his glaring eyes of anger as he goes on: "Certainly not here." To this Ariel wants to object, but her father glares and while Sebastian cowers, he snaps: "Ariel, not another word! You are not to leave the palace. Is that clear?" But the girl only sends her father a stubborn glare and swims off.
Sora and the others follow her, but Sebastian stays behind with the king, who becomes weary and shakes his head before leaning it on his right hand as he mumbles: "Perhaps I'm being too strict …." To which my dad jokingly replies: "To a teenage girl, absolutely." And I glare at him as King Triton continues: "I'm just concerned for her safety.""I can definitely empathize with that." Dad smiles and I happily cuddle closer as Sebastian inquires:
"Of course, Your Majesty. But I must admit, now I'm quite curious about this Keyhole." And while Sebastian is swimming around as he speaks, is he suddenly stopped by King Triton raising his hand and angrily stating: "That need not concern you, Sebastian. Have you anything to report?" And the crab instantly makes me greatly worried as he says: "Just as you suspected, Your Majesty, they seem to be coming from Ursula's grotto."

"I knew it! That sea witch is up to no good again. I see exile from the palace has taught her nothing." The king says while stroking the hair of his beard. "Yes, she poses serious danger." Sebastian tries to agree with the man, yet this makes Triton snarl: "And I told you to keep Ariel away from such danger, did I not?" And the camera turns black as Sebastian starts to stammer out excuses, making me shake my head at the poor creature.
I turn to my brother and ask: "So, is Eric going to be part of this adventure?" But Sora shakes his head and says: "It's all going to be about the Trident and the Keyhole, though I did meet him during my second journey. That's when I helped him and Ariel get together." This makes me beam, even if I feel a little annoyed that I will have to wait several movies to see that happen. Instead of that, do I decide to just focus on the one playing on the big screen.

The movie shows Sora, Ariel, Donald and Goofy swimming around in the palace gardens outside of the throne room and actually heading out through the cave through which they came in before Ariel says: "Come to my grotto. I want to show you something. There it is. See?" And to my shock is the grotto actually located just down to the right of the cave that Sora and the others are in. The group swim over and Sora pulls the boulder that is in front of it to the side.
The group swims in and close the cave off by pulling the boulder back in place. And the inside looks every last bit like the grotto depicted in the movie when Ariel sings one of my all-time favorite songs of her movie. There are rows upon rows and every row that goes around the outer wall of the cave is filled to the last little niche with all kinds of stuff, from globes and boxes to crazy other things. And even the floor is littered with it all.
"Look at all the wonderful things Flounder and I've collected. I think it's from the outside world." Yet as Ariel says this, does the camera suddenly focus on a small piece that is stuck to the wall and that has a trident like shape in its center. "Someday, I'm going to see what's out there. I want to see other worlds. Does that sound strange?" And Sora happily replies: "No. Not at all. I used to feel the same way." At which Ariel asks: "Used to?"
And Sora quickly corrects himself: "I mean, I still do.""Hey, why don't we try looking for that Keyhole you were talking about?" Ariel asks all excited and when Sora wants to object and mutter: "But your father said –." Does the girl angrily reply: "Oh, he treats me like a little girl. He never wants to let me do anything." At which dad sighs and mutters: "I know how that feels. There should always be a limit to how protective a father is, lest he becomes overprotective."

I smile at the man, yet wonder if he won't start to do so once he has read a little more about the stuff I've gone through the last few years. "He just … he just doesn't understand." The girl continues to argue, while the camera suddenly focuses on Sebastian, who seems to have snuck into the grotto and is listening in. Sora starts to swim around and actually opens a few of the chests that are around, one of them containing some of the pages of Pooh's book.
"Oh wow, Sora, you got those chests to open. I've been trying for ages. Tell you what, as a reward, you get to keep what's inside. I like those chests more anyway." Ariel happily tells Sora, who thanks her and swims off. And when he passes Flounder, the little guppy fish says: "There's this really big fish who can swim against the current. But he's scared of those weird things swimming around. So if we chase them away, I think the big fish'll play with us. Maybe if you grab onto him, he'll take you somewhere."

Sora nods, yet after the group swims back out, does it suddenly become apparent that Sebastian wasn't the only one listening in as two eels swim into view. Both of them have one normal eye and one that is bright yellow and the two move to swim almost in sync with each other. The camera turns black and then returns to a new location. This one looks to be some kind of underwater basin that actually shows Sora and Ariel swimming, looking down on them from above.
"Ha! Those impudent fools will never find the Keyhole." The voice of Ursula the sea witch says while laughing. And her next words remind me worryingly much of the original movie as she mutters: "But the girl could prove useful." And we watch her swirl her hand over the basin, causing for an image of Ariel to swim out of the basin and then vanish as the witch says: "And I've got the Heartless on my side. Triton, my old friend. Your day is coming." She laughs, the camera shows her full form and then turns black again.
The camera then shows Sora, Donald and Goofy fighting off Heartless in each area they swam in on their way to the palace bar the gardens themselves. And after a few times of doing so, do they manage to make a dolphin that swims from the bit of underwater ocean outside of the palace gardens to the first area where Sora and the others began their track to the palace take them on his back. Donald wraps his tentacles around the front of the Dolphin, while Sora grabs onto the backfin and Goofy onto Sora's own body.

And the intelligent underwater mammal manages to get them through a current that they had trouble with as it pushed them almost away from their chosen path when they were traversing from the cave and the large seashell to the castle and the throne room. The group swims through and the area they arrive in makes me a little worried. It's simply another cave, yet the sight of a ship that has sunken to the bottom of the ocean makes me wonder:
"Is that shark going to be here?" And I get my answer as the four of them swim inside the ship, only for the form of a huge shark to temporarily block the screen. This worries dad and me and we focus on Sora, who wants to open a treasure chest near the window in the back of the ship, only for the shark to break through and try to bite at the group. It misses and fails several times and retreats, allowing Sora another chance at opening the chest.
And while I had expected a regular fork or pipe – as I remember Ariel finding these simplistic items in the movie, does it actually show a gorgeous crystal in the shape of a trident. "That can't be a coincidence." I think to myself and dad mutters the same thing as Sora mutters: "Hmm. Its shape reminds me of something." The group swim back out and are instantly attacked by the shark. Yet to the utter relief of my dad and me do Sora and his friends seem to have gained too much fighting experience over their journey for the shark to pose a threat and he is dealt with swiftly.

The shark shakes its mighty head and swims off just as Sora and the others start to swim back to the grotto. They insert the crystal into the crest they saw on the wall, yet as they do, does a voice suddenly yell at them from the entrance of the grotto. "Ariel, you've disobeyed me again! I told you not to leave the palace!" And King Triton swims in. A look of feared shock crosses his face as he sees the trident and instantly he reacts.
The man raises his own trident, which starts to shine a bright golden yellow and while Ariel pleads: "Daddy, no!" Does the man shoot a beam from his trident, breaking the crystal into pieces. "How could you?" Ariel asks her father, sounding heart-broken and swims off. Yet Triton only spares her a short sorrowful glance before he turns on to Sora and angrily states: "Young man, you're not from another ocean. You're from another world. Aren't you?"
Sora exclaims his shock and the King mutters: "Then you must be the Key bearer.""How did you know?" Sora asks befuddled and the king snorts as he says: "You may fool Ariel, but you can't fool me. You don't know your dorsal fin from your tail." At which I can't help but think: "Isn't that dorsal fin – part of Sora's tail?" But I decide to ignore this as the king goes on: "As the key bearer, you must already know. One must not meddle in the affairs of other worlds."

"Of course I know that, but …" Sora tries to defend himself, yet the king barely lets him as Triton goes on: "You have violated this principle. The key bearer shatters peace and brings ruin.""Okay, what's his problem?" Dad asks shocked and my brother sighs as he says: "There are Keyblade Masters, known as Guardians of Light, and Keyblade Masters that are known as Seekers of Darkness. The latter is the one King Triton speaks of."
"And it sounds like, just with humans, that King Triton only thinks the worst of the things he doesn't know about." I think to myself, remembering what started the conflict in the Little Mermaid movie. Yet I ignore this for the plight in this movie as Goofy tries to defend his friend and says: "Aw, Sora's not like that." Yet King Triton proves that he is just as stubborn as his movie-counterpart and states: "I thank you for saving my daughter. But there is no room in my ocean for you or your key."
And as he swims away does the camera focus on Sora, who summons his Three Wishes Keyblade and looks at it, a look of confused disbelief on his face. The camera turns dark as it focuses on this and when it comes back, it shows Ariel on the ocean floor, bent over an upturned rock and crying in her arms that are wrapped around her head.

And instantly I get a bad feeling, which is confirmed a second later as the camera turns to where the same two eels swim into view, one of them speaking. "My, my, the poor girl suffers such deep sorrow." And just like Fred and George, does the other eel take over, yet this comparison makes me shiver in disgust as the other says: "What a pity. If only there were something we could do …""Go away and leave her alone." I think to myself as the first eel speaks:
"Wait. Maybe she can be of some help.""Not." I mutter to myself, yet the other eel sneakily confirms the words and hisses: "Yes. Maybe she can be of some help to you." And just like in the movie, does Ariel sound desperate and heartbroken as she asks: "Who're you talking about?" The eels start to swim up and swim around each other as one of them says: "Oh, she would surely help you." At which I want to snort and the other says: "She'd make all your dreams come true."
And while the two chorus: "Ursula can help." Do they burst into a cloud of black smoke that shoots every which way before the sea witch herself appears from the smoke, a grin on her face that I'm sure she thinks looks friendly, but just reminds me of Umbridge. At this I feel like puking and think: "Like imagining Umbridge as a toad wasn't bad enough. Now I'm comparing her to this witch?" And while I curse my own imagination, does the movie continue.

"You called, my dear?" The sea witch asks and Ariel mumbles: "You're Ursula? I was just wondering if –." But here she falters and Ursula fakely reassures her as she says: "It's all right. Helping others is what I live for." And again I fight my hardest not to compare the two horrifying creatures as this sounds way too much like Umbridge's opening speech at the start of the school year. I groan and the others turn to look at me, yet I shake my head at them.
"Let me guess. You wish to see other worlds. That shouldn't be too hard." And while she says this, does the camera ironically focus on how the sun is shining brightly through the surface of the ocean. "After all, your new friends came from another world." This shocks the girl and Ursula goes on: "But they had special help – that mysterious key." And for some reason does this seem to sadden Ariel, who looks down with her hand on her chest.
"Now, now. Cheer up, sweetie. You have something special, too. Now listen carefully." And while I frantically shake my head at this, does the camera turn to black while showing Ariel and Ursula leaning closer together. The camera returns, focusing on Sora and the others leaving the grotto for the ocean outside it and the palace gardens. And as they head into the garden, does it return its focus to Ariel, who is actually already inside the palace.

It shows the girl swimming in from down below her form, while Ursula's voice sounds from the screen itself and says: "I think the Keyhole they seek is somewhere in the palace. Now, my dear, if you can take me there without your daddy knowing, I can help you get to these other worlds you long for." And to my horror does it show Ariel doing exactly that before focusing on the trident, which is strangely enough floating behind the throne.
"What's it doing there? In the movie, King Triton had it on him at all times, even when he didn't need it. At least, until he switched places with Ariel to save her from Ursula's contract. But even when she was killed it was returned to him and he kept it on him for the rest of the finale. So what gives?" I can't help but think as the camera turns black once more, focusing on Ursula grinning in victory as she spots the trident herself.

Sora, Donald and Goofy cross the palace gardens, fighting against a couple more Heartless and gaining one more level, while all their other fighting had made the three of them already gain another two or three each. And as they swim in, does the movie return its attention to what is happening inside. And the sight of Ursula holding the trident high up in the air and laughing before she happily exclaims: "The trident is mine at last! And I couldn't have done it without your help, my dear." Is a horrifying one.
Matters get made worse as, while Ursula thanks Ariel, the camera focuses on her worried and frightened while floating next to King Triton, who is leaning weakened into his throne, proving that he had a battle against Ursula and lost. "Ursula, no! I didn't want this!" Ariel tries to deny and defend herself, yet Ursula mocks her as she says: "Why not? Aren't you tired of following your dear daddy's orders? Oh yes. We had a deal, didn't we?"
The witch asks, even though she's obviously just playing, enjoying her victory and the sea witch makes it worse as she mockingly tells Ariel and Triton: "Time for a little journey – to the dark world of the Heartless!" But before the sea witch can set her plan into action, do the eels speak up. "We cannot find the Keyhole.""The Keyhole is not here."

This shocks Ursula, but makes me breath a sigh of relief and then the witch notices Sora, Donald and Goofy finally swimming into the throne room behind her. "Why, we have company. I'm afraid you're a little late, handsome!" And while I cringe and grimace in disgust at her complimenting Sora, does she vanish into another large cloud of smoke, just as Sora and the others arrive. Ariel worriedly calls her daddy's name and the man weakly says:
"The trident. We must get it back." But the man is obviously in no condition to do so and so Sora turns to his friends and snarls: "Come on, let's go!" Yet as they turn around to leave, does Ariel intercept them and say: "Wait, I'm going with you! My father is hurt and it's all my fault. I have to stop Ursula!" And while I feel intense pride for the princess, who is – in the movie – only one year older than me – do Sora and the others nod.
The camera then shocks me as it shows Sebastian swimming next to Sora and the crab enthusiastically states: "That's right. I'm right behind you, Ariel." The group wants to leave, but King Triton mumbles: "Wait." They turn around and he tells them: "Ursula draws power from her cauldron. To defeat Ursula, you must strike her cauldron with magic." And this renews my worries as I remember that Sora's magic is actually quite limited, even if he has obviously been growing in the ability to cast more at one time before needing an ether.

"Let's check our supplies before we head off." Donald suggests and to my relief, is Sora's bag, which is actually wrapped around his body just underneath the small fin on his back, filled with almost three dozen ethers. "That should help." Sora mutters and yet Donald also shares some Hi-potions and even two elixirs with him before they head off. They get back to the sunken ship with help of the dolphin and swim past it.
They find another sunken ship as well as a huge and thick monolith, which seems to be blocking something and spot a small object with King Triton's face on it hidden just to the left of the ship. "Need some help? I'll show you how it's done." Sebastian tells Sora, getting off of Donald's head where he had been residing the whole journey and the crab swims over to press his entire weight against the portrait, which proves to be a button.
And upon it being pressed inwards, does the huge monolith sink into the sand below, revealing a tunnel that leads outside. "I put that there after doing my investigation for His Majesty, when he suspected the Heartless to be coming from Ursula's grotto. It was something I had hoped would keep most of those monsters stuck behind the wall. I was proven wrong, it was fruitless." Sebastian explains, sounding depressed at the end.

The group swim into the tunnel and reach a crossroad. And upon taking the right tunnel, do they find a dead end that also houses two more huge seashells. They open both and while one holds a Mega-Ether, which gives me a renewed sense of relief, does the other, bigger one, house another safe point. The group quickly use this to regain their health and then swim off, taking the other turn at the crossroad and entering Ursula's grotto.
It shows Ursula hiding in the strange looking clamp that is stuck to the back of her grotto and Donald challenges her: "Come out! You can't run!" And Sebastian emphasizes this with a yell of: "Your time has come!" Do they both yell in fright and reel back when the sea witch does swim out, a look of intense fury on her face. The eels swim in from either side of the sea witch, yet while Sebastian swims away, does Sora whisper:
"Keep them distracted. I'll attack the cauldron. Donald, just do it. Your magic is stronger and your aim is better. You can hit them while they swim around a lot better than me." The duck nods and while Sora needs a few tries to realize that the cauldron's magic seems to change color and that it weakens the more he hits it with the element that compliments it – fire when it turns red and ice when it turns white-blue – does Ursula cry out and do her and the eels lose consciousness for a few minutes every time Sora hits it consecutively and successfully.
At these points does the whole team focus on Ursula, Sora actually whacking her with both his Keyblade and his tail as he strikes and Ariel doing the same. Yet every time Ursula wakes up, she instantly starts spinning like mad and her tentacles hurt Sora something fierce. And yet, after the second time this happens, do I suddenly notice that Sora somehow increases his speed as he swims away just when he notices Ursula waking up, thereby dodging her attack. And after two more consecutive shots at the cauldron and her, is the witch defeated.

And her eels prove that her power has weakened as they suddenly vaporize, trying to swim away in sync as this happens. The Sea witch looks at this shocked and is then confronted by Sora. Yet the sea witch just yells: "You'll pay for this!" And retreats back into the shell in the back, which actually slams shut behind her. Yet in the background, the sound of more swimming is heard, going above the ceiling and heading for the exit of the grotto.
"Let's go. We must get the trident back." Ariel tells Sora who nods and then says: "You know, I think I just learned to swim even faster. I might be able to swim through that current by myself now." And Donald and Goofy nod, proving that the battle taught them the same skill. "That's great. If I know Ursula, she'll be heading for the deep sea on the other side of the Calm tides. Let's go." Ariel tells the group and they all nod before swimming off.

The group does encounter a few more Heartless along the way, but they speed up and manage to outswim the demon-like creatures. And while they help Ariel through the wild current that flows through a hole on the left of the cave they just came from, do they end up in a huge spot of ocean that is devoid of anything and everything else on the other side after passing through another cave entrance. And here they find Ursula, trident in hand.
"You pathetic fools! I rule the seas now!" The Sea witch shouts as she insults them and raises the trident high above her head, the staff itself alight. And while the camera changes focus between a huge cloud of smoke that slowly but steadily grows larger and closer to Sora, does it also show something that horrifies me. Ursula is also slowly but surely growing, actually taking on the gigantic form that was shown at the end of the Little Mermaid.
And while she grows, her size increasing making Sora oblivious to how the smoke comes closer little by little, does she scream: "The sea and all its spoils bow to my power!" Sora does notice the smoke and swiftly swims away from it, but as he turns around, does the camera prove how much Ursula has grown as the boy is now the size of Ursula's eye and no bigger. Yet the boy instantly proves himself a brave hero as he casts Aero around himself and swims at her.
And while the battle obviously takes everything Sora has to offer and then some, while he actually has a few times where it's just him fighting as Donald, Goofy and Ariel are knocked out cold and while Donald, when he's awake, seems to focus all of his items on keeping Sora awake and alive, does my brother actually manage to get behind Ursula several times.

This allows him free range to attack her and after a gruesome battle, that takes the video a good twelve minutes, the sea witch meets her end. Yet Ursula, throughout it all, proves to be an opponent that has me worried and frightened throughout the entire battle as she uses what look like oversized forms of both thunder and fire and even shoots huge bubbles at my brother from her mouth. And the thunder both strikes my brother from far away and from close range.
Yet even the fact that the woman actually blasts a mouth-beam at the group several times over isn't enough to beat them and the sea witch seems to actually choke and drown, the same cloud of smoke coming up from below her and swallowing her whole. The sea witch lets out one final scream as there is thunder coursing through the smoke and obviously hitting her from time to time, does a beam of light shoot out of the smoke.

And from this beam, the trident appears, Ariel instantly swimming over to grab it before the whole group swims back to the palace. And while they all look tired, are there grins of victory on all their faces as they return the trident to its rightful owner. King Triton himself looks to have recovered from his battle with Ursula and Ariel smiles at this as she mumbles: "Daddy, I'm so sorry." And Sora proves his noble and kind heart as he tries to defend her with a plea:
"Please don't be angry with her." Yet King Triton proves that he can learn from his mistakes, just like he did at the end of The Little Mermaid and he says: "It's my fault. You followed Ursula because I wouldn't let you follow your heart. And when you found that crystal, I lost my temper and destroyed it." This intrigues Goofy, who asks:
"Oh yeah, the crystal! Why did you destroy it?" And the king both shocks and makes me think: "Called it." Which my dad also voices as the king says: "That crystal held the power to reveal the Keyhole. The Keyhole is dangerous. I had to keep you away from it at any costs.""Which is why he left the trident alone, it was to lure Ursula away from the grotto." I think to myself, shocked at how smart and cunning the king can be.

Ariel gently calls out to her father, her voice filled with love and gratitude and the King turns to Sora as he says: "Key bearer, I have one more request: Seal the Keyhole. My trident also holds the power to reveal the Keyhole. Will you do it?" And Sora, proving he really has the most positive attitude of anyone I have ever met, happily replies: "Of course. That's what we had in mind from the start." "Where is the Keyhole, Daddy?" Ariel asks.
The king chuckles and says: "You should know better than anyone. It's in your grotto." Instantly Goofy turns excited and says: "Really? Sora, let's go!" But to this the King says: "Wait, allow me to leave you with one final gift, as a way to thank you for all you've done for Atlantica." And the King actually makes his Trident shine as it tips the head of Sora's Three Wishes Keyblade. "I often use powerful thunder spells to dispose of my enemies. Now you can too."
Sora thanks the king and then Sebastian says: "Oh right, I found this in Ursula's grotto, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with our world. Why don't you keep it?" And Donald happily takes a bit of paper that has the words Ansem's Report 3 written on them before the group leaves, Ariel carefully carrying the trident in both her hands and Sora, Donald and Goofy forming a protective circle around her as they swim.

They luckily enough don't encounter any Heartless and reach the grotto safely, Ariel activating its power by what looks to just be pure instinct. And as the trident starts to shine and float in the center of the grotto, does the crest that held the crystal light up before a whole group of bubbles appear in front of it. These group together and form a glass panel that has a Keyhole in the center. And instantly Sora aims his Keyblade at it, sealing the Keyhole with its power.
"Tell me, Sora. Your world, what's it like?" Ariel asks after this, swimming at the boy, who turns red and rubs the back of his head as he says: "Oh, about that …. Sorry for lying to you." But Ariel proves to be just as kind-hearted as my brother and says: "It's okay." And then she proves herself every bit the whimsical princess I know her from her own movie as she starts to float around in her cave and mutters, half to Sora, half to herself:
"Besides, if you can travel to other worlds, maybe I can, too. So many places I want to see, I know I'll get there someday." And the way that the camera looks down on Ariel as she reaches out above her again reminds me of the same song before she goes on and says: "I'll find a way somehow. I'm sure of it." The camera focuses on Sora and Goofy as she says this and then turns to Sebastian, who moans: "Well, if you find it, do me a favor and leave me out of it."

This makes me burst out laughing and I say: "I guess this is what started her love for the human world, though I kind of thought that had already started when I saw how full her grotto already was." My brother shrugs and I think: "He is so lucky that he got to help play such a big part in the events that created that one world-famous movie." Ariel then returns to floating in front of Sora and gratefully says: "This is from my collection. I want you to have it."
The girl hands my brother a small blue sea-shell that looks to be made of either glass or crystal and that has a keyring attached to it. Sora removed the small bit of lamp that is attached to his Keyblade and switches it with the seashell. And instantly the Keyblade changes, the sword part turning blue, the handle turning sea-green and the guard turning purple. And the crab that represents the teeth of the Keyblade is red enough to resemble Sebastian making me giggle.
The trio want to swim back to the safe point they found at the start of their journey, but Flounder stops them and says: "Wait, I found one of those glowing circle-things in a seashell near the bottom of King Triton's throne. He'll allow you to use it, as he says." Sora thanks the fish and when they have done as permitted and returned to the Gummi ship, do the three look back to normal. Sora stretches himself and then says:

"I think I'm going to need some time getting used to being back in my own body." Donald and Goofy nod at this and then Donald asks: "Hey, didn't Chip say something about another Tournament after we escaped Monstro? Why don't we head there?" And the other two nod before Sora activates the warm system. And with that, with the three of them arriving at the Coliseum once again, does the movie pause, making me sigh in relief.
"So, quick question. Are the other two worlds we have left as intense as this one?" Dad asks, his voice proving he has been on the edge of his seat for most of the movie as well and I remember him mumbling no-cohesively during the battles against Ursula. My brother winces and says: "Depends on what you call intense. The next world is definitely just as big with that one unknown guy for the boss and the other –." And the way my brother and his mate share a glance says it all.

That's just peachy.
And I know that I was basically summarizing most of this world, but to all those who have played this part of the game, who can really blame me? This is basically in everyone's Top 10 worst worlds in the KH Franchise. While writing it, I felt like I would rather write about Sora's second journey to this world – and that's the one with all the songs in it!
Yeah, glad that's over,
