Ray Tanaka: The Lizardfolk will be from D&D Fifth Edition, or 5e, while the Argonian will be taken from Elder Scrolls Online with the Argonians having a bow from a fan made Skyrim mod. Also, both experts in this chapter are based on planned characters for D&D and Skyrim respectively.

Lizardfolk

(A reptilian humanoid that has green scales and a shield that looks like a turtle shell with two metal spikes holds a large club as they let out a growl.)

The primitive reptilian humanoids who will stalk and kill anything that enters their swamps.

(A Lizardfolk ambushes a Kenku in a swamp before cutting off the humanoid raven's sword arm with its Long Sword and jams the Spike Shield into their gut.)

Argonians

(Another reptilian humanoid in a rawhide scale jack and armor with a hide helmet stands in front of a black background as they swings a curved sword.)

The reptilian race of Tamriel who battled against those who dared to attack their homelands.

(An Argonian ducks as he strikes a Bosmer in the gut with a Macuahuitl before swinging the weapon and taking the wood elf's head cleanly off their body.)

WHO IS DEADLIEST?

To find out, our world class fighters are testing history and fiction's most lethal weapons. Using twenty-first century science, we'll see what happens when the two warriors go toe to toe.

No rules; No safety; No mercy: It's a duel to the death to decide who is...

The Deadliest Warrior

In the Fight Club, two reptilian humanoids wield weapons which appear to be from the Stone Age and Iron Age as they practice for the coming tests. The first reptilian who is mostly naked except for two belts and a leather patch examines a short spear as the second reptilian who is wearing armor performs a mock swing with a curved dagger.

Welcome to the Fight Club. Here we've gathered a team of scientists, combat experts, and doctors to see who would win between two of the most famous reptilian humanoids from the realms of fantasy.

The Lizardfolk: The reptiles of Toril who are willing to hunt other humanoids.

Versus...

The Argonians: The reptilian race who fought from their famous Black Marsh.

Lizardfolk

Height: 6'6

Weight: 230 pounds

Origin: Swamps of Toril

Armor: Natural Scales, Spiked Shield

Argonian

Height: 5'11

Weight: 178 pounds

Origin: Black Marsh

Armor: Rawhide Scale Jack, Hide Helmet, Maple Shield

A man with brown hair and gloves wearing a green jacket over a white shirt and brown pants with a lightsaber and blaster pistol on his belt examines a wooden weapon close to breaking.

Lead biomedical engineer and Jedi Knight, Marcus Jendark, will use scientific equipment to determine the potential power behind the weapons.

"We're looking at two reptilian races who make use of similar weaponry," Marcus tells the camera, "As such, I'd be looking to see the power behind these weapons to see what these two can do."

A woman with long, brunette hair wearing a white lab coat over light blue scrubs checks on a ballistic foam torso which is missing a head.

Forensic scientist and medical doctor, Amber Wilson, will provide insight to the wounds that the weapons will deliver to an actual person.

"We're looking at a match where these two will be using many types of weapons," Amber explains, "As such, how these weapons will kill are what we really need to know about."

At a desk with a few books and many scrolls, a man wearing a navy blue polo tucked into a pair of khakis reads an old scroll and is typing notes onto a document on his laptop.

Historian and researcher, Stevan Lloyd, has been preparing the coming tests and looking into the data to find info on the warriors.

"Both of these groups do have unwritten pasts which does make things harder," Stevan remarks, sipping tea from a cup, "However, that doesn't mean that what we find on these two has no value."

A man with a tan and a right cybernetic arm wearing a black overcoat over a gray shirt and green army pants types quickly on a keyboard in front of two computer monitors.

Former soldier and computer whiz, Dexter Reed, will input the weapon and x-factor data into a simulation program that will determine the winner.

"Both of these reptilian humanoids are known for fighting in skirmishes," Dexter states, "As such, this will be a one on one battle between these two races."

The simulation will run a thousand battles between a Lizardfolk and an Argonian. The winner will be the Deadliest Warrior.

A Lizardfolk with gray scales wearing a belt and a baldric on his torso with a leather patch over his left eye swings a straight sword in his right hand while wearing a strange shield on his left arm.

Sauriv, a skilled swamp hunter turned adventurer, will represent his people in this fight.

"It's not wise to try and mess with us even if you believe you'd win," Sauriv says, tapping the leather patch on his face, "I may have a missing eye, but even I am still a dangerous threat to anyone."

Despite having no written history of their own, the Lizardfolk often believed themselves to be one of the first humanoid races to appear in the lands of Toriel. In their story, the race had dwelled in the world's swamps since the beginning of time with all civilized races from outside the swamps having evolved from weaker members of their kind.

"The ancestors of the civilized races couldn't handle the harsh life in the swamps," Sauriv explains, smirking a bit, "Their evolution from their old ways made my kind view them as weaklings."

Lizardfolk often live in a tribal society with them normally getting their food through hunting and scavenging while their tools are made of natural materials or gained from other races. While most live their entire life in the swamps and marshes where they were born, some members of their race would sometimes venture out to hunt more dangerous prey or know more about the outside world.

"Those who neighbor a tribe can make a powerful ally with that tribe," Sauriv states, "My people are more than willing to protect our allies just as much as we'd protect our homes."

Our Lizardfolk expert is confident his people would win. However, the expert for the Argonian is just as confident of their people winning.

An Argonian with brown scales and two large horns on his head whose wearing thieves guild armor without the hood performs mock swings with a curved sword and dagger in both of his hands.

Poison-Twin-Blades, a Thieves Guild member from Skyrim, will also represent his people in this battle.

"My people are not to be taken lightly in any fight," Poison-Twin-Blades states with confidence, "We are more than willing to take out any threat to us."

While little is known of their ancient history, the race known as Argonians believe that they were created by a race of sentient trees known as the Hist to see the world for them. Living in the province known as the Black Marsh, they mostly stayed in their province with those who left not speaking about their history.

"For much of our history, my people were isolated from the rest of Tamriel," Poison-Twin-Blades says as he bares his teeth a bit, "That was until the Reman Empire took over most of our homes and my people were enslaved."

However, the Argonians wouldn't be enslaved for long as a deadly disease known as Knahaten Flu in 2E 560 affected much of the province with the Argonians being unaffected by it. By 2E 582 during the Interregnum, the Argonians had joined the Ebonheart Pact with the Dunmer and Nords to avoid being conquered by the Aldmeri Dominion and the Daggerfall Covenant.

"Even after being enslaved, my people are more than willing to take on our foes," Poison-Twin-Blades says as he crosses his arms, "So we'll be more than willing to take out any threats that dare try to fight against us."

So if these two reptilian humanoids go head to head, which one will come out as the victor?

"This will be just another hunt for my people," Sauriv states with a smirk, "And we'll be eating reptile meat by the end of it."

"My people are used to fighting against the odds," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks, "So this shouldn't be that hard for us."

"I think the Argonian will take this one," Dexter says, "I think their wicked weapons and having actual armor will help them win this fight."

"Something tells me that the Lizardfolk will win," Marcus comments, "Their weaponry is based around their strength and I can see them taking full advantage of that."

The strength of the Lizardfolk is something they are willing to prove with the first round of testing.

"A simple weapon," Sauriv remarks as he picks up a wooden club, "But more than deadly in the hands of a Lizardfolk."

The Club: A simple yet brutal weapon that can cause lethal trauma with just a swing.

Club

Length: 60 inches

Weight: 2 pounds

Substance: Wood

"This is one of the more famous weapons of my people," Sauriv says, showing a Club to the experts, "This Club in particular is made from a large tree branch that came off an old swamp tree."

"So, you guys just use tree branches as the basis for your weapon?" Dexter asks with an eyebrow raised.

"Not always, but it's easier to fashion one from a tree branch," Sauriv answers, "Besides, anything would do if we just need a good club."

"Well, we do have a test already set up for you," Marcus states before leading the expert to where the test was.

For the first test, a ballistic gel torso will be used to measure the lethality of the Club.

As Sauriv stands in front of the gel torso, he holds the Club out as Dexter straps an accelerometer to the club before stepping away.

"Alright, it's set up," Dexter states before looking to Sauriv, "Feel anything?"

"Not much," Sauriv replies, getting a nod from Dexter as he walks back to where the other experts were at the moment.

"Sauriv, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

With a roar, Sauriv takes the Club with both hands and swings it into the chest of the gel torso causing some visible cracking on the rib cage. Bringing the weapon back, the expert brings the club into an overhead swing that strikes the torso's left shoulder causing a noticeable cracking sound to be heard. Stepping forward, the Lizardfolk grabs the gel torso before haphazardly removing it from the stand and putting it on the ground.

With another roar, Sauriv bring the Club up with both hands on the handle and swings the weapon down onto the head. The head is smashed in as the top of the skull is sent flying with fake brain matter and blood painting the testing area and the club itself.

"Done!"

"Damn, that was brutal," Dexter states as Sauriv grabs the gel torso and puts it back onto the stand.

"Alright, your final strike killed this guy," Amber explains, looking over the gel torso, "His brains are now splattered on the ground so he's dead. The strikes to the chest and shoulder broke the bones so, while not lethal, they would at least disable him."

"So you wasted a lot of energy to score only one kill?" Poison-Twin-Blades asks before shaking his head, "How about we see how well that weapon does against my people's armor?"

"I wouldn't mind doing that test," Sauriv replies with a smirk.

With the input of Poison-Twin-Blades, Stevan Lloyd has set up a ballistic foam torso with a common armor worn by the Argonians.

"One of the most common armors used by the Argonians is known as 'Hide Armor' to them," Stevan explains, standing next to a foam torso on a stand wearing said armor, "This is composed of a shirt, or jack, of scale armor made from rawhide that covers much of the upper torso and stops at the lower abdomen. In addition, they have a helmet made of hide with a skirt around the sides and back with the top composed of rawhide scales like the jack. They finally made use of a shield that appears like that of a turtle shell made of maple wood which will be on its own stand for this test."

Now it's time for the next test for Sauriv.

Stepping up to the armored foam torso, Sauriv looks at it before turning and saying, "I'll just focus on the helmet and shield. The body armor won't be of much concern to me at the moment."

"If that's what you think," Amber states, "You ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Amber counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Sauriv brings the Club into a massive overhead swing which crashes down onto the Hide Helmet causing it to deform from the blow. The expert quickly steps back before swinging the weapon at the Maple Shield and striking the front of it causing the stand to wobble. The Lizardfolk quickly brings the Club in for another swing which causes a large crack across the shield though a small crack is heard.

Taking time to aim his next strike, Sauriv brings the weapon against the rim on the right side and breaks the shield in half through a louder crack could be heard with the strike. Looking at the Club which is now slightly bent, the expert grabs both ends of the weapon before lightly bringing it down onto his knee and breaks it.

"Well, looks like it the shield did the weapon in," Sauriv remarks as he tosses the broken weapon away.

"It seems so," Marcus replies, picking up the broken half of the shield, "However, you still managed to break the shield so it wasn't worthless."

Taking the helmet off showing a large crack on the foam head, Amber states, "It looks like the helmet did nothing to protect the foam torso. Even a crack like this could correspond to the skull being cracked open. It can be lethal based on how strong the swing is."

Despite the damage shown, the Argonian isn't impressed.

"I don't think it's a good idea to bring a weak weapon," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks, "After all, you broke the weapon by the end of your testing."

"It isn't the only weapon my people carry," Sauriv retorts, folding his arms, "Besides, your armor did nothing to stop the club. How exactly would you manage with a broken arm against a Lizardfolk?"

"Well, my people have a unique ability for that," the Argonian says with a smirk, "If you wish, I can show you the Histskin ability that we know from a young age."

Due to the nature of the Argonians, they make use of an ability which lets them bounce back from injury. Due to the risk involved with this test, our medical experts will be handling it and ensuring the safety of our expert.

Poison-Twin-Blades rests in a chair with his upper torso and arms uncovered with Amber and a few other medical experts stand next to him.

"Ready?" Amber asks, looking at the Argonian.

The Argonian expert nods before flinching as he feels Amber and another medical expert carefully using scalpels to make a few cuts into his arms. However, they quickly finish before they back away from him as Marcus walks over.

"Alright," Marcus says, "Guess you're ready to show off your ability."

Nodding, Poison-Twin-Blades closes his eyes and relaxes as his body begins to gain a luminous golden glow with him staying as he was for a few moments.

"This is the Histskin," Poison-Twin-Blades tells them, standing up from the chair and showing his arms, "As you can see, my body is being mended as I speak."

"Interesting," Amber says with intrigue, "Does this mean you can heal any wound?"

"Not any fatal wounds," the expert answers, "And even then, I can only use it once per day. However, it does last for a minute to allow my body to be healed."

As he finishes, the luminous glow fades away with his body returning to normal and the cuts on his arms having healed like they were never made.

With the testing for their armor and healing ability complete, the Argonians are ready to counter with their own weapon of choice.

"This is a traditional weapon that my people use in our homeland," Poison-Twin-Blades says, wearing his armor again with a Macuahuitl in his hands, "And it's a pretty nasty one to be killed by."

The Macuahuitl: A wooden club combined with blades of obsidian that can easily cutting an opponent to pieces.

Macuahuitl

Length: 52 inches

Weight: 3.5 pounds

Substance: Obsidian and wood

"This is the Macuahuitl," Poison-Twin-Blades tells the experts, holding the weapon in his hands, "While my people make use of iron weaponry, this is one of our best weapons for taking out our enemies."

"I'm not surprised by that," Amber remarks, "You are making use of obsidian blades which are sharper than even modern day scalpels."

"It's sharper than the iron that we often make use of," the Argonian replies, "Which is often why we make use of this weapon in combat."

"Well, how about we move onto the testing?" Dexter asks, showing the way to the testing area for the expert.

To test the weapon, a pig carcass will be used in place of a human body. Much like with the Club, an accelerometer will be used to measure the speed of the attack.

As Poison-Twin-Blades stands in front of a pig carcass hanging from a ceiling, Dexter finishes strapping an accelerometer onto part of the Macuahuitl.

"Alright, any problems?" Dexter asks, stepping away from the expert.

"No problems in the weight," Poison-Twin-Blades replies, gaining a nod as the expert retreats from the testing area.

"Poison-Twin-Blades, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Poison-Twin-Blades swings the Macuahuitl at the pig carcass which strikes the midsection and goes into the corpse causing blood to gush onto the floor. The Argonian quickly draws the war club out of the body with the obsidian blades cutting the pig up more through pieces of obsidian are left inside. Bringing the weapon back, the expert quickly swings it again and gets it into the same wound causing it to be ripped open more before drawing the weapon out in the same manner. Poison-Twin-Blades looks at the pig carcass which has the bottom half attached by a small part to the top half before nodding his head.

"Done!"

"Alright, we don't really have much to talk about," Amber states as the experts come over, "You cut this pig in half with only the spine leaving it together and this damage on a person or humanoid would kill them."

"Well, they would have died on the first strike," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks, "Not only was the damage good enough, but any obsidian that broke off in that strike got stuck inside the target."

"Now that would cause more internal damage," Dexter says with some intrigue.

While our experts are impressed, our Lizardfolk expert isn't.

"I don't see this as much of a threat," Sauriv states, shaking his head, "You said my club was weak, yet you bring a weapon that broke one side of itself in two strikes."

"True, the obsidian blades on one side is broken," Poison-Twin-Blades replies, showing the broken blades, "However, my weapon still has the other side with the obsidian blades still intact."

"Well, I'd like to see if you'd trust your blades against my hide and shield," the Lizardfolk remarks with a smirk on his face.

With the input from Sauriv, Stevan Lloyd has set up another ballistic foam torso with the common shield of the Lizardfolk and human armor standing in for their scaly hide.

"For the hide of the Lizardfolk, the closest armor we have to its durability is chainmail," Steven explains, standing next to a foam torso on a stand wearing chainmail, "For these tests, we will use a riveted mail hauberk and mail coif to represent the scales which act as natural armor. In addition, we have a Spiked Shield which is made of a turtle shell with a thin wood layer on the inside to stabilize the shell which will be on its own stand for this test."

Now it's time for the final test for the Macuahuitl.

Standing next to the chainmail covered foam torso, Poison-Twin-Blades looks at the armor set up as he holds a fresh Macuahuitl for the new test. Bring the weapon up with both hands, Poison-Twin-Blades raises it up as he says, "Well, lets see how this fairs against my weaponry."

"Alright. You ready, Poison-Twin-Blades?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Poison-Twin-Blades quickly swings the Macuahuitl into the Spiked Shield which causes some of the obsidian lining the side of the weapon to break while other blades bite into the shell. The Argonian drags the weapon to cut into it, but this results in the obsidian blades caught to shatter from the force and leaving little obsidian remaining on that side of the weapon. Grabbing the shield, the expert shoves it to the floor before spinning the weapon around to use the other side of it.

Bringing it back, Poison-Twin-Blades swings the Macuahuitl at the foam torso and strikes the chest which makes it bounce back a bit with some obsidian breaking and a few catching into the riveted mail. However, when the expert tries to drag the weapon to break it, it only causes a snag which makes the foam torso fall to the ground with the Macuahuitl coming out of the chainmail.

"Guess I'm done."

"Well, let's see what you've done," Marcus says, picking up the foam torso back up and examines the mail hauberk, "Other than a small hole, it seems like you didn't get past the mail."

"The mail may have held up," Amber remarks, looking at the mail hauberk herself, "But against the scaly hide of the Lizardfolk, this could have causes some damage and taken out a few scales. So, it would have cause some blood loss and the right spot would possibly cut open an artery."

"So, my weapon can cause lethal wounds on these reptiles," Poison-Twin-Blades sums up, smiling at this info.

"Well, let's move onto the shield," Dexter states, having gotten the stand holding it back up, "It looks like your weapon was able to get into the shield, but just broke the obsidian when you tried to draw them out."

"Guess your weapon still didn't prove itself," Sauriv remarks with a smirk, "You weren't able to cause much damage and your weapon still broke with my people's shield holding up against a strike."

"Perhaps, but there is one thing my weapon has," Poison-Twin-Blades replies, "My weapon can cause more lethal wounds and all I need is one good strike."

Both weapons have proven that they are lethal, but which one would give its user the edge?

"Honestly, I'm not liking either weapon," Marcus tells the other two experts, "Both broke during the testing and both weren't able to hold up once we included armor into the testing."

"Well, the Macuahuitl is a superior club thanks to the obsidian blades," Amber points out, "Even if the Club can get past armor, the obsidian on the Macuahuitl can cause blood loss on the Lizardfolk."

"I have to agree with the Macuahuitl," Dexter replies, "The Club can get past armor, but the Argonian is bringing something that's better than the club."

For medium range, the Argonian gets the edge with the Macuahuitl.

Our experts are preparing for the next rounds of testing to see who would emerge the victor between two reptile races from the realms of fantasy. However, before a contest of these two can play out, one must consider the x-factors that would be involved in this contest.

"After carefully looking into all of the documents we've gathered," Stevan says, "I have found that there are at least five major factors in this fight. These factors would be intimidation, physicality, endurance, killer instinct, and tactics."

These x-factors will be analyzed and then input into the simulation to help determine who would win between these two warriors. However, our Argonian expert believes that the next weapons he has will give his people a lead in this fight.

"This will be one of many weapons we have," Poison-Twin-Blades says as he shows a Sica in his hand, "Despite its small size, it's still a pretty lethal blade."

The Sica: A forward curved dagger used as a back up weapon which can deliver deadly slashes and stabs to any foe.

Sica

Blade Length: 9.5 inches

Length: 13 inches

Weight: 1.05 pounds

Substance: Iron, wood, and leather

"This is the Sica," Poison-Twin-Blades tells the experts, showing the knife as he holds it in his right hand, "It's a pretty deadly dagger which my kind makes great use of."

"So, you're bringing in a large dagger into this match?" Marcus asks, looking at the weapon, "It seems like it'd be more suitable for an assassin than a normal warrior."

"Perhaps in you're opinion," the Argonian replies with a smirk, "But in my hands this dagger is more than capable of killing even a Lizardfolk."

"Well, let's see if your weapon can do as you say," Dexter says, motioning off in a direction before the experts walk in that direction.

To test the large dagger, a ballistic foam torso has been set up to be used as a stand in for a human. In addition, a mail hauberk and coif will be used to simulate the scaly hide of the Lizardfolk.

Stepping up to the foam torso on a stand, Poison-Twin-Blades looks at it with the Sica in his right hand before he prepares himself to take on this target.

"Poison-Twin-Blades, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Dexter counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Poison-Twin-Blades quickly slashes at the foam torso which only causes the blade of the Sica to snag into the mail hauberk before he removes the dagger and leaving a small hole in it. After a moment, the expert performs a thrust which strikes the center of the foam torso with the blade going into the armor and foam. Taking the dagger out of the target, the Argonian performs a thrust to the gut to the foam torso which gets the same effect and draws the Sica out as blood flows from the bottom of the mail hauberk.

"Done!"

"Alright, let's see," Amber says, looking at the mail hauberk as Dexter takes off the mail coif, "Seems like you got through the mail with all three strikes. The first one failed to slash through it, but it may cause a pierced scale at the very least."

"Perhaps, but I don't think that wound would matter," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks, watching as the two experts remove the mail hauberk.

"Okay, we have something here," Amber states, looking at the other two wounds, "One strike would hit the heart and the second is in the gut, so cutting into the lower intestines. The gut shot would most likely just be an injury, but you managed to kill with your second strike."

"I hope that's not all you're bringing," Sauriv tells Poison-Twin-Blades, folding his arms in front of his chest, "Because the reach of that dagger limits what it will do."

"Oh, I have another weapon which you won't get rid of," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks before raising his left hand, "After all, an Argonian never can be rid of their claws."

Argonian Claws: A natural weapon that all Argonians have which can rip into a foe's flesh with no problems.

Claws

Size: 1 inch

Substance: Keratin

"My people make use of the claws which we have on our hands," Poison-Twin-Blades tells the experts, "So any Argonian who loses his weapons are never unarmed even if we don't make use of it."

"Interesting," Marcus says, "So you can use those claws in combat?"

"Yep," the Argonian replies with a smile, "Even if they're small, they are pretty lethal to any foe we face."

"Let's see how lethal those claws are," Amber says, leading Poison-Twin-Blades towards the next test.

To test out the natural weapons of the Argonian, we will pit their claws against a normal ballistic gel torso.

Poison-Twin-Blades stands in front of the ballistic gel torso with him looking at it in silence as if thinking about how to approach the test. After a few moments, the Argonian lifts his arms up and opens his hands as he takes on a fighting stance.

"Poison-Twin-Blades, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

With a battle cry, Poison-Twin-Blades steps forward and swings his right arm with the claws striking the throat of the ballistic gel torso causing three wounds with a fourth under them. As blood begins to leak from the wounds, the Argonian slashes his left hand across the upper chest which only causes light wounds on it.

Moving low, the expert slashes the stomach which causes it to be open while causing a chunk of ballistic gel to be hanging out before stepping back with blood spilling out. However, he steps forward and grabs the head before shoving his thumbs into the eye sockets ripping it up before pulling his claws out and stepping away from the bleeding torso as the experts step forward.

"Alright, we have a lot to examine," Amber says, looking over the gel torso, "Your first strike was to the neck with you ripping it open. This is a fatal wound and you'll cause him to bleed out quickly, but they'd still be alive if only for less than a minute. The chest strike you did after is only a surface wound, not even hitting the ribs."

"I wanted to make sure I didn't break my claws," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks, wiping his hands off with a piece of cloth.

"Well, you showed just how bad those claws are," Amber continues as she looks at the other wounds, "The stomach is open and you would be spilling their guts on the floor, which is a messy and quick way to kill someone. Your last wound would have blinded the target which wouldn't kill, so that's two injuries and two fatal injuries leading to death."

"Yeah, that was a nice display of savage killing," Sauriv says, smiling while giving a small clap, "Worthy display from your people. However...we do have to look at whether my people would be killed by your claws and not other humanoid races."

"Bring it on," Poison-Twin-Blades replies with a smirk.

The test is reset with a new ballistic gel torso with it now wearing a mail hauberk and mail coif to act in place of the Lizardfolk hide.

Poison-Twin-Blades steps up to the new gel torso wearing chainmail as he looks at it with the experts out of the testing area.

"Don't go for the eyes," Sauriv shouts jokingly.

"Oh, like I'd take the easy way out," Poison-Twin-Blades retorts, getting himself into a fighting stance.

"Poison-Twin-Blades, are you ready?"

"Ready."

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Poison-Twin-Blades swings his right hand with his claws scrapping a bit at the mail hauberk before hooking between a few rings and snagging as his hand gets caught. This surprises the expert, who quickly swings his other hand at the head which causes the claws on his left hand to side against it as well. Seeing that he's not going anywhere, the Argonian grabs the hauberk before carefully pulling his claws out as the experts come over to check the damage.

"Alright, so let's see what we have," Amber says, checking the mail hauberk as the expert steps back, "Looks like you didn't do much to the mail, but if these were scales you'd have taken a scale or two off."

"A problem with metal over flesh," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks, "I need to be more careful with that compared to if my claws were cutting into skin."

Despite the showcase, our Lizardfolk expert is unimpressed with the testing.

"Limited reach and lack of killing power," Sauriv says, strapping a Spiked Shield onto his left arm, "That's the problem with those two weapons. However, one of my people's signature weapons has both in spades."

The Spiked Shield: A shield that can transform a bash with the rim into a deadly impalement.

Spiked Shield

Length: 27 inches, 8 inch spikes

Width: 20 inches

Weight: 2 pounds

Substance: Scutes, wood, leather, and iron

"This is the Spiked Shield," Sauriv tells the experts, showing the shield strapped onto his arm, "This is one of the weapons that my people often use in combat."

"Damn, the two metal spikes will be deadly," Dexter remarks, looking at the shield, "Those are placed at the front which would take full advantage of the force of a punch."

"Well, of course," the Lizardfolk tells them, "And I'll be sure to showcase how deadly this is compared to that dinky knife."

"Well, the next test is right over here," Marcus says, walking towards the next test with the other experts.

To test the shield, a ballistic gel torso will be used as the test subject against the Spiked Shield. Much like with the Sica test, the Rawhide Scale Jack will be worn by the gel torso to test the armor itself.

Stepping up to the gel torso, Sauriv smirks at seeing the target wearing the body armor from earlier and then raises his left arm. After looking at the twin spikes on his shield, the Lizardfolk lowers his arm a bit and steps back as he readies himself for the test.

"Sauriv, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Letting out a roar, Sauriv steps forward as he thrusts his left armor forward in a punching motion with the iron spikes of the Spiked Shield easily punching through the armor. The twin spikes end up going into the body and poke out the back causing the backing of the jack to flex a bit.

After a moment, the expert steps back and slowly draws the iron spikes out of the target causing fake blood to leak out until the spikes come out of the ballistic gel torso.

"Done!"

"Alright, this is a pretty simple armor test," Amber says, stepping up to the gel torso as blood pour out, "You got through the scale armor on the first strike with little trouble."

"Well, it's not surprising," Sauriv remarks, smiling as Marcus helps Amber take off the Hide Scale Jack.

Looking at the two holes in the gel torso which pour out blood, Amber states, "The bottom spike went into the abdomen right under the ribs while the top spike went past the ribs. While the lower one would cause a critical injury with where it hits, the upper one would strike the liver and will cause internal bleeding along with taking that organ out."

"So, two critical injuries," Dexter sums up, "It seems like we've got a pretty lethal weapon in just a single strike."

Despite the deadly results, our Argonian expert isn't that impressed.

"Why did you bring a shield into this fight as a weapon?" Poison-Twin-Blades questions, "It's a shield so why not just use it as a shield? It seems like you could have a dedicated weapon rather than trying to make a combination weapon with your shield."

"Well, I proved that it's more than lethal," Sauriv counters, motioning to the ballistic gel torso, "Plus, it gives me one of two weapons that would be good for the killing stroke."

"Ah, so you have a second weapon as well?" Marcus asks, a bit intrigue by this fact.

"Well, of course," Sauriv says before giving a toothy grin to show off his sharp teeth.

Lizardfolk Teeth: A natural weapon which all Lizardfolk make use of that lets them tear into flesh and break bones with ease.

Teeth

Size: 1 inch

Substance: Enamel

"The teeth of Lizardfolk like me are one of the most valuable weapons we have," Sauriv tells the experts, "Great for ripping into flesh and dealing the final blow to whatever we decide to prey upon."

"Those teeth will certainly be deadly," Amber remarks, "But how strong is your bite force?"

"About the same as the alligators we often live with," Sauriv specifies, "We can break bone easily if we so desire, but tearing into meat is more than perfect."

"Well, we have something to test that out," Marcus tells the Lizardfolk before he and the other experts head to the testing area.

Much like the claws of the Argonian, the fangs of the Lizardfolk will be now be put to the test. However, due to the nature of these weapons, they will be pitted against a pig carcass without any armor.

Sauriv stands next to the other experts as he looks at the pig hanging from the ceiling and licks his chops.

"Oh, pig," Sauriv says with a bit of excitement, "I haven't eaten in a bit, so I think this will be an excellent treat."

"Well, this works perfectly," Dexter says, watching as the Lizardfolk lowers himself as he prepares for a lunge, "Okay, then it'll be on your go for this one."

Nodding his head, Sauriv takes a few slow steps from the other experts before letting out a roar as he lunges at the hanging pig. Grabbing the carcass, he bites down onto the pig's lower jaw and puts pressure on it as his bite causes a sickening crunch to be heard. Releasing the jaw and pulling his head back, the expert bites down on the throat and begins to thrash his head side to side. Blood begins to leak from the mouth of the Lizardfolk before he brings his head back, violently ripping the throat out causing blood to gush out of the wound. With the meat still in his mouth, he gobbles down the pig meat before licking his muzzle of some of the pig blood.

"Well, that was gruesome," Marcus says, handing a wet towel to Sauriv who uses it to clean the blood off his muzzle.

"There's not much to talk about here," Amber states, looking at the wounds on the pig carcass, "Your first one obviously broke the jaw as we heard and you ripped the throat out, so the victim won't survive for that long as I said before. However, the neck wound you delivered will kill much quicker than what Poison-Twin-Blades did with his claws."

"Alright, I'll give him that much," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks, looking at Sauriv as he tosses the used towel to the ground, "But the range on the teeth is very short and they won't get a kill shot unless you hit the neck and the top of the skull."

"Perhaps, but if you excuse me," Sauriv replies, grabbing the pig carcass and taking it off the hook, "I've got some pig to roast."

With that, Sauriv walks away as he flings the dead pig over his shoulder as if it was the most natural thing for him to do.

With the testing of both weapon sets complete, which one gives their warrior the edge?

"I have to give this one to the Spiked Shield and Lizardfolk Teeth," Amber states, "The Argonian Claws have more reach than the teeth, but the Lizardfolk have a weapon set which will get kill strikes even against armor."

For Special Weapons, the Lizardfolk gets the edge with the Spiked Shield and Teeth.

Coming up, the Argonian is ready to use their close range weapon to even the score, and later the Lizardfolk will showcase their long range weapon which will skewer their latest foe.

The Lizardfolk or the Argonian, who will claim the title of Deadliest Warrior?

In the Fight Club, we're one step closer to whether a Lizardfolk or an Argonian would win a fight to the death.

Both warriors have gained one edge each so far, but the Lizardfolk are ready to turn the tide of the match with the sword that they prefer.

"When it comes to weapons, we often make things for combat," Sauriv states, munching on cooked pork leg as he picks up a Long Sword, "However, even we found the sword to be a great weapon for our purposes."

The Lizardfolk Long Sword: A sword similar to the real world Spatha that's used to deliver great wounds to their enemies.

Long Sword

Blade Length: 28 inches

Length: 34 inches

Weight: 1.86 pounds

Substance: Iron and wood

"This is my people's Long Sword," Sauriv tells the experts, giving Dexter the sword, "It's nothing special compared to what other races have, but it works great for what it happens to be."

"Man, this is much like the Roman Spatha," Dexter states, "If that is the case, it'll be a great cutting weapon with the ability to thrust."

"To be honest, I prefer what the humans call a longsword," Sauriv replies, drawing a Longsword from the scabbard on his back, "However, I have used the sword of my people before this one and I will stake my life on that blade if I must."

"Well, we have a target set up for you to test that weapon," Marcus tells him, Dexter giving the sword back as the experts lead the Lizardfolk towards the test area.

To test out the Long Sword of the Lizardfolk, a ballistic gel torso will be used as a stand in for a normal human.

Sauriv walks up to the gel torso with the Long Sword in his hands while having his normal sword back in the scabbard on his back. Looking at the ballistic gel torso for a moment, he takes a step back while grabbing the sword with both hands as he prepares himself for the moment.

"Sauriv, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, hack it up!"

With a mighty roar, Sauriv swings the Long Sword and lands a blow to the neck which cuts through it causing the head to fly off to the right. He quickly takes a step back as he brings the blade back and delivers a slash across the belly of the gel torso causing blood to splash out. The expert acts fast and brings the weapon back before shooting his arms forward to jam the top third into the chest followed by him drawing the weapon out.

"Done!"

"Holy shit!" Dexter cries out in surprise and slight excitement, "You took that guy's head off in one strike!"

"Well, the first strike isn't much to talk about," Amber states, looking over the wounds of the gel torso, "For your second strike, you cut open the belly which could also cut open the lower intestines which is a rather short but nasty way to die. With your stab, you got him between the ribs and into the lungs. It seems a little off, but you were close to hitting his heart with that strike so this is a delayed kill."

"Well, that's a brutal show of display," Poison-Twin-Blades says with surprising calm, "But this is a target that can't move and isn't wearing the armor of my people. I doubt you'd get the same results with my people's armor."

"Oh, I'd like to see how your armor holds up," Sauriv replies with a toothy grin.

A second test will be performed with the Lizardfolk Long Sword, which will be done on a ballistic foam torso wearing the armor of the Argonian.

Stepping up to the cleaned up testing area, Sauriv looks at the ballistic foam torso wearing a Rawhide Jack and Hide Helmet with a Maple Shield on a stand next to it. With a smirk, he steps back and raising his right arm up as he prepares himself for the next part of the testing.

"Sauriv, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Dexter counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Sauriv steps forward and swings his arm down at an angle onto the head which strikes the helmet and cuts into the helmet before the blade slides off it. Moving his arm back again, the expert delivers a slash to the shield which causes it to splinter the front of the shield. Upon repeating the strike, the blade causes more splinters and weakening the shield before pulling his arm back.

The Lizardfolk grabs the shield and shoves it to the side with it falling to the ground before he swings the Long Sword at the Rawhide Jack. When it strikes the jack, the blade cuts into the armor and knocks the foam torso a bit to the right as it rocks a bit on its stand. Stepping back and looking at the target, Sauriv thrusts the Long Sword at the foam torso which gets jammed into the chest and lets go of the handle.

"Done!"

"Great job, Sauriv," Marcus says, walking over with the other experts as Sauriv grabs the blade of the Long Sword and pulls the sword out of the foam torso as blood flows out.

"Alright, looks like you got the blade into the jack," Amber states, looking over the armor, "The thrust strike obviously got into the armor, but what surprises me is that you got a good cut into the armor. You cut into several of the scales, but it seems like they stopped the cut. The same seems to have happened with the helmet."

"Looks like you did a number on the Maple Shield," Marcus remarks, looking over the shield after picking it up, "The strikes were strong enough to actually cut into the wood and with enough strikes could break it."

"And that is what I'm up against?" Sauriv questions with a smile, "I may not have cut into the armor, but even the strikes could have caused trauma if they didn't get past it."

"I have to agree with that," Amber replies, "You did move the target and the stand its on with your second to last strike which could still cause damage to the person's body."

Despite this display of power from the Long Sword, our Argonian expert isn't convinced by the results of the testing.

"So the Lizardfolk have a common straight sword," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks, picking up a Kopis from the table in front of him, "In the Black Marsh, our sword of choice has a trait that the blade of the Lizardfolk lacks."

The Kopis: The blade of choice for the Argonians of the Black Marsh with a forward curved blade perfect for hacking into their enemies.

Kopis

Blade Length: 20.13 inches

Length: 26.63 inches

Weight: 2.34 pounds

Substance: Iron, wood, and leather

"This is the Kopis," Poison-Twin-Blades tells the experts, holding the Kopis in his hands, "It's a deadly weapon in the right hands and the blade of choice for my people."

"It looks like it'd be great as a hacking weapon," Marcus comments.

"That's exactly why my people make use of it," the Argonian explains, "Along with being used for war, my people use this for clearing the vegetation of the Black Marsh."

"Well, we'll be testing it as a weapon rather than a tool," Amber replies, getting a nod from the expert.

"What are we waiting for?" Poison-Twin-Blades asks, following the other experts to the testing area.

Much like with the Long Sword, a test has been set up to test out the Kopis. However, instead of a ballistic gel torso, the test subject for this test will be a pig carcass.

Poison-Twin-Blades steps up to the pig carcass which is hanging from the ceiling as he holds the Kopis with him looking at it. After a moment, he nods as he grabs the grip of the sword with both hands and steps back as he brings the weapon back for a strike.

"Poison-Twin-Blades, are you ready?"

"Yes."

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, chop it up!"

Poison-Twin-Blades lets out a battle cry as he swings the Kopis and chops into the midsection of the pig causing blood to splash onto the floor. Moving his arms to turn the weapon back, the expert brings the weapon back to swing the blade and chop into the other side of the carcass. This causes the Kopis to chop into the dead pig just above the first strike before he slides the blade out of the carcass. Upon taking a step back, he angles the Kopis up before he performs a thrust into the chest of the pig carcass above the previous two strikes before drawing the sword out.

"Done!"

"Well, that was pretty bloody," Dexter remarks as the other experts walk over to the pig carcass.

"Alright, you started off with a lethal blow," Amber says as she looks at the wounds, "It would open the stomach up and cause a person's guts to possibly fall out. They'll die from the shock and blood loss caused by the wound. Your second wound hit a bit higher, so we're looking at a chop to the side. It'll go into the body, but not that deep compared to the slash you did."

"It'll still be a nasty wound," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks, "And it'll keep them down long enough for me to kill them."

"That is true, which brings us to your last wound," Amber continues, looking at the stab wound, "The stab went into chest area which could cause a lethal blow if it hits right. Here, it would have gone for the right lung which will be a deadly wound if not treated right away."

"I'm not liking that blade of yours," Sauriv says, looking at the Argonian, "Your weapon is so focused on the chop that you need to angle it if you want to stab. That'll make it difficult to take out my people's natural armor."

"Oh, I don't think it'll be much of a hassle," Poison-Twin-Blades replies with a smirk.

A second test for the Kopis will be done, this time against a ballistic foam torso wearing riveted chainmail as a stand in for the scales of the Lizardfolk and a Spiked Shield.

Poison-Twin-Blades walks up to the foam torso wearing the mail hauberk and coif before smirking at the Spiked Shield on its own stand. Turning around, he says smugly, "Well, I think the shield is a good place for my Kopis to start with."

"If that's what you want," Marcus replies, seeing the Argonian turning around and bringing the Kopis back, "Poison-Twin-Blades, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Poison-Twin-Blades steps forward and performs a side swing with the Kopis with the blade striking the Spiked Shield and chopping into the scutes of the shield face. Pulling the blade back with ease, he quickly brings the blade down onto the rim chopping into it with ease before pulling it back out with a bit more difficulty. He follows this up with a thrust with the tip going into a scute and breaks into the wood backing with him removing the blade with ease.

Grabbing the shield and shoving it to the floor, the Argonian brings the Kopis onto the shoulder of the foam torso only for the hauberk to stay intact. Drawing the sword away, he quickly brings the blade across the chest only for it to move the torso a bit with the mail staying strong. However, Poison-Twin-Blades quickly brings the Kopis back for an angled thrust and gets the tip and two inches after of the blade into the mail and torso before drawing it out.

"Done!"

"Alright, let's look at the shield first," Marcus says, walking over and picking up the Spiked Shield, "You actually got into the shield. You managed to chop into both the shield face and the rim. Even with just stabbing the face, you could break this shield with your sword."

"Well, the mail seems to have held up again," Amber remarks, looking at the hauberk as she continues, "However, the hack to the shoulder would have gotten into the scales so it would have done damage. We can't really use the skin of a Lizardfolk to show this."

"Well, at least my Kopis can take a beating," Poison-Twin-Blades states with a smile, "Plus, the thrust did get through so it'd take them out with ease."

"That it did," Amber agrees, lifting up the chainmail to show the chest wound before continuing, "You got right under the rib cage with that strike. You'd be hitting the liver and cause internal bleeding, which would kill though not immediately."

Both swords have proven their deadly potential, but which one gives its user the edge?

"This one has to go to the Long Sword," Dexter states outright, "It's got the better reach compared to the Kopis and it's simple nature allows it to deliver better kill shots with cuts and thrusts."

For close range, the Lizardfolk gets the edge with the Long Sword.

As the final round of testing is about to begin, we're one step closer to determining who would win between a Lizardfolk and an Argonian.

Confident in his people's victory, our Lizardfolk expert is ready to bring home the gold with one of their ranged weapons of choice.

"We have many weapons to use when we're on the hunt," Sauriv states while holding a Barbed Dart in his hand, "But for range the Barbed Dart is one of our traditional weapons to use."

The Barbed Dart: A wicked javelin that combines the accuracy of an arrow with the killing power of a light spear.

Barbed Dart

Length: 36 inches

Weight: 5 pounds

Substance: Iron, wood, and feathers

"These are Barbed Darts," Sauriv tells the experts, holding one in his right hand and two more in his left hand, "We often use them for a ranged weapon when we don't have access to our bows."

"I can't help but notice the spear head looking like a barbed arrowhead," Dexter observes.

"There's a purpose behind that," Sauriv explains, "Much like those arrow heads, the barbs keep the arrow in our prey and make it harder to remove without making the wound larger."

However, our Argonian expert is ready to fight back with the ranged weapon of choice for his people.

"So the Lizardfolk are bringing a throwing spear to this fight," Poison-Twin-Blades says, smirking as he picks up a Flatbow from the table, "But my people make use of a proper ranged weapon."

The Argonian Flatbow: The standard bow of the Argonians which can pick off any foe from a great distance.

Flatbow

Length: 68 inches

Weight: 1.45 pounds

Substance: Wood and string

"This is the bow that my people use," Poison-Twin-Blades tells the experts, showing them the Flatbow, "It's often our weapon when going out on the hunt or when scouting for enemies."

"Not surprised the bow showed up again," Marcus says, "Though I would expect there's a reason for its design?"

"Flatbows are much like the longbow with a different shape and cross section," Poison-Twin-Blades answers with a smile, "A bow made from a single piece of wood survives longer in the Black Marsh than what you may find in Skyrim."

To test these two different weapons, two ballistic foam torsos have been set up wearing the armor of their foes with the shields of both on their own stands.

Both Sauriv and Poison-Twin-Blades walk up to a small range in the studio with them seeing the two targets about fifteen feet away. The torso on the left has the mail hauberk and coif with the Spiked Shield next to it while the other has the Rawhide Scale Jack and Hide Helmet with the Maple Shield next to the second one. As he smirks at the sight, the Lizardfolk says, "Well, this will be interesting."

"Alright, this test will be rather straight forward," Dexter explains, "You'll both be taking on armored targets with your weapons and try to get as many kills as possible."

"Simple enough," Poison-Twin-Blades remarks with a smile, "I'm sure we'll be able to work with this."

"Good to hear that," Marcus replies, "Because you're up first."

After a moment to prepare, Poison-Twin-Blades steps up to the plate. For this test, our expert will be firing five arrows from the Flatbow.

With a quiver full of iron arrows now on his back, Poison-Twin-Blades holds the bow in his left hand before drawing an arrow and nocking it onto the bowstring.

"Poison-Twin-Blades, are you ready?" Amber asks, getting a nod before counting down, "On three, two, one, start!"

Raising the bow up, Poison-Twin-Blades draws the bowstring back and aims at the foam torso wearing the mail armor over it before releasing the arrow. The arrow flies for a bit before embedding itself into the left side of the chest as the expert draws the bowstring of his Flatbow back with a second arrow. Launching the arrow, it hits the right side though hangs loosely right before a third arrow hits the target in the neck and sticks a bit as Poison-Twin-Blades draws the bowstring back again.

The fourth arrow lets loose and whizzes through the air for a second before striking the center of the shield and getting embedded into the scutes. Drawing a final arrow from the quiver, the expert shoots it down at the shield with it striking close to the rim of the shield with the arrow getting between two scutes.

"Done!"

"Alright, step back," Marcus states, looking at other expert, "Sauriv, you're up."

Before the experts look at the first target, Sauriv will perform the test. Much like with the Flatbow, he will use three Barbed Darts for the test.

Stepping to where the other expert was, Sauriv hold the three Barbed Darts with two in his left hand and the one in his right hand prepared to be thrown.

"Sauriv, are you ready?" Marcus asks, getting a growl before counting down, "On three, two, one, throw it!"

Taking a step forward, Sauriv throws the first Barbed Dart with all his might with the dart flying for two seconds and striking the foam torso in the stomach with the dart head going in. With him taking the second dart in his right hand, the expert takes a step back to prepare himself before throwing it at the foam torso. As the dart strikes the form torso close to the center of the chest, he aims at the shield and uses his strength to throw the final dart with it striking the shield and cracking the front as the dart goes into it.

"Done!"

"Alright, let's go look at the results," Marcus says, as the experts walk over to the gel torsos at the end of the target range.

Reaching the first foam torso and the Spiked Shield, Marcus moves the shield aside as he looks at the back of it before saying, "Well, the arrows didn't make it through so the shield did its job."

"Alright, let's look at your foam torso," Amber says, pulling on the arrow on the left side of the chest to take it out after a few seconds, "So, looks like you got the arrow through a few scales and into the target. Base on the placement, you most likely would hit the left lung which would be lethal over time."

"Well, that means it'd get past the scales," Poison-Twin-Blades states, smirking at the sight of this.

"Looking at the other arrows, you didn't get pass the mail with your second arrow," Amber continues, pulling said arrow out easily before taking the last one out to see blood on the tip, "And your third arrow did get through the armor. However, it's probably not that deep and nothing major to talk about."

"So, two light wounds and a possible delayed kill," Dexter relays, "Alright, let's take a look at the second target."

Walking a few feet, Marcus takes the Maple Shield off the stand before saying, "Um, this shield has a crack where you got the dart in, and the tip is on the other side bent inward."

"Which means that I just took away a shield," Sauriv says with a toothy grin, "One less piece of armor to worry about."

"Speaking of armor, the Rawhide Scale Jack didn't help in this matter," Hope remarks, looking over the foam torso, "Your first dart went into the stomach which would be hitting the intestines and causing a delayed kill thanks to missing the armor. However, your second dart got him right below the ribs with it going through a scale. If this went through, then you got the liver and delivered a delayed kill."

With that, Amber grabs it right behind the head and pulls the dart for a second before it comes out with most of the head covered in blood.

"Considering the blood, we're looking at two delayed kills on this one," Dexter states, looking at the two experts, "In either case, good job to both you guys with the testing."

The ranged weapons of both sides have proven their lethality, but which one is securing the edge?

"I honestly don't know which one to go for," Marcus tells Amber and Dexter, "Despite how proven the bow is, the Barbed Darts did get past the armor and took out the shield."

"That is true, and the bow did have trouble against the chainmail," Amber replies, "But the natural scales of the Lizardfolk doesn't have the same durability so the arrows will actually score hits."

"Not only that, but these are ranged weapons," Dexter speaks up, "Which, despite not giving as many kills, the bow simply has the greater range compared to how far the Barbed Dart can be thrown."

For long range, the Argonian gets the edge with the Flatbow.

Now that the weapons have been tested, the armor of both warriors have also been analyzed during the testing. So, which one gives its user the edge?

"While we have been using a stand in for their natural scales, I still have to give this to the Lizardfolk," Amber explains, "They'll be loosing it with each strike, but it provided better protection than the Rawhide Scale Jack and their Spike Shield is simply better overall than the helmet and shield of the Argonian."

For armor, the Lizardfolk gets the edge with their Natural Scales and Spiked Shield.

With the testing now complete, Dexter will now load the test results and the x-factors gathered by Stevan into the simulation that will determine the winner.

Coming up, the final battle begins. The Lizardfolk and the Argonian, who will be the Deadliest Warrior?

The moment of truth has arrived. It's time to find out who would win in a battle between a Lizardfolk and an Argonian.

For the Lizardfolk, we tested five weapons they fashion for hunting and combat: the Lizardfolk Long Sword, the Club, the Barbed Dart, the Spiked Shield, and their Teeth.

For the Argonian, we also tested five weapons they make use of in the Black Marsh: the Kopis, the Macuahuitl, the Argonian Flatbow, the Sica, and their Claws.

For close range, the Lizardfolk Long Sword clashed with the Kopis.

"The problem with the Kopis is that it focuses too much on the chop," Marcus says, "On the flip side, the more simple Long Sword can slash along with be better in the thrust."

Edge: Lizardfolk

For special weapons, the Sica and Argonian Claws took on the Spiked Shield and Lizardfolk Teeth.

"Both the Spiked Shield and Teeth are simply more deadly," Amber summarizes, "What the Argonian has with the reach of his arms, the Lizardfolk makes up for with being able to get kills."

Edge: Lizardfolk

For medium range, the Macuahuitl fought against the Club.

"This one is pure and simple," Dexter states, "The Macuahuitl is a club with extra killing power."

Edge: Argonian

Finally, for long range, the Barbed Dart dueled the Argonian Flatbow.

"The range of the Flatbow simply gives it the edge," Marcus comments, "Though this is in spite of the Barbed Dart being the better weapon against armor."

Edge: Argonian

With the weapon testing complete, our experts are now ready to input the x-factors gathered by our researcher Stevan. These x-factors will be graded on a scale of 1 to 100, with the average score being a 70.

"Alright, Stevan," Marcus says, standing at a table with the other three experts, "What did you find for these two species?"

"So, we'll be starting with the x-factor of intimidation," Stevan states, "Both of these reptilian humanoids make use of stone and iron weapons to take out their foes. However, the Lizardfolk have natural armor to help tank hits and are going in for the kill with them using their bodies as weapons while the Argonians are more guerrilla fighters. As such, I had to rank the Lizardfolk at an 85 with the Argonian at a 75."

"Well, the fact that physicality plays a role means that it's the next x-factor," Dexter remarks.

"You'd be correct, and here the Lizardfolk got a rating of 78 while the Argonian got a rating of 72," Stevan tells his fellow experts, "The average Argonian can breath underwater, heal their wounds with the Histskin, and have a high tolerance to diseases. However, the average Lizardfolk has more natural armor and weapons plus are far stronger than humans and can hold their breath for fifteen minutes."

"So, not that far off from each other," Amber comments, "And the talk of armor and healing would also tie into their ability to take hits."

"Which is where endurance comes into play," Stevan states, "Here, both are basically tied with the Lizardfolk having 78 and the Argonian having 77. The Lizardfolk have natural armor in their thick scaly hides to tank hits while the Argonian has armor they created plus their high disease tolerance and their healing ability."

"Which leads into killer instinct," Marcus says, "Their ability to tank hits means that both would need to go for the killing blow before the other."

"Absolutely, and here the Lizardfolk has a clear edge," Stevan replies, "Argonians are generally peaceful, but they'll be willing to take on any lethal threat to their homeland. However, the Lizardfolk will go after any creature with other humanoids considered fair game for hunting and will eat them once they kill them. This gives the Lizardfolk has a rating of 86 and the Argonian has a rating of 76."

"Then that just leaves the final x-factor," Amber states.

"That x-factor happens to be tactics with this being a complete wash," Stevan tells them, "Both are at a 75 as, while the Lizardfolk use their knowledge of terrain and hunting skills, overall they make use of guerrilla warfare tactics when they get into combat."

"Alright, let's get the x-factors into the simulation," Dexter says.

With the x-factors now being placed into the simulation, Dexter will load the data into the program that will simulate a thousand battles between a Lizardfolk and an Argonian.

It's a battle of opposites.

Hunter...

(A Lizardfolk charges a Bullywug and knocks their spear using her Club before swinging it down onto the head of the frog humanoid breaking it open.)

Versus Skirmisher

(An Argonian glows as her body heals while hiding from a Breton before raising her Flatbow up and releasing the arrow to strike them in the head.)

Who would come out as the victor?

"Alright, time to see the results," Dexter says, turning around and pressing some keys on the keyboard.

-X-x-X-

In a large area of swampland with trees and plants growing freely, a reptilian humanoid with brown scales is walking through the water which is up to their knees. Said reptilian has a makeshift belt around their waist with a Long Sword tuck between it and their body with fur around their right forearm. As they keeps walking, the Club in their right hand touches the water while holding two Barbed Darts in their left hand with a Spiked Shield on their left forearm.

This being is a Lizardfolk whose making his way through the swamp away from his village which is located nearby. Out on a hunt, the Lizardfolk walks to get out of the water and soon steps onto a muddy shore as he continues to search for some suitable prey.

Close by in another area of the swamp, another reptilian humanoid with light blue scales on their body is walking through the tall grass around a few trees with dense shade over them. Said humanoid is wearing a Rawhide Scale Jack and a Hide Helmet on their head with a belt that holds a Kopis in a scabbard and a Sica in a sheath on the left and right sides respectively.

On the back of their jack is a quiver full of arrows with a Maple Shield over it being held by a strap that loops around their right shoulder and chest. They hold their Flatbow in their left hand to keep it from getting wet while having a Macuahuitl in their right hand which lightly touches the blades of grass.

This being is an Argonian whose part of a small army which has planned to make their way through this swamp. Having been sent ahead, his mission is to check the swamps for any possible threats and find a means to travel through the area.

As he keeps walking through the swamp, the Argonian suddenly stops as he hears something approaching and squats down as he waits for where the source is coming from. Within a few moments, he sees the Lizardfolk walking in front of him with him walking from the left. Seeing the weapons and realizing that he's a possible enemy, the Argonian puts his Macuahuitl down to lean against a nearby tree while trying to stay quiet.

Unaware of the other reptilian, the Lizardfolk sees a boar nearby to him and smirks as he stops and drops his Club onto the ground. Grabbing one of the two Barbed Dart from his left hand, he takes a step back as he prepares to throw it at the animal.

However, an arrow suddenly flies in and strikes his right leg causing the Lizardfolk to cry out and stumble a bit causing the boar to run off. Looking down to see the arrow barely in one of his scales, he turns in the direction while pulling it out with his right hand and tossing it to the side. As the Lizardfolk scans the area, the Argonian nocks another arrow onto the bowstring of his Flatbow and draws it back as he takes aim.

As he keeps looking, the Lizardfolk spots the Argonian and lifts his Spiked Shield up in time for the second arrow to get into a scute. Lowering his shield as he steps back, the Lizardfolk steps forward as he throws the Barbed Dart at this new humanoid.

In an instant, the Argonian is struck in the left leg by the Barbed Dart with it easily punching through the guard over his upper leg. Crying out in pain, the Argonian drops his Flatbow and steps back as he pulls the dart out which makes him cry out again before looking back up. Seeing them about to throw the other Barbed Dart, he quickly toss the dart away and grabs at the Maple Shield on his back with his left hand.

As the Lizardfolk throws his Barbed Dart, he watches his new foe move his shield up in time to tank the dart though it cracks a bit as it embeds the head nearly through it. Picking up his Club, the Lizardfolk charges forward which the Argonian sees and grabs at his Sica with his right hand.

Upon reaching his enemy, the Lizardfolk swings his club as his foe raises his shield to block it only to break it in half with a weaker crack being heard. Drawing his Sica as he drops his broken shield, the Argonian ducks under a swing and shoots his right arm forward. The blade goes into the gut a bit before being pulled back and getting another stabbed in righ as the Argonian gets punched in the face by his foe's right fist.

Knocking his foe back a bit, the Lizardfolk lifts his foot up before kicking them to the ground with the Sica being dropped and lifting his Club up into the air. However, the Argonian rolls out of the way as the Club smashes into the ground where he was with another crack being heard before thrusting his left hand forward.

Getting two claws into his right eye, the Lizardfolk screams as he stumbles back and grabs his face as the Argonian stumbles towards his Macuahuitl. Upon grabbing the weapon, the Argonian uses the flat of the weapon to swing it into the belly of his foe as they swing their Club. Being struck in the face, the Argonian backs up as he feels his jaw pulsing in pain as his foe backs away before raising his club.

Acting fast, both swing their weapons with the Macuahuitl shattering a few obsidian blades while breaking the Club in two. This surprises the Lizardfolk before seeing his foe slamming the weapon into his right side with the obsidian blades cutting into his scales. Stepping back in pain, the Argonian drags the Macuahuitl back tearing his foe's side open and leaving some broken obsidian shards into the wound. Crying out from this, the Lizardfolk stumbles backwards before grabbing his side and turning as he rushes off.

Despite wanting to charge after his foe, the Argonian stumbles back into a tree and letting his lower jaw drop a bit out of pain as he closes his eyes. At that moment, he body gains a glow as he uses his Histskin ability to heal up his injuries.

Realizing his foe isn't chasing him, the Lizardfolk stops in the water as he breaths a bit while trying his best to keep his right side from bleeding out. Letting out a growl of anger from how injured he is, he looks back from where he ran from and realizes how the area he's in looks. A grin comes to him as he realizes that his foe is now suitable prey for his hunt...and he's got a plan already.

Once the Histskin finishes healing his body, the Argonian gets to his feet while holding his Macuahuitl and takes off after his enemy. He couldn't allow them to reach whoever they're with as it'd allow any possible army to be alerted to the one he's part of.

Following after the tracks in the mud, he is able to go for a good while before the tracks end as he reaches the area of water. Deciding to keep going, the Argonian walks forward into the water while having his Macuahuitl raised up to strike as he keeps his eyes looking around. Seeing movement to his right while the water reaches his knees, he turns to look at the threat only to see an alligator swimming through the water which makes him calm down.

Turning back to where he was going, the Argonian steps forward only for the Lizardfolk to lunge from the water directly in front of him. Before his foe could react, the Lizardfolk grabs him and makes him back up as he bites down on his left shoulder.

Crying out as his left shoulder breaks from the bite force, the Argonian lifts his left knee up and slams it into his foe's gut making him back up as he rips some of his flesh off. Both back away and look at each other as the Lizardfolk smirks and swallows the flesh in his mouth. Looking in a bit of horror at his foe, the Argonian uses his good right arm to swing the Macuahuitl as best he can only for his foe to duck and spin under the swing.

This causes the Argonian to be struck by his foe's tail and sends him back into the water with him loosing his weapon. He tries to make use of this to swim away, but the Lizardfolk quickly moves forward and grabs him by the tail making him surface.

Grabbing his foe's broken shoulder, the Lizardfolk lifts them up and throws them closer to the shore and walks over to him as he draws his Long Sword. Rolling and getting to his feet which are covered by the water, the Argonian lets his left arm hand hang limply as he uses his right hand to draw his Kopis. Stepping forward, he tries to chop into his foe only for them to raise their Spiked Shield to block it through it cuts into a few scutes.

However, the Lizardfolk quickly returns the strike with a slash of his own that cuts into the scales of the jack and makes his foe back away towards a tree in the water. Seeing this, his foe tries to strike him again only for the Argonian to step out of the way and moves forward to deliver his own strike. This causes the Lizardfolk to cry out as his hand is chopped into and makes him drop his Long Sword out of pain and steps away from his foe.

Going on the offense, the Argonian moves forward to deliver an overhead strike only for his foe to raise his shield up and his sword chops into the rim of it. He wrestles his sword out and prepares to deliver another strike, but the Lizardfolk pulls his left arm back and slams the face of his Spiked Shield into the face of his foe. Once he stumbles back into the tree behind him, the Argonian looks up to see his foe stepping forward before the spikes of the shield slamming into his gut.

As his foe cries out, the Lizardfolk moves his head forward in a lunge as he bites down on his foe's throat as they drop their Kopis and grab his face. Before they could use their claws, the Lizardfolk shakes his head as his teeth sink in before jerking his head back causing a choked gasp from his foe.

Right before he jerks his head back a second time and rips his throat off spewing blood from it.

The Argonian moves his only good arm to grab his bleeding neck as he watches his foe lifting his head up and gobbling his flesh down. As he looks at his foe, the Lizardfolk grabs his dying foe and drawing his Spiked Shield out of his foe before letting the Argonian collapse into the water.

Watching as his foe's body laying in the water and not moving, the Lizardfolk looks up to the sky before raising his arms up into the air as he lets out a mighty roar of victory.

-X-x-X-

"Out of a thousand battles, the Lizardfolk managed to gain the victory with nearly fifty five percent of the wins," Dexter explains, "This is due to claiming a good amount of the x-factors which ties into their better armor and more lethal weapons."

The Lizardfolk ultimately gained the victory with a total of 548 kills. Their Long Sword and Club became their best weapons in the simulation, but their Teeth lagged behind the rest.

Lizardfolk

Club: 178

Spiked Shield: 86

Teeth: 9

Long Sword: 211

Barbed Dart: 64

Total Kills: 548

Despite the loss, the Argonian put up a good fight with a total of 452 kills. Their Macuahuitl and Kopis gained the most kills among of his arsenal only for their Claws to be their weakest weapon.

Argonian

Macuahuitl: 180

Sica: 59

Claws: 1

Kopis: 117

Flatbow: 95

Total Kills: 452

However, it was the x-factors which played the largest role in this match. While both were even in endurance and tactics, the Lizardfolk had the edge in the other three x-factors putting the Argonian on the back foot.

X-Factors:

Intimidation: 85/75

Physicality: 78/72

Endurance: 78/77

Killer Instinct: 86/76

Tactics: 75/75

"Physicality played the biggest role in this match up compared to other x-factors," Stevan explains, "Their natural armor protected them from attacks while their greater than human strength made any hit they gave far more deadly."

"Both warriors didn't have the best equipment coming into this fight," Marcus states, "However, the armor played a big role in this contest and the Lizardfolk simply had the better set for this fight."

"The weapons of the Lizardfolk had a big help in this fight," Amber says, "As the testing has shown, their weapons were able to deliver better kills thanks in part to their natural strength advantage."

"I doubt our foe could have won," Poison-Twin-Blades sneers while folding his arms across his chest, "To think that their brute strength alone saved them ignores the will of the Hist."

"Our hunt was fruitful, and we'll have a feast tonight!" Sauriv exclaims before biting down on a piece of cooked pork rib and tearing meat off.

(The Lizardfolk walks back into the village with his Long Sword on his belt and carrying the dead Argonian over his shoulder. Stopping as others approach, he raises his right hand and his new Kopis into the air as a sign of his triumph.)

WHO IS DEADLIEST?

Ray Tanaka: Finally! I've gotten the second chapter out! I would have gotten this out sooner, but life kept getting to me and I'm also writing another story on another site so I have a lot of things going on. However, the chapter is now done and I'm able to move on with the others. So, I did change quite a lot from when I started this and featured both characters thanks to having a copy of the D&D Monster Manual for 5e and switching the Argonians from Skyrim to ESO.

Starting with the Lizardfolk, they have use of the Club, Spiked Shield, and Javelins with their Bite being another weapon for them. I switched the Javelins to the Barbed Dart from Third Edition since that is supposed to be a unique weapon for the Lizardfolk and the Long Sword is more of a hold over from the original. Funny enough, a variant of the Lizardfolk does have a polearm in the form of the Trident though the standard ones use the Club. If I was to use a bow, the Short Bows I had them with against the Khajiit are actually Composite Bows and Recurve Bows (called 'Short Bows' by D&D rules) which don't work well in humid and wet climates so I'd instead go with the Longbow especially with their +2 Strength advantage.

As for their armor, the rules give their Armor Class as 15, with Natural Armor plus Shields which are always +2 armor. That gives the Natural Scales an Armor Class of +13 with an equivalent based on the armors you can choose being the Chain Shirt. Hence the use of chainmail in place of the scaly hide for the tests. Was actually pretty cool to figure that out using the rules that D&D has in place.

As for the Argonian, the reason behind the switch to ESO is that the game gives them their own unique armor sets and weapons which differ greatly to the other weapons used by the other races and what you find in Skyrim. This worked out pretty well as it gave the two warriors more similarities and yet still make their weapon sets different. Although, the bows used in ESO for the Argonians are Recurve Bows which, as I said earlier, wouldn't work hence why I changed it to the Flatbow.

So, the next time is actually different than what I had originally in mind. I was planning on doing Pancho Villa vs. Theodore Roosevelt (a match I still would want to do), however, I started thinking of the x-factors for that match and, after discussing it with a couple of others, I decided to go for it to get my own take on the fight out there.

As a final note, I have changed two matches I had previewed for the First Part of this series. I have switched out the Demon Hunter out for the Chantry Templar to fight the Paladin of Bahamut due to both using magic. The second one, Papal Swiss Guard vs. Yeoman of the Guard, has been changed out to Landsknecht Doppelsoldner vs. English Musketeer since I didn't know how to approach the first one (I have figured it out, but I'll wait on it for now) and the second fight I am interested to see how it plays out. So, after that long wait, I hope you all enjoyed and are looking forward to the next chapter!
