The stone halls of the catacombs echoed with the sound of faint footsteps resonating within its heart. Their pace was neither quick nor slow, which gave the impression that the person was familiar with the layout and was not a intruder fleeing for their life.

Deep within the 2nd floor of the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick, lay the personal chambers of the number 1 floor guardian, Shalltear Bloodfallen, the Adipocere Chamber. In all of Nazarick, only a select few would ever be able to approach in such a casual manner.

The first of these individuals would be the rooms sole owner, followed by her vampire concubines. Though the mistresses playthings would not be able to leave the room without her permission, nor could one enter without her presence. And Shalltear would likely teleport inside when she was not accomplishing her duties as a floor guardian.

The next group of people would be one of the other guardians, or their subordinates. The likelihood of this was also fairly low, as if any of them were visiting Shalltear, they would have sent a [Message] to inform her of their arrival. Their minions were also not efficient at delivering messages swiftly, and often times had other task, such as defending their domiciles, or acting as their bodyguards.

This left one final group. One which needed no explanation as to why they were coming. The rest of the denizens would merely drop what they were doing and bend to whatever their whims may be. Beings which even surpassed the term "God."

Indeed. For they were the 41 supreme beings. The creators of Nazarick as a whole.

And as fate would have it, the one currently making his way to the locations was the creator of both it, and the one who resided within. 'The Winged King of Explosive Strikes,' Peroroncino.

"Hm, Though we put a lot of detail into the great tomb, it would seem that there wasn't really much creativity with this section. Well, you can't really do much for a tomb other then placing undead everywhere."

Though one was likely to find the influence of the great tombs creators everywhere one looked, the Catacombs was the most devoid of such things. That wasn't to say such things were not present, locations such as the black capsule and underground chapel. However these were nothing, if not lacking in creativity. Though the main reason for this was the catacombs took up a rather large portion of the tombs budget for building, so things were kept to a minimum with how much they were changed.

"At least this one got to be implemented."

In order to enter the living quarters of Shalltear Bloodfallen, one would have to cross the Derelict Rope Bridge. The rope that held it looked to be nearly on the brink of snapping in some places, and the floorboards that held it together were rotted away from the passage of time. Below the moldered bridge lay innumerable corpses, wailing out to any who could hear.

Though one may immediately turn around when seeing such a path, Peroroncino knew that it was merely a cosmetic effect, and the bridge itself was as sturdy as a concrete road. Not to mention, anyone who possessed flight spells would not be deterred in the slightest, so ultimately its only purpose was for decoration.

As he quickly passed the seemingly perilous crossing, he stopped in front of a simple stone door. A somewhat pleasing odor wafted through the underside of the door. He raised his hand to give a light knock, but stopped before he was about to make contact.

How do I want to handle this? Its obvious that I can't treat her like were seeing eye to eye based on how the others have acted, and I'm no good at playing the part of a superior. But Momonga-san said that we could get along... Alright!

With his preparations of psyching himself up complete, he moved forward to knock on the door.

"Excu..."

His hand was barely able to even reach the entrance however before the door was violently swung open, leaving a sparkly eyed beauty in its place.

"Peroroncino-sama! I've been awaiting your arrival! Please, come in." It would seem that the reaction from earlier was not unique to the twins. Though she was making an effort to subdue her reaction, it was not very effective, and her emotions still carried through.

I just need to act formal right? Or at the very least not act rude. "Thank you Shalltear. I will do so.

As he said this, she immediately moved to the side to allow him entry. It would seem that she was waiting for him to pass through before doing anything. Though it was common etiquette to hold open a door, he was not used to this treatment, as such practices had practically died out on earth, since people did not have the time to spare most of the time.

As he stepped through, the scent from earlier became noticeably stronger, and a very thick musk permeated the room. Since he created the room, he was well aware of what it was. In YGGDRASIL, it was a type of poison that was listed as an aphrodisiac. Any entity within it would suffer from confusion until it was exited or cleared in some way. Of course, Shalltear, as one of the undead, was immune to such status effects.

While Peroroncino was not naturally immune, he had a magic item that would prevent him from being even slightly turned on. He knew this because he had triple checked himself to make sure it was equipped before he left. It would be very bad if he fell under its control now, as the effects were most likely changed to their original purpose.

The room was just as he remembered it. It was designed to be a very traditional room for a girl, with gauzy pink veils near the ceiling, and antique furniture. Though probing any further would expose the rooms rather questionable secrets.

"Please have a seat Peroroncino-sama!" A chair was moved away from the table, with Shalltear beckoning him to sit.

This is becoming a bit of a hassle...

While he appreciated the kindness in her gestures, it seemed a bit to excessive for him, to the point where he was beginning to suspect if she was doing this out of a need for something. Of course it was just something he needed to bear with, and it was still far from annoying.

"Once again, thanks, but you don't need to be so attentive to my needs you know? I can handle myself just fine."

"Of course! I'd expect nothing less of you my lord! But it would be remiss of me to not see to it that both your needs and any inadequacies are taken care of! If I could not even do that, then how could I call myself a guardian!?"

"I-I understand." He could not bring himself to fight back against the stalwart defense that was her emotions, thus he had to just accept his defeat and allow her to do so.

The warmth from seeing her smiling face by spending time with her creator could not be faked however, which managed to sooth his somewhat anxious feelings.

"Ah! If you would Rather sit upon me instead, I would be more than happy to oblige! Ainz-sama did the same a while ago and it was the most glorious of rewards! Do you wish to do the same?"

However what was just said blew away whatever measure of calm he had managed to gain.

So Momonga-san, it seems you have finally come over to the dark side...

"No, that's... I'm fine. How about you just sit across form me on the other seat?"

"Very well!"

She elegantly, yet excitedly moved over across the table, and placed herself parallel Peroroncino. Though he was expecting her to lead off with a question about him, she simply sat their, smiling as like always.

This is awkward. Say something!

His inward plea went unnoticed, which meant he had to start off the conversation himself. "How has your work in Nazarick been so far?

Since he rarely engaged in conversations himself, his people skills were rather low outside of the guild. Many guild mates had lamented to him about moments where they could only ask boring questions to keep a conversation going, like, "Crazy weather right?" or other similarly inane topics. He could now understand them deep within his soul, as that was essentially what he had just done.

Could I have said anything more generic if I tried?

"I thought you might ask that Perorocino-sama! I am doing completely fine in my duties as a guardian. I have been entrusted with many duties outside of defending The first three floors, such as controlling the gate system, as well as leading the frost dragons! After all my efforts and tribulations for Ainz-sama, I feel as though I have finally scrubbed away the stink of failure that once clouded my body. This, Shalltear Bloodfallen, will let all of Nazarick know she can be of use to everyone!"

Her passionate speech had left her panting by the end. It would seem she had poured her heart and soul into her declaration.

"So I've heard. I'm quite proud of what you've managed to accomplish Shalltear. You've truly Grown From what I'd originally intended." Her beaming smile grew even wider and a blush manifested itself on her face as she was bathed in praise from her creator. "However, by "the stink of failure", do you mean when you were mind controlled?"

Within the blink of an eye, her previously exorbitant face fell into a frown, and she wistfully confirmed his words. "Indeed. I committed the worst sin any guardian could commit, and turned my lance against one of the supreme ones! Though Ainz-sama has repeatedly told me it wasn't my fault, I don't feel as if that is the case. Even now I feel ashamed of myself, despite not having any memory of the incident." her lip quivered, and she suddenly threw her arms up, only to bring them back down for her face to land into. "Oh Ainz my lord! How could I have done that to you!"

Peroroncino wanted to comfort her, but he had no such experience. Hell, he had no such experience dealing with women Period. But regardless, it was obvious he needed to do something for her condition. And so he did the only thing he could think of, and rested his hand on her back.

"It's fine Shalltear, It's not your fault. You had only been here for a few days, so it was impossible to know if such a threat was looming in the distance. Besides, what makes you so sure that you were to blame, and you weren't caught by surprise?"

She simply lifted her head and stared through tear stained eyes. "The last thing I remember was chasing some humans in search for information, which means I must have activated my [Blood Frenzy], and caused all sorts of problems to occur. I'm certain that they noticed me because of that..."

Back in the game, [Blood Frenzy] was merely a useful skill. But now that it was real, it seemed to be causing some trouble with Shalltear's character as a whole. In the end, the blame was on him for adding it. Of course, no one could have known this would happen, but in the end he had created her, so anything she did was, by extension, his doing.

"Even if that was the case Shalltear, I was the one who gave you that ability. So in the end the fault would lie with me no?"

She immediately looked in horror as the words left his mouth. "I wouldn't dare! None of this is your fault Peroroncino-sama! I am solely to blame!"

"Well I would argue the exact opposite. You were performing your duties and got messed up by a feature that I made. That seems to be telling of my own failure wouldn't you agree?"

"I wouldn't! However you designed me is how I was meant to be in your will! If I can't control it, then the blame is on me!"

"No, The blame is on me for..."

This back and forth went on and on, seemingly never to reach a end. Both parties refused to shift blame on the other due to one reason or the other. One out of loyalty, and one out of kindness. And after several; minutes had passed of there incessant bantering, a solution was proposed.

"Since we both seem to think that ourselves are to blame, why don't we just agree to disagree and say we both messed up?"

"Ngh... I guess that's..."

"Then it's agreed."

I still don't think you did anything wrong.

Both parties thought the exact same thing, though neither would ever admit it.

"Well now that that is done with, do you have anything that you would like to ask of me? I'm open to anything you know?" While this was ultimately for her sake, and it was only natural to allow her questions to be answered, he was quite interested in what questions a person like her would ask of him.

"If that is the case... Would you give me your blessing to marry Ainz-sama?"

"Egggh!" That sound which did not even sound like one his body could produce escaped his throat from the shock of hearing her first question. "You... You want to marry Momonga-san?"

"Indeed. For he is the personification of beauty! His pure white frame exudes majesty, and he is everything I am looking for in a man! Undead, yet not rotting, Kind, but not afraid to get rough, and is one of the only people whom I can never rule over! Could one ask for a more perfect spouse?"

"I-I see. And is Momonga-sama... fine with this?" While he himself would have immediately agreed to be with such a enchanting beauty, his friends opinion was a different matter entirely. If he was not okay with it, then he wouldn't push it.

"Hah... I've been trying so hard for him to notice me, but he turns down all my advances. But I'm certain that one of these days I'll steal him away from Albedo!"

So that's how it is.

It would seem that she was simply in the process of trying to get with him, but nothing had actually happened yet. Though he needed his friends opinion on the matter first.

"Well, I can't say anything until I hear his opinion, but if he is okay with him, then I'll gladly do so. With that being said, is their anything else you want to ask?" though he was beginning to grow attached to Shalltear throughout their conversation, he would have no qualms with letting her be with Momonga if both wanted it. Hell he'd do the same in his place. Though he might not share the same taste as me.

"Mm~ Though this may be a rather selfish request, may I ask for one thing my lord?"

"Of course."

"Could you increase my breast size?"

"...Eh?"

Once again the sound of utter confusion rang forth. He simply turned his gaze downward in a non lustful way for once, and asked her a question of his own. "Aren't you already satisfied with what you have?"

When he had commissioned Shalltear's design, the artist had a distinct distaste for loli's, thus he had made her breast far to large for her body in the final design, and since it was a favor, he could not ask for a retake.

"This is just padding I use to make due for my decidedly lacking chest. In reality I'm nothing but a washboard. Therefore, I was hoping that you could..."

"That's great!"

"Eh?"

It was now Shalltear's turn to give a stupefied cry after hearing her creator say such things. How was such a thing good in any way?

"Why would you want more when your already perfect the way you are? Girls with flat chest are far more attractive then others for so many reasons! The have a maternal energy, so they have a very motherly fell to them, they tend to look more professional in outfits, and in general look adorable, which only enhances there cuteness! In other words, Flat is justice!"

this speech could be considered his signature catchphrase, as his true personality escaped from within him.

"Is that really true?"

"Of course! Anyone who can not see such a obvious truth is simply blinded by their foolishness!"

Hearing this rather passionate speech seemed to light up Shalltear's mood considerably. Though he hadn't really been trying to at the time. He was simply excited that his background lore became real, since he added it as a joke when the design was finished. Of course, having such a beauty who was built to fit all of his interest be unattainable to him was saddening at first, but he did not mind anymore.

While he feared all of his jokes he had added into her lore would make her into a rather unsavory character, she seemed to be relatively normal, but just rather open about her sexual interest.

In other words, himself.

Her personality was just a mirror of his own.

Bearing witness to this fact, he cheered up along with Shalltear, as he was no longer ashamed of his creation, but instead happy to have someone who he could relate to on every level. But their was one thing left he needed to test.

"Hey Shalltear, what do you think about Aura and Mare?"

"Hm? Mare is fine, but that shorty should really watch her tongue sometimes. Who does she think she is, constantly picking fights with me? Though that isn't to say I don't care about her..."

There is no doubt. She is my creation.

A/N Ah Peroroncino, what a character.
